Club de Nuit Oud

I'll give my honest opinion: I'm extremely critical when it comes to perfumes. Club de Nuit Oud is, without a doubt, one of the most intense, commanding, and challenging fragrances that has ever been part of my collection. This is definitely not a fragrance for those who prefer subtlety. It's incredibly powerful, sweet, and expansive—made for people who truly appreciate bold scents with an almost overwhelming presence. The opening is an absolute explosion of fruit. Peach, pear, passion fruit, pineapple, plum, and bergamot come together to create an intensely tropical, sweet "fruit salad." At times, it's even difficult to distinguish each fruit individually because of how powerful the combination is, although certain nuances can still be identified. Interestingly, many people who have smelled this fragrance on me immediately pointed out the passion fruit note. The true protagonist of the fragrance, however, is the oud. And here, it makes absolutely no attempt to hide. It's strong, pungent, animalic, and present from the opening all the way to the base. It's practically an olfactory punch to the nose. The musk, combined with the oud, creates a dirty, animalic, unmistakably Middle Eastern character that may be fascinating to some and excessive to others. As it develops on the skin, the fragrance takes on a subtly powdery and creamy quality thanks to the cashmere wood, while the vanilla and amber crystal add an intensely sweet, caramelized touch that remains present almost from beginning to end. The performance is nothing short of absurd. This is a fragrance that effortlessly fills rooms, hallways, and entire spaces. Honestly, I find it very difficult to wear in enclosed environments or more delicate situations. The projection feels almost endless: even hours later, people still comment that they can smell it lingering in the air. On my skin, it easily lasts well beyond 24 hours. On clothing, it's even more impressive—even after two or three washes, the scent remains noticeable. The reactions I received while wearing it were incredibly divided, which I think is perfectly understandable for such an extreme fragrance. About half of my friends complained that the intensity was excessive, while the other half absolutely loved it. One particularly amusing experience happened during a visit to the doctor: two nurses commented that I smelled somewhat like insulin, while others simply said the fragrance was extremely strong, yet very pleasant. And I think that's precisely the point of this fragrance: the issue isn't the scent itself—because within its intended style, it's actually quite enjoyable—but rather just how pungent, expansive, and dominant it manages to be. I bought this fragrance blind, something I honestly wouldn't recommend. Despite its outstanding quality and the incredibly luxurious experience it delivers, it isn't inexpensive by Arabic fragrance standards, and it's definitely not an easy or versatile scent. The presentation deserves special recognition. The fragrance comes inside a suede pouch and is housed in an elegant presentation box with a top-opening lid and a small internal mirror reflecting the brand's name. The bottle follows the traditional Club de Nuit design, but the cap is particularly striking: heavy, solid, and finished in a material that resembles light stone or yellowish marble. Olfactorily, it radiates pure Middle Eastern luxury. I can easily imagine a Dubai duke—or someone from the highest circles of the Middle Eastern elite—wearing this fragrance. It embodies the Arab world completely, from its intense oud to the unapologetic opulence that this style of perfumery represents so well. Although I fully recognize the fragrance's quality, power, and personality, I honestly wouldn't buy it again once I finish the bottle—though I doubt that will happen anytime soon, since only a few sprays are more than enough. It deserves a solid 9/10.

