Italiano Vivo

RASPBERRY ROSE. Overall this is a raspberry rose scent, with the other notes serving to enhance the different aspects of raspberry & rose, which are present from beginning to end. I agree with reviewer AaHana below that it took a few months for the notes to pop up. I didn't care for this initially either, but after a year or so of dark storage following first sprays, I'm quickly falling in love. The raspberry here is fresh, bright & perfectly ripe, with faint touches of black-current & jasmine. While the rose here is a tea-rose with lemon-rose touches from geranium, velvety, musky touches from peony and a powdery touches from something near iris. There may be some similarities with Angel Nova Mugler, but this truly is a raspberry rose, and not a litchi rose. An hour into the drydown, the rose takes centre-stage, and it's incredible - velvety, deep & woody - I'm won over. This has fantastic performance for a year-round wearing experience. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

This fragrance was a blind buy for me after watching a review by Joy Amin. This has become my signature sent. I already finished a bottle and will be ordering multiple back ups.It's unique, I've never smelled anything like it. I got into fragrances a year ago and this was the one that made me want to try more. It's fruity, a bit floral, musky and powdery,it is slightly sweet without being cloying and a bit fresh. I have about 25 fragrances and this is the most complemented in my collection. I have never left the house wearing this and not receive a complement. It Lasts forever on skin and clothes (I can still smell it on my clothes even after laundry). It also projects very well!! Excellent for tropical countries (I live in Jamaica). Edit 9/13/22- Still my signature scent. I am on my 4th bottle now!!

Wow! This is my sixth Armaf fragrance and I loved them all, so I expected to love this one, too. But even with very high expectations, this one knocked my socks off. The raspberry is so crisp. It combines beautifully with the pink pepper to create an amazing clarity and definition. Unlike almost every other fruity floral I've tried, this isn't cloyingly sweet. This isn't a rose perfume by any standard, but the rose lies with the wood and musk as a base for the raspberry to sit upon. If you've avoided Armaf in the past because it's inexpensive, or because of its reputation as a clone brand, I can't recommend strongly enough that you give the brand a try.

Another winner from Armaf. The initial impression brings raspberry but not too sweet - it is dry and muted. This is not a gourmand perfume. You won't smell like peach melba raspberry sauce. Next, the cedar note dominates on my skin. I swear there is a wisp of oud as well, but the notes don't mention it. This was a bit disconcerting as I was expecting something sweeter, but I decided to wait it out to the drydown. Eventually the florals prevail, particularly the peony. They meld everything together into a soft feminine distinctly intriguing scent. After a few more wears, I can see this becoming a love.

This fragrance is definitely in my top 5, and the longevity is absolutely wonderful. It is the best combination of floral fresh I have ever smelt. But it's not your typical floral fresh that's rosey and crisp. Its soft, sweet and aquatic-like, with a hint of tartness from the raspberry. I have yet to smell anything like it! Also the notes are slightly off. I sell this fragrance at my work and the notes we receive from the manufacturer are the following: Rose, Musk, Peony, Amber, Jasmine, Vanilla, White Wood, Black Currant, Pink Pepper, Patchouli, Geranium, and Raspberry.

That raspberry just jumps out at me every time I wear this and not in the best way (at least not at first. It gets better once it sits on the skin about 30 minutes.) Really wish peach was in it as a top note instead so it'd be a bit sweeter. The raspberry/pink pepper combination gives it a slightly sour smell if its sprayed too often and can give you a headache. Other than that this fragrance is nice. I love most of Armaf's frags so I thought I'd give this one a shot. I'm not crazy about this one but the drydown scent makes it definitely wearable.

