Club De Nuit Intense Overdose

Soooooooo, I've just taken delivery of Overdose this morning, and here's my take - I've been looking for a replacement of my original batch CDNIM LE Parfum from 2021. For me. that was by far the very best in the CDNIM line, and the best batch from that line - Fruity throughout, not too smoky or mossy, and lasted ALL day. I purchased a bottle of LE Parfum in 2024 as I was nearly out, and it was just pure birch from start to finish, with a little bit of fruit for starters. Not horrible, just not the same juice from 2021, and the performance was definitely lacking. Anyways, fast forward to last year, and I pulled the trigger again on the LE Parfum in the 'new' bottle in the hope something might have improved. Sadly, calling it cat piss doesn't even do it justice. I did the usual thing as I do with all clones of spraying it 10 times and leaving it under the the bed for a month to see if it would improve, but it just got worse. It was totally devoid of any fruitiness, and smelled like my shirt at 9 in the morning a night out in Ibiza. Add to that the projection and longevity being atrocious, and it's fair to say I had near enough given up chasing the CDNIM unicorn altogether. However... That was until I saw a video last week from Ash at Gents Scents labelled 'the KING of CDNIM'. Having skipped over the past few CDNIM releases (Absolu / Extrait / Extreme) due to them being very hard to find / not actually released in the UK, I thought I'd humour Ash and take a look at his video. Everything he said made me very curious, so I googled it, and lo and behold, Armaf Uk actually had it in stock! So, pulled the trigger, and it arrived today. What can I say? It's, very, very good. It's very similar to the first LE bottle I had, with the fruit amped up even more, and the woods coming through after an hour or so, BUT still keeping the fruit in the mix after hours of wearing it. I'm failing to smell any blue crystal, or 'white powder', however the amber in it is there from the off as well. It's not EXACTLY CDNIM as we know it, but for me it is a split of - 50% old school CDNIM LE Parfum (Original batch) 20% it's own thing 15% Lataffa Qaed al Fursan with the pineapple off the top 10% SNOI with the blackcurrant accord and oakmoss (Before reformulation) 5% (and hear me out on this), YSL Y EDP with the amber grounding everything in the drydown Now, I know that may seem like a lot of different things all going on at once, but I think it's only fair to give a decent and honest reflection of how it smells off the bat to my nose. In terms of projection and longevity, I sprayed it on at 09.30 this morning, and having been sat in an air conditioned office most of the day as it is 27 degrees Celcius outside, this thing is STILL pushing off me after 2 sprays. When I step outside, it just radiates straight off of me in the high heat, and no matter where I walk I'm leaving a HEAVY trail. I feel as though after spending over £120.00 on the last 2 bottles of sub-par CDNIM, I've finally found a worthy, albeit different successor for my little unicorn from 2021. It does it's own thing, sure, but it is far better than anything I have smelled from the CDNIM line in recent memory. I don't do glazing, and I don't get excited by things, but I'm very happy with my purchase, and if you are looking for something from Armaf that you haven't quite been able to get a hold of these past few years, just with a new twist, give Overdose a go. 8.5 out of 10 (So far).

Not as Absolu-related as suggested on here at all. Aventus DNA with richer fruits and slightly dark edge, making it feel like a 'night out' version. Pineapple style is similar to 9pm Rebel, Supremacy Collector's Edition, Qaed al Fursan etc. but the plum and tangerine combined with it give it almost more of an opulent red fruitiness. Some BR540 hints maybe? Also pretty comparable to Tumi 19 Degree (Aventus/Tuscan Leather hybrid) and I think this is where the 'white powder' element hits, and alongside that reddish fruit combo it feels like there is a drop of Tuscan Leather in here. In summary, Aventus DNA as a night out/clubbing scent. Good stuff.

The initial opening can come across a bit spicy ( not sure why, as there is no notes listed to suggests this). The dry down however is gorgeous. Unisex but masculine leaning , true and realistic pineapple with loads of amber and patchouli in the dry down. It lasts and projects very well. Reminds me of absolu Aventus

Its an Absolu Aventus and if anyone tells u its Aventus (Please ignore him)! This is almost a 1:1 to Afnan SCE! Great Quality n Great Lasting n Sticking Power! If u have issues with SCE batches then buy Overdose!!! Its a great Alt to Absolu Aventus!!! Sticks to the body like anything!!!!

