Club de Nuit Iconic Extrait de Parfum

This fragrance is interesting to my nose. It’s like a BDC greatest hits in a single bottle. Is a 1:1 of BDC? No. Is this a 1:1 of BDC Parfum? No. Is it a 1:1 of BDC L’Exclusif? No. It’s like they took small parts of all 3 and blended them together to make something inspired. I have wore all of the BDCs and this an amazing inspired fragrance in my opinion. The more I smell it I think it leans heavier to BDC edt/parfum with a touch of L’Exclusif. Against a lot of other popular opinions L’Exclusif is my favorite in the BDC line. There something unique about it that’s hard to explain, I just have a different confidence when I wear it. It doesn’t last long on me though and for that reason a lone I can’t justify the asking price. One thing about Iconic Extrait is that it allows me to experience all the things I like in the BDC line in a single wear. My collection is over 90% designer and it takes a lot for me to stray unless it’s something special. I own it and highly recommend if you like the BDC DNA. Clone of nothing, but a greatest hits of them all. This and Seasons Drift have filled the L’Exclusif gap................for now.. Pick this up.

Blue Iconic original always has been a solid fragrance that held the essence of BDC but play it easygoing by being forward on the pink pepper and citrus. Weirdly enough this is just Blue Iconic but changes the balance to lift up the amber wood notes. So I rather say this is just an interpretation on making the DNA heavier with a long-lasting body rather trying to be a BDC Parfum or L'Exclusif. Overall more smoother and creamier. Still remiscents of that grapefruit and melon but there is not a lift to distinguish too much. 8 to 9 hours of holding on skin With nice sillage for 3 hours (honestly crazy for an extrait) More versatile than the original because I would rock this at a date 100% Also I like to note I've never came across a dupe that really tries to smell like Chanel anyway, they obviously hold their aldehydes a secret.

I own both iconic and iconic extrait. I like this one better overall. The opening in the original is better but honestly, who cares about the opening when it’s over so fast anyways. Extrait shines in its smoother scent profile and insane longevity! It’s perfect for work as it lasts all day but doesn’t overwhelm or project too much. It stays about an arms reach away with projection and leaves a nice scent trail whenever you move around. Great everyday and every occasion type of scent!

This to me this is a BDC inspired fragrance, it is not a very citrus opening actually pretty smooth. Through the mids it picks up some mellow fruitiness and in the dry down sweet, fresh and some amber. All seasons and anytime. It lasts 8+ hours and the silage is moderate for about 2 to 3 hours then becomes a little more close, but you still leave a trail. If you like a decent priced Blue fragrance that is inspired by the BDC DNA, this would be for you.

I've bleu de chanel edp & parfum, this smells 70% edp & 30% parfum at dry down, Initially there's some alcohol blast and synthetic feel but during dry down you can feel quality ingredients, no one can beat chanel quality but you can definitely feel BDC notes, longevity is good with moderate projection. Edit :- After mecerating for 3 months quality is improved and initial alcohol blast is gone, Now it's 90% close to l'exclusif.
