Ego Exotic

Wow, what an awesome dupe for a very expensive brand perfume! I couldn't care less about the B.S snobbery crap that some twats pull about dupes and middle eastern frags. I'm loving this trend in giving the average person some kind of access to experience fragrances similar or very close to the O.G, that don't cost a eye or a kidney. I'd say this hits about the 95 percent mark for duping Creeds Windflowers EDP. I've been waiting patiently for Armaf Ego Exotic to arrive on Aussie shores and it's finally available in a number of online stores here. I have Windflowers and LOVE it...just not the stupidly bloated cost. I get chest pains just thinking about having to buy another bottle in a couple of years...imagine the inflation and blatant rip off then!!! This is a fantastic dupe at a far more sane price, and it's close enough to Windflowers that it gives me all the same feels. HATE the bottle though...no getting around that bizzare, ugly thing. But as I often decant my perfumes into smaller, managable, travel sized spray bottles, I can hide it away and forget what it looks like. So in the first spray Windflowers is a little more white floral than Ego. The peach is more apparent in Ego and this stays the same as it dries down. Once it's dried though, the slight differences get less and less. Infact, half an hour into wearing each one on a different hand, I can't really tell the difference. Maybe just that slightly more peachy touch in the Ego still. But when I spray just Armaf Ego by itself, I'd swear black and blue, that it's Windflowers. I'm thrilled and so happy to put this into my collection. Keep 'em coming Armaf! ❤️

Wow, this is a good one. So juicy, fresh and just pretty. Sparkling and effervescent. I think lovers of fruity floral chypre scents like YSL Mon Paris, Lancome la nuit tresor, or even the 2005 version of Miss Dior Cherie will really enjoy this. It does sort of have that coco mademoiselle patchouli vibe, although patchouli is not listed under the notes. I haven’t tried Creed windflowers or Gaultier Fragile, so I can’t compare it to those. Ego exotic opens with a super juicy peach. As it dries down I even get hints of strawberries. I love that this is one of those scents where the opening notes really stick around till the end. In the middle I get mostly jasmine with just a little bit of the tuberose and rose. I’m a big fan of tuberose and was actually hoping it would be more pronounced, but it’s fairly light. In the dry down I pick up on some musk and praline. The praline gives it just the right amount of sweetness to tie everything together. The notes are very well blended. Get about 4-5 hours of wear on skin. Lasts longer on clothes. Edit: It’s been 10 days since I initially tested it, and decided to give it another try. Seems like it’s changed, is much more of a creamy tuberose scent than it was when I first tried it. I don’t get much of the fruity notes anymore.

This is absolutely beautiful! I got a touch of Coco Mad, a touch of L’Interdit, with a refreshing juicy peach in the opening and a lush, sweet musky dry down. Signature Scent worthy on first impressions. We’ll see if this changes over the next week or so, but rn it’s a love! Edit: This fragrance has had me by the throat for 10 days now. This is the first time EVER, that I’ve been able to fall for a gorgeous fragrance in a ridiculous bottle. And I can’t seem to put it down. I will need a back up for sure. Also, the comparison to Creed Wind Flowers is a good one. They are not exact, but definitely close sisters. As it should, Creed smells more refined. It seems less bright and juicy and more sweet floral to me... Still the similarities are very obvious, and I love them both.

This is so beautiful. At first, it seemed like just another floral perfume. But each time, as the notes came in, it kept growing on me in a way I could have never imagined. The rich nuances make it such a well blended and truly special fragrance. Edit: Do you know when you love something so much that you exhaust the life out of it? I'm afraid that's what has happened here. I got bored of it. Maybe I just need to spice things up with new fragrances or try layering. Makes me so sad. I still love it, but I'm bored. Edit #2: I love how the fragrance changes throughout the year. In colder weather, it's more musky powdery, while in warmer weather it's more peachy. I think I enjoy it again.

Don't let the initial spray fool you! It starts off a bit harsh and screechy, but once it dries down, it is pure perfection. It turns into a gorgeous peachy, jasmine, powdery and musky scent. I am absolutely obsessed with this fragrance. Later edit: I just had a lovely, intimate moment with my African Grey, Jack, and suddenly it hit me: this is the smell. My parrot has this distinct powdery, dry, and musky scent. Oh my god, I am just absolutely in love with it.

Peachy sweet white flowers wrapped in a heavy powdery musk. Reads identical to Creed's Wind Flowers, great dupe. Warm weather is best for this, so every season except for coldest autumn days and winter. Very strong, projects incredibly off my skin, have already received compliments.

