Hunter Intense

Armaf Hunter Intense opens with a moderate projection of citrus, spicy, and floral accords. The citrus accords are sweet, the lemon and mandarin are the most prominent notes. The opening is fresh, sweet, and delectable. The cardamon and pepper create the spicy tone, the pepper is the most noticeable spicy note. The geranium, rosebay, and lavender create a pleasant floral accord, aromatic but not overpowering, the lavender adds the clean-like accord. As the fragrance commences to dry-down, the vetiver and patchouli add a soft sharp green touch, maintaining the lemon-like opening as opposed to adding a herbaceous accord. Both, the musk and labdanum are the projecting notes, the musk creates an ambroxan-like accord, projecting and slightly powdery; the labdanum adds an ambergris-like tone, also very projecting. The most noticeable opening to dry-down changes in this fragrance is the citrus and sweet accords which are stronger during the opening, but they gradually dissipate towards the dry-down, and, the vetiver and patchouli add a sharp green accord that blends well with the clean, white musk which develops towards the dry-down. The combination of these last two, maintain the citrus nature of the fragrance. One Armaf Hunter Intense Men EDT has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate projection, mildly sweet, citrus, and clean musk fragrance with spicy, green and soft floral accords. The fragrance feels airy, clean, cold, diurnal, energizing, fresh, intense, masculine, white slightly powdery musky, playful, slightly powdery, refreshing, sporty, versatile, white, and very pleasant. The white musk feels clean and projecting, evocative of ambroxan. UNIQUENESS: 9/10. Common notes, but an intense and unique scent. MASS APPEAL: 10/10. This is a mass appeal fragrance. PROJECTION: 4/10. Good, about 4 feet around the wearer. Up close is intense. SILLAGE: 5/10. Very good, about 5 feet behind the wearer. APPLICATION: 4 atomizations will suffice. LONGEVITY: 3/10. Moderate to low, about 3 hours, with a consistent projection but close to the third hour it dissipates entirely. SEASONS: Spring, summer, fall. An intense, impressive, high mass appeal, and highly versatile fragrance, it could last longer yet, it delivers fantastic value. This is a must-have. BLIND-BUY: Yes, but only if you are familiar with its main notes. SIMILAR: Armaf Hunter Intense is similar to Dior Sauvage. Both fragrances have similar compositions and scents, however, Dior Sauvage contains a more prominent woody accord, cedar to be specific, also Dior Sauvage contains ambroxan which makes it feel slightly powdery. These are examples of fragrances in the same genre. Dior Sauvage EDT is great sharp citrus, spicy, amber, woody, and musky fragrance; Dior Sauvage EDP is great sharp citrus, spicy, and ambery fragrance; Versace Eros is an outstanding mint, apple, ambroxan, and woody fragrance; L’Artisan Parfumeur Caligna is a great sweet fruity (fig), floral, green, piney, and herbaceous fragrance; Prada Luna Rossa Carbon is a fantastic, bergamot and peppery fragrance, metallic, earthy, and powdery fragrance; Parfums de Marly Percival a low projection, slightly sweet, lavender, and fresh woody fragrance; Ralph Lauren Polo Ultra Blue is great lemon verbena, basil, and white musk fragrance; Tiziana Terenzi is a good powdery, and clean musk fragrance with soft woody and spicy accords; Versace Dylan Blue is a great mildly sweet, citrusy, and green fragrance with some fruity, musky, powdery, and spicy accords; Armaf Hunter Intense is a great mildly sweet, citrus and clean must fragrance with spicy and green accords fragrance. I'm going to go against the grain here, but does anyone else find this similar to Parfums de Marley Layton without the Vanilla? I'm actually not finding this to be too similar to Sauvage and Invictus, but instead it's my fix for when I'm craving Layton. This has everything that Layton has for me, a heavy dose of Ambroxan, sharp apple, a touch of smoothness... I mean, it REALLY reminds me of a brighter batch of Layton, just lacking the vanilla. (And yes, I have noticed batch variations in Layton.) Performance is lacking on my bottle, but many other people are getting great performance, so I'm going to go ahead and blame that on my bottle in particular, which was bought used from someone who was unhappy with it. Price is not an issue, so I overspray this one and then spray it some more a couple hours later. :) I expect my next bottle of this will probably perform better, like I've seen others report, and I just ordered another bottle to see if that's the case. The scent is SEXY! Women have really loved it on me. My ex loved the scent of this one, but even she said she wished it were stronger when I would wear it. Still, for the scent and price, this one is great. UPDATE: Okay, looking at the notes, it becomes apparent as to why this reminds me of Layton, as most of the notes are shared between this, Layton, and Sauvage. Shared notes are in bold. Top Notes: Bergamot , Lemon, Mandarin orange , Cardamom Heart Notes: Geranium , Lavender , Rose, Pink pepper Base Notes: Vetiver, Cedar , Musk, Labdanum, Patchouli UPDATE #2: Okay, so it turns out my first bottle was a bit of a fluke... I love this scent so much that I went ahead and ordered a 2nd bottle, and this second bottle basically smells like an improved Dior Sauvage with a splash of fruitiness like everyone else is getting. Apparently my first bottle is heavier on the top notes and lower on the base notes. My first bottle is sweeter, while the 2nd bottle is much more bitter like Sauvage. The 2nd bottle also out-performs the first bottle by lasting nearly twice as long, and even staying underneath my shirt collar until the next morning, however I still much prefer my first bottle of this. Update 3: Okay, so out of desperation to replace my dwindling first bottle, I again bought a 3rd new bottle, and this time it smells just like the first. So, my first bottle was NOT a total fluke, however, that tells us that you should expect some level of batch variation with this scent.

