Derby Club House Gold

I love this. It starts off kinda intense. The first spritz reminds me of Calvin Klein Euphoria Amber Gold. It has a very heavy smell to it. It fades quickly and starts to smell like Fleur de Femme from LA Rive or Evoke Silver from Ajmal. Both of these are supposed to be Poison Girl dupes. As for the scent itself I get mostly a dense cake-like vanilla and syrupy orange/pineapple. It sorta smells like pineapple upside down cake but with lots of orange. But the star of the show is the vanilla aspect so the fruity smells are in the background playing the supporting role. I don't find this to be overly powdery like others mentioned. If you like Fleur de Femme I think you'll enjoy this too.

Well blended perfection in an amazing gilded flacon which screams absolute luxury at at a very reasonable price. This fragrance is my absolute best friend right now olfactory speaking and those of you who are screaming cheap obviously know what that pretense is. Long lasting with a sweeter note and sillage akin to Chopard's Casmir. Well worth the 32$ Aus dollars spent on my fragrance addiction. Unisex vibe works both ways and keeps me awake. Fruity and exotic. I'm in love with this. Snap it up before it's unavailable. Gourmet lovers will not be disappointed. Love magnet. Truly. For either sex. This is a true gem. Masterpiece. Love. X. Wow. Derby Clubhouse Gold it's a definite keeper. I was totally underwhelmed with her at first. I found DCG very screechy when I first sprayed her and knew she had to sit for a while. It's also very hot where I live and I just about choked out the hubby ... but last night, as the temperatures dropped to a nice chilly 60 degrees, I wore her. How intoxicating she is. Beautiful citrus and fluffy vanilla. I was hoping DCG would smell good but now she's knocking my socks off. This is a cold weather beauty. I'm still letting her sit. Can't wait until temperatures really drop. She's so cozy and comforting. Best blind buy in a while.

I actually really like this fragrance. I think that this is a hidden gem. At first spray I get the fruity notes along side the Heliotrobe/Tuberose. Then the Vanilla, Tonka and Cashmeran. I do think that the notes could be blended a little better but I got this for $25 on Amazon and it arrived in less than a week so I am not complaining. And all in all it is a great fragrance! The scent is great, the bottle & cap are great. I definitely will be suggesting it!

YSL's Manifesto l'Exilir on powdery steroids. Starts off cakey and creamy before the powder emerges and stays. Vanilla and tonka keep the sweetness going. Majorly projects; sprayed the crook of my elbow almost 4 hrs ago and it's still projecting very strongly. Definitely best in cool weather, this can be rather overwhelming in the heat.

This is what barbershops smell like in Turkey. A very clean scent. It smells like an aftershave cologne. The scent gets better as it gradually gets lighter. Even if he is an unclean person, after spraying this scent, he feels as if he is clean. It's a bit spicy to me, but it's a masculine scent.

#781 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I had previously purchased Armaf "Derby Clubhouse Gold for Men" for myself and the only thing I didn't like about it was the very moderate performance. I then saw an EDP version advertised which did not specify "for Women" and ordered it, realized my error, put it on the shelf and forgot about it, until I noticed it today while sorting bottles I'm giving away, so gave it to a girlfriend and she really like the freshness, fruitiness and how feminine it was in the dry down. I think it's a great scent, and if a woman I was interested in were wearing it I'd find it "stimulating."

This is dense, powerful, rich concoction of Heliotrobe, Tonka Bean, Black Currant, with prominent sweetness of mandarine and lovely warmness of POWDERY woody musk. It starts a bit abrasive with all the notes coming out to play all at the same time, but 10min later it settles into such warm and inviting sweet fragrance. Sillage is STRONG for the first 30-40min, and becomes softer (more polite) for the remaining 5-6h hours, before turning into yummy vanilla type skin scent. Solid 6/10...for the price, it is a great buy...and most definitely worth a try if you are curious.

This is so pretty! It’s a fresh bright scent. I can pick up citrus in the top then some florals but it’s incredibly well blended. Then there’s a soft creaminess in the base! I think this is a scent that could be worn all year and signature scent worthy. I don’t really get a powdery accord. I strongly dislike anything powdery so that is a good thing for me! I’m happy to have this in my collection! Updates- 1/22 I wore this a couple days ago, I am sad to report the projection and longevity were disappointing.

