Le Femme

On my skin, Armaf Le Femme opens with a strong, rich, very juicy sweet blood orange. Sweet bergamot plays a supporting role. Quickly, deep sweet dark syrupy plum mixes with the orange. Yes, as FlashAdler221 said, at first spray, the slightly tart orange remind us of Sweet Tarts candies, but Le Femme has a deeper flavor that's much more "grown up", richer, thanks to the dark sweet plum, without the sharp tartness of the candy. Le Femme is definitely not "kid stuff", it's very adult. As the scent progresses, I suppose one could also be reminded of gourmet chocolate covered orange candies, but dark woods and soft florals keep Le Femme from wandering too far into gourmand territory. The flowers in this blend are soft. I notice a lot of saffron. Jasmine and rose mix to create a gentle gardenia scent. Lily of the Valley is barely there at all. Usually with Lily of the Valley, I get a green note. But I detect no green note and nothing sharp in Le Femme. And yes, there is a similarity to Womanity with the ladylike flowers and a "naughty" touch to the overall scent of Le Femme. The soft white musk adds an airy, floating aspect to the flowers. The most unusual thing about Le Femme is its woody notes. These woods are deep, dark, rich, like ebony wood. The woods appear and recede intermittently amid repeating bursts of orange and plum. On me I think body heat brings out the woods more. Patchouli here isn't sharp or green, and isn't strongly detectable on its own. Instead it's immersed in the dark woods to create a hint of a scent similar to bitter dark chocolate. Le Femme lasts about 8 hours, calming down to a closer to skin scent after the first hour. This fragrance leaves a noticeable trail in the air around you all day. Not recommended for office wear, but would be great for clubbing and parties. Wearable for anyone, any age.

Creamy MARASCHINO-CHERRY with Apple & Saffron. Opens with a fruity-floral burst with citrus, sweet, fruity, floral & powdery nuances, that deepens into a floral heart with powdery, creamy, near-violet, near-apple & near-cherry notes and a faint metallic spiciness from saffron, all resting on a fruity-floral support base of musky vanilla-woods & patchouli. Overall, to my nose this reads as a creamy maraschino-cherry with apple & saffron tones. Seekers & collectors of cherry scents won't be disappointed. Contrast to Cherry in the Air Escada: These are different, but after the opening, Le Femme is a good approximation of Cherry in the Air. Le Femme has superior performance. Contrast to Viva la Juicy Juicy Couture: These are different, although they're been compared, and there may be some similarities with golden apple in the opening, but Le Femme dries down with maraschino cherry. Roughly equivalent performance, or slightly better for Viva la Juicy with respect to projection. Contrast to Erba Pura Sospiro: These are different, although in the opening of Le Femme there are some similarities where my first thought was that Le Femme was a dupe with this DNA. But into the heart and drydown Le Femme is all about maraschino cherry instead of the pineapple leaning tones of scents like Erba Pura, Overall: Has above average performance, outperforming Cherry in the Air Escada. I'm a longtime fan of Cherry in the Air, so it's a love for me. Enjoy!

Yes, Le Femme indeed smells like some shampoo (or other hair styling product) but this is not soapy, or even as simple scent as the first sniff would imagine. Basically this smells like a sweet green apple or real plum right off the tree, but... there is something more on this scent. Some creamy, fluffy and vanilla, which, I think, gives this fragrance quite luxurious tone. The scent is fresh, but not so bright, as many other apple scents are. I love Park Avenue South from Bond No 9, but could never afford a full bottle. I'm not saying this scent is the same, but this one perfectly satisfies my craving for that style apple scent. I think the performance of this is very reasonable and the price is just ridiculously fantastic.

Starts with a bitter orange to me , softens after an hour. Saffron , Fresh Jasmine , Rose - I can make out in the journey and they do linger at the dry down too. It settles down to Sandalwood , with some vanilla at the base. No, no patchouli I could make out. It's one hybrid of a scent - an average of the Western and the Oriental. Not a soft one but complexly curvy. That doesn't mean it is offensive or over imposing , can be worn anytime , anywhere - actually I wore to my surgery today . But please don't expect a gourmand here . Silage moderate to strong. Longevity very good. Can be called an original , not much of cloning perceived. Value for money, as all the Armaf ones are. Grateful from South India.