3 MONTH UPDATE: Absolutely love this now. The projection and scent massively developed and now this is a phenomenal men’s fragrance. Smells way more expensive than it actually is. If you get a bottle and find that it’s a little weak, spray a few sprays put it in your closet for a month or two - magic will happen. 8.5/10 for me. Excellent year-round fresh masculine scent if you like YSL, Sauvage, and others in that category. Smells nothing like Sauvage. Same category? Sure. Smells *like* Sauvage? Not at all, which is fine. If you like that style though, you’ll likely also like this. I find it to be “okay” for a number of reasons. 1. It’s a good, but very generic clean scent. I’ve heard people say that before about fragrances and never understood that knock - I kind do get it now. Totally blind-buy safe, but no one is going to smell you and go “WOW! 😍” It’s more of a, “yeah, you smell nice” if you were to ask someone to smell you. You’d never get outright noticed - which isn’t always a bad thing. 2. It’s weak. You can over-spray it and can only smell it if you’re right up on your skin. At least that’s how my bottle is and it’s “matured” in my closet for a little over a month now too. 3. It’s a clean scent, but it’s heavy on the spice/pepper so it’s not a totally clean scent. Which may not work as well during the day or heat like a normal blue/fresh fragrance would. Not necessarily a bad thing depending on how you’ll want to wear it. 4. The bottle/cap is terrible. I’m not counting this against my rating, because I really don’t care of a bottle sucks as long as the fragrance is good, but this one really is bad. So, overall it’s good to okay. The price I paid was $19. Zero regrets for that price, but I likely wouldn’t rebuy it. I’ll wear, enjoy it enough, but there are better options for like $10 more. Great first fragrance, very safe buy. Armaf continues to be my favorite brand. This is maybe my least favorite Armaf, and it’s still quite good. If you can get it for under $20, I’d say try it, but it won’t blow your mind unless you’re totally new to fragrance.

This fragrance is honestly the best in my entire collection. I started getting into fragrances around 2020 during COVID, and early on I realised I loved fresh, bubble-gum sweet scents. Invictus was the first one that really stood out to me after testing it in duty free. When I was building my collection, I bought Armaf Hunter Intense alongside Rasasi Hawas, and I was genuinely shocked. Firstly, Hunter Intense had a better opening to my nose and secondly it was an Eau de Parfum, and lasted longer than Hawas. After watching youtube videos, people described the opening as a fresh, sweet Invictus-like scent with a drydown similar to Dior Sauvage EDT, and that description could not be more accurate. This is easily the most versatile fragrance in my collection. It performs solidly, works in almost any situation, and is my most complimented fragrance. Recently, I bought Invictus as it’s my favourite designer opening. I tested Invictus, Hunter Intense, and Rasasi Hawas Ice side by side on strips. Hawas Ice is fruitier and lasts the longest, so use that for summer. Invictus has the best opening, deeper and more complex, but also the weakest longevity. Hunter Intense opens about 75% similar to Invictus, but fresher and lighter, then outperforms it and dries down into a more mature blue fragrance similar to Dior Sauvage. This is still very much a fresh, bubble-gum blue fragrance, so don’t expect a completely new or unique scent profile. What it does, it simply does so well. This is one of the cheapest fragrances I own, and I’ve genuinely gone through six bottles. I always keep one in my gym bag, and the other in my room and it permanently sits in my “versatile” category because it does everything well. If I had to keep only one fragrance for life, this would be it. I don’t hear any hype around this fragrance anymore, maybe because it came out years ago and the clone market has exploded, but don’t overlook it. This is top top stuff from Armaf. Please never discontinue this. PS: The bottle design is awful, but thankfully it's juice inside that matters.

