Odyssey Mandarin Sky

I was kinda hoping this was bad because the whole hispanic community is hyping this and Santal 33. I mean, i definetly have a bias against Armaf, I've found that their bottles are very low quality and most of the time they leak fragrance, probably because of the female sprayer (big open spray tube). Not only that, but I've found most of their dupes halfway there, good, but not there unlike other brands (MA, lattafa, FW, Emper, Grandeur, etc) which are spot on most of the time. This one is SPOT ON scandal EDT, the whole dna is there, and i dare say it's better because the caramel accord is way creamier and almost dusty like, kind of like a powdered dessert with goat milk caramel. This in result ends up smelling like a tide and true higher concentration version of the Scandal edt. The le parfum is also amazing, but this being as cheap as it is, I'd say skip those two and go for this one. Haven't tried the Mandarin Sky Elixir yet but I'm hoping it's a le parfum dupe. Overall the longevity is great, this one is a sillager more than a projecter. 7-8 hours minimum on summer, could be 12 hours plus on colder weather. Great for pretty much anything that is casual or intimate, may be too alluring for work or school. 9/10. P.D. The quality is pretty darn good. Don't buy it over $40 or $50

I had smelled this fragrance on someone (technically the OG) about a year ago, but didn't get a chance to ask, so I'd been searching for it ever since. I was in awe of how good it smelled and how strongly it projected. I wasnt able to find it for so rlong. Then one day as I'm shopping around and just browsing through different fragrances, I got curious and smelled the JPG line. I took a sniff of Scandal Pour Homme and instantly recognized it from the first sniff. This is a near perfect dupe when it comes to both smell and longevity. I get an easy 7-8 hours on this with good projection for the first 3-4, before it slowly starts sitting closer to skin. The citruses in this aren't sharp and floor cleaner-ish. They're very well blended in with the caramel and vanilla notes. The dry down is smoooth. I haven't got any bad things to say about this personally (well...besides the bottle). For 20 bucks you can't go wrong.

8/10 When I first received Mandarin Sky, I tested it on a strip and it was a sharper scent, synthetic, with the orange and sweetness forward. A quick spray on the wrists and the scent quickly left the chat; didn't have much more than a couple hours until it eventually fizzled out. Flash forward a few weeks, I gave it another spin and oversprayed beyond my comfort zone. Turns out that's exactly what was needed for good projection and all day sillage, developing into a beautiful scent and the drydown is fantastic - BUT any more than that it can turn skunky and sour. UPDATE - this scent is often complimented. Maybe it's just my chemistry, but women love it. UPDATE #2- after two months, 12hr scent with strong initial projection and sillage that lasts longest in my collection, on par with SWYI and Kamrah.

Man, this one is addictive. Odyssey Mandarin Sky might just be my favorite of the entire Odyssey line. The opening is incredibly fresh; that mandarin note is really bright and uplifting. As it settles into the dry down, it leans more towards the gourmand side with a smooth caramel and tonka bean combo. It’s not over the top, just very pleasant. I’ve tried JPG Scandal, and while that’s obviously a great fragrance, I think I actually prefer Armaf’s take on this DNA. It feels a bit more subtle and wearable. To be honest, I can’t really comment on the longevity. Like I said, I’m addicted to the opening, so I find myself refreshing it a few times throughout the day just to get that burst of mandarin again. By the end of the day, I definitely smell like a candy shop, but in the best way possible! 😉

Odyssey Mandarin Sky by Armaf is definitely worth the hype. I seen so many people glazing this fragrance that it almost felt too good to be true, like every reviewer had the same opinion. There I go joining the hype train myself after already owning the Lemoni Odyssey, and let me tell you... this one is 🔥 Right from the opening you get hit with that juicy orange mandarin vibe that smells bright, fresh, and addictive. As it dries down, that caramel sweetness starts creeping in while the woody masculine notes balance everything out perfectly. It turns into this smooth, sweet, woody manly fragrance that just works. Performance is solid, scent is addictive, and my wife definitely loved this one too, so that already tells me enough 😂 Don’t hesitate fellas, this is an easy grab for the collection.

