Island Bliss

I love this. I love perfumes that keep developing with time. At first It smelled like a coconut milk and wild berries smoothie.. or maybe like an airy berry pie.. Then after like two minutes it became to my nose like a fresh smooth coconut water flavoured with orange blossom and a tiny bit of wild berries and grass, with the scent of ocean seaweed and sea salt and coconut fruits blowing my way. Indeed like on an island.. The orange blossom isnt overpowering, it just add to the creamyness, but I could smell white florals done very smoothly .. Then it develops into a very powdery and very sweet earthy vanilla and coconut, which I love and dont perceive as cloying cause it's very powdery and a li'l smokey because of tonka bean I really do think this takes me to an island where I am very close to shore, with my dog at my feet and a man i love serving me coconut drinks, and like the queen I am, I am sipping on the drink while the cool breeze is going through the trees and then through my hair. Vacation in a perfume bottle. Perfumes are real magic potions I think this is very unisex and maybe even masculine leaning but I love it still very much and would definitely wear it. Because yes, i do get what the comment below me is saying about how this smells like the shirt of a man mixed with a coconut drink, it could be perceived that way too, I started getting this feel the second time I sprayed this.. that is what to me is smelling like seaweed and a proximity to the shore too I think it is because men's colognes used to be and often still are centered around green notes and ocean breeze notes.. But none of these men's Perfumes smelled like ocean breeze to me, even when I bought them cause they were specifically said to be evoking that scent. They smelled like straight up cold metal. Very headache inducing This one does smell like an ocean or island.. no metallic notes.. I love wearing a beachy oceanic smell I actually looked hard to find a few that actually smelled like that, like olympea intense by Paco rabanne and agua del sol by escada.. theres also sexy graffiti by Escada.. but these were more feminine leaning to my nose than this one, probably cause coconut brings an element of nutyness that is more grounding or meaty.. Anyways Not everything has to be so very sweet and pink in my collection.. and this is coconut done with the perfect amount of sweetness according to me. .. And it very much smells like vacation.. My favourite coconut perfume Only after the coconut water note done in cloud pink . they are both not-too-sweet coconut Perfumes..

Nah Armaf is not playing around😂😂😂. And somehow the fragrance supersedes even the packaging. A gorgeous tropical fragrance. Before I got it I thought it might be in the le beau direction but it definitely isn’t. Seems to be a creation, if it is inspired by a designer do let me know cuz its nothing like I’ve smelt before. Honestly more than anything I’m surprised by the quality of the fragrance. Really nice smooth tropical coconutty type fragrance. I wish it lasted a touch longer but I know that differs from person to person. Still performance is not bad and for the first 4 hours the projection is excellent.

Loved it from the first time I tried it. Love the coconut in it. Reminds me of a tropical vacation. and makes me smile when I put it on. Sweet, creamy, with some florals. So lovely! Don't know about the sillage or longevity yet as I just got it today.. but it will definitely be part of my summer scents!

Was pleasantly surprised as I loved it from first spray no harsh synthetic notes , pleasant sweet tropical flowers and coconut with slightly creamy tone . It settles on vanilla it's smooth and well blended very good for value it could be a Kayali vacay in a bottle fragrance .

Watery, fruity (lots of berries), sweet coconut scent. It's very long lasting, with enormous sillage but maintains an airy feel. I get some salt, even though it's not in the note. Quite unique and tropical.

I love this perfume. Its very sweet with berry and coconut notes. It goes really well with lait de coco by le Monde Gourmand, or with Cheriosa 39 by sol de janerio.

This is reminiscent of those strawberry Campino candies: a touch of sugared berries and sweet cream. The cream is smooth and powdery.

I found the bottle quite cute and reminiscent of Anna Sui's perfume bottles. The scent itself isn’t bad, but it shifts quite often during wear, making it hard to pin down and is likely what is responsible for the polarizing opinions. For some odd reason, I didn't detect much coconut. In fact, 'tropical' does not make it anywhere near my list of descriptors. Instead, I ended up smelling what I'd describe as a berry pie. The person I was with at the time corroborated this, saying I smelled like I'd just bought a box of a dozen berry danishes.

This is such a unique coconut fragrance. It is not sweet at all which I absolutely love for the summer. It’s sensual warm coconut, powdery green, and smooth milky notes. This was a blind buy and wow!!! So impressed. It smells like a tropical spa, I can smell the breeze, the coconuts, everything!