My (strictly) Spring/Summer Signature-scent. It CANNOT be worn in cooler or cold weather; it won't perform, unless indoors. After receiving and wearing for an entire day, my findings are as follows: This fragrance is of a high standard. The opening is good; it's a cross between PR Invictus and Invictus Aqua. I have Invictus, so I'm not really concerned with that. The opening is so short-lived (2-3 hours max) then it becomes a beautiful, intimate, vanilla-rich, creamy, caramel-y, slightly peppery scent that'll radiate off of your skin for 10 hours, which has me completely STUNNED!😳 Here you have Armaf giving away high-performing, top-tier fragrances for pennies on the dollar, while ultra-rich fragrance houses churn out mass appealing, top-selling fragrances, watering them down, to the point that they become useless to the financially savvy individual, who refuses to be conned, just to smell nice, albeit similar to 50 blokes that day, for all of 2 minutes. This fragrance is top-tier quality, especially in the dry-down, which will last 10 hours in warmer settings. At this rate, Armaf could bottleneck the market, putting tons of fragrance houses out of business, unless they clean up their act. Signature-scent worthy, for sure. Completely blown away, but very pleased; as now I can stop searching and searching for that mega fragrance, that's a rare find, a steal, and unique enough to satisfy my hunger, while simultaneously burning through my bank balance, trying to find that one special, unique-smelling fragrance, but never quite getting there, amassing 100 - 200+ fragrances in the process, wasting money... now I've found it; it's here: it's Hunter Intense👏🏾🔥

This is my first blue fragrance. I blind bought it for 15€ shipping included. Ive smelled Invictus in a store once so I cant really draw much of a comparison there, but Ive smelled sauvage quite a lot, as probably everyone has lol. The opening is very sweet and reminds me of Invictus. I dont really get much of Sauvages metallic opening. In the dry down it really gets close to Sauvage though. The sweetness calms down a bit and it becomes more musky, aromatic and woody. The sweetness is still there but not projecting as heavily. All in all its a typical ambroxan, blue shower gel fragrance with a sweet twist. I personally really enjoy it as Im not a big fan of the Sauvage opening and personally like sweeter scents. Projection is really good for the „Invictus-Phase“ and a little bit more tame than sauvage in the dry down. Longevity is around 8 hours for me. The bottle is tacky but it doesnt feel that cheap. They even put the Armaf logo on top of the atomizer. The atomizer itself is ok. Its generic, blue, has ambroxan and smells somewhat synthetic. But is somebody that doesnt spend hundreds of bucks on overpriced whale vomit gonna care? Not really. And neither am I, for that price. Since nobody talking about the differences between the EDT and EDP, I'll explain it as simple as possible EDT: Dior Sauvage is more dominant EDP: Invictus is more dominant Now, I got 06/22 batch of the EDP, when I first get it and sprayed it on my skin, it smells like Invictus right away and overtime dries down to Sauvage-esque smells but it isn't too metallic, which I prefer. And with a good amount of woodyness and little bit of smokyness, reminds me a bit of Dylan Blue. On the whole, Invictus is more dominant in the newer/EDP version. When you first get it, let it sit on chill dark place for at least 3 days because in my experience, this doesn't last at all when I first sprayed it once it arrive and it smells very light, definitely because of the courier effect. I let it sit on my closet for 3 days and when I sprayed it again, the richness started to come out and the longevity become much better, we're talking about 7+ hours with a good 2-3 feet projection. Overall, a very versatile fragrance that u can wear basically anytime and anywhere you want, formally casually, doesn't matter. Very satisfied of this fragrance and for under 20$ , can't go wrong, even if it doesn't last, at least it smells good and cheap, so just spray it heavy.