I've tried the entire Scandal line and I've gotta say, Armaf knocked it out of the park with this one. Sure, it isn't 100% the same scent, and there is definitely a somewhat synthetic aspect to the fragrance (personally, I get a slight metallic note due to the saffron), but for 99% of people, this is indistinguishable from Scandal if they are merely walking by you. It opens with a bright mandarin note that actually persists and keeps the composition from being too cloying. Right away, you can also smell the dense caramel note that I believe is spiced up by the saffron and sage notes. Over time, it develops into a more ambery type of scent that is empowered by ambroxan. The performance is very strong, and it can linger on clothes for a day or two. Very playful and delicious as a scent.

After 1 week of owing this fragrance I feel like a can give a good review about it: I love it. First off mine opens very citrussy with that mandarin and orange, very sweet. Surprisingly for being a cheap clone it doesn't open with straight up alcohol (at least mine). After it dries down you get this really good creamy/vanilla-like notes from the tonka bean, and this very sweet caramel. The sillage it's not crazy, which I would give a 6/10. It projects decently up to about 3-4 hours I'd say, then it becomes a skin scent. The logenvity is surprisingly good 9/10. Lasting on my skin easily 8+ hours. It's a male cologne, but clearly aimed towards young adults, late teenagers which overrall including the price and bottle design which I sort of like. I would give it an overrall 8.5/10

Having never smelled Scandal... This smells like the bottom of the Halloween candy pail. You know, that smell when you mix different candies together in a container and let them sit for too long? All the uneaten candies that get left behind. Lots of mints where their flavor has overtaken their wrappers, next to orange Tootsie Pops, Tootsie Rolls, Smarties, a couple Jolly Ranchers and maybe a Milky Way bar and some Whoppers, all sitting inside a plastic container. With that being said, it's actually REALLY good! 😅 Longevity is top-notch, and projection is just right. I like this. And I might actually hate that I like this because it's not what I expected, but I can't deny that it's good.

Smells like a Dreamsickle. Orange, creamy, vanilla-y (but that's not one of the notes -- must be the caramel?), dries down to a light oud. Nice projection for the first couple of hours (strong, but not too strong). Fairly linear until the woody note takes over. Reminds me of Emir Voux Zeste (Xerjoff Lira dupe). Seems like it's best suited to casual wear. You can wear this year round... but maybe not on really hot days... and I'm not so sure that this lends itself to the dead of winter? Definitely not a light, airy, fresh, orange-forward fragrance (e.g. Clinique Happy) by any means; it's much heavier. Be careful with the sprays.

At first I wasn't sure about this I thought the mandarin in the opening was way to strong but now I'm quite fond of it. I'm not sure if after years of owning this its become less strong or if I've just gotten used to it but nonetheless I now love this scent. Now where this fragrance really shines is the dry drown it's super sweet caramel with a slight woody scent its super addicting its in my opinion also the most masculine part. One thing though is I have had multiple people ask me if I was wearing women's perfume so it's definitely not a masculine fragrance but I believe most guys could pull this off along with some women.

This is such a nice fragrance. The scent opens with a refreshing burst of bright and sweet citrus. As it settles, the fragrance deepens with soft, warm and elegant undertones. It is best suited for the cooler months, whether worn during the day or evening, as its richness and depth feel perfect for crisp air and cozy settings. The longevity is 7+ hours and sillage is not great but not bad. While it's a wonderful choice for colder weather, I would advise against wearing it during the warm months, as it might get cloying. Overall, it is perfect considering the price. An absolutely safe blind buy in my opinion. 9/10