I made a conscious effort to make sure all the comments, reviews and noise swirling around Armaf's Club de Nuit Oud would not cloud my response to this perfume... And opened my box, my bottle of it today for the first time and gave it a good go, a good run. LOVE love love...❤️😍❤️💕💋😘 Man, it is beautiful, uplifting, fun, classy and also incredibly balanced and poised. The fragrance is made up of 3 parts that move almost seamlessly one into the other: Firstly, there is a gorgeous strong scattering of light but tenacious, fruity essences of peach, pineapple, plum, pear and passionfruit before the bergamot comes knocking.. Looking at these names one would like to say Erba pura clone.. but, no, this frag is doing its own thing from the get go. The notes are light footed and don't weigh down or hit with a sledge hammer although they do float in the air for a long time and stay present for longer. The next phase which overlaps these fruity top notes but does not eclipse them is woody, comforting, floral, and sneaks up on you quite clearly but so stylishly : the jasmine, violet leaf and other white flowers add their heady notes to the mix. Somehow, CDN Oud manages to maintain this fruit-Flower profile without being overly sweet... Individual flowers are allowed to bloom without ever becoming cloying. Then the 3rd phase enters perhaps 30 to 45 minutes in and that is when a dusting of white musk, an amber accord atop a smooth vanilla presents itself. And it is now that I get the sweet Cambodian Oud making its presence faintly felt.. It is not skanky, nor forward but a constant cloudy component that never disappears although it fades in and fades out continuously from this moment on. And these 3 parts of CDN Oud rotate with one another, play a dynamic peek-a-boo with each other again and again in my nose for the considerable life of this tenacious fragrance. Fruits, not overly sweet ~ Woods, Jasmine, White flowers,metallic Violet leaf (again not that sweet)~ White musk, Amber accord, Vanilla and Cambodian Oud and back again. Delicious, composed, quite heavenly I get a good 6 to 10 hours on skin depending on the temperature and humidity and on clothes, a shimmering day after life span. I am in awe, especially as nothing screams in this frag, nothing suggests beast mode... till you realise it has lasted the whole day and more with you. It is definitely something an assured man, young or otherwise can wear. It is definitely something a self-confident woman will wear. And anyone in between. It somehow manages to last forever and project yet smell natural, unforced and expensive... Nez Christian Provenzano has crafted one hell of a frag for us to use and enjoy and I'm going to do just that. It's now going to be my main driver... I'm besotted *Update*.. Actually once I recognised the Oud in the basenotes I'm picking it up right from the start of the fragrance... Quite startling once I notice it... The Cambodian Oud is there ... wow.... Masterpiece

This opens like I'm eating a juicy mix of ripe pear and passion fruit slices — drippy, sweet, and refreshing. It has a slight shampoo vibe, giving it a light and airy feel that floats through the air rather than clinging to the skin. This is a fruity fragrance for the first few hours. It's juicy with green undertones and a soft sweetness. I found myself getting noseblind to this very fast but it last well on skin and even better on clothes. I’ve heard it’s a clone of Erba Pura, but I haven’t smelled that one, so I can’t compare directly. The dry down shifts into a warmer, more woody scent. I can’t tell if it’s the oud, cashmere, or both doing the heavy lifting, but there’s a definite woody depth and warmth that takes over. I really enjoy the drydown but I've had people tell me I smell like burnt tires or leather, while others said they don't get that at all and even tell me I smell good. Season-wise, I think this leans spring and summer thanks to how fruit-dominant and light it is early on. But that warm, wood-heavy dry down gives it enough edge to carry into fall and winter too.

Don't be fooled by the profile, it's not fruity and floral at all, those notes only added to the body, they are there but they are not the stars of the show. From top to mid to bottom notes, first sprayed or hours later, doesn't matter if you smell it closely or just passing by, the whole thing is full of woody notes, a whole blast of Oud, Amber and Musk in your face. It's a strong one, just not that strong since it's dark but also bottomly sweet. It's Unisex but leaning more toward men on clothes and leaning toward women on skin. Could be worn in any weather and time but best in cold/chilly weather and at night time. Lasting and projecting is surprisingly good, I put it on a jacket, wore it the day before, went home, hung it up, the next day I wear it out to dinner, the girl sitting in the table behind me could still notice it. Oh and it came in a nice bottle and box too. Definitely recommended it if you like a strong, dark and mildly sweet Oud, Musk and Amber combo, especially at its price.

Best by ARMAF. Perfectly blended. Quick story: in 2023, my brother got gifted something with 99% similarity to this in all phases. Unfortunately it’s been out of stock for the longest. I finally went to their store to confirm whether it was available, and if not, when it will be (it was out of stock). I was a bit let down with the other recommendations the salesperson had, kind of meh or overpriced... I was this close to getting CDN Iconic—albeit extremely reluctantly and disappointingly, when I asked for a final recommendation before I paid. Quite unsure, she reached out for CDN Oud, sprayed on the strip, and as soon as it hit my nose, I said “GIMME THAT... NOW” lol. Bottom line, this is a beautiful one, definitely not for everybody. Compliment getter, though; not blind but safe. PS: I’m glad this is polarizing so it gets to be properly gate-kept lol. Edit: I do get the diesel undertone in the far dry down that turns people off. Not me, though.