A beast that comes alive within the first whiff and sits snugly in your olfactory senses even after the drydown - and that's just spraying this gem on your skin. Spray it on your clothes and it lingers for days. I definitely get the Sauvage and Invictus similarities, but this one is a bit more juicy and fruity than both of those, which I can't get enough of. OK, let's talk about the bottle: it's the ugliest bottle I've ever seen! From the cap to the base this bottle is so hard to handle and difficult to put the cap on as you have to line up the groove with the grommet that I keep thinking about transferring the juice to a better bottle or just throwing it across the room in frustration. I gest, of course, I would only throw and break it after I pour the amazing juice into a better flanker. Despite its shortcomings with the design of the bottle. I've had the fragrance for about a week, and for a blind buy, I love love love this juice! I this were in a designer bottle with a designer's name on it, because it's such a great fragrance, it could be priced upwards of $300 or more; yes it's what inside that counts and, it's that good. Rating: Scent: 9/10 Sillage: 8/10 Longevity: 8/10 Performance: Beastly

This fragrance is a dumb reach for summer days and warmer months. Very versatile and mass appealing for sure. Perfect for work and school or just for about any casual occasion. Any guy can wear this but it's leaning more to a youthful and playful side of things. Not suitable for formal wear. The smell is mostly invictus DNA mixed with sauvage and other popular blue fragrances (YSL Y edp & Dylan Blue). This has the bubblegum sweetness but doesn't have the metallic smell nor prominent pepper notes so don't think of it as a replacement for Sauvage. In the dry down it has a Sauvage vibe to it but I wouldn't confuse this with it. The performance is good with decent longevity and moderate sillage. Not a beast mode by any means. Keep in mind this is a Middle-Eastern fragrance so it needs time to macerate. Mine took about one and a half months before it started to perform. Overall the Hunter Men Intense is a great buy for everyone who wants an affordable mass appealing fragrance which gets you compliments and can be worn almost everyday. It's not an unique scent but it has its own twist so I prefer it over Invictus for example. Considering the price I'd give this a solid 7.5/10.

This is NOT a Sauvage EDT clone; it smells NOTHING like Sauvage! It IS a Montblanc Legend Spirit clone, which is a clone of Invictus; 2021 Prada LR Carbon IS a Sauvage EDT clone (albeit with shockingly bad performance)!! And i have PR Invictus in 200ml. "You call that a knife!? THIS is a knife!!..." Bart, "No it's not. It's a spoon!!" "Oh, I see you've played knifey spooney before.." - The Simpson's This is however Armaf's best work. I immediately bought another 200ml, making it my spring/summer signature-scent 🔥 The smooth, creamy, vanilla-rich, caramel-y, lightly peppery dry-down on this is fuuuuuuuuuckin' GORGEOUS!😍 I can see women LOVING this one... I love the unique design of the bottle👏🏾🔥 ***Update: I went food shopping today, and was approached by more women than usual...🤔 I was also complimented on 3 separate occasions by different women on my smell... but my appearance is as such that I attract women anyway; I'm 6ft 6" 18 stone, with a super-clean model/athletic look, so I must say that... i workout 6 days per week...🤷🏾♂️😬 It's not just the fragrance that'll get you noticed, but it could be the ice-breaker, guy's

First off let me start by stating that there appear to be some batch variation with this fragrance. I had a decant from an unknown batch and while the scent was nice, it did not last for more than maybe an hour or two. I recently acquired a bottle from batch made in 10/21, and it lasts soooo much longer. Roughly 8 hours, maybe even more. The scent also appears different, it smells much more like Sauvage than the decant I had, which leaves me to believe there is more ambroxan which is helping the longevity. To the people that complain about longevity, you must have a bad batch. On to the scent, it is very nice. The opening is very fruity and bright. I personally don't get a lot of the Invictus vibe that people are talking about. It doesn't smell bubblegummy to me like Invictus. Then after a bit it starts smelling like a less peppery, less annoying Sauvage essentially. It's the best version of that scent that I have smelled so far, and the great performance is icing on the cake. The hype is real on this one, as long as you get a good batch.