This is my first fragrance from armaf and it won’t be my last!! Bro when I tell you this one smells good it smells GOOD🔥 a nice orange opening with some sage & light floral notes then it drys into caramel and woods it reminds me of my signature scent & Horace but more on the creamy gourmandish side, this gets a 8.5/10 only because I just got it so I need to see how longevity and maturation holds up but the scent is excellent. There’s must be different batches from France and Dubai because people have said this weak but my one was so strong I smelt it out the box and it wasn’t leaking. I have the Dubai batch

This is the closest clone fragrance that I own. I liked this stuff so much that I went to go buy the OG Scandal. When I smelled it at the store... it was exactly the same as Mandarin Sky. So instead I bought Mandarin Sky Elixir. I highly recommend both although I may like the Elixir slightly more. They are very close so they may be redundant unless you really enjoy this dna like i do. Needs time to mature. It didn't smell good on the first spray. gave it 5-10 sprays and let it sit for a couple weeks. This juice was what made me realize Maceration is real and important for these clones.

A bit confused, heard only good things but when I tried it I got an amazing juicy mandarin opening that dried down into cardboard? Not just me but my sister as well. Left it for a bit while and assumed it'd fix but smells like the box it came in. Every once in a while I can get a whiff of caramel but it goes back to the chlorine/cardboard thing it's got going on. Sucks cause I really wanted to love it. Update: The cardboard smell is slowly disappearing the more I macerate it, The caramel actually is coming out. Still disappointed but for the price it's not too bad of a loss.

I didn't realise this was supposed to be a male perfume when I bought it after a quick sniff ... I'm glad I didn't know, or equally care, because it's quite stunning! I keep getting notes of 1980s Poisen! I need to look into why! It's heady, heavy, heavenly. I've been on a really stressful long journey of trains & planes today after being in intense heat, keep giving myself a blast of it & the citrus clears my head, something quite herby, menthol even? It's very vintage to me in a good way. I feel it's sexy soothing and seductive.

Didn't sniffed the Scandal from JPG but This is just a caramel bomb! opening bottle with limonic or citrussy was terrible. almost non-existence or smelled like fairy dish soap citrussy. after of dry down is dope amazing! it lasts super long time. not to mention it's budget friendly! choose this if you a fan of sweet fragrances. This is one of the strongest sweet fragrance that I smelled! it lasts 8 hours with single spray on my skin. so don't overspray. this is very strong so might give someone headache.

Got it recently and based on lately hype around vulcan fue I dont get it why people say that one sweet fragrance is summer-fragrance and other sweet fragrance is winter-fragrance. The moment spray hits my wrist I instantly getting citrusy, yet little sweety orange that fills up whole room. While time pass smell is evolving into very sweet orange with carmel. It stays on my hand pretty easily up to 10h on my skin, yet only first 6h are somehow well projecting, the rest is just close skin scent..

Was seriously considering laying down $130aud for a bottle of Scandal EDP recently. I picked up on this being reviewed and headed here to get a general feel. Glad I did. This stuff’s about 90-95% close to Scandal for a mere fraction of the RRP. And it’s bloody amazing juice. Not as sweet as the EDT. Not as potent as the EDP. But a bloody good in-between. I’ve been lucky with Armaf. This is another belter in the collection. If you like Scandal, just grab a bottle of this and thank me later.

First day i got it, blind bought. Got 2 compliments and also got asked to get it for them (probably sprayed too much, did 5 sprays). Good for every ocasion, would've liked it more on the colder side but who am i to complain. 10/10, recommend. Update (4 days later): I have worn it 3 out of the last 4 days. 2 of the days i got complimented. Everyone loves the fragrance, very sweet caramel-ish manly clean scent. Even if you overspray, it is not a scent that would annoy anyone. Still 10/10

It's been 6 months since I first sprayed this and it's changed a bit, so I'm updating my review. This is a less childish fragrance now and more harmonious on the skin as the mandarin and caramel notes are warmer and smoother and no longer fighting each other for attention. Androgynous. Energetic. Youthful, but can be given more depth easily as it layers REALLY well with either of the original Calvin Klein Obsession scents. Moderate sillage. 12h+ longevity on me over heavy moisturiser.