I haven’t yet tested this compared to windflowers, but I can say that this is a very pretty fragrance! It is definitely falling into the category of “my kind of scent” . I have had this for several months, and as I do with most of my middle easterns, I open it, spray it out, and tuck it into my collection for months! I’m just revisiting this and it has certainly improved significantly. It has settled from a terribly sharp, loud, synthetic blend to something so much more wearable. I feel it needs a little bit longer but I can tell that I really am going to enjoy this. I love the freshness of the orange blossom but the warmth of the woody and musky notes. I usually wear my scents by season but I feel like this would be great in any season. It’s definitely worth what I paid for it, which was under $25 if I remember correctly.

Pleasant fruity green mostly pineapple composition (despite the pyramid). Sometimes it reveals aquatic kinda like watermelon notes. Also I can smell a trace of abrocenide in its base that gives the composition a stem and very modern profile. Im very sensitive to ambrocenide and usually can’t stand it, but in this perfume the amount is so tiny that even for my nose it’s not irritating. I would describe this perfume as created to satisfy today’s trend lovers, not sure that in two or three years perfume will be actual.

I'll give my honest opinion. I'm extremely critical when it comes to perfumes, and although I appreciate masculine, feminine, and unisex fragrances alike, it's worth emphasizing that this review reflects the perspective of a man evaluating an unapologetically feminine perfume. My expectations for this fragrance were relatively low. Unfortunately, they ended up being confirmed. This fragrance evokes in me a feeling of nostalgia, melancholy—almost a sense of saudade. Much of that impression comes from its dominant accord: white florals, which pull the composition toward a distinctly vintage and intensely powdery character. In the opening, I mainly detect orange blossom accompanied by a subtle peach note. Many people consider the orange blossom to be the true protagonist of the entire fragrance, which is rather curious since it's usually quite a volatile note. To my nose, that's exactly what happens. Immediately after spraying, all the notes seem to appear in harmony, but within seconds the orange blossom completely takes over, bringing a creamy, slightly powdery, fruity, and citrusy character. The peach barely stands out on its own, but I have the impression that it helps prolong the fruity sensation of the opening. But here's the real turning point: the orange blossom seems to function as a bridge between the opening and the heart of the fragrance, preparing the stage for what I consider the perfume's true star—the tuberose. It arrives without asking permission or greeting anyone. It practically barges through the door with its nose held high, taking complete control of the composition. Its aroma is intensely floral, sweet, powdery, and slightly animalic, with a remarkably vintage character. At times, it reminds me of classic makeup, fabric softener, or old-fashioned cleaning products. The sambac jasmine and rose attempt to soften the fragrance's old-fashioned personality. The sambac jasmine contributes a slightly brighter floral quality with a faint fruity nuance, but in my opinion it never significantly alters the personality of the tuberose, which remains unquestionably dominant throughout nearly the entire development. In the base, we find musk, iris, sandalwood, and praline. Curiously, the musk—one of my favorite notes in perfumery—is almost imperceptible. The iris reinforces the composition's powdery character even further, while the praline contributes only a gentle sweetness to the floral notes. The sandalwood, meanwhile, preserves the fragrance's creamy texture, giving the drydown a beautifully soft finish. Overall, I wouldn't call this a bad fragrance, but neither would I say it truly captivated me. It's an extremely situational perfume. Despite being a contemporary creation, it conveys a distinctly old-fashioned atmosphere—to the point that it reminds me of my beloved late grandmother. If I had to imagine a setting for this fragrance, it would be an elegant funeral, filled with enormous arrangements of tuberoses perfuming the room while impeccably dressed elderly women pray beside the coffin of an old friend. It may sound like an unusual comparison, but that's exactly the image this perfume brought to mind. Its projection is strong. It doesn't completely fill an entire room, but it will certainly be noticed by everyone present. In my experience, the longevity ranged from 4 to 8 hours. The presentation deserves praise. The bottle features a tall, rectangular shape with rounded corners, wrapped in light beige faux leather and adorned with a beautiful multicolored peacock surrounded by flowers. The cap opens with a mechanism inspired by vintage tabletop lighters—a distinctive and elegant detail. The atomizer, on the other hand, is merely average. Personally, this isn't a fragrance I would buy again. I recognize its quality, but its profile is simply too far removed from my personal taste and the style of fragrances I usually enjoy wearing. And, to emphasize once again, this is the perspective of a man reviewing an entirely feminine fragrance. Many women may experience it in a completely different way, but within my own olfactory journey, it simply doesn't resonate with my personal taste. It deserves a solid 7.3/10.

