How on earth are any of you guys comparing this to Chrome legend is literally baffling my brain so bad that it hurts, it hurts even more to compare this to Jaguar amber. Come on guys... Are you guys trolling for for the sake of it? This is not a freshie, and if you compare the pyramids in both Chrome legend/Jaguar Amber, there are some main notes missing in both.This is a dark, gasoline, nutty type of scent that works best on the colder days. This is almost an exact copy of Franck Olivier Oud, Or Guerlain L’homm ideal, but a less sweeter and very intense version of that. Ignore the pyramid, it says there is bergamot, you do not get that in this. The main notes that are the most prevalent in this bottle is the “Iris” first and foremost, patchouli, liquorice, and musk. Any other notes get drowned out by the notes I’ve mentioned. Genetlmen, trust me with what I’m saying to you here. The petrol vibe in this is like Fahrenheit cologne but just does it a different way, it is not a clone, just want to be clear about that. I own chrome legend and jaguar amber. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ALIKE. I’m giving this an 8/10, I’d give this a 9, but because it’s so strong and smells the way it does, it doesn’t leave a lot of room for versatility. If you like scents with a strong emphasis on Iris, grab this, you won’t be disappointed. The longevity and silage in this is outstanding too. Maybe the word outstanding is not strong enough. I sprayed this at 3:30pm and it’s 1:15 in the morning, just took a shower before going to bed, and somehow I still smell this on me. The strength is ridiculously strong, I sprayed 4 times, keep that in mind. My online provider is selling the bottle for 11$ for a 100ml?! I can’t wrap my head around the value for my money.

To my nose, I get a fresh green herbal licorice heart with the base of Mont Blanc Legend. As it dries, to me it turns into Legend more and more. It keeps that piquant herbal heart pretty much the whole time. I'm also thinking there is a hidden note of apple not listed, but it could just be the bergamot and basil/sage mixture. I love this as a summer work scent. You can easily rock this dressed up or down. Super versatile. This is an excellent fragrance in the Armaf line. It's a sleeper hit and by the looks of these reviews, some people are put off by what they are getting. If you like Creed Bois Du Portugal and other mature green scents that are sophisticated and safe for formal/office wear, than you should like this. This is a fresh modern take on a an herbatious and watery green scent. It's super refreshing and zesty in the opening without using entirely citruses. Instead you get a gorgeous mix of basil, violet, and liqourice. This could easily pass as some new Creed scent if it had a slightly better musk in the base and was blended slightly better. Some people might think they're getting a rasberry/leather accord in here, but they are not. The basil, violet and licorice are mixing together to give a slightly waxy and slight vanillic accord. It is mixed with the bergamot and sage that gives you a very uplifting fruity leather feel, but it's overall much brighter than tuscan leather. I don't really feel this scent comes off as super leathery, it's too bright for that. In 2005 there were plenty of scents that had a strong anise and/or licorice notes, there was Eau du Badian L'Occitane, Diesel Fuel for Life, there was a star anise fresh green scent by PacSun. This isn't anything new necessarily, but it is well done.

When I first sprayed it, it reminded me of Burberry Brit Rhythm! But it reminds me of Brit Rhythm less as it dries down. Some say this reminds them of Azzaro Chrome, but I don't get that similarity. However, I do find it has similarities with many different scents from very different genres, such as Mercedes-Benz Intense, Fahrenheit Aqua, Givenchy Gentlemen Only, Diesel Only the Brave, Afnan Highness White, and most importantly Bleu de Chanel. The incense vibe in this scent is SO STRONG! It's almost like a Bleu de Chanel clone took a turn for the worse (but in the very best way, because I do like this scent)! I would describe this as a "heavy dark freshy". It's a fresh scent that's also heavy, loud projecting, and long lasting. There really isn't much in that category in my collection, besides Mercedes-Benz Intense and Chopard 1000 Miglia. All in all, the composition is VERY UNIQUE and VERY VERY GOOD! Also, this isn't too dirty to my nose, it has a crisp clean finish in the nose, in spite of being a darker set of notes and the abundance of incense. Being completely honest, this could've been released by Givenchy or Burberry or Coach and it would've been a staple in their offerings! But instead, people are relying on reviews to guess what to expect when they blind buy it, and I think that leaves a lot of people let down since this is so unique. Smell this scent with absolutely zero expectations besides the incense, and you will likely find yourself pleasantly surprised. This scent is a sleeper. This will be a great Spring and Fall scent for me. This is a scent you could wear on any occasion, however it's definitely not going to be a scent for everyone.