An Erba Pura style clone from Armaf but this one has an extra bit of woodiness from the added Oud. In true Armaf fashion, Let me tell you, this fragrance is an absolute BEAST! Sillage and projection are crazy, I sprayed this at 8am and my partner could smell me from almost 10m away at 3pm!! I showered later and it’s still there! Sprayed on my jacket, over a week later and I can still smell it. I’ve had a few Erba Pura clones now and Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold has always been my favourite, this one however knocks it out the park! It’s like a sweet tropical Oud bomb and Beware, it’s sickly sweet, only buy if you like Erba Pura style fragrances. Be prepared to get noticed wearing this because once it’s on you are never getting away from it!! 🤣 Weldone Armaf, packaging is beautiful and I am fully embracing the crouton cap! 🙌🏻

This is the best Armaf release imo (yes, even better than CDN Intense). I get the Erba Pura references but that's really selling this fragrance short. If Erba Pura and Oud Maracuja had a baby with Ombre Nomad it'd be Club de Nuit Oud. This is sweet but not overly sweet, a bit musky and ambery, with some oud to balance it all out. Beast projection; literally the type of fragrance that makes an entrance before you do and leaves a trail long after you've left. It's a showstopper and a compliment magnet. We can poke fun at the limestone cruton for a cap, but the packaging this comes with in its entirety is also extremely impressive. Lastly, I completely agree with @TexasOG's comment that most surprisingly for a fragrance at this price point is to NOT smell synthetic. A BIG love for me!

This by far is the best by Armaf. it looks expensive at 360 AED almsot 100 USD. But even at this price you must get it. It is Erba Pura style fragrance. 4 sprays are good to go. It took around 3 weeks before I could get its full potential. A must have in your collection. Sillage and projection is noticable and better than those expensive designer perfumes. Ideal scenario to wear this would be a wedding event or a night time party, where you can go a bit heavy on spray. Update: 14-05-2024 Really surprised to see some reviews, either some people dont use nose to smell the fragrance or brain while commenting about it. After 3 months of use, I can confirm again that this is by far the best ARMAF. It is pleasant, performs well, unisex (a bit towards feminine side in start only).

My husband collects perfumes and this is my favourite of his. The sillage and strength is extremely strong but it is not harsh. The scent is complex but extremely comforting. It is not FRUITY. It smells so good. Ignore the first 15 mins. The first 15 minutes do not smell the best. Once it gets past that and gets warm, IT IS SO GOOD. This is not a unisex smell to me. Definitely suitable for men. To be honest, I bought it for him because I passed by a guy at a mall and the scent was so good I knew my husband would love it. And true enough, he wears it all the time now. It is extemely extremely comforting. It smells like reliability and strength and amber and feels like you're sitting by a campfire with the best smelling oud.

It appears that most of the people in this comment section have either never smelled Club De Nuit Oud or Erba Pura. Erba Pura is a fruit basket which is very juicy and aldehydic. But, Club de Nuit Oud is nothing like it. It is laden with fruits, no doubt, but then there is also a great portion of it which is very Oudy and also creamy- a borderline gourmand scent if you ask me. I like these kinds of unique scents, which are like a see-saw, sometimes the fruits dominate, sometimes the oud... but we get the creamy gourmand warmth all around. One of my favourite scents. Bottle glimmer, stone cap and a fantastic atomiser (which does tend to malfunction if not used properly, so be careful) I give it a solid 8.75/10

I love it. The fruity blast in the opening is addictive. It does lean feminine at the start, but as it dries down, it changes into a more masculine fragrance. The bottle presentation is gorgeous. The oud element is mostly missing throughout the dry-down and base notes. Maybe 10–20% oud present, in my opinion. This was a blind buy for me, but I am not disappointed at all. The cap doesn't bother me; I feel the cap makes it more unique and makes it stand out. This may be the first real review of this perfume here. Hope you guys get to enjoy it too. Cheers.

