Opus Homme

Some have compared Opus Homme to Allure Edition Blanche, Hawas, and I'm even seeing a vote or two for C for Men and Neroli Portofino. I have owned this fragrance for more than two years and I am not sensing any such similarities. But that's just my opinion. What I am sensing is that Opus Homme--in its ridiculously packaged pleather-wrapped plastic padlock--is super-sweet, synthetic. syrupy goo, with hints of 1 Million, a screaming artificial citrus note, and a half-dozen or so nondescript juvenile clubbing scents with tonka and ambroxan. Doesn't sound very appealing, I know, but I really like this stuff. Opus Homme is a loud, sugar sweet, and borderline obnoxious fragrance...but it just works; everything from the chintzy bottle design to the synthetic goo-juice inside...and it works well. Performance is excellent in that this scent lasts a solid 9-10 hours on my sling and fills a room for the first hour or two before becoming a bit more well-behaved. Honestly, this is a more juvenile type scents that is perfect for clubbing, but I like it and have received positive feedback from the ladies, and I'm certainly no kid. My final thought is Opus Homme is an interesting, inexpensive, clubbing scent for the twenty-somethings. However, I find that it may also have some likable qualities for the 30+ crowd. The closest comparison, IMO, is Jacques Bogart Pour Hommme...not that they smell the same, but for $25 there's enough liquid to get 100,000+ people to smell you. Cheers!

not a clone of Edition Blanche by chanel, lil lemon musky opening perhaps has a vibe of eau extreme but not same quality. check out my review on it.its similar to silver scent but better quality, good for teenagers and people with budget.beast mode performer, fills up a room. good clubbing scent on budget. well done armaf, very sweet and fills up a room, sprayer is the worst though lol 8/10 (magnetic cap makes it fun)

At first, I hate it.. but when I use it and my sons use it. We got a lot of compliments. It's good in hot weather it is very close to my Edition Blanche but this is more in sweeter but long-lasting than ChanelEB. It needs time and you will love it.

This is very different from Silver Scent to my nose. I wear 4 Silver Scents pretty often and this doesn't even give me that vibe at all, other than some heavy tonka. This smells like a hippy, loaded with patchouli. It smells very much like you're wearing sticks of Nag Champa. So if you love the smell of Nag Champa and wanted it in the form of a perfume, then here you go.

A lemony and refreshing fragrance. I get lemon, vanilla and lavender. It smells like washing detergent. This juice may not be to everyone's taste however I find the scent pleasant. Projection and longevity are moderate at best. Not too bad performance from a budget fragrance though. Ratings Sillage: 5.5/10 Longevity: 6.5/10 Scent: 6/10

My girlfriend recently got this for me, and wow... to me, it smells like a masculine grape scent, and it's powerful. Not sure how i smell grape, but it's noticeable.

This smells nothing like CHEB. To me it smells like Rasasi Hawas, minus the cinnamon, which is a very good scent. For the price this a solid fragrance.

@Craftsvision... I was originally going to disagree with you and your review, but after smelling this on me for a while, I now believe everything you have stated in your review to be correct. On another site someone claimed this to be a clone of Chanel Allure Homme Blanche and they couldn’t be more inaccurate. Being an owner of CAHB this is nowhere near that masterpiece. This does have the lemon, and vanilla, but that’s where the similarities end. This scent is more a soury lemon type of smell along with some spice and incense. CAHB is a much more aromatic sweeter creamier version to this. This is not to say that this juice is bad, on the contrary it’s unique in its own right. It kind of reminds of Jacques Bogart silver scent had a baby with Armaf Le Parfait. I’d also like to add that this has the bubble gum style of Paco Rabanne Million. The longevity is actually quite good also. I get about 7 hours plus with this bottle. In the dry down I definitely get a laundry detergent vibe, and this is also a good thing too. I’d give this scent a 6/10. The bottle is pretty cool idea but fails in execution. The sprayer is horrible. I don’t know if I’d ever buy this again, and to be honest, out of all of the Armaf scents I have blind bought, I’d encourage others to make this on a hard pass.

I ordered this because I’m a huge fan of the allure line, and many said it smelled like it. I figured I’d be okay if it was a hybrid like most Armaf fragrances. I received it and I almost called the cops on myself for defrauding my bank account. The fragrance is beast mode, that I will admit. The scent, it seriously smells like clothes detergent in roids. I see this scent perfect for a college kid, who is having his parents visiting, and he has not had time to wash his clothes because he’s been busy getting inside sugar walls. Spray this on your dirty laundry and your parents will think you have been studying and doing laundry while sipping some green tea. Would not buy again, unless my washer breaks down.

Review based on owning it from past 6 months. I dont know if it smells like Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanc or not but it smells like rotten lemon with high dose of incense which is not listed here. I wish if I could remove this rotten lemon smell then it would be perfect. Whoever got whiffs of it around me told me that I smell like a vanilla lemon incense stick.