Call me crazy, but my nostrils register this smelling 60% like the mellow version of BBW Midnight Pomegranate. It's less fruity and more floral, but they smell like siblings to me. Insanely yummy! The plum smells so juicy and takes center stage for me. I'm not sure why this smells like pomegranate to me, but I'm not complaining! The florals and everything else are in the background and amazing. Can't really pick out any note in particular. I'm so happy that I essentially found a BBW-like scent that lasts over 7 hours on the skin. One of my best blind buys ever! An instant love!

this fragrance reminds me of like.. a green apple shampoo. which is to say it's very clean-smelling scent, however it's not what i'd think a 'clean girl' scent would be if that's something you care about. good for everyday, also a universally appealing perfume bc this is hands down my most complimented out of the few that i rotate. it's pretty juvenile, not a sophisticated scent at all honestly. doesn't smell cheap but don't trust any influencers who try to sell it as a 'luxe' scent. will buy again when i run out.

Very nice! Smells like Erba Pura and the similar clones but with slightly different fruits in the opening, and this goes in a slightly darker direction, this could be Erba Pura “Night” edition. The plum is very prominent, the rest of the notes kinda just blend together giving it a very sweet but generic fruity/floral scent underneath. Blind buy safe if you like super sweet stuff. This is also unisex, or at least a a unisex as Erba Pura. Performance is above average but not tremendous. 8hour range.

Whoa, wish I'd discovered this earlier! I'd seen someone recommend this as their top compliment-getter, and it certainly delivers. Very fruity and sweet, with a light creamy and airy-ness that keeps it from being cloying. AMAZING longevity, one of the longest lasting of my entire 300+ collection, I can still get whiffs 24 hours later. I think if you're a fan of creamy, fruity perfumes like Signorina Misteriosa, you'd probably dig this, too. Very affordable, as well. Fabulous stuff.

This has nuances of Cherry with dark syrupy layers. As with most Armaf fragrances, this one is exceptional. This is my fourth fragrance from them and they all smell so well blended. Arabian perfume houses absolutely put some of our most popular department store fragrances to shame. The depth of the Arabians I have is incredible. There is always a time and place for mainstream department fragrances, but I wear perfume for myself so I want to “feel” it.

This is going to sound strange but I think this smells like a rich, buttery fruit pastry, and I want to say apple even though there's no apple note in it. It is definitely beautiful and yummy. I am so impressed with the Armaf fragrances I have, I can't wait to get more. Must say though, never has a bottle seemed more ill-matched to its contents. Do not judge this book by its cover!

Very fruity! Smells like a Snapple fruit drink cocktail. It’s completely unisex, or at least as masculine as 90% of the candy sweet mens releases that have come out since La Male. Super likable and non offending, no one could hate this unless. But it is linear, and straightforward fruity, so maybe not mind blowing. It’s simply deliciously fruity

Someone mentioned that it smells similar to bath and body works Midnight Pomegranate and I agree 100%...When sprayed, the smell disappears from my skin in an hour but others can apparently smell it as I constantly get complements especially from men.If you love sweet, plum dominated gourmand, you will love it. Beautiful and unique bottle too!

Please keep in mind this review is after initial spray. This may sound unappealing to other people but to me this smells like a capri sun (juice pouch)... but in the best way I could imagine. I have a deep love sweet, fruity and possibly “immature” fragrances because of how they remind me of my teens, so upon my first test I love it!

I bought this in a fragrance outlet store and was obsessed from the start ! It is one of my all time favorite scents. It is fruity, sweet, but not like a sugar scent. This lasts such a long time on me and I've received so many compliments wearing it. The bottle is not very pretty, but the fragrance is so worth it!

This fragrance is a clean, JUICY, fruity non synthetic smell. I am really enjoying, every spritz on my skin feels like a fresh splash of fruit juice. Non sticky and refreshing. Doesn't need to macerate, it's great straight out the package. And for the price it's definitely a safe blind buy

Absolutely love this fragrance. The longevity of this scent is amazing. I can still smell it on clothes I wore a week ago when I do laundry. The sillage is just truly wonderful and the amount of compliments I receive when wearing it makes me love it even more.

Ok so I purchased this yesterday pretty much blindly, as I only had the saleswoman spray on a paper strip. I immediately thought it smelled identical to my Escada Cherry In The Air....I ADORE and actively seek cherry laden scents all the time, even though I am slowly moving away from the whole fruity category in general,the generic side at least. Anyway I wound up paying way more for this in store than I would have online, my fault for not doing my usual in store research on my phone for actual price check. I put it up for sale for what I paid, which was $75 for the 100ml, only quickly to find identical listings to mine for $30 at most...I’m still a little sour about it because I’m a huge frag head and I know better than to let someone talk me into something I probably know more about anyway (not being rude, just saying overall in perfume stores they assume most people know almost nothing about actual perfume and fragrance). So I ripped it open, sprayed once on my wrist and let it dry down as I drove away just intoxicated with the cherry scent, still trying to convince myself it would probably be an exact dupe to my Escada cherry. Well, I just did a side by side on a clean unfragranced towel and also on each wrist. To my surprise they seem so identical until you go directly back and forth, then you notice all those beautiful nuances that make this Armaf superior (to me for now). As they wear on the Escada dries down to barely a whisper, still an edge of sour but mostly an airy sweetness (just like the name implies)...but the Armaf, it takes you on a ride, it deepens and adds woods, smooths out to a beautiful cream like dry down...it’s still up for sale, but I hope nobody buys it ;)