Having experienced the fragrance firsthand, I genuinely believe it has the potential to take the legacy created by Club De Nuit Intense Man to an entirely new level. It will be exciting to see how the market responds and how this next chapter unfolds.

Ok so I've got this today and everything I've read and heard about this is a lie lmao. This is 1:1 to Afnan SNOI. Literally 1 to fucking 1 except it's higher quality, the citrus is sharper and maybe the pineapple a little bit toned down. Well done Armaf for releasing Club De Nuit Not Only Intense Man lmao. Yo what's next? Club De Nuit Intense Man Supremacy Edition? This is so fucking funny because I've just traded my SNOI earlier today. I forgive them for this because I like the fragrance but holy shit man the absolute fucking guts on them to do such a thing lmao There you go guys, for all intents and purposes, you can consider this an Aventus + Hacivat dupe just like SNOI. Got my bottle today (07/07/26). As a superfan of the line, I was expecting big things but the reality is that, despite the promising opening, it drys down into yet another Absolu clone. That would be A-OK in my world if CDN Pecieux didn’t already exist but it does and that is a much more smokier, premium take on Absolu. If I had to rank it based on scent alone, I would put it third behind Precieux and Elixir. It’s definitely not as synthetic smelling as other CDNs in the range however. Performance wise, it’s excellent and up there other any of the others in the line - both in terms of projection and longevity. In summary, worth a punt if you don’t have Precieux, otherwise I would wait till that bottle runs out before buying this.

Someone said this is way too smoky. Wtf? This smells nothing like the original CDNIM. It's soft, sweet, fruity, and oakmoss-heavy, but the birch smokiness is almost completely gone. Performance is solid, lasting around 8 to 10 hours, but it doesn't project like the original. That makes sense, though, since it's an extrait and is meant to sit closer to the skin. I like it. It's much more mass appealing and actually wearable compared to the OG, which, to me, can smell like a chemical mess. Does it feel a bit redundant if you already own the other flankers? Yes. Is it the best one in the line if you don't want to smell like smoke? Also yes. 7/10 overall

Since I used to own Afnan Supremacy Collector's Edition, I can say that Overdose smells almost identical to its dry-down. With Afnan SCE, the opening is a little different before it settles, but Overdose smells like the dry-down of SCE from start to finish. I'd say it's a fairly one-dimensional fragrance, but it's still a great choice if you're a fan of Creed Absolu. I don't get any Creed Aventus or CDNIM vibes at all, so I'm not sure why people keep comparing it to those. The longevity is excellent, but personally, I'd recommend getting Afnan Supremacy Collector's Edition instead of Overdose.

This is not a clone of Afnan SCE and to me it's trying to be Hacivat and Aventus Absolu at the same time, like 65% Hacivat and 35% Absolu Aventus. Armaf straight up milking it. It is a bit fruitier up top, opens similar to Precieux I, kinda resembles SCE in the far opening but honestly to me it's not as smooth. Unless this thing matures over time, the plum and vanilla flower make absolutely no difference. The quality is not bad but if you don't have this scent profile and want it, just get Precieux I or SCE, otherwise if you have any of the Aventus or Hacivat inspos, skip this one.

I’m sorry I do love the fresher spin on the DNA but ...I have way too many Aventus flankers and as a result I think it’s waaay overpriced for the value/quality. It’s blended probably the smoothest of them all but hearing this was a 8-12 hr monster projecting scent is not true . I gave it multiple trial runs and i work in corporate..... just to give you some background. Take that as you may . Maybe it needs to mature but I literally timed how long M-F . Silly me for thinking that CDN would keep that same intensity...but This isn’t a monster projecter ... I got around 30-45 min mid projection ... on avg about 5 hrs then it becomes skintimate

Wayyyyy too smoky for me. Really cloying if you overspray this. It smell like Supremacy collector edition without the floral notes. Nice opening fruity and sweet but the moment it hit your skin it get really smoky. Extremely masculine more than Supremacy collector edition but then again SCE isnt my favorite scent neither. Guess absolu aventus isnt my thing. I prefer Aventus DNA more.