The reviews on this bombed and I’m glad cos we get to gatekeep it. Contrary to popular belief, this very masculine take on the Erba Pura DNA is so amazing and gets me guaranteed compliments every time. The sweet passion fruit, plum and vanilla opening dries down to a deep very diffusive and detectable Cambodian Oud-Amber-Musk combination. Such a strong masculine dry down, the strongest Club De Nuit there is. Trust me you can smell the Cambodian Oud, it’s a sophisticated and amazing fragrance.

CDN Oud is a bold, fruity, and oudy fragrance with outstanding projection and longevity. It starts with a sweet, juicy opening, that evolves into a musky-vanilla base with a touch of oud, that I can smell coming discretely through the juicy fruitiness. This is a Laotian oud accord (I doubt it's real oud), that it's very restrained and classy. Apparently this smells like Erba Pura, but not having smelled that, I can't compare. It's definitely good value for the money. 👍👍👍

I agree with oldspice review. That funky baryard type smells. It give you slight reminding of poop. But its there only for a few second right after you spray it on yourself... it's faded away very fast. Then other notes start comes in and do it's job. I love this. However, i wouldn't wear this as daily driver. And if they released 50ml bottle, I'll buy the 50 ml instead of 100ml bottle..

just got this from random dude on 2nd hand market that is new package and not used. this is like hidden gem. fruity bomb and very long lasting. delicious and pleasing. to me, it's more female 60% male 40% type of unisex perfume but it is totally okay for man to wear it. little bit of gasoline smell like of aromatic but I love it! would recommend 100/100 👌

This perfume is underrated. It's a beast mode perfume. It lingers on your skin like forever. You spray it in the morning before work and it still lingers on your skin after work till you take a shower. You can perceive it on your cloth for days. Personally, it's the best perfume I have used and it's a compliment magnet.

I just got this. It’s not quite an Erba Pura clone but in the same scent family. Very well blended.. no alcohol blast here. No oud until the dry down but not animalistic. It’s strong, so be careful with the sprays. Perfectly unisex, leans a bit feminine in the opening but quickly turns unisex. It’s very pleasant.

This fragrance is exactly why I don’t invest in dupe fragrances and clones..... low quality, screechy and synthetic .... You get what you pay for most times . Can’t believe I’m saying this about club de nuit either cause they’re my favorite middle eastern brand . This one missed the mark , to me at least .

Got mine for 67 if u minus shipping this us great for longevity sillage is beastly perfectly unisex.... worth every penny the cap does look weird, but the fragrance and the bottle are masterpieces it really does last 24 hours crazy thing is I expected this to be way too sweet but it's worth the hype

Fruity floral. Very nice if a bit synthetic at times. Really reminds me of Oud Maracuja but not as powerful. So many fruity floral scents around so this would certainly be close to quite a few for sure. But for this price its a dumb reach for me.

Comes right out of the box as a heavy hitter. Smells great, projects and lasts on a few sprays. It's a clone, so I've put it away for a few weeks or longer. I'm going to let it grow and see what it turns into.

This is a combination of Erba Pura and Creed Imperiale together. A great summer scent. It last on the skin for about 6 hours and then you need to touch up!

This is only my 2nd wearing, and both days it's been cold (30°F -50°F). A great cold weather fragrance. I couldn't imagine wearing this during a Houston summer where it's 90°F+ with 60-90% humidity. This would put you and anyone around you in a group headlock and choke the shit out of everyone!! This is a totally different smell and not what I was expecting. Not that it's repulsive or spectacular, it's just...different. Definitely not a "blind buy with high expectations of it smelling like you think it's supposed to" sort of fragrance. However, the price is cheap enough to not even worry about it either way. I definitely get the "petrol", diesel-like scent, but it has an effect on the olfactory receptors, where you think you're smelling petrol, then it's a smooth medicinal oud, then you're looking around for the wet & muddy sow that climbed up into your sinuses. All the while staying very fruity. It's all juxtaposing, firing off all the receptors and can be somewhat of a sensory overload, but still nice. I definitely like it and and do recommend it for anyone who wants to try something a little different. I haven't worn it out into public, but the wife was like, "MEH.. You have better", kind of attitude about it, neither living nor disliking it. I will be wearing it during the short winter we have here in Houston, then It'll sit on the shelf waiting for the next 3 week winter next year.