I did a blind buy. This is the first and only Armaf fragrance I have at the moment. I mostly get the smell of gardenia, then fruits. It is quite nice for its price tag. Easily likeable, others notice you smell good. Armaf Le Femme reminds me Gucci Flora Gardenia, very similar to my nose. I never purchased Gucci Flora Gardenia even I liked the fragrance. The smell and price are not satisfying enough to buy a bottle of it, but I might repurchase this Armaf Le Femme. A good option :) It is appropriate to use during spring and summer for me, but someone would choose to wear this all year long. It has a smooth fruity gardenia smell which is womenly, nice and attractive. A bit sweet. Not harsh or heavy at all.

This, for me, starts with tart citrus - the orange and bergamot, with a bit of plum. I get the gardenia and jasmine, bringing in some creaminess. Next, the saffron comes through with some vanilla, and the sweetness balances out the beginning citrus. In the bottom, I get the wood notes with a little musk. I don't pick up much patchouli. La Femme is a very nice white floral/citrus. As it comes together, you get smooth sweetness. I blind bought it and I'm happy with the purchase. Longevity and sillage are moderate and it's very versatile - pretty much can wear it year-round, any time of the day. A nice, agreeable, inexpensive perfume.

Le Femme Armaf is like a fruit blast, the smell of mixed fruit juice, which has been sitting inside a Tetra Pak at the back of the supermarket shelf. Prominent plum and orange notes along with the smell of something synthetic, which reminds me of a tyre workshop or a bubblegum store. Extremely feminine. This synthetic aspect of it is the reason why I won't recommend it for a blind buy. When I close my eyes, I imagine someone like a hairdresser in her late 30s wearing it on a Sunday morning as she is cutting hair. Longevity is 5-6 hours where I live, due to hotter climate(35–50°C). I will rate it 6.5/10.

Le Femme smells really good, almost like a fruit punch, syrupy, strong, and sweet. Ultimately, though, I'm more of a floral girl: I need my fruits and sweeter, more gourmand scents to be rendered "inedible" for me to want to wear them. When I wear Le Femme (why is it not "la" femme, I ask?), I feel as though I've spilled sticky fruit punch down my arm or the front of my shirt; while it smells good, I don't want to smell like that. My sister, on the other hand, adores fruity scents so I'll be passing this one on to her.

First of all the bottle looks dope! The key is a nice accent...first spray all i can smell is a mix of citrusy and a bit of patchouli/musk/wood. Didn’t get any plum notes at all. It is an interesting blend though because i liked the overall effect. It’s like there’s a bit of spice to it. I really thought i was gonna get something dark and syrupy because of the plum and vanilla but instead i got something tangy and fresh citrus. I like it but im not too crazy about it. A good blind buy for me.

I agree with @terigurl, it does smell like apples even there is no apple note in it. Very pleasant easy going summer fragrance, that lasts 10+ hours on the skin. I can not judge if this is dupe for anything, as I usually do not go for “fresh spicy” fragrances . But this is surprisingly GOOD and you can’t beat the price ***it would be worth buying at much higher price. My husband said he loves it on me, so it is most definitely a keeper. I may even buy a backup bottle.

A sweet orange and a luscious fruity plum drive this scent. This is for people that enjoy fruity fragrances. Its more fruity than floral. Its a deep ,thick, mysterious mature fragrance. Its a unique statement. Definitely get you noticed. Its a fun shake up perfume to your collection.

Bright and fruity, sweet but not gourmand. The magnolia dies a little to quick for my liking. Not too strong but lasts several hours. Kind of reminds me of shampoo and conditioner. Pretty safe blind buy, inoffensive and safe for the office as long as you stick to a couple sprays.

I am really enjoying this scent. I feel like a male can wear this one; it's fruity and sweet, but not too sweet. I feel like you can layer her or be by it; it's a great blind buy. I want to let it macerate and see where it goes.