This is getting so damn boring that even collectors aren’t buying this stuff anymore. 😂 At this point, it’s literally just mountains of clones of clones of clones in the whole Aventus/Aventus Absolu-type scent category. I honestly don’t see anything new anymore. People are so sick of these fragrances that nobody wants to buy them, so they basically just pour one fragrance into another bottle, add some little twist to it, slap a new name on it and hope they can sell it before it ends up collecting dust on their shelves. I TRIED IT → Nothing special. I already have like 10 fragrances that smell pretty much the same. If you’re looking for your first fragrance in this style and literally don’t own anything like it, sure, go for it. But if you already have one Aventus-style fragrance, don’t waste your money on this one. There are way better options in this category.

On paper this smelled good but on skin it smelled like a straight up ashtray. I smelled like a pile of smoked cigarettes. Nope....not for me. It doesn't completely wash off either so I had to layer a sweet cologne over it to mellow the smell.

It opens up with Creed Aventus, then after couple of minutes turns into Creed Aventus Absolu, on the dry down after 10 minutes you smell Afnan 9PM Rebel

Thank you** Finally got the new Club de Nuit intense OVERDOSE after waiting almost a week for it to go down in price. It only went from $70 to $65... >.> Anyways hard to imagine that it's worth it at that price with million other affordable alternatives to the DNA and all its other twists that exist. Figure it's better if I take the bullet and tell you guys about it first and give the opportunity to try it before buying a full bottle if your hellbent on spending that money for the new CDNI. Let's compare first: I can compare this to TONS of other fragrances because of how many dupes I have of this DNA. Must be over 20 easily. TBH I've hardly worn the dupes of this DNA. I mostly have only ever worn CDNI intense the og, Vanguard and Supremacy NOI which I love. Vanguard feels like it's less peppery and smoky, smoother a little more tamed compared to the new CDNI. Vanguard has always been my favorite dupe to Aventus Absolu. So easy to wear and honestly really good quality. Supremacy NOI is also amazing. With that mossy twist it has, it feels so premium and high quality as well. This has been one of my fav versions of the Aventus DNA. CDN intense the Og has always had that strong smoky peppery pineapple going for it. This is one of the first clones that started this passion of mine with fragrances. It may feel like the least quality of the bunch, but in the air, it might be one the best smelling and biggest compliment magnets. This thing lasts and lasts, but most importantly it projects very far away. I can always tell when someone is wearing this particular dupe for the most part. It's a very common fragrance at this point here in Miami. Club de Nuit intense OVERDOSE feels like the wildest of the bunch. Literally feels like they overdose on the oils that make this fragrance. Extremely similar the OG CDNI intense. It's more earthy, smoky and peppery then the others. Feels like its more earthy then pineapple compared to the other two. It does feel like they overdid each ingredient in the OG and you can tell. It's harder to wear in my opinion, it makes it a little more unbalanced. I'm hoping with some maturing this turns into something beautiful that I'm just not getting right now. It is bolder, and richer if that's something that interests you more. Also it comes off as more sweeter. I like this part of the fragrance. My experience: They all have different openings, but as they dry down they all start to become more similar. The dry down to me is very similar to the others. Hard to say which one projects or lasts more without doing more tests. CDNI intense OVERDOSE projected for about 5 hours in super hot weather. And it lasted well over 15 hours on my cloths. I'll probably still smell it the next day. As usual monster performance. Conclusion: After wearing it, I can confirm it's not worth $70 or close to it. I suggest not running out to buy it because it's not going to blow anyone away compared to the other fragrances. It is a great fragrance there's just better alternatives at that price. CDNIOM is quite good, and it stands the furthest from the others in the line. The CDNIM harsh opening is gone for good, and the fruity blast on top is nose grabbing from the first second. Makes you think that they could have done this a few flankers ago, or that they are going to do it even better in the future, so why get this one? It's also too distant a relative to the Aventus family, closer to the Absolu but only as a vibe. This, in fact, is another fruity/spicy/woody/earthy DNA, the mighty Black XS from Rabanne, the date and clubbing king-to-be which was trampled by the 1 Millions and the Eros and others on its way to the hype mountain. Yep. That one. The citrus mix, just like in Black XS, creates a vague fruity top, that comes across as pineapple, strawberry, pear, tangerine, anything really, just a non-descript tart and sweet fruityness. Which combines with the woodiness and the amber to create an addicting masculine scent. Some of the CDN dna is still there in the base, more reminiscent of the precieux. But this is more of a Black XS inspiration than an Aventus one. Only thing that bothered me during wearing this, the patchouli is too leafy and a tad dirty for more than half an hour. It does not smell bad bad, but it is distracting. Hacivat X also ditches the birch/oakmoss for patchouli and suffers from the same problem. Performance is good, nothing spectacular, it can be worn anytime anywhere, apart from really hot days. Good one, but (HUGE BUT) someone in the same price bracket already revamped the DNA a few months ago and did it much better imo. Michael Kors Absolu is a modernized Black XS with akigalawood, which elevates the profile. Also, it is just smoother and more dimensional, and also has 12+ hour performance. Give my suggestion a shot before getting a bottle of this. Oh, I just wrote "give it a shot"... Hey Armaf, what's with the drug references? Combining the name overdose with notes of blue crystal and white powder? Please never do such a thing ever again, only people under 15 or over 60 will find it cool or edgy. You want the ages in between buying your stuff. Thank you.