Let's be honest, you can hate on this and call it it a chemical synthetic mess all you want,but in the end it works, it's a crowd pleaser, it gets compliments, it's cheap and that's just the truth. I agree with many here that it starts invictus and then settles down to a Sauvage with a fruity twist, I really haven't gotten my hands on YSL Y but if it smells within this scent profile I think I'm going to have to get it for my next purchase after burning through at least one frag in my collection to make room for it. I had this stashed in the back and left it alone for about six months and I'm just now revisiting it and it smells lovely, not your niche quality juice but great nevertheless. The only thing I dislike about it is the bottle design and the cap base silver that comes off (cheap as hell), the design gives the impression of something animalic or heavy considering the name itself. In conclusion it's a fresh, spicy and slightly fruity scent, if you can get past the wacky yet daring bottle design by all means have at it.

Well, everything about this frag has already been said or discussed and I cant agree more. Indeed, this is a mass appealing frag along similar vein of PR Invictus, Dior Sauvage, Montblanc Legend, or a combination of them all and although familiar, I love it's scent profile. Frag experts may consider this generic but to my regular nose, this is a winner. To me personally, it boils down to the price and the quality of the juice. If your nose agrees with it, you can rely on this frag. It's reasonably priced and its performance and longevity will not disappoint. Call it generic, synthetic or what not, I love this humble juice. Each nose is different and scent is subjective. Let's enjoy the scents that we love and respect those who has different scent preferences than us. That's a great way to preserve harmony in our community. This is 9/10 for me “Let's spread the scents of peace and kindness. Personally I don’t get the Suvauge smell, this is more simular to invictus, there is no pepper and Suvauge is loaded with pepper. But, this is a decent all year scent might be a little coying in higher heat, but in air conditioning no problem and it has enough strength to handle the colder months. It is some what linear as it starts out sweet and ends up sweet. But it is not as sweet as Invictus in my opinion. For an EDT it is above average in performance. Not quite a beast but close. On me it last all day and on clothes, even after one wash it is there faintly, I put 6 sprays on the other day and my wife and I got in the car and I was projecting so good she had to crack a window, did she hate the smell? no, But for the first hour I was nuclear, so 3 sprays is good! Edit, Ok, as I wore this again, I get an invictus opening, and the dry down is similar to ‘Suvauge so in the end it is not quite linear. The pepper shows up much later.

I love Sauvage EDP, regardless of how 'overplayed' people say it is, its a fantastice fragrance. So when I was looking for some cheaper alternative to add to my collection I figured I'd try Hunter Intense. It really is a combination of Invictus and Sauvage. I thought it was a bit too sweet for me at first and almost gave the bottle to my 16yo son (who loved it immediately), but I decided to try it a few times. The initial sweetness does calm down after a bit, but still hangs around enough to give the fragrance a different feel than Sauvage, but it retains the warmness and sophistication of Sauvage while remaining playful and more casual. This could easily be the perfect everyday / all purpose fragrance and I see this as a great casual alternative to Sauvage that could easily be a great date night / club fragrance. The performance is top notch, while the sillage is not obnoxiously strong. Easy blind buy for the price

As someone commented below: this is a Frankenstein's monster. Hunter Intense (I have the Eau de Parfum version) is a mixture of famous designer blue fragrances and rightly so belongs in the blue fragrance category. To my nose, scent-wise, the scent DNA of Paco Rabanne Invictus Intense is the most prominent here, then comes next is YSL Y EDP, with hints of Dior Sauvage EDT and having the same (albeit faint) vibe as Bleu de Chanel EDT. With respect to versatility: it is more versatile than Dior Sauvage EDT but less versatile than Bleu de Chanel. This is more suitable for warmer climates. It is fresh and clean and without a doubt pleasant and mass-appealing. Average projection: radiates within a radius of 4-5 feet for about 1-2 hours. Average longevity: 5-8 hours.

03/2022 batch-the weakest fragrance I know. After layering with vaseline and 01 12 sprays were smellable for less than 1 hour. Edit:After macerating it for a whole year, it's a BEAST. 12 hours+, 2-3 sprays is enough. This fragrance is the biggest showcase of maceration influence in Middle Eastern fragrances. Now I absolutely adore it and am a little upset that I didn't buy a backup bottle. For 15$ that I paid for it, the quality is amazing. I would say it's 20-30% Invictus/60-70% Sauvage. Not really unique, but this combo gets great feedback and smells very pleasant to my nose. I also live the fact that I don't really get noseblind to it, and can smell it for a whole day. I've completely changed my mind about this fragrance. For the price, I'd rate it a 10/10.