Oh my goodness!! The heat REALLY brought out this fragrance's true potential! The raspberry that was so sharp before is now so mellow and absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It's sweet still, but no longer has the sour edge that turned me off to it before. I noticed that it lasts longer on my skin now as well (although it still lasts longer on the clothes than the skin overall. I got about 4 hours on the skin compared to 6+ on my clothes). Great fragrance that I recommend trying while it's VERY HOT! :)

Oh wow!!! I love this! While I do smell the rose, I also get alot of raspberry, black currant and pink pepper! This is fabulous!!! I mean I really love it! This would be a safe one to gift or blind buy I think. It's really nice! It's a happy, fizzy, warmer weather, daytime scent. It's clean and crisp and juicy but not at all cloying. Delicious!

This is delicious. Juicy raspberry with undertones of rosy notes. Crisp and energizing with just enough musk for some sensuality. I LOVE IT! Projects arms length and lasts for a few hours before becoming a skin scent. I used 2 sprays to the top of each hand. When you move your hands the fragrance becomes very noticeable.

Love this fragrance, it is amazing the price is unbeatable, I want it for ever. It reminds me to Dior Absolutely Blooming, althought can not say it is a clone, GREAT FRAGRANCE, THIS IS ONE OF 3 Armaf fragrance I have and each smells high quality and expensive!

for the price its literally a STEAL.i tried it out, its like 22 dollars barely in my country, its fresh, sweet, fruity and clean scent that lasts 8 hours plus.i would definitely recommend this to women :)

Received 100 mL as part of a recent wonderful swap. Italiano Vivo is, to my nose, a conglomeration of scents that I've smelled before, but done so in a way that is very unique and isn't cloying. The raspberry/rose in the opening bring to mind Modern Muse Le Rouge. Unlike Le Rouge, which I tend to use as a layering scent, Italiano Vivo is complex enough to stand on its own. I think this is due in large part to the musk/vanilla base. The blackcurrant that is present in the opening brings to mind Si Passione, which I don't particularly care for on its own, either. As it begins to drydown (45 minutes to an hour), I notice less vanilla, and suddenly the cedar appears. What started as an "ok" opening moves into solid "like" territory with the revelation of a little wood boost. About 3 hours in, it’s gone from my wrists/forearms, so I ostrich myself into my shirt to sniff my bosom. Look, ya pervs, I wash my hands and wrists as often as every 30 minutes, so I’m sniffing a place that isn’t constantly getting washed all day long--don’t judge me. Ooo-la-la, hello raspberry woods. The vanilla and rose are barely there, watching from the stands, cheering on the wooded fruit play. Ten hours after applying, Vivo is still detectable from ostriching, though substantially faded (to be expected, durrrr). I can dig it. I know clone houses often get a bad rap, but don't sleep on Armaf, ya'll.

This was a blind buy for me and was keen on taking the risk as I have a deep love for raspberry note in a fragrance. Won't be lying, this one is more fun than a show stopper fragrance, smells a bit like raspberry & currnat flavoured candies and this is impression is held throughout (not the toothachingly kind tho). There are some woody notes but overall it is all about condensed sweet fruits to me, like a jam or a conserve with n o sugar added. Now, I do not find this complex enough to wear it on its own (Italiano Vivo is rather casual and one-dimensional to me) but I can see how layering this with some other stuff would produce brilliant results and add a cheeky childlike (not childish) attitude to other frags in my wardrobe. P.S Think it may be a clone for Givenchy Hot Couture edt which I own and is very close. P.S today it smells very fizzy on me, like raspberry cordial soda :)

I blind bought some Armafs because I was really impressed with Italiano Donna. Out of the 5 I have, this one is probably my least favorite. This scent is a great everything scent. Not too sweet, not too spicy, not too fresh. A great gift to give honestly. My only issue is that on my chemistry the woods and musk are amplified to the point where it smells very harsh. Something I rarely get with perfumes. There must be something in here that my chemistry is rejecting. On clothes this is a wonderful perfume, but very powerful. I only sprayed 4 times and I almost suffocated my partner for 7 hours! It projected an arm's length for a good 4 hours before settling down. I will finish this bottle as a room spray and not repurchase.