Not sure if I like this one.. Does anyone else feel it smells like grandma's purse? Lipstick and leather? Is this what this is supposed to smell like? Blind bought it because many reviews here and elsewhere said it smells like Tuscan Leather. Not having tried Tuscan leather either, i was pretty unsure of what to expect.. To my nose this one's really feminine. Does anyone else second that or am i wrong here? Edit: Gave it a couple of wears and I am starting to really appreciate this juice. Has a Brut-ish dry down with spicy (Star Anise?) undertones. The opening is not something i am really a fan of but past the 30 min. mark this is really wonderful.

The person who compared this perfume with Azzaro Chrome legend has serious olfactory problems! Armaf definitely tried to clone Tuscan Leather! TL and Italiano Uomo go through the same channel only that they lack the rasberry note! It is not an exact clone but they have their similarities! I only paid $ 13 dollars for it, so I'm not going to complain about its quality! moderate prjecion and on my skin lasted about 9 hours!

@Wizzdoom no buddy TF TL smells sweet and leathery. very few noses can take it. The sweetness is due to the raspberry and the leather here which smells like cricket ball piched after a couple of overs. That is the reason why I find it similar to Italiano uomo. whereas chrome is sharp synthetic tea note, some thing like classic black from Jaguar. This is my nose and my honest opinion.

This is Tuscan Leather by Armaf I have a small decant of Tuscan leather which I use on special occassions and trust me on this this smells exactly like that to my nose. Fellow fragranticans kindly give your feedbacks on this so to second it or let me know that the decant of TF TL is a fake..

@fraggy_man I dont know how TF TL smells like, but to me this one surely smells very similar to chrome legend. Does TF TL smells like chrome legend?

A unique fragrance with pronounced fresh mint, violet, and slight licorice scent. Not sure if these have the PD and the ED printed at the bottom or original box but this one had neither. The bottom of the cap topper was also sticky and fear it might be pretty dated.

Green and herbaceous, combined with stale cigarettes butts. Interesting on some levels, but not very versatile and not a mass-pleasing (not fresh or sweet) scent IMHO.

I don't detect the leather note at all to be frank and there is none listed for that matter. The dry down is completely a mix of amber and violet(floral). The comparison to TF TL is quite far fetched and i think the comparison to even Chrome legend is streaky at best as well. On a separate note, the first blast is as expected a melange of scents. After 5 minutes the violet and amber settle down to take eminence. Longevity is fine going at 6 to 7 hours, silage is strong for the first two hours and then settles down after three hours. It is as the name suggests, decidedly "Italian" in its overall performance. I do not like pure amber scents, but the composition of this one makes it a tad different. I liked it and will continue to use for day and evening wear!

There is no leather in this! It is a very very dry (violet and sage ) Italian-style cologne. It is like Chrome Legend, as has been stated. Why they would emulate that is beyond me. The real thing is the same price as this. It is a chemical, astringent smell and unpleasant to me. I do not get leather in this at all. I gifted it. I almost gave it to my father, but I did not want it smell it again. Smell 1/10 It is just not my style at all. Projection 7/10 It is loud to my nose. Longevity I do not know. I showered quickly. Presentation 9/10 The bottle is beautiful. Great sprayer, like all Armafs. Very nice looking.

This is more of an odor. It's really strong and smells heavily of something kind of off-putting. Maybe this goes into Kouros territory, not that it smells like it, but you know something pungent that could be from another country or culture that just doesn't sit well to my nose. I can't get any scent relation other than old paper or something. Sorry Armaf, I love many of your fragrances, but this one just isn't there for me yet. Maybe it will grow on me.

