Odyssey Mega Man

It's like a summer scent, I think. It is quite suitable for the weather in Thailand. You will get a few suspicious glances from strangers. Because this scent is similar to a popular perfume. And it works well to give the right scent to the body when sprayed with 3 sprays. I can tell you it's not bad if you live in constant heat. It's not overly sweet or bright. But everything has disadvantages. Its scent faded very quickly. From what I've been using for the past 1 week. Found that people around us responded to it that "Smells so good" for only the first 2 hours. But after 3-5 hours have passed. It was just a faint scent, like a light aura. I like it, it's worth the small price to reward yourself with a perfume that doesn't stand out. Use it in the office or in a non-stressful meeting. 8/10 If you're looking for a scent that doesn't stand out and looks suitable for a classy teenager. I think this is good and cheap.

now I originally got this because I couldn't justify spending $150 on YSL, and at first, I was very underwhelmed, but a couple months later, I've gone to appreciate this more and more over time, not because maceration, because this doesn't require any, but because I love wearing fragrances, and there are people in my life that are sensitive to most perfumes/colognes, and I love the fact that this doesn't perform well, this is my go to for days where I don't want really any attention, I just like to smell nice for me. People like my dad, who I love, is very sensitive to smells in general, and he actually likes this, all my other fragrances flare up his allergies, so if it can't offend him, it will not offend anyone, I have felt that way since it arrived, you can't go wrong for the price, it does most of what YSL Y did for me, except it's a safer choice at the sacrifice of performance

Got this in yesterday, no maceration. Very big citrus blast in the beginning, and when it dries down you can definitely smell the cedar and musk. It's a very pleasant, versatile and mass appealing scent that crawls into the fresh and clean scent profile. Perfect for young teenagers in school, as like I said its mass appealing, and easy to pull off in all months of the year. I have not tried the OG, YSL Y EDP but I can imagine it smelling pretty similar due to the note depictions and reviews While the scent is really nice, I can fault the longevity and projection is pretty average. On skin, I get around 2 hours of moderate projection before becoming a skin scent. After 6 hours, I couldn't really smell anything. Maceration and using moisturiser may improve this.

Great Frag! Pretty easy going, clean, versatile. This is such a dummy grab, and for 21 bucks on amazon this is the easiest blind buy you will make. Clean shower gel. It is a YSL Y dupe, which isn't too expensive anyway, but if you're feeling cheap, this will suffice. I will say there are two things- one, and I really am hoping for this, but longevity has been no more than a few hours on skin. Was hoping for at least 5-6, might need time to macerate, so I am hoping that's the case. On clothes, it will stick. Also atomizer is TERRIBLE!! A terrible atomizer, and I might have to decant this in order to use it to its max. I have Mandarin Sky, and that one isn't great either, so it might just be the line itself. Besides those two things, this is solid. 8.2/10

What a surprise this was. I blindly bought Odyssey Mega Man Armaf, and it is great. The first thing I noticed was the absence of a synthetic smell upon opening, unlike other perfumes in this category, especially the trending Armafs, Afnans, and Lataffas. I would not say it is a dupe of YSL Y Edp, but it is very similar. Mega Man is leaning more towards a citrusy side, and it is fresher. If you are looking for a YSL dupe, I would recommend Fakhar Black, which is on drydown 1/1. For me, this is better than YSL Y in terms of smell, worse in terms of quality, but it is better than Fakhar Black. Performance is very moderate, both sillage and longevity. Very cheap and safe for blind buy. Packaging is not the best, but it is ok for the price.

Mega Man is pretty much a direct clone of YSL EDP, and Armaf knocked it out of the park. With that said, to those unfamiliar, the scent composition is gorgeous. Clean, fresh, and citrusy musk with a soft herbal background. The performance is above average. Sillage seems to carry well indoors and average outdoors. Longevity is great. While an obvious crowd pleaser, it's easy to wear this for my own pleasure. I hate the cheap plastic bottle cap, and the bottle is nothing special either. It reminds me of if Fisher Price made a version of Spice Bomb's bottles. People can say what they want, but sometimes these clones turn out to be incredibly accurate. And Mega Man is no exception. It honestly smells just as good as the expensive stuff.