Tbh initially i didn't like it , it was too musky sour fragrance thn i kept this for few months without using it , now the notes got pop up , i can definitely smell rose and raspberry , it's beautiful now , the rose is fresh and bright , mixes with raspberry gives a bit sour bt fresh fruity opening n thn a musky base ..if u want something fresh juicy musky with a bit sour fragrance thn go for it ... it's like kind of daily sort of fragrance , nothing groundbreaking bt still nice for a office wear or casual occasions .. longitivity n projection are upto mark ..

Opens with strong alcoholic blast - hold your breath for the first fifteen or so minutes. If you're still alive, you'll get a just decent raspberry/musky scent...but only for an hour, tops - which is fine, because you'll be able to put on something better at that point. While the raspberry scent is there, it's ok. Honestly I've smelled worse. It isn't fresh or clean - and doesn't ring as a dupe for any other scent - so if you purchase because you think it'll smell like something pricier, you'll be left sorry you wasted $20.00 and should have gotten an espresso and biscotti instead.

I havent smelled Tresor Midnight Rose but they must smell identical. So whatever I think of Italiano Vivo must be true for Tresor Midnight Rose since their notes are identical. I knew already what the notes composition kinda smells like, but I bought if cuz I got curious and carried away by the "reminds me of" list which is not always accurate. Lacoste Pour Elle Magnetic? Hell NO. That one smells like a deep sweet tanning lotion, smooth, tropical and creamy. I dont know where that came from, totally different perfumes to my nose. Also no connection to Beyond Romance by RL, that one is deep and candy sweet, nothing fresh or sour. Despite the raspberry-rose common notes, its totally different as a whole. Everyone perceives perfumes differently and even with each wear your brain will search thru its database and find some other new relevant perfume, but I dont like ppl to be misled. The reason I always read the reviews describing how a scent smells like and I dont go just by the "reminds me of" list. This is screechy, slightly sour, crisp and bright reminiscent of the woody, sweet and tart vibe of Mon Paris or Shakira's Pop Rock, without the stinky pop cornish patchouli of these two. I am getting some dry pop corn sour vibe here from the black currant -jasmine- rose combo here, JUST like in Shakira's Pop Rock, but it is softer and not dominant. At the drydown the geranium and pink pepper, peony-rose give me some MJ Lola vibes,that happy feeling similar to Jimmy Choo's blossom but again these two are more sour. This is a happy and bright, fresh pink scent but with a sour high pitched earthy woody vibe, very light and refreshing, so Ill say it is better than Mon Paris and Pop Rock due to lack of patchouli. At the opening I am smelling the common notes to Mon Paris: Rasbpberry, peony, jasmine, cedar, musk, vanilla and the sourness and earthiness of Pop Rock: raspberry, black currant, rose, jasmine, cedar. Sillage is excellent, lasting power not bad.

Usually I think of Armaf as a clone house. This one confuses me because I can NOT figure out what it's supposed to be imitating. I was sent this one by accident when I ordered Armaf Italiano Donna. However, it was dirt cheap and smelled wondrous, so I kept it. So I was not looking for this and never had a thought for buying and wearing a raspberry scent since raspberries are definitely not my favorite berry (blackberries are). Nevertheless, Italiano Vivo is a love. Opening: raspberry and peony, sharp but cheery Heart: peony, raspberry, vanilla, a little blackcurrant, nice fruity floral Base: musk and iso E super (the cedarwood note) This is a modern fragrance, by which I mean it does include that iso E super note. Great for daytime in spring, summer, or fall. Fresh and clean. The bottle is cute. It looks like white imitation leather. No silly bling. My second favorite Armaf bottle (first place goes to Armaf Tag-Her).

Although it has the same raspberry scent, it's not as sweet as Midnight Rose. Maybe it's because of the geranium. I once bought Midnight Rose at a department store and immediately sold it on Mercari. This is a sweet and sour fragrance with a hint of rose, a truly feminine fragrance. It's like a stronger version of Armani Suzhou.

I love this perfume it's nothing like what I usually wear my husband loves it on me I have no complaints at all maybe not for everyone but I sure do love it