This is my first review and I will try to keep it as simple and accurate as possible. This is simply 80% invictus, and 20% sauvage. You would think they wouldn't go well together but they actually do. This is a mass-appealing and best blue scent i've smelled (I own all three sauvage, ysl y and bleu channel) Originality: 7/10 Longevity: 6/10 (Becomes a skin scent after 1.5hours) Projection: 8/10 (Definitely fills up a small room but still not beast mode projection) Compliment getter: 10/10 (Have gotten loads of compliments on this one as it is mass-appealing) Overall, I think this is a must-have for anyone looking to buy it. Dont hesitate, blind buy it you wont regret it. Performance way better than invictus and slightly better or similar to sauvage.

I really like Hunter Intense. I have tried Invictus and Sauvage before and liked them moderately but IMHO this one is better. Invictus was always a little too 'flat' and aquatic for me. Sauvage felt like a variation on the Aventus theme with peppery notes instead of a smoky one, bergamot instead of pineapple. This one has great performance, though it starts off a little synthetic like all Armaf fragrances. It's got that peppery floral note with a combination of citrus and cardamom up top. I am also a big fan of vetiver fragrances after the first cologne that got me into this hobby - Terre D'Hermes. This cologne has a great vetiver and woodsy basenote too. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially for the price I paid at around 22$.

The dry-down on this is fuuuuuuuuuckin' GORGEOUS! My lady LOVES this fragrance; rating it a 9/10 on the opening, and 9.5 on the dry-down. To me, the vanilla-rich, creamy, caramel-y dry-down smells like a females hair, after a professional wash, cut, blow-dry and style. I told my lady and she enthusiastically agreed. DAMN! 😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥 Hunter Intense is LEAGUES better than Paco Rabanne Invictus! I have Invictus; I loved Invictus. I DESPISE the pointless, reformulated 2020+ batches, but the older bottles are exceptional. Paco Rabanne kill their reputation every time they water-down their fragrances, paving the way for brands like Armaf, who have something to prove, and consistently hit home-runs

Damn this is actually good. To me, this is more of a Invictus Platinum combined with Dylan Blue. I do not smell similarity with Sauvage. This is a very clean and “deep” blue scent. It opens up similar to Invictus-ish dna, quite similar to Armaf Odyssey Aqua (my other armaf favorite). It dries down to a very fresh bubble gum scent profile similar to Dylan Blue. It is very fresh and versatile. This can be a very great alternative to dylan blue or Invictus. I am happy with this scent. It takes a while for the juice to mature, and when it does, it turns into a very fresh, clean, and old school dna. You can overspray this as the scent is inoffensive and mass pleasing, cheap too.

If you like invictus than you will love this. To me its Invictus with an added citrus and tiny bit of pepper. Very mass appealing and last decently long. Smells very similar to a mixture of Coolwater Parfum and Hawas Mixed. I layered the two and it was 85% like Hunter Intense. I don't get the Sauvage Comparison as I don’t get the prominent Shower gel like ambroxan from it. But CoolWater Parfum is basically a Ambroxanless Sauvage. So don’t get this thinking its a good Sauvage Alternative, because its more Invictus than Sauvage! Price 10/10 Smell 9/10 Projection 6/10 Longevity 7/10 Overall 8/10 if you like the Invictus dna than this is blind buy safe

Banger. Simple as that. A blend between Sauvage and Invictus, but leans more towards the Invictus camp. Smells better and less synthetic than Invictus though, which surprised me. Smoother than Invictus, less "plasticky". This smells quality considering the price tag. I still like Sauvage more, but i can also say that a lot of people who dislike the "metallic" thing Sauvage has but still likes the DNA will enjoy Hunter Intense. Lasts a lot too, more than Sauvage and Invictus actually and it can be a room filler if you overspray this. Out of all the clones of this DNA, i find Hunter Intense to be the best of them all, period.

*** This review is for the EDP *** (haven't tried the EDT) I get the comparisons to Sauvage and Invictus but I think Hunter Intense EDP is unique enough to be considered its own thing. It has the sweetness of Invictus with the spicy/freshness of Sauvage, but dials both back a bit and introduces a subtle green element (which I love). It smells really good, performs fine, and has 24/7/365 versatility. Considering all that combined with the low cost this is one of the safest blind buys out there and probably my #1 dumb reach fragrance. The only drawback is the weird bottle, but who cares about that.

