Club De Nuit Intense Woman Perfume Oil

I am clearly very late to the Club! I spent a lot of time yesterday listening to yet more perfume review channels on a Bank Holiday Monday, and being the impatient person I am, ordered a bottle straight from Amazon (Next Day) and I am sitting here with it "on". Now I grew up in the 80s/90s and you're talking to a woman who wasn't afraid of Poison.... and the power bomb of the original Colours by Benneton and the original Gucci Rush (BIg Sexual Party Bomb in its original formulation) and for a touch of class, Ferre by Ferre (Gianfranco Ferrre), these were my "I've Arrived!" Fumes and they were also quite complex, had a lot of ingredients and they'd wipe the floor with most modern perfumes today. This isn't one of the above BUT.. it's quite refined, like dark velvet, chocolates and roses, a little spicy but not in your face. There's thankfully no Oud train in here either... I am shocked at how well done this £20 perfume from Amazon is performing, nothing skanky here, it's actually rather classy, refined, it's old school but in a very lovely way. I think you could easily layer this over a rose body cream and it would "do it's thing!" and I think...if you like Narcisso Rodriguez for Women (Pink Carton, Black Bottle), Juliette Has a Gun "Lady Vengeance" and some of the most jammy rose variants, then this is for you. I'd wear this all year, I'd have no problem parading this around in the sultry heat, I bet this goes Beast Mode in the heat !!! as I love those jammy rose fumes pumping at high volume and it would smell very pretty and sexy in the Winter too, sprayed onto your soft cashmere jumpers. I'd even enjoy it as a bed perfume but one spritz worth on the duvet, so that every time the duvet plumps up the perfume wafts over me in a slightly indolic and carnal way. For £20 and a bazillion positive reviews, as a rose lover, and lover of well blended timeless smells, you really can't go wrong 😉

Very similar to Tom Ford's Noir de Noir, ~90%. Really good for a dupe, if not as its own fragrance. Compared to NdN, this version is: more earthy in the opening, and more incense-like/grassy/herbal in the dry down. The key notes of rose and patchouli are spot on and prominent. Although, this lacks body because of the pared down chocolate and vanilla notes. This is NdN's slimmer twin; both make a gothic, rosy pair. As for the name "Intense Woman," this scent will evoke an intensity that no one will know nor care about gender ;)

Wow! If you want a fragrance that will make a statement THIS is your girl. She's a deep, musky, floral with a little sweetness. Sillage is HUGE. My mum smelt me in her house for hours after I left..Definately don't overspray this one as it's super strong. Beautiful, sexy and seductive scent. I will keep her my collection for nights out.

I like it once the initial scent of gasoline calms down. Still leans slightly unisex and requires a sweet and/or creamy spice blend applied beforehand to soften the blow. If you’re like me and dislike the slightest hint of ‘unisex anything’ then you will not be happy with this unless you sweeten it up at the base or top layer.

Wow!!. I am not easily impressed trust me this 95% similar to noir de noir. Sexy compliment getter. Men can totally rock this. Just one thing I don’t like on this is that there is an incense note after couple of hours. Other than that if you love to smell sexy this is the one.

i haven’t tried noir de noir yet but this smells like black orchid to me, very dark and mysterious, seductive, smoky yet sweet

Hmmm. I really enjoyed the spray version but always thought of it as a “diet” version of NdN by Tom Ford. Thought the oil would solve this problem but unfortunately it made it worse. The diet quality is more apparent and isn’t near as lush. It does settle in after a few hours but that metallic diet harshness remains for a while. Disappointing. Just buy NdN or get the spray of this one.

I loved the opening but then it started to smell like charcoal bakoor, with some rose. It softens quickly from the initial spray. I do like it however as it smells like none of my other frags.

Definitely mature women's scent. As a 23 years old I can't rock it. And I don't want to - it's too mature, too dark (not In a good way) and off-putting. I don't like it, neither my boyfriend does.

@Aquapinkmoon I think she was getting Club De Nuit Woman mixed up with Club De Nuit Intense Woman - paying attention to the name and perfume bottle matters! The two perfumes are completely different, looking at the notes, name and packaging. And it’s Club de Nuit Woman (the clear bottle one with the pink juice), not this one, that is supposedly a dupe of Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle.

I don’t get it? This isn’t a Chanel dupe at all? This is a beautiful spicy rose with a creamy rose and vanilla dry down. This is a showstopper in the best way possible, it’s a beast mode feminine fragrance that is sexy and powerful, it’s better then many niche and designer I’ve tried and amazing quality. Don’t believe the bad reviews they’re nuts

I found this to be a useful layering scent. Try combining this somewhat bittersweet rose with a jammy-sweet, rose-lychee-raspberry concoction. (There are many options available). The result becomes a more deeply structured rose scent. Still sweet-leaning, but more balanced.

Very gothic, haunting fragrance. I don’t know if I’d wear this out of the house, but I’ll wear this at night in bed and listen to dark vampire music on my headphones.