Got it 3 days ago First spray ever right away I was like this ain’t it, after 5-10 minutes Im already in love with the smell just the same when I first smelled YSL Y It’s a 90% clone id say and comparing the price it’s really a high quality scent. If u like ysl y and those scent profiles u should absolutely get ur hands on Odyssey Mega. Longevity is around 5 hours then it fades to a skin scent, projection is good 2-2.5 hours. But im sure after a month or two the performance will increase since this is what all mid-east fragnances do I actually bought it rn to let it sit until summer so the performance gets better, u can tell I got some experience with these fragnances lol. Honestly even if this cost 60-70€ id still say go for it.

Recently bought this after reading good things on it being close to the YSL Y DNA. I went and sprayed the edp at my local store and sprayed another with this and after fry down this is 1:1 if you were walking down the street nobody will tell the difference it is identical. The only thing I did notice was the longevity of the OG is better so I think this may need a few more sprays to compete. The atomiser isn’t the best so that may be an issue with the quantity of sprays needing to increase. Great summer, gym, office, out for drinks scent that’s an easy blind buy, isn’t offensive you can safely buy this and for £20 this has made YSL Y redundant for me

Love at first spray. This is very bright, uplifting, and may I say "happiness" inducing fragrance. This is perfect for summer and high heat weather. I don't find it cloying and is actually very pleasant to smell. So much so that I bought the original YSL Y edp because of Odyssey Mega! But to my surprise,I like this dupe more than the original. For me,this projects and stays much longer than the original. And that's from a fresh bottle that I haven't macerated yet! This is definitely my new daily freshie. Will definitely get myself another bottle! Highly recommended!

At first this smells incredibly male, like a man right out of the shower. Nose to cap: lemon, cedar, tonka. After hours it progressively becomes less pungently male, honestly more androgynous as time passes. Powdery notes come through. Thoroughly enjoying this. Wearing this layered with the dove cedar and crushed mint body wash is heavenly. I smell good all day. I’d imagine this would be great if you work out or sweat a lot, and will be best in the sun. Great blind buy, 9/10. Cheap too. I wish I could smell the pineapple at all, it would go great together.

It IS just like Y EDP but seems like they made it more dense. Ill say one thing...this is obviously an attempt to clone it. Do you not think they did a GCMS scan on Y EDP before they made this? These companies know what they're doing dog. Any differences are not by mistake. They're either there to make the fragrance richer, stronger, or a little bit different. So if you like Y edp, you're fine to get this and use it. It's only "not good enough" if you're too sensitive. Cause to me it's pretty much the same thing and I'd use it in the same way.

limpio, fresco y masculino. vi a varios decir que la salida es un desastre sintético y a mi me parece de los mejores momentos de la fragancia.. así que ni bola. si venís de usar solo cosas dulces (como yo) quizás te choque un toque usarlo al principio, pero este es un gran perfume para adentrarte en los cítricos, 100% recomendado. lo uso para ir a la facultad y dura lo que tiene que durar pero el frio lo opaca bastante, así que es un buen perfume para el día a día durante el verano. 9/10

I absolutely love this! I'm a HUGE fan of YSL Y EDP, and this is literally 95%+ the same. I have 4 bottles of YSL Y EDP because I love it that much, and I'm still glad I tried this. Performance and projection is actually BETTER than the original. I'm a big fan of Lattafa Fakhar Black as well, but it's not a close YSL Y EDP clone. It smells GREAT, but it's not a YSL Y clone to me. This (Odyssey Mega) for sure is. As close to 1:1 as you're gonna get. Very, very, very happy!

It's sooo close to YSL Y EDP — at least 80–85% — which is one of my favorite summer frags. I blind bought it and I don't regret it; I actually wish I'd gotten the 200ml version. For this price, it's crazy how similar the drydowns are. One thing I noticed is the lack of apple in Mega Man's opening and the fact that it's a bit mintier. But overall, it's such a great bang for the buck (also, the bottle design is pretty nice and doesn’t feel that cheap).