So I really loved this one when I first got it, but I noticed after sitting for some time it actually smells sort of sour now or just off compared to when I first got it. It's rare in my experience for maceration to be a negative and not a positive. Real shame because at one point I considered it to be a top notch dumb reach. I still like it just no longer a love. Also I've had issues with the Hunter line where both Hunter and Hunter Intense atomizer base started flaking and chipping leaving little metallic flakes all over.

Here are the notes The refreshing top notes create a surprising burst of citrus with notes of bergamot, mandarin, grapefruit and lemon. As these scents start to settle, the floral heart takes shape through intoxicating notes of ylang ylang, geranium, lavender, tuberose, cardamom and lavender. The heart has an edginess to it thanks to the black pepper that accompanies the floral bouquet. The settling fragrances of the cologne create a warm, grounded finish with base notes of patchouli, cedar wood, musk, labdanum and vetiver.

After Going through so many YouTube videos recommending this , finally I decided to blind buy it . I was Surprised by the similarity to Invictus in the opening , and I also got some of that ambroxin from Dior Sauvage. After few hours , it suddenly changed into Sauvage . I wouldn't say 100 percent similar , but to an untrained nose , definitely it'll smell like Sauvage . Best scent for the summer time. One of the Best blind buys I did . definitely in my top 5 blue fragrances . Armaf makes good clones.

This is a great fragrance (my wife always compliments me), but is a little weak (stays around 4hs on my skin and 5-6hs on clothes). The projection is good for 1h, then is a skin scent. Its one of my favorite fragrances, however its kind a weak and I dont wear that much. It does have a small amount of invictus on it, but a lot more Sauvage. I smelled Sauvage in a store and is very close to my nose (my wife even said it was the same for her). For the price is definitely worth it.

So Armaf Hunter Intense.... seems a hybrid of Diors Sauvage and to my nose Paco Rabannes Invictus. Seems that Armaf were looking to bring both popular elements together and thumbs up, they did it and a great job too. Good performance and lasts a fair amount of time. Well done Armaf. Would love them to try their hand at mixing Sauvage and Aventus together (X-Batch Killer) in a similar vein to what they did with Le Parfait (Green Irish + Aventus).... just saying =)

Nothing like combining the two most F-boy scents in existence in an unholy fusion to create Frankenstein's Compliment Monster. If you wear tank tops to social gatherings just like I used to do, then this is for you. Wanna go to the BBQ and act like a huge douche bag? 4 sprays of this should do the trick. In all seriousness though this stuff is a good dumb reach with solid 8h longevity and strong sillage for the first 2-3h. This is a guilty pleasure of mine.

It's just like what everyone here has said so far. It starts off like invictus and ends up like suavage. It surprised me a bit because the quality is pretty good. It lasts a long time, the projection is not beast mode but its not bad. The price is stellar. I think its a win win. Its not something unique but if you're looking at this one it doesn't matter because you're after something in the invictus/suavage realm which is inexpensive and smells good.

It's the best of both worlds like everyone's already said. Gives you the playfulness of Invictus BUT shifts gears at just the right moment into the maturity of Sauvage. Right when Invictus starts to do It's bubblegum guitar solo Sauvage kicks it off the stage and goes into a Rap freestyle. Lasts a long time & smells great. This scent is also really versatile because of its marriage between Invictus/Sauvage. I'd give it a 24/7-365 stamp of approval.

I love this one. A sweet, masculine fragrance. Definitely reminds me of Sauvage. Sweet, fruity, and floral. Opens strong, but dries down relatively quickly to a light powdery skin scent that you occasionally catch a whiff of. Strong projection at the open but calms down. Office appropriate. Overspray, spray on clothing, or reapply later in the day, as this lasts four hours, tops, on skin. Hard to beat for 20 bucks. Would I buy again? Yes.

easily one of the best perfume that I ever bought yes it's it has some of the weakness but for the price and how it is really suit to myself as a university student is outstanding Yes like lots of reviewer before me.. it smells like Invictus combined with sauvage but the only weakness is it's not really strong. Like it's a good thing because it it won't hurt my head but at the same time i just cant smell it anymore after 1 hour or more

An aromatic freshie, a bit green + a light leather note. Could be described as leathery flanker of Hawas. That is a very good company for Hawas, Invictus, Sauvage, and YSL Y, but absolutely not a clone. Get it if you like or have any of the aforementioned. I have got Sauvage EDT, Y Live and Hawas among dozens of other frags. Also bought this. Does not feel redundant at all. Good for warm and moderately cool weather 24/7.