A great alternative to Escada's Cherry in the Air.. if you're having trouble find CITA.. they smell almost identical which is strange b/c there's no cherry note here.. nice one for fruity-floral lovers.

This was my first perfume and although I still go back to it from time to time, I find it too sweet and overbearing now. The plum and citrus notes are a bit too cloying.

It is a really good fragrance but is too fruity and sweet for my taste, but is a really long lasting and good fragrance is you enjoy fruity sweet fragrance.

The strangest thing: I can't smell this without being reminded of apples. Don't know what combination of notes does this but it's apples, every time.

I smell fresh apples and vanilla. Smells really good, sweet, fresh, floral and it's long lasting as well. Great cheapie and blind buy.

My GF wears this and I like it... reminds me of a fruit candy like dum-dum lollipops or something. The only "sweet" smell that I like

I wanted to love this because I looooooove me some rose, musk, jasmine & patchouli. This wasn't as unique as I hoped it would be. I get mostly plum & sweet notes that do indeed smell like green apples. I barely get any florals, musk or patchouli. 😪🤧 It remains a skin scent on me from start to finish. 😢 This is too safe for the likes of moi. I prefer my fragrances a bit more assertive & not always so...nice.

The notes were promising, and I really liked the first few wears, but ultimately this turned into a bit of a letdown for me. Not just the bottle -- which looks gorgeous despite the ridiculously heavy weight, but was so cheaply made that the gold paint from the cap flaked off in my hands every time I opened it -- but the scent just becomes so boring and basic, way too strong and awkward of an orange note too. Converted this to a safe spray after a shower, but even then I rarely reach for it. A safe blind buy due to being so affordable for the size, but there are better citrus scents out there.

Smelt great upon first spray, had a nice bright fresh cherry scent even though cherry isn’t in the notes but upon dry down smells exactly like L’Oréal heat protection or L’Oreal hair mouse. It’s not bad but it’s nothing special. I’m so upset I bought this before letting it dry down on the tester. Also the bottle is hideous and very manly.

All I smell is pineaple... cant smell what they mention, maybe very sinthetic. To wear at home, the gym, outdoors, sillage close to skin. Not impressed.

This is a bright, citrusy orange and plum scent, but unfortunately it reminds me of a high end salon shampoo and I don't see myself reaching for it.

Just want to say that this is NOTHING like Forbidden Games. If you are buying this thinking you will get a great FG dupe, you should not bother.

I was pretty hesitant to blind buy this and was not expecting much. There aren’t a ton of reviews and this isn’t heavily talked about in the fragrance community (especially among the “best of Armaf”) but I decided to pull the trigger because it was under $25. Fruity/freshie lovers... she is GOOD! One youtuber mentioned that this smelled like the zebra stripe gum from the 90s-00s, yep. I get that. This also smells very much like a green apple! Reminiscent of a fruity salon shampoo... not as deep and more playful than Si Passione which is in the same realm of shampoo-like scents. I would consider Le Femme to be work appropriate, you won’t offend anyone with this. The bottle is heavy but they used very cheap materials, some of the gold paint flakes off when you pick it up. Le Femme also holds the award for ugliest bottle in my collection (what were they thinking? A leather sleeve? ~eye roll~). She does go on pretty strong, great sillage for the first hour or so but starts lacking in the longevity department because it turned into a skin scent within 4 hours. I consider this a non-commitment type of fragrance which I enjoy from time to time, especially if I’m feeling indecisive or know I will be close to my collection cabinet during the day- I can either reapply or start fresh with something new! Nevertheless, if you like fruity/clean/girly perfumes and can get your hands on this for $25 or less, it’s worth it.

I am shocked because I purchased this perfume actually I had smelled it in the store during Christmas shopping and I convinced my brother to buy it for me as part of my present in the store it smelled great and I couldn't wait to open it on Christmas! As soon as I opened it I opened the box and sprayed it on my arm and to my shock and dismay I absolutely hated it! :( it opened up with a very strong citrusy but not really sent and I thought as it dried down it would get nicer but to me it just started to smell like some weird cleaning products. In the perfume store I had sprayed it on a piece of paper and not directly on my arm so I think it just doesn't react well with my skin. I then said maybe I was just having an off day so I left it alone it's now January 11th and I decided to try it again, I sprayed it on my arm again and to my dismay yet again I absolutely hated it! I don't believe I'm ever going to like this perfume it does have one redeeming quality and that's that it has the most unique bottle that I've ever seen and I have over a hundred perfumes on my shelf currently it is the nicest bottle. So if you are a bottle collector like I am this is definitely something nice to add to your shelf! However if you do not normally like Fruity scents I would advise to stay away from this perfume