This is my current favorite dumb reach. It is versatile af and "mass-appealing" as they say. I feel like the juniper and vetiver notes blend well and shine through. I hadn't considered the likeness to YSL L'Homme Le Parfum (as mentioned by the person below me). I also love that scent and plan to compare the two myself. This is close enough to YSL Y EDP for me to bypass the original, however, I acknowledge that my nose is pretty simple.

If you're looking for an aromatic and citric fragrance, you can blind buy this one. It has a great opening, it feels refreshing, you can smell the mixture of mint, orange and lemon. After 20 minutes, a woody scent can be noticed in the fragrance, but not losing its freshness. It might not have a great projection, and its longevity rounds from 5 to 6 hours. It's an incredible fragrance, I'd give it a 9/10

Wow what a bargain! Luxurious sweet citrus and pineaple, slightly soapy to take the edge off. Lasts 4 to 5 hours with moderate silage. Atomiser has abit to be desired but its 20 quid and the quality of the fragrance more than makes up for it. Slightly bitter sweet artifitial lemon cake kind of smell when first sprayed but when the alcahol evaporates its a fantastic fragrance.

Honestly, this is 95% similar to YSL EDP. I have both on hand for comparison, and it's hard to pinpoint the differences. Both have the same projection and longevity. I'm usually critical of clones, but this one is amazing. *the atomizer for a 200ml bottle is much better in comparison to the 100ml one, which is disappointing. Keep this in mind before making a purchase.

I don't understand those who think this perfume is not a good clone. I also have YSL Y EDP, so I can safely say that this is 90% similar, and after leting it sit for a month, its longevity is much better than the original's. Projection is also great, you don't need more than 3-4 sprays. A great everyday scent that gets compliments. At around $20 it's almost a steal.

This is so close to YSL Y, especially the opening. I love the lemon and orange in the opening, I wouldn't say it's realistic but it's very smooth, well blended and just smells amazing. I finished my Y a while back and I don't think I'll be buying it anytime soon. Instead I'll be spending on something new. My bottle needed to maturate, it wasn't love at first smell.

Thankfully I tried it on skin before writing it off, because the opening smells horrible on paper . On skin, it's very good. 90% accurate YSL Y EDP, except slightly sweeter and LESS synthetic to my nose. The OG has a weird synthetic, powdery, laundry detergent note which irritates my nose, this one doesn't have that. I prefer this over the OG.

I smelled YSL Y before this but this fragrance itself was blind buy. I found the performance moderate upon initial usage but I let it macerate for around 2 weeks and it performs like a beast. I can't stop sniffing my hand from time to time and it also lasts the entire day. Doesn't smell cheap or synthetic to my nose too. Absolute banger.

As described: very very close to 1:1 Y edp. Also as described: not particularly long lasting. But the people saying it only lasts two hours are either nose blind or don't know how to apply correctly. I get a solid 4 hours when I wear it. So yeah, slightly disappointing performance but it's so close to Y I still love it! 10/10

Honestly, really close to YSL Y EDP. It has a super nice, fresh "clean laundry" vibe that just works. The best part is that it doesn't smell like a cheap, synthetic mess ,the quality is actually surprisingly good. I get about 4+ hours on skin, and moderate+ sillage. Absolute steal for the price, no brainer everyday wear

I have the Ysl Y also so I can compare to that. It's 90% same or more! I can't understand how are the make it this close! It's beautiful fragrance the only problem is the longevity is 3-4 hours max! But of course YSL use much more quality ingredients! I bought it for 12 British pound at Notino I highly recommend it

Have full wear this parfume about 2 weeks. I like the scent, so close to YSL Y EDP about 90% on the opening. I think this parfume better than lattafa fakhar from the scent. But from the longetivity, performance and sillage lattafa fakhar better than this perfume. For 22$ parfume i think its not bad. 8 out of 10

Definitely smell like YSL EDP. It's got all DNA of YSL except it doesn't last long.... I really wish they make a more longer lasting Elixir version of this like they released an elixir version of Odyssey Mandarin Sky. I would definitely going to rebuy if they ever do. Nevertheless. it's a nice budget perfume.