If you are coming to Club de Nuit Intense Overdose hoping for the raw, dark, campfire birch smoke and heavy moss of the classic CDNIM EDT/Extrait, prepare for a shift. Armaf clearly designed Overdose to chase modern trends like Aventus Absolu. Out of the bottle, the harsh, synthetic citrus opening of the original is completely gone. Instead, it opens very juicy and fruity, with a heavy blast of pineapple and plum. As it dries down, the tonka bean and amber give it a rich, syrupy sweetness that stays dense on the skin for hours due to the Extrait concentration. Here’s the catch: The Pros: It is a massive crowd-pleaser. My wife loved it on me instantly and gave it immediate compliments. The performance and oil concentration are top-tier. The Cons: On its own, it’s just too sweet for my personal taste. It swaps out that rugged, dry, smoky backbone for modern sweetness. Up close, it lacks that classic CDNIM "smokey magic." Final Verdict: It’s a great release if you love sweet, fruity-amber Extrait profiles. But if you're a purist who loves the dark, smoky birch punch of older batches, Overdose might feel overly sweet as a standalone wear.

Yup - this is essentially in the same scent profile as SNOI, so there's no need to own both. Pick one or the other. If you already have SNOI, you can safely skip this unless you're simply looking for a backup bottle. In that case, you could choose this instead. If you don't own SNOI but were interested in that DNA, this is the better buy. There have been concerns about SNOI's performance following its reformulation, whereas Overdose is a brand-new release and is currently performing very well. If this is the scent profile you're after, buy Overdose now and skip SNOI altogether. One important thing to note: if you don't enjoy earthy, mossy chypre fragrances, avoid Overdose. Despite some comparisons, it's not a bright or fruity fragrance in any meaningful way. It smells nothing like 9PM Rebel, and it's also quite different from Supremacy Collector's Edition. If you're after something fresher, fruitier, and more youthful, those two would be much better choices.

Club de Nuit OUD Overdose – 9/10 This fragrance really surprised me. It opens with a strong burst that feels rich and luxurious, but after 15–20 minutes it settles into a smooth, woody scent with a touch of sweetness. The oud is present but not overpowering or overly medicinal, making it much easier to wear than many oud fragrances. Performance is excellent on my skin, lasting well over 8 hours with strong projection for the first couple of hours. It smells far more expensive than it is and has a unique character that stands out without being overwhelming. Best suited for evenings, cooler weather, or when you want something bold and confident. It may not be a safe blind buy if you don’t enjoy woody or oud-based fragrances, but if you do, this offers fantastic value for money. Pros: Great longevity, strong projection, high-quality scent, excellent value. Cons: The opening can be a little intense, so give it time to develop. Overall, I’d happily buy it again.

Mine arrived today . I am not expert anything In the past I had - edt - edp - limited - extrait in addition to that I had afnan snoi. First sprayed directly made me say this snoi maybe not 1:1 but immediately you get that Snoi was my one of favorite so happy with purchase . I was not expecting exactly another cdnm vibes Haven’t tested more then 2 hour yes but it’s seems like this is in the realm of snoi . If you like that you will also like thsi If you just expecting pineapple and smoke this may not be what looking for Performance seems to be good and loud ( at least for now ) Note : considering someone looking snoi but don’t want to deal with batch issues can look at this It’s just my amateur opinion .

