Wow. I blind bought this perfume firstly because I am obsessed with anything gold and I was curious to discover what Armaf perfumes smell like. The minute I sprayed this perfume, I loved it. There is something about this particular scent that speaks to me deeply and I wish I could break down what it is specifically via the notes. The opening is very strong, sweet, floral and fresh, syrupy and delightful. It doesn’t change much except for the fact that the scent mellows and becomes a skin scent within 30 minutes to an hour on me. I can’t stop trying to get a whiff of this perfume everytime I think of it and I am captivated by this gorgeous scent. I have Elie Saab le Parfum and I prefer Armaf Niche Gold so much more. Will I repurchase? Absolutely. It has a unique place in my 100 bottles plus collection and it is an easy wear for me so yes. This is my very first Armaf purchase and I am now going to try some of their other perfumes because of how much I love Armaf Niche Gold.

#1193 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Ostensibly this is a scent just for women, and it's certainly feminine leaning, but not so much that I'd never wear it. . Reminds me most of Widian's "Sahara" ($269 at Lucky Scent), which gives you rose instead of osmanthus. I've experienced that scent in a $6 decant from Lucky Scent. I prefer osmanthus to rose every time. This has the added plus of being a paltry $40 at Jomashop.. Solid performance. Something I definitely will be happy to smell on a woman. Bright, fresh, Springtime in a bottle. Absolutely no one will be offended. Never gets cloying. I expect it to be a hit, but I'll update this after I get reaction from the painfully attractive and utterly delightful woman I'm giving it to later this week.

You must like osmanthus to enjoy this perfume, as it is the dominant note here. I'm not sure if I've ever smelled osmanthus before, but I understand that it is similar to peach or apricot and while I usually have trouble with those notes, there is something about this that I love. This is a honeyed floral in the style of Elie Saab Le Parfum, although they smell nothing alike. I find Armaf Gold to be thicker and more syrupy than the Elie Saab, which I also love. After an hour or two, it settles into something a bit more earthy on my skin. It lasts about six or seven hours on me.

At first, I get quite a bit of alcohol when I spray it. The alcohol goes away though very quickly. Definitely honey with peach/apricot (that is from osmantus). Later it goes more vanilla/musk on my skin. The sillage is crazy. Sometimes people walk into the room where I work at and they can smell it right away. Intoxicating. For the price I highly recommend it. Also the overall presentation of the fragrance (for the price) is incredible.

Osmanthus has become my favorite "citrus" by throwing! I love this so much more than clean orange blossom, like Elie Saab’s Le perfum. Still, I do agree with other critics that here is similarities with that scent. Here honey and musky are soo addictive. Honey is taggy and strong, almost... well, pee...So try this first! Armaf know what To Do!💛

Love love love... in between elie saab le parfum and chanel coco mademoiselle...sweet, romantic, floral scent... it is linger up to 8 hours... i never regret all my armaf-blind-buy perfumes. I have 7 bottles from armaf now and 2 from estiara.... they all great perfumes that you couldnt resist...

A lovely cross between Narciso Rodriguez for Her EDT and Elie Saab La Parfum. Niche Gold performs wonderfully and it smells more expensive than it actually costs. Armaf is an amazing house -- giving us such beastmode fragrances without breaking the bank!

There is an undeniable warmth to it that feels like laying under the shade of a tree on a balmy summer evening after going for a swim in a lake as you start to slowly fall asleep. It has a kind of 'fresh laundry' vibe....like clothes hanging from a laundry line outside, imagine taking a clean shirt off the line and you can feel the warmth of the sun from the shirt. If you like warm cotton/laundry scents, this would be a good one to try. It's also quite a mature scent in that an older woman would like this, but not that it smells like a 'granny.' the amber, honey, and saffrom are really well blended together. All the notes are, in fact.

A nice creamy osmanthus that lasts on clothes for days. The very opening of spraying is icky to me but for the price point (mine was on sale) it is very worth it to wait that 30 seconds for the beauty to unfold. I am personally not getting anything animalic although I’d really like it if I was. This feels very pleasant albeit safe.

Very strong and heady. It has that generic "perfume" smell that I don't typically go far. The opening smells a bit fruity, a bit like pineapple then it dries down to a warm, spicy ambery base with a hint of orange blossom. This is mature leaning. Men can easily pull this off because of the strong amber, spicy base.

This is nice ambery citrusy scent. I dont smell saffron at all. Osmantus / orange blossom dissaper in dry down and you're left with warm ambery vanilla. Long lasting. Similar to YSL Cinema for the fraction of the price. Tested on clothes

Well i'd like to say a big thankyou to Velvetice , I purchased this on the review and really glad I did , yes it's on the verge of unisex but I really like this and yes I would recommend this to women & men .....great stuff !!!!!

This is my go-to sweet and floral scent! The honey and amber are prominent, making it super cozy and inviting. It lasts a long time too, which is always a plus.