I blindly ordered what was described as Armaf Le Femme body spray for about $4 USD and the aerosol container I received says body spray, but the directions describe spraying the underarm. That being said it smells soooo good. I love it. It is fruity, fruity sweet. You don't get that blast of alcohol so many mists have or a weird aerosol deodorant smell. The good smell is the only smell. I hope the fragrance will be as amazing as the body spray. Unfortunately there aren't anymore body sprays on the website. As I build my fragrance collection I'm really going to focus on notes and smell rather than brands. This is an inexpensive blind buy win. Update: I was in Carrefour and went down the perfume aisle and there it was. I purchased a 100 ml bottle for about $13 USD. Plum is dominant and sweet and has decent longevity. At this price point I feel free to spray liberally. The bottle is beyond weird. I removed the poorly sewn plastic sleeve with the logo on the stick. It slid right off and after a couple of wipes with a soft cloth to remove smudges it looks beautiful and blends in nicely with the rest of the bottles.

Bought this perfume because of good reviews and the price was nothing but a grab in the pocket. But meh! When I first sniffed it on my skin, I was so underwhelmed and immediately put it on the furthest place on my perfume shelf. Hidden away behind all my beloved perfumes. But one day, when I was in a "what-perfume-to-wear" crisis, I thought "Oh well" and reached for it. During the day I kept smelling myself - this fruity, subtle, sweet (without being cloying) scent that people around me seemed to LOVE! I recieved more compliments than ever before. Even from my aunt who has a great taste in perfume. You cannot overspray this perfume and if I want it to last I need atleast 10 sprays. The sillage is not huge and the scent lingers close to you, but without being only a skin scent. This might have become the closest I've ever been to a signature scent (and owning more than 150 bottles, that says a lot I'd say!) I'm half way through my first bottle and will definitly be repurchasing. Such a nice and easy grab if you like fruity perfumes. This has grown into a huge love for me. It's absolutely beautiful!

Gurjus! to use the South East London vernacular. Recently I ve come to a few realisations, that the British love Referendums, that I will have to let go of the pink, fluffy bunny tail at the back of my onesie coz the cat plays with it and annoys me, and last but not least plum and animalics are great bed fellows but not in this particular bed. Here the plum gives musk the cold shoulder and runs wild with Rose, orange and occasionally patch. The scorned lover sulks very much at the back and only manages to pin down the naughty minx and show her who's boss only hours later among woods and soft florals. That in a nutshell. Plum is quite sweet, in part it reminds me of Voleur des Roses but with a weaker patchouli. Like all Armafs the longevity is enormous and as for sillage I could smell the juice even before spraying. Very pleasing, wearable and smooth. A great choice overall.

I just received this as a gift, and was pretty excited as a lot of people have compared it to kilian forbidden games. Well to be honest I like this a lot more. Forbidden games is great, but for me this is just more enjoyable. Sillage is so nice,definitely not a skin scent but not aggressive or offensive. Longevity is pretty amazing for the price, it lasts for hours on me,it actually lasts FAR longer than forbidden games. The scent is fantastic. I wouldn't say there's tons of layers, it's pretty basic. Some very light vanilla which takes a backseat to the fruits. The fruits are not the typical "pink" kind (nothing wrong with those, just using as an example) A kind of deep plum, some citrus, but what I really love is the apple. I don't even see it as a note, but man there is a STRONG apple scent. It's a love, just very pretty.

The smell of this fragrance is what I expected 'Gucci Guilty Absolute pour femme' to smell like (Ill review that one later). This is such an awesome smelling thick and jammy fruit fragrance. The notes say plum but my nose picks up strawberries and a few other berries and fruits. The sales associate said it reminded him of strawberry jelly or jam and I agree. What I love about this fragrance is that its surprisingly realistic smelling. Its not overly sweetened like most fruit or berry fragrances which makes it wearable for men as well...despite its "Le Femme" title. Some cons are its sillage and projection which are moderate at best, but Its thick and jammy berry-fruity goodness for about 4-5 hrs (possibly longer in hotter temperatures).

I really love this fragrance. I got lots of compliments when wearing it. Its a strange one though! It starts off very fruity, the plum is very prominent, almost reminding me of Poison. However the girls at work could only smell floral notes! Then, even stranger, after a few hours I started to smell Thierry Muglers Womanity. I didnt think it was me, but it was! How strange as none of the notes are the same as those in Womanity. The longer it was on the more it settled into Womanity. I prefer the initial blast of this fragrance, but its got so many different sides to it you can't help but love it!