If this is really just a promised overdose of CDN Intense Man, then it should be very popular. But that emphasis on powder, in the notes and main accords, makes it look like it is going in a different direction, away from the other CDN flankers, and also away from Creed's Adventus line with which they are often compared. Of course, it's quite likely that powder note doesn't really translate into anything in the actual scent. On the Armaf website, that powder note is literally called 'white powder', a not so subtle callback to the 'Overdose' in the name. If anyone finds that in bad taste, just remember the Old Guard did that before too, ...with YSL Opium and Dior Addict.

Okay guys, hear me out. I blind bought this perfume not because of the exclusive launch event or the hype they built around it on social media, but because I came across an article that genuinely caught my attention. Here's my honest review. To me, this smells very similar to Club De Nuit Intense Man, it's like CDN Intense Man on steroids. It's richer, bolder, and has a much stronger presence. But the real question is: Would I wear this every day? My answer is NO This isn't an everyday fragrance for me. It's the one I'd reach for when I'm heading out for dinner or when I want to leave an impression. If you're expecting a daily dumb reach, this probably isn't it.

It is primarily inspired by Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense, Paco Rabanne Black XS, and Creed Aventus. However, that's actually its biggest strength—it takes the best qualities of each fragrance and blends them into one exceptionally well-crafted composition. The result is Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Overdose. The scent is fruity, rich, dense, and fresh at the same time, with every note perfectly balanced and seamlessly blended. This fragrance DNA is incredibly appealing to those around you and leaves a beautiful scent trail. It smells absolutely magical in the air, with excellent projection and a captivating presence. Highly recommended—an easy 10/10.

First day review without any maturation: At first it has that iconic CDNIM DNA bergamot scent, after few seconds it develops into this CDNIM with added sweet plum, tangerine....and maybe that "blue freshness" from blue crystals? After an hour or two it calms down into this citrusy oakmos and amber...not sure if I'm detecting any "white powder". Overall I think it's leaning a bit toward "cousin of absolu" style of fragrance with added sweetness. A bit disappointed as I expected something more but I'll let it mature for a month or two and will come back.

I'm gonna get naked if they don't do an aventus C O L O G N E inspo. We don't need any more twists of aventus/aventus absolu. PLEASE, if you have to work on that dna at least do aventus cologne. Only bujairami has done that for now ffs. This is in vein of hawas black, afnan snoi, khadlaj infini absolute, anfar aestehtic edition Opens oakmossy and red fruity. I was hoping for it to be like EDP but even better, luckily i bought just a sample. I love CDNIMs smoky citrus, but theres none of that. I had like 10 edts, 1edp, 5-6pp, 3-4limited. This is the worst CDNIM right now for me. Edit: this is Armafs take on Afnan SNOI, they made it even stronger and higher quality.

Really enjoying this version. The extra sweetness, candied fruits and vanilla really smell good here. My favourite is Limited Edition, but this isn’t far behind. I’ve been wearing this quite a lot recently and the longevity and performance are great. It projects more the hotter you get. I have a feeling it will mature well too.

Clone of a clone. It smells like Afnan Supremacy Collector's Edition, which smells like a fresher/muskier Absolu Aventus. Does not smell like Hacivat or the original Supremacy Intense. Those two are oakmoss heavy, so they smell very "dampy n green."

Hey guys I have a question. I have Afnan SCE was my second ever fragrance and I love it. I thinking of get Club de Nuit extrait de parfum and CDN Prexcuix. Im also interested in CDN Overdose, but I want to know how redundant it is to get all three?

Don’t waste your money if you have any of the other Club De Nuit Intense Man’s. At this point Armaf is just making fun of the fragrance community, and the uninformed consumer.

They added the blue crystal and white powder just to create a buzz around this scent because all other scents go unnoticed, and they're not really into this perfume lately.

This smells identical to Explorer Extreme and Supremacy Collectors Edition. Like those two, I hate the opening, but love the powdery dry down. Smells incredible in the air.

The fragrance was as per my expectations to be honest - liked the boldness of the opening, and the woodiness of the dry down. Will be wearing for special night occasions
