Magnificent Satin

This is a weird fragrance, weird in a good way. It's a powdery dry floral scent, with a clean soapy undertone, it's not very soapy, it's also not very dry. It's quite unique, I never smelled a perfume similar to this. It has weird effect as it triggers some nostalgic feelings, like I've smelled something like this in the past, even though I don't remember smelling it. Scent wise if I were to compare it with something it would be a fabric softener and powdered detergent kinda floral scent, so a synthetic floral accord that has been smoothen out, with a silky, satin like texture to the scent, which makes it weirdly addictive. It's extraordinary long lasting, on clothes it can last for several months so I don't recommend overspraying. People seem to like it as it smells clean like you just washed your clothes. Good value for money if you like this scent profile. Versatility is high as this works in all weather conditions.

I forgot what this was called for a second. I searched for Armaf Majestic Satin, but no results appeared. Honestly, I think Majestic suits this fragrance more than Magnificent because it smells like luxury, elegance, and refinement. It doesn't smell cheap, but I only paid 30 bucks for this frag. The presentation is nice, but not outstanding. It comes in a thick blue clamshell box. The teardrop jewel on the bottle also appears on the fragrance's box with reflective silver lettering. The fragrance itself smells like clean laundry. Satin is known for being smooth and delicate, but this scent isn't creamy at all. When I first sprayed this, I couldn't really smell anything. I'm recovering from a mild cold, so my nose is a little stuffy, but still. I couldn't smell much of anything, not even a blast of alcohol. After a minute or two, it smelled clean and airy. It's powdery, but not in a way that irritates my nose. The smell was stronger in the second hour. It has stayed pretty linear; I don't think it has evolved much (or at all) since I first prayed it 2.5 hours ago. I think I smell a very faint warmness in the background from the woody notes or the ambroxan. The projection has been moderate so far. I sprayed it on myself four times (two times on my wrist and two times on my inner elbow), but I don't detect it in the air. I can smell it only when I press my nose against my skin. However, I don't recommend overspraying this because it might annoy/sicken other people, even if the smell is very light. This is a decent every day kind of scent that you can wear to the office. I don't think anybody will hate this, unless you spray too much of it. Both men and women can rock this. You can dress this down or dress it up for special occasions, but I wouldn't say it's a date night fragrance because it doesn't really smell "sexy." You literally smell like you just pulled your clothes out of the dryer. You could spray this on your shirt to get more longevity out of it. This might require some maturation to make it stronger. I Like it, but if the performance gets better, I'll change my rating to Love.