This really is a fairly even mix between Savauge and Invictus. It smells awesome too! It doesn't change a whole lot over time it just kind of fades out. It has awesome longevity, and decent projection and silliage. This may be the most classy version of anything with the Invictus DNA. It could be signature scent worthy for some. It works for all events occasions, and seasons. Excellent fragrance that's hard to beat.

Hunter intense EDP is leagues better than Prada Luna Rossa Carbon, as well as others in the same category, which speaks VOLUMES! It annihilates MontBlanc Legend Spirit; I have MontBlanc Legend Spirit, and used to love it. But this beauty has retired that too, and now I really don't like it. I find it extremely two dimensional😖 Hunter Intense EDP is TOP-TIER, and it's MEGA cheap!! I'm still stunned!😳👏🏾

To me it feels more like Invictus Aqua mixed with YSL Y. It's insanely good tho. I blind bought it and was not disappointed, and I'll definitely buy it again. Lasts all day, projects decently without filling a room up, gets me loads of compliments. I also believe it works in every season but is definitely more of a Spring/Summer vibe. Will definitely keep it in my rotation.

This is a Gem, honestly, no room for complaints I bought it for 21 USD, and in terms of smell, yes it resembles Invictus not invictus Aqua ; like 90%, my wife can't tell the difference, and it lasts a lot longer. I live in Dubai so the summer here is like oven hot, but this gem shines in this weather. I cant smell the similarity with Sauvage. if you like invictus get it.

This has grown on me so much my batch is from 07/2021 and it is the EDP version and it has beastmode performance remains on my skin for 24+ hours and projects heavy for a couple hours. It kind of smells like Invictus in the opening but in the dry down it is Sauvage but not as harsh and a bit sweeter. Girls love this scent and I get tons of compliments.

Did a blind buy and don't regret it. Initially it gives a very smooth, sweet yet spicy citrus mix, and then over time the mandarin orange becomes more prominent for me. It lasts long but unfortunately doesn't project much. This doesn't seem like a very unique fragrance, but it smells good for any occasion and safe as a blind buy.

This is such a hidden gem in the frag world✨👌 Long lasting, wore this to work in the morning had a meeting with my divisional head at 5pm and he complimented me on the fragrance (10 hours after i sprayed it)😶🌫️ I get compliments whenever I wear this to the club especially from ladies Scent 8/10 (note my bottle was a 2018 batch)

I'm not the biggest fan of the opening, as it is a bit on the sweeter side and I'm not the biggest sweet fragrance fan. But, the dry down is fantastic. Fresh, with a very mild spiciness to it. Can be worn in all season, but I think Autumn suits it best. For the price this is unbeatable.

On my skin is 5/10. Tried it many times and tries to like it because the reviews are good. But just don't smell very good on me. Then later tried it on my shirt, okay, now I get why people like it. It's a fruitier version of Dylan Blue as other reviewers mentioned. On cloth is 8/10.

I expected a type of mix between Sauvage and something like Invictus but I'm getting all Sauvage. I would call it a fresher take on the Sauvage DNA. It's great I love everything about it. It smells great, projects and last. It's so inexpensive I think I paid like $16 (USD).

I love that smooth creamy vanilla. I will say this is the best invictus dupe for now. But it actually smoother than invictus. The projection is good and it won't punch you in the face. I can see why this is could potentialy be a signature scent. Worth for the blind buy.

I already wrote a review on this, but I have to add this. I've gotten more compliments from this than anything. It checks all the boxes. It has exceeded expectations for me. Sweet, but fresh enough for summer with awesome performance and projection.

Best part about this is that you get Invictus and Dior Sauvage, two mass appealing fragrances, rolled in one. And for the price point, this performs incredibly well. If you’re having second thoughts, just go on and get it.

This is one of those dumb reach for work. I’m still surprised it still gets compliments. It’s good but great layered with TF Eau d’ombre leather. Gives it a blue leather feel. Reminds me of Bleu De Chanel L’Exclusif

Opens up very fresh and clean and then transitions to a nice fresh and spicy smell and stays linear from there on. Really nice, versatile, inoffensive and inexpensive. Would highly recommend as a blind buy.