It's practically the same scent as YSL Y. Somewhere between EDP and EDT. I know because Y is my regular wear. Longevity and performance needs improvement honestly. To the point i'm not sure if i will reorder this. If you love Y, get this. If you don't know about Y, i would skip this tbh.

Got this because I couldn't pay for Y EDP at the time. I had a sample of Y, and when I compared these two it was almost impossible to tell the difference. Y seemed a little more metallic. I usually get 2-3 hours of decent performance out of it. Not my favorite bottle design though lol.

Slightly sweet masculine fragrance, herbal mass appealing and long lasting, I love how this smells, projection is nice for the first two hours, lasts about 5 hours on my skin then I have to reapply, you can use it year round without a doubt. I don't mind the bottle design.

I haven't smelled ysl y but I will tell you this fragrance is amazing. Smells so good especially what your paying. I paid 30 quid from Amazon. This projects good, smells good and is relatively cheap for the fragrance world. I would highly recommend and recommend blind buy

Maceration is super important with this one! At first i got maybe one or two hour of projection and after that it became a skin scent. However, after 1.5 months this became so long lasting. i could still catch whiff from my pants when i sprayed it two days prior.

Smells exactly like YSL Y EDP. I mean if you are not the creator pf the original perfume you would neeeever know the difference. Its the closest clone you could find. Better than Fakhar Black by far. Great great perfume i am very impressed.

I love the YSL Y EdP DNA so naturally I have bought this. Very close to the original. The only downside is it's longevity, though as I wear this DNA often, it could be me going nose blind. This one can be had for really cheap currently.

Call me crazy but I can't tell the difference between this and Y EDP. If there was one thing, I'd say it has a stronger cedarwood (pencil shaving smell) than the OG. Not a complain tho you can get 100mL for under $20.

I gate keep this, because i want to be unique and this is so far the best dupe of ysl y edp for affordable price, truly exceptional and aromatic. you can over spray still non offensive smell i rate this 9/10.

Incredibly good fragrance. great dupe of YSL Y edp and gets me a tons of complements. The sent straight from the bottle wont be as good as Ysl Y but In the air smells super close almost no difference 9/10

Best alternative to YSL Y EDP, period. It's way cheaper and has a similar performance. Do try at nearest department stores, not blind buy safe, not all people like this scent, but a majority of them do.

I’ve had YSL Y EDP before, and this one smells almost identical in both scent profile and quality. Performance is moderate, so I’d actually prefer this budget option over the original.

Just got it today and first impression really gave me the ysl y its really accurate with moderate silage im not sure about the longevity yet might need to macerate but great blind buy

I really enjoy this scent. I don't trust my nose enough between the department store where I tried YSL Y EDP and this, but from my very amateur nose, it smells extremely similar.

My favourite scent for summer. Be careful with it as you can get noseblind real fast. Too bad it doesn’t last that long, but for a fresh scent it’s worth the money.

Cant go wrong with the price, one of my most complimented fragrances actually. One person actually asked me if i was wearing ysl y edp. Honestly amazing fragrance.

Opening is very similar to ysl y but on skin it strays in its own way but not in a bad way still great smelling but on clothes you keep that opening ysl y scent.

Close to Y EDP, lasted 5-6 hours on skin then clothes 7 hours.. fresh clean aromatic can smell it on yourself for first 2 hours.. quite strong projection 8/10

This is a very accurate YSL Y EDP clone. It's much more linear than the original, but this is an excellent clone to keep in your gym bag or at the office.

terrible performance, no projection either really, the scent profile is there imo it’s a close dupe but the performance and projection is horrendous

i like it, really does have similarities to ysl Y edp.. 4-6 hours but my wife dislike this dna she mentioned smell like mothball or armpit smell 😅

This is a great scent , i love it! Never smell the og but , the smell is realy great! One of my favorite's out of a lot of fragrances!

It's YSL Y EDP if you cut the apple out and give it a damn near cloying orange note. For that reason, I freaking love it lol