I know I should let this sit in its box for a while, now that I have sprayed it a few times, but I was too curious, for which I blame the insane but somehow beautiful, if undeniably kitschy, peacock bottle and its weird, weird lighter-style cap (very highly functional--you never lose a cap that you just flick up like a Zippo top). It might improve on maturation, but it opens with a harshly medicinal, Vick's Vaporub-type accord that I'm guessing is the tuberose. It's way more pronounced than it is in, say, Carnal Flower. Once it settles down a bit, it's more of a conventional white floral fragrance, with orange blossom and tuberose coming through most prominently. I don't like it as much as Fakhar Rose, which is similar in some ways, but it's not bad at all. And that bottle! I love it so much. I have so many more expensive perfumes in such crappy, dysfunctional bottles (cough, cough, Estee Lauder) that it's a true gift to buy an inexpensive perfume that comes in a bottle that is so functional and fun. Update: I haven't tested this on skin yet, but on paper it is very strong eight hour later, and the patchouli, which isn't listed as a note but is obviously there and which no doubt accounts for the many comparisons to Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, is kind of bumming me out, honestly. I won't give up on this before I try it on skin a few times.

I blind bought this based on the reviews and it is not for me. However I have to say it is pretty close to Windflower but only in the dry down. I tried this when I got it and instantly knew it’s not for me. Then I went to Dillards to try Windflower and it was very different for a long while. However when it finally settled, they were maybe 90% similar. So if you want to skip to Windflower’s final dry down instantly for $30 then get this. Not as long lasting though but way cheaper. And this is just my nose but I think if you like this perfume but want something way more tropical and fruity then try Lattafa’s Ajeyeb Dubai Portrait because it has something very similar in it to this. Like a creaminess or something. I think you’d like that perfume.

My wife is about finished with her bottle of Creed Wind Flowers so we started looking for something that is similar but with a lower price point. Found Armaf Ego Exotic and for the ultra low price of $35, we figured for that price, why not give it a try? Glad we did, stuff is amazing! My wife is already wanting to pick up a back up bottle in case they change it. Very close to the Creed. Beautiful floral, sweet and fruity. Lasts her throughout her 8+ hour work day and tells me about compliments she receives.

Okay, I will try to be gentle. This is very bold, white floral forward scent. One spray and it is immediately in your face. No shyness here. I have sensitivity to a certain “cheap” trails in fragrances and this is what comes to my mind when I smell this. And once I notice this... I just can't. It may be opulent and assertive, but it's lacking quality. It's loud but that loudness is built on cheapness, if it makes sense. It literally caused me tingling in the nose. It does calm down after a few hours. Around the three hour mark it becomes much softer on my skin and no longer feels like such a powerhouse, but it is forgettable and I can't get over that cheap trail. For me, this one is a hard pass - 1/10.

At first it was a sweet powdery scent. My favorite profile.... but the 2nd time I tried it, it smelled masculine only and no longer smelled the sweet or powdery. I am a 38yr old woman but not my style. I have only had it a couple of weeks, I will let it sit for a while and test it from time to time in hopes it will get more sweet and feminine.

Intoxicating tropical leaning jasmine & tuberose scent, some sweetness from the peach and praline. I absolutely adore this, a definite summer nights out fragrance to me - the jasmine is heady and exotic; but overall the whole composition is blended beautifully. Visually this gives me a humid night full of yellow tropical flowers. Radiates well in the heat, longevity is 7+ hours, lovely in spring too. I layered this with vanilla lotion, oil and fragrance and it’s out of this world - so classy and elegant but also slightly animalic, a bit of an eye roller...Amazing value!

Upon first spraying, it resembles that typical strong Coco M patchouli, later on it eases out and the creamy powderiness starts coming forward. Very nice and sophisticated scent, nice twist on Coco M. Def worth the money, it is clean and well balanced, doesn't have any weird rubbery/gasoline notes that majority of Arabic perfumes have. I only smelt Wind Flowers briefly and it reminded me strongly of Coco M, so I guess they are all similar.

Mine just came in the mail today and the first spray smells good! At first spray I could tell she was a powerhouse. If you over spray her, you and everyone that comes in contact with you are going to be choked out. It does have a sharp edge to it, however I'm sure overtime that'll fade. It's a sweet white floral and peach scent. Once this settles and matures it's going to be perfect! I am definitely interested in checking out the OG now.

Reading the reviews I have the impression that I have different juice in my bottle. I feel nothing sparkling or juicy, I can smell only musk. Not sure if the reason why is that the bottle was produced in Jan 2024 and the bottle needs to macerate. This was another Middle Eastern fail.