Whatever they tried to compose here, it doesn't work. Sorry, but this metallic, ozonic mess is just awful. It singes the nose hairs in the opening before drying down to a scent I can only compare to mould itself. The comparisons to Tuscan Leather are laughable. Very disappointed in this as Armaf usually do good fragrances. Impossible to wear.

Linear smell. Horrible synthetic leather note from start to finish. If you ever smelled leather air freshener In the shape of a Christmas tree you've smelled this fragrance. Scent 0 Longivity 8 Projection 9 If anyone wants to try it message. i have a full bottle I will never use it. We can trade.

I own 15 Armaf fragrances and this is by far the worst of them all. Im not quite sure what they were trying to accomplish with this one. At first sniff it KIND OF reminded me of Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. Not in any way a "clone" but it had that vibe. Pepper, basil, and some leather notes. And that vibe lasted for a total a 10 minutes or less. After the 10 minute mark it fell apart for me. Have you ever squished an Asian Lady Beetle (Ladybugs)? That yellow discharge they release when squished is exactly what this fragrance turned into. Squish a bunch of Asian Lady Beetles in an old ashtray and then rub that on your skin. I dont know if I got a bad batch or what. All i know is that this fragrance is the most horrendous odor I have ever smelled. I cant judge the longevity or sillage as I had to scrub this off the back of my hand. Ive heard that after first spray you should leave it for a month and try again so I will do that and update my review later. It was only like $20 on fragrancex so its not really a big loss for me. Hopefully it will "macerate" to a better scent, and if not I will throw it directly in the garbage. I would be ashamed of myself to even gift this to any other human being. It smells like cigarettes and this is my #1 worst Armaf fragrance without question. If I put in overt effort I can definitely pick out the basil and the licorice root "aftertaste" which is admittedly interesting and is the best part of this fragrance. But it's dark, smoky, and incense-like and in my opinion a good fragrance should not take an overt effort to find something to appreciate in it. I would definitely prefer to go out just clean-showered than smelling like cigarettes so this gets my first-ever 1 star.

Hi friends, blind bought this and worn a few times and was really excited based on some of the reviews below. From the bottle, dry and dusty woods, incense and vetiver being prominent. On skin, This doesn't use citrus for its fresh component but rather green herbs instead. The result is... refreshing! but I would urge caution around blind buying and using. This ain't no invictus aqua. This is linear, so incense herbs and woods is on you beginning to end. Projection is ok in the first hour but not a beast. There's a sharpness to this that I have never come across in armaf or any other fragrance. Almost to the point that my initial impression each time I wear it is disbelief that this is a perfume vs. The scent of a metal poker just finished moving wood cinders in room full of traditional incense. This could be a signature because of the lack of sweetness. And because the herbal component blends well with my body chemistry. This is great for hanging with friends or to put on for work as it is no nonsense and nothing cute or bright. Originality full marks. Versatility is great for mature types of any age who like green herbal fragrances. Works for me! Especially if you think green is more versatile than blue fragrances which i do.

The reviews here are so entertaining how so many people get a different smell... Chrome Legend, Tuscan Leather, Burberry Brit, etc. Apparently folks this is one of those fragrances that people are gonna smell differently... No need to argue or accuse someone of having a bad sense of smell. Maybe there's different batches and whatever. But we smell what our brain tells us we smell. We are different folks more than you may realize. Especially our abilities or lack thereof to detect different notes sense of smell from the top notes to the dry down. So stop calling people crazy or a liar just coz they smell notes completely different than you. In fact ladies often have a stronger sense of smell so there you go. So bottom line is if you really want to know the smell of this fragrance you'll need to either buy or sample it. As for me I think it's kinda unique but does have a little bit of many scents I own. It's sometimes lighter and crisp and other times darker. I think the weather plays a role with this one and that also could be the wide range of opinions.