I've had my bottle for about two months and at first just thought it was another CDN clone, this time of Erba Pura but probably the most refined, smooth version of a clone I've come across. Longevity was already impressive when first purchased but after allowing my bottle to mature, it's now the strongest fragrance in my collection. A true BEAST. The oud note didn't come across to me as loudly as first but oh boy, it's there now. Very intense. I was hoping to wear this for summer evenings but it's gonna have to wait until very cold days. If you like sweet, fruity, musky strong perfumes, I recommend but go easy with this one. Also, the packing and presentation on this one is lovely. Came in a sort of faux mother of pearl box and chocolate velvet dust bag. Funny story: I live in a small apartment complex and one day two weeks ago someone brought something through the communal hallway that left it smelling like death. My unit is the closest to that space, and it was coming into my apartment so I took my CDN Oud and sprayed a few pumps into the hallway...it's never going away. I can overhear all the comments about the "new not so deathly smell" as my neighbors come and go 😅 Polarizing but an improvement for sure!

This right here is an experience, from the packaging to the juice itself. Truly such a polarizing scent with intense and mass appealing performance. One spray of this will last you 12+ hours ... I sprayed this on my wrist 2 days ago and I can still smell the subtle remainder of this perfume oil. Update: Okay, so I folded and bought myself the bottle. Idk but I think I have to let mine sit for a while because I wore it out once and I felt nauseous from the scent. Something about it wasn’t entirely the same as my initial experience.

I just received my bottle. The presentation is actually pretty nice. Nicer quality bottle than usual. From first sniff on paper, it's definitely in the Erba Pura Style. As it dries you get the Cambodian Oud (the more pleasant Oud) coming out. Sweetness tones way down and it becomes a very Masculine. Reminds me a little of Xerjoff Alexandria II. Overall, it seems like it projects pretty well. The surprising thing to me is that it doesn't smell synthetic.

does not live up to erba gold, but it is nice! idk what the rest are talking about saying its vomit inducing but it is a pleasant scent. The scent is quite feminine for my taste but on a hot day i believe it will be nice. The fresh scent is very fruity, almost like a body wash, but the dry down is woody and fruity at the same time. I bought it blind and for the price i'm not disappointed.

No doubt a love it or hate it scent since it is unisex. Glad it has mostly a fruity than floral aroma (at least the ones from newer batch I got). It seems that some notes aren’t meshing well with others for me and would have to combine with a fruit frag, 2:1 ratio. Was really hoping it leaned more into the wood notes. A solid 3/5 since I would enjoy it more for my wife.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants to start with ouds. The oud isn't too deep or too heavy or to Smokey. In fact it is quite a fruity smell with some light wood accords.

Blind bought this the opening initial spray is a HATE but that quickly fades as the sweet notes creep in...it’s def all in the dry down IF you have the patience to wait

Love the start very much, but cant stand the drydown at all. Its just pure petrol on me.

I'm very inclined to share my opinion on this fragrance as a blind buy. I was very excited about the note breakdown on this one. However, this ended up being one of my most upsetting blind buys in my 50+ scent collection. It does have its perks though. Pros: 1. Beast mode fragrance. Seriously this thing projects like a monster. Hard to shower this stuff off. 2. Packaging is very nice, especially for Armaf. Cons: 1. Little to no oud on this one. 2. My nose picks up this nauseating smell that I can only describe as a rubbery(almost latex) kind of smell. If I was to sum this scent up I would say its most comparable to a feminine lotion. This is not a safe blind buy. That being said, there are people who enjoy this cologne, just be warned that it walks a fine unisex line and is quite polarizing.