I love this. When I wear this I just sit in a trance, basking in my scent bubble lol. It is opulent, timeless, powerful. It is so timeless, it feels ancient. I imagine Byzantine royalty, deities. I want to be dripping in jewels, lounging in silken robes. What I'm trying to say, is this is a being fed grapes scent. I get a juicy, orangey orange blossom (fresh, no starchy laundry sheets). Then there is the unripe apricot from the osmanthus, tart honey. It is balanced between warm and fresh. I really don't pick up much base notes throughout the wearing. It is fairly linear. It projects well and lasts all day.

Very feminine. I wanted a honey which it does and the osmanthus opening is very accurate. So if anyone wants to smell like osmanthus for five minutes go ahead. It also has an out dated perfume base smell that my aunt’s wore. Floral aldehyde. 1985 CK Obsession anyone? It must be the vetiver.

Boozy, heady, old fashioned and generic. I've smelt this stuff before a dozen times and wasn't a fan. Bonus: it's cheap. That's a pass for me.

@lilacteeth agreed on the horrid opening, but the opening to me is NOT worth the end result, only because my brain cant forget that the first notes that hit me were dirty dish water 9 days old, with a side of a nest of partially decomposed baby rodents in an old musty cardboard box... and i just feel too dirty to forget that _THAT_ is what is still on my skin and clothing.. i can't get past it.. HARD PASS. There are so many scents out there in a similar price point, to forget the really repugnant opening for the mediocre dry down. And yes, the dry down IS beautiful.. but I just cant ignore that opening.

DARK-HONEY & MEAD (honey-wine). This deep & mysterious beauty evokes ancient mead-producing cultures, such as Egyptian or Babylonian. Opens with a burst of peach-leather that bites back a little with saffron, and then deepens into a honey & amber-floral heart with balsamic, animalic, floral, leather & sweet nuances, all resting on a musky amber-vanilla base. The honey here is musky, animalic and has a faint beer note as well as a champagne 'pee-pee-du-chat' note that enhances the saffron and gives an overall vibe of mead. In the heart, some florals come out with a near-lilac tone, and you catch a glimpse of scents like Elie Saab Le Parfum, Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDP and Lovely Sarah Jessica Parker, lightening up what would otherwise be a very heavy scent. Well into the drydown, the vetiver is gorgeous, and comes alive in the background with a rich, earthy woodiness, and you catch a glimpse of Noir de Noir Tom Ford. This is a gorgeous scent, with well above average performance, but it's powerful stuff so I don't recommend overspraying. I like to lighten it further by spraying J.R. Watkins Honey & Coconut Body Oil Mist on top. Enjoy!

I am lost for words at the moment..... eeerrrmmmmmmm... To say this fragrance hit me by surprise is an understatement. This a beyond heavenly. It is beautiful sexy warm spice with amber, hint of vanilla & musc and all the good stuff and my gosh it' strong. Definitely seduction in a bottle. Two spays of this is enough which means it will definitely last for a while. The scent linger's on & on, & on & on. It didn't come off until I washed my hands twice and it lasted a for a few hours. I know this fragrance is aimed at women but can also pass for unisex for the men who love strong , spicy , patchouli scents but want something more sexy, quite but still strong and captivating.

Intoxicating, seductive, addictive...this will have you sniffing at yourself like crazy. I get a strong lily of the valley vibe...it is not listed on the notes but this is what my nose gets, something sweet and warm probably some honey and something pungent and strong, musk or vetiver. I would see it on a man as well, if he's in to florals. Very good price, gorgeous bottle...nice heavy bottle with golden cap came in a black velvet box, very good persistance, a succesful nlind buy, Armaf welcome in to my life!!

This reminds me of both Narciso Rodriguez for Her EDT and Gucci by Gucci EDP. It's a scent profile I enjoy a lot and this one is a lovely execution. There's an accord in there somewhere that makes me think of chocolate — perhaps its something about how the vanilla mingles with the other notes here. The bottle is much nicer in real life than it is in pictures. I bought it for a song. Unfortunately, although I enjoy the scent, it consistently triggers a migraine for me, so I'll be swapping it.

I am impressed by the quality of Armaf given the fairly low price. I was curious about the brand and since NR for her and Elie Saab Le Parfum are my favorites I thought I'd give it a try. And your great reviews are really spot on! This is indeed very close to both. It's not an exact replica of either but the same 'feminine bomb' vein. Edit: The best one IMHO out of the Armaf Niche collection. Dries down to a nice Amberish Vanilla that I can still smell after 12 hours.

Another Armaf take on Tom Ford's Noir de Noir but with less artificial smelling saffron and less harsh opening than CDNIW. This opens with a nice pear scent to my nose. The drydown is very similar to CDNIW and NDN.

Way soapier than I expected! Doesn't smell like NR to me...it makes me think of Paloma Picasso or something more of that nature...

On jomashop it lists honey bees!?! as a note, twice, and crocus(saffron)? Hmmm...I get honey...but bees?