Estoy decepcionada, estuve muy ilusionada con este perfume y emocionada por qué llegara, me quedé con la idea de que sería super emocionante porque me dejé llevar por quienes dicen que es como una estar en una playa, sentir todo tan fresco y tropical, y sí, tiene su toque tropical supongo pero, no me llevó a ninguna playa y eso me entristeció, esperaba que durara un poco más pero la proyección es un poco débil, en realidad sí huele bien, me gusta el perfume, pero esperaba más

The bottle alone is a nice touch to your collection. It's very cute and looks more appealing in person. The projection for me is pretty intimate. It's not a beast mode fregrance but it does smell nice. I think the price point is a little high though

I don’t really like this perfume but I have to say that it’s really interesting. The way it changes during the few hours before disappearing intrigues me a lot. It doesn’t remind me of anything close to an island (and when you think about an island you are more likely to think about a tropical one, at least mediterranean). Well the only island it reminds me of is a nordic, cold one. To me, it has nothing close to coconuts/tropical fruits/tropical flowers/marine notes, so if you expect this, don’t buy it. It’s not sweet or warm, it’s very, very lactonic, musky, earthy and I can say that I can feel the green notes. It almost smells bitter but not in an almondy way. My honest opinion is that if a pure white marble vase would have a specific scent, it would be this one. It’s really interesting, but not easy to like. And the funny thing is that the first 30 min in the opening I can feel a fresh, green scent and it would be suitable for a summer day but after an hour it changes into a heavy, lactonic, earthy scent and it’s clearly more suitable for an autumn evening

Listen, blind buying this perfume with this bottle and expecting a super sophisticated scent is silly and if you know Armaf fragrances, you know they usually have something polarizing. This is a very "fun" scent that is perfect for the summer. Is it a bit "air freshener" like? Yes. I find the water lilly note very strong here and I can see overspraying will make this nauseating. The coconut is also strong here so I can see why it might be polarizing, it tries to be a gourmand but also a heavy floral and green at the same time. It's not bad, I got it for the bottle to be honest but I will use this at the gym or for errands. The drydown is nicer than the opening.

I don’t know if I got fakes (I bought the 35ml travel sprays) but this is vile. It’s like a middle aged man, already smelling of Old Spice and farts, spilled a Pina Colada down his shirt. 😞 It has a tropical vibe, with the pineapple and coconut, but like sooooooo many Arabian perfumes, is ruined by the god awful musk! Why the hell would anyone put musk in a fruity perfume?!! And why do none of the ‘influencers’ mention that?!! Could have been lovely but for me it’s unwearable.

I must've been sent a bottle from a bad batch, because all I smell is air freshener gone bad! No coconuts, no beach, no cream, only green sweetness gone sour... Letting it rest for 2 months is slowly getting it better. Hopefully I'll get to smell all the coconuts everyone talks about...

This is one of the most unpleasant fragrances.I have ever had the displeasure of putting on a scent strip. From the description and the gorgeous bottle I definitely thought I was on my way to a tropical vacation via a wonderful perfume experience. Instead, as soon as I sprayed it, it smelled like an oddly fruity cologne. I figured I would wait a week or so because it had just been delivered and I would try it again. Somehow, it seems to have actually gotten worse. So far, my experiences with this perfume house have been nothing but negative and I don't know if I'll ever be trying any of their scents again. In my personal opinion, the influencers have gotten out of control with how they pander to these houses as many of them are paid spokespersons. It doesn't bother me that people sell products as reps. What does bother me is when I spend my hard earned money on something with a specific description and it smells nothing like it.

I just hate myself for buying even a 10 ml decant. Reading the reviews I didn't expect a milky, sweet coconutty fragrance, but the bug spray effect hit me so hard and unexpectedly. In the head notes I recognize an earthy, spoiled cheap 2$ drogerie eau de toilette. Right after rotten white florals in high concentrate take over the place, and this is the part where I wish I had brought another perfume with me to cover up this awful smell. After 30 mins some coconutty, lactonic elements become recognizeable, but the unpleasant sharp cheapness always stays. It's among those perfumes, where I constantly afraid about what people think about how I smell :D I've experienced this maybe once or twice in my life, so this is a really big fragrance mistake for me.

There are WAY better coconut scents out there. You can skip this completely. I am not excited in the slightest about this. So much so that I don’t even want to finish the 5ml decant I bought.

this blue one is a bit nauseating for me... there is a top and middle note which is slightly pissy - very faint - but i cant feel good about it. it possibly isnt pissy but that is my impression. otherwise this scent is in the melon fruity realm, not a great one, but i would say test it, i tewssted it when i was skin testing others so give it a proper go

Not a fan! Not bad, but nothing special. Smells like generic sweet arab perfume. Indint get tropical vibes, just sweet and powdery artifical coconut with something

Unfortunately, I don't smell any of the island/milkshake notes, just lots of musk. It's not terrible, but not my vibe either.