Smells just like any Erba Pura Dupe, with the exception that this one has Oud. Yes, the Oud is noticeable on this one, in the opening, but fades after a little while. Good scent, but you can get Ana Abiyedh or Amber Oud Gold for way cheaper. The cons here are that newer batches (the ones that come with the brown dustbag, not the tan one) have been watered down. This Club de Nuit has horrible performance. You get about 1hr of Arm's length Projection, and after that it becomes a faint skin scent. Kind of bummed out, because that Oud note that was added was great and makes it a bit more masculine, but the performance ruined it.

Osobiście nie mogę tego nosić jedno psiknięcie wypełnia cały pokój. Na skórze utrzymuje się bardzo długo i cieżko to zmyć nie wspominając juz o ubraniach. Zapach zalatuje trochę spalenizną i typowym takim chamskim arabem. Podchodziłem kilka razy do niego wchodząc jedynie w mgiełkę psikniętego 1 raz w powietrze perfumu lecz mimo to moim zdaniem nie noszalne, nie można przyzwyczaić się do niego by podczas noszenia przez użytkownika nie był on zauważalny. Tylko dla ekstremalnych wielbicieli.

I like it, although it's not what I expected. The people at home smell like gasoline. Nothing, gasoline is an expensive and luxurious product. 😆 I have Kirke and Gold Edition from Al Haramain, I wanted this one too - I have it, but the gasoline drowns out all the sweetness of the Erba cigar, although it is felt, it is there, but dipped in gasoline, I am disappointed. If this is supposed to be oud - it is not, it is gasoline. And it lasts forever.

Boss: we need an idea for perfume Employee: why dont we make a perfume which is exactly like a typical shampoo, BUT name it OUD? Boss: brilliant! you are promoted! DO IT! And that ladies and gentlemen, is how this perfume came into being. The worst of all the CDN releases.

There are better Erba Pura clones that smell better and cost less. It has a latex smell that I can't get over.

Bought this blindly in May and hated it deeply and passionately. Latex, diesel, oily rubber... with just a tiny hint of tropical fruit in the background. I’ve probably sprayed out 8-10 mL between retests and letting it sit for a while and trying again, and still very little love. It’s now late August and this is becoming a “maybe?” Now I get all the fruits at the beginning and they smell really good, even if it’s very sweet and a bit heavy. Then, I get some of what I assume is the cashmere and musk and it’s all kinda nice, and then... something else... that’s vaguely “rubber tire.” Picture a freshly cut bowl of tropical fruit on a clean buffet with a man in a light cashmere sweater serving himself some of that delicious fruit. Then, the front door of the restaurant opens and you smell someone doing burnouts in the parking lot. 🤣 I have nothing else to do with it but sit it on a shelf and see what happens, so... 🤷🏼 EDIT (20Apr25): Opened it last night just for kicks, one spray... and now it’s Band-Aids. I’m not even kidding; I wish I were. Band-Aids. Maybe this is magic for other folks, but for me, this is a no in a thousand different ways

ok. now i bought this but the old batch codes were really long lasting. unfortunately i got a new batch code (new brown velvet bag) its performance is terrible. it only lasts 5-6 hours and the spread is very bad. i have al harmain amber oud and erba puram and if i were to choose one between them i would definitely choose al harmain amber oud in terms of longevity and spread. cdn oud is very nice in terms of scent, it has a rich and oud scent, at first i only smelled rubber and then it went away. but the performance ruined everything.

Overly sweet, it just seems like they decided to throw every citrus fruit under the sun into this and hoped it would smell good. I only could wear it twice before having to completely give up on it. I would get headaches from how intense it was, even with only 3 sprays one time. Everyone around me the two times I wore it all agreed that there was nothing pleasant about the fragrance. I would ultimately stay away from this cologne not only for the price point being the most expensive CDN, but it's also simply not good.

I live the cdn fragrance line but the cdn oud is a no for me. I should have known when I got the bottle and the chain came broken. But I gave it a chance and it's a no for me. I don't get a fruity smell at all. The oud in this one is an absolute no. I can't with this one