The OTT gold bottle does not suit this flirty butterfly. She opens with a fleeting orange moment and then settles into a soft vanilla and cashmere frag. Ideally suited to late autumn weather when the trees are stripped bare and the air is perfumed with wood burning fireplaces. This is a soft, cuddle-up scent and also perfect for office wear. A safe buy, despite the horrendous gold bottle.

This is a great alternative to YSL Manifesto L'Elixer. Sweet powdery and womanly. Great performance and a great price. If you are looking for an alternative to the original Manifesto, try Eau My Secret by Womens Secret..also a great price. They are different enough to own both!

This is very close to YSL Manifesto. If you are looking for a cheap clone, take this one. I like them both.

I had high hopes for this one, especially the powdery vanilla/tonka/heliotrope part. It does get there, but not before a cacophony of notes tries to get along but don't. The drydown is mostly vanilla but doesn't have the added support of any of the other parts of the perfume like the black currant, orange, or tuberose. I am happy with the heliotrope/vanilla part when it comes but it goes so fast. The perfume does last on clothing but not on my skin which I find strange, especially since it opens so brazenly, I expected the fragrance to have decent longevity. There are too many other inexpensive vanilla and heliotrope fragrances out there that are beautiful than to waste time on this one. Unfortunately, I agree with the other negative reviews but I really wanted to like this. It has some of my favorite notes but this one is too coarse for me.

I really enjoy the scent of this fragrance. Unfortunately the performance is not great. After 6 months in my collection it has not improved. I get 3 hrs on skin and slightly more on various fabrics (10 sprays) even bumping it to 15 sprays no real improvement. It starts out great for the first hour then diminishes quickly after that. Great DNA, beautiful but performance is questionable. Clean lightly moisturized skin, both cotten and blended fabrics, 10 and 15 sprays tested. 😞

Wow. This is an obnoxious perfüme. Kind of loud, opening is harsh, abrasive doesn't meld or flow. All over the place with the notes. No harmony with this one. Yuk. How, with these nice and very basic notes how could this smell like this?. There's just something off about this one. I ordered this (a blind buy) almost convinced by reviews elsewhere that this would be at least similar to Lancôme Poem. You know, smooth heavy floral. Not the case. To me it's loud and brash and smells closer to Givenchy-Givenchy & Amirage. The notes looked like it would smell really nice. But, the execution of the product is just a mess. Not smooth, or well blended. I don't like this one. But, I never cared for Givenchy perfumes too much. (The Dahlia one is pretty though.) As I find them harsh, abrasive and headache inducing. But for people that like Givenchy's Givenchy & Amirage, or Ystatis would probably like this. It definitely has that late 1980's early 90's loud perfume vibe that many of the higher end designer perfumes had at that time. My friend loves Ystatis. She may like this. Maybe I'll see if she wants to trade. Sorry, Just Not For Me.

This is funny because this is the exact dupe of Manifesto, 99% + a bit screechier [understandably so]. It is just the same, for me both are also identical [90%? actually more] to Stone by Replay. Perfect dupes these two, Stone and Club House Gold, of Manifesto. It's floral and sugary as I don't feel any vanilla but spun sugar. Sweeter i.e. mellower than the burnt one in Pink Sugar, for example. Spun sugar, some florals, a tiny bit of sharpness [could be the currant or jasmine]. Identical to Manifestone and Stone. I was about to repurchase Stone as I've fallen in love with it recently [didn't really like it at first] but it's hard to find and Club House Gold is cheaper.

I thought with the notes this would have been a safe blind buy. This was one of the worst perfumes I have ever smelled. It's very cheap smelling and headache inducing. It's just a mess. If I were to smell it first. I would have never guessed that these were the notes. This is definitely a scrubber. There's better perfumes with these notes. Hard pass for me.

Sweet, simplistic heavy vanilla and white flowers. Sillage uneven, resulting in a cakey, stilted drydown. Wealth of rich notes, yet the composition misfires. Appealing but not well-done fragrance.
