Craze Noir

Safe blind buy very nice longevity and decent performance. Smells clean,manly and kind of fresh. 99% PDM Pegasus!!! Can be worn any time of the Year Recommended because its literally Pegasus in a bottle

Bought this one in error thinking it was the original Craze. Not a bad EDP. Beware: Like most Armaf scents, avoid pushing your nose into the opening. It’s pungent and it can assault the nostrils. Leave a few minutes before giving it a good inhale. The dry down is dark and smoky. On my skin, I get plenty of almond and vanilla with a blast of lavender. When the base kicks in around the 30 mins mark, you appreciate the woody vibe. Limit yourself to 2-3 sprays absolute tops, because this is strong. For the price, it’s a steal. Probably best worn in the colder months. Evenings, for sure.

Smells similar to Lacoste Noir (black) ! Lacoste noir is fruity and better to use on warm weather, Craze Noir is a darker version!

I originally posted this on the Craze page since Noir hadn't shown up in the database yet. I don't wear it often but that's more due to having found so many others I like more in colder weather. It's an enjoyable, fruitier, and a bit more spiced up take on Craze and, IMO, lacks the sharp almond note of Craze. Fruit? Well, that's how my nose perceives it at least. Original review: I'll try to explain Craze Noir but bear in mind I don't have a great nose for this stuff. First, this is from FragranceX: "Armaf Craze Noir is a masculine cologne introduced by Armaf . This fragrance combines daring ingredients to create an intoxicating aroma that many will fall in love with. The scent starts out with a quick glimpse into the complexity of the cologne with notes of bitter-sour cumin, tart bergamot and vanilla-like heliotrope. As the heart blends into the top notes, the fragrance builds to include succulent almond, sweet jasmine, savory sage and fresh lavender. By the time the base notes make their appearance, the warmth and earthiness are a welcome aroma. The base notes include sweet amber, comforting vanilla and woody sandalwood." So, this is very strong. LIke, super sillage and projection (at least to me). I put it on before I went to bed and I could have skipped spraying it the next morning kind of strong. 2 sprays or less or you'll be choking. I do smell Craze in this but the sweetness is toned down a lot. I get a big citrus burst in the opening followed by spiciness. Honestly, this I would call a grown up or mature Craze. I like it. The vanilla and almond are still there but take a backseat to the citrus, spice, and lavender until a couple of hours after dry down and then they become more noticeable. They're always there but not featured like Craze. Noir fits as it is much darker than Craze. In short, this is a totally different animal from Craze. Really very, very different. I do like it but not as much as the regular Craze. There is absolutely no guarantee that you'll like this even if you like Craze...It's that different.

Not the best from armaf, was expecting much better. Poor projection and longevity. The actual smell is just OK, just a clean out the shower smell..

The house of Armaf continues to stun me with this beautiful and alluring scent. I will not bore you with a pretentious read about it’s make up, whether it’s chemical or not and so on but i will just say that this could,easily, be thought of and perceived as a niche fragrance. I have only had it a week and i habve found myself looking at my collection and using this. Maybe because it’s new but i had compliments in church, whilst out shopping and at work. It is strong, appealing and full of fruit and then amber and woods notes. A very well thought up mixture and, for the money, an absolute steal. I imagine many will catch on soon enough and the prices will skyrocket and i have bough 3 bottles of this, the CDIM and eternia. This is addictive and a real steal, my workmates all wish to know what it is but, of course, i cannot say and will not say as i do not like to be like the herd and will never be a sauvage type. Get it while you can and at this incredible price. Forget the bottle, it works and if your only moan is some minor seepage then think yourself lucky. This will be very popular but it will not be so because i told everyone what i wear. Enjoy

I could not find anything on the fragrance notes for Armaf Craze Noir, but supposedly, it is claimed by other people that this is a Lacoste L.12.12 Noir clone. Very very good! Smells like a non-common showergel, very soft and slightly powdery...it's good. Simple but great