wow this one is really messing with peoples heads on here, the comments are all over the place. I bought this some time ago in the summer and tried it and thought mmm not very much. Anyway i thought as i was bored the other day i would give it a try and on opening the top noticed all the metalic covering on the sprayer had melted of eeek! maybe a COSHH assessment required. Well i gave it another try and mmmm very nice sweet Amberry & powerdery smell so obviously likes the spring time, the missus came in and gave me a compliment aswell :) I found that cooler weather makes this shine and increases the projection and the longevity to what i would call normal levels of up to 6 hours on the skin and next day on clothes. however the bottle coverings are slowly rotting away and the same is happening to one of my other armafs wich is Radical Brown. Pleased i gave it a 2nd chance

Well I just received this cologne on Wednesday, I've seen reviews on YouTube and people have said that it smells like Tom Fords Tuscan Leather, while I have never smelled Tom Fords Tuscan Leather, because I have 3 teenagers that break my budget! LOL! I don't think Tom Ford would put anything out like this, it doesn't smell bad if you like Violet, this scent is fir you, the opening is VERY off putting, but give it a good 10 to 15 minutes, I sprayed this on at 4 30am, at 3 30 pm my youngest daughter said what are you wearing its very flowery, hence the violet. Again not a bad scent, just a side note I am a heavy sprayer so that's why I got about 10 hours. It is not one of Armafs better fragrances but its ok, so to recap if you like violet its great, but this will be a Saturday running errands for me scent!

Fragrance I own and recommend! Armaf Italiano Uomo Aromatic, amber, fresh spicy, flora, powdery Day and night Middle East scent from India, ingredients combination of violet, bergamot and basil in the opening, then dries down with licorice, sage, lavender and some black pepper, to end up with amber labdanum, musk and patchouli. This frag has some vibe from Bleu de Chanel, but the generic vibe of it though! Great for office, date, meetings, maybe clubbing! And it lasts more than 10 hours longevity, along with that huge projection, and recommend it to all ages, try it and you see!

As entertaining Babbs Collection is, he has a bad sense of smell! So many fragrances he called 'clones' don't smell nearly similar. This is not a clone of Tuscan Leather and those blind buying this thinking it is, don't! Don't believe Babbs for any other reviews too if you're blind buying, do your research. Not saying it's a bad frag., just saying it isn't a clone. It does smell 'similar' to Chrome Legend.

This smells more similar to azzarro chrome legend, but better and less metallic and synthetic. I brushed this fragrance off too fast, but wearing it , it does have a very appealing scent. I could see this being a compliment getter. Its a very generic safe scent for sure, but done well. Its fruity, a tad spicy, has sweetness and freshness.

Italiano Uomo is not a clone of TF TL and smells nothing like it. To get the correct scent that is very similar to TM TL, you need to purchase a bottle of Italiano Nero Uomo which is in a mat black bottle with a silver top and it is nearly double the price of Italiano Uomo. Don't waste your money on this.

PEOPLE THIS SMELLS NOTHING LIKE TF TUSCAN LEATHER. THE ONLY PERSON WHO WOULD SUGGEST THAT IS SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER SMELLED TUSCAN LEATHER. I FEEL LIKE PEOPLE JUST MESS WITH THE VOTES ON FRAGRANTICA. NOTHING LIKE GIT, NOTHING LIKE TFTL, NOTHING LIKE LA YUKA. THIS SMELLS CLOSER TO AZZARO CHROME LEGEND.

I really love this frag, is just delicious, not a clone of anything that I know, I surely know, smells great, decent proyection, longevity and sillage, can be worn anytime, and I highly recommend it.

can someone here tells me about longevity and sillage is it worth to spend $50 on ebay,because i know that perfumes from ARMAF are just a water because scent last less then 30 sec.

Smells nothing like TF- TL. It's pungent and off putting to the average nose. However, it does smell like the inside of a cheap, very cheap (p)leather purse if that helps.

@jazz.love, Sorry, but Babbs is a joke. I don't take anyone who says they can clone every single fragrance out there, using only a few ingredients, seriously.

So... has anyone tried the Nero edition??? Italiano uomo Nero? Its a black bottle. Hmm... hopefully its better then these reviews!

To my nose it smells very similar to Sycodemore and Encre Nior with metalic touch.

Ledlight I have 6 armaf fragrance and all last a log time and great smell
