Peridot

Blind buy. I like this a lot!! I looove the bitter orange and mandarin opening it goes so well with the woody notes and the patchouli. Also can we talk about the packaging?! For this to be so inexpensive, the packaging makes it feel so luxe! And now I want to try the entire Armaf Niche line. But Peridot is definitely a Spring/Summer scent. It’s fresh, clean, woody, and very unique. No doubt I’ll be keeping this in my collection!

Lush green jasmine & tuberose bomb with oily ylang, vanilla and benzoin eventually emerge to add some depth. Perfect all-year round, but I genuinely enjoy this scent profile in the warmer months, so spring & summer. Major projector, lasts 8+ hrs. Another well-done Armaf scent.

Fruity, flowery, slightly spicy and green. The fruitiness is not the sweet, juicy kind but reminds me more of what you get from unripe fruit. Reading the notes, this looks like a scent made for the summer. However, when I wore it in high heat with high humidity, it turned a bit cloying and one of the notes gave off a sickly sweetness (maybe the honeysuckle or the tuberose). No such issues in slighter cooler weather so my recommendation would be for spring and autumn or cooler days in the summer. Good performer with good projection as experienced in the summer heat (unfortunately). In colder weather, I got longevity of over 9hrs (edited). It feels like a lot of good quality essential oils went into this fragrance as it's really pungent. Got it for a great price from an Armaf distributor and the quality (both of the presentation and the scent itself) made me wish I had tried some more fragrances from this line.

I am a big, big fan of Eden. And to me this is the toned down, user-friendy version of Eden. Big, green, cozy Tuberose adorned with florals like a cape. I really like this as an everyday tuberose, but def try before buy.

It is a pleasant green flower smell that morphs into tuberose and ylang ylang. Performance is moderate or worse. Ok as a scent and questionable as a good buy.

Meh...not my kind of tuberose in that it smells more like lily of the valley. It’s a neutered tuberose, completely featureless and non-indolic. Sigh. If anything, this reminds me of Estée Lauder Pleasures which is a better fragrance anyway. There is no drama here. No clarity either. It’s a rather murky composition. Sweetness with no light. As a tuberose lover I thought I would adore this. Nope. Big disappointment.

So I'm the first review! I'll try to do a good job.. This a Tuberose bomb! You must really like Tuberose to consider this. First blast, I get all the flowers Honey Suckle, Ylang Ylang and Jasmine but they soon dry out and leave the stage for a Musky Tuberose. The Tuberose here is very real to me, like you're actually smelling the green raw flowers, my guess is that Armaf uses essential oils rather than synthetic materials, so far I've only seen good quality from them. The rest of the notes, I don't really detect much of them, to me this is a Musky Strong Tuberose.

I think I could get into "Musky Strong Tuberose" but the rest of the notes are a little floral for a male frag, IMO. I have not tried this one yet, but Armaf is becoming the place to go for quality at a reasonable price. I like their musk blends compared to most, but do they have to put patchouli in everything? It ruins CdNIM during it's turn on stage, but luckily fades pretty quickly depending on temperature. I'm wondering if the patchouli in this is more subtle. I see it has the least amount of votes in the notes. That's hopeful.

I just got a new bottle and I get more of the Benzoin/Vanilla out of this one, so agree with the voted notes but I liked my old bottle better, it seemed more enriched with Tuberose.. As for the Dior Poison resemblance, if you would strip Poison out of it's smoky spicy plummy incense, you might end up with this one, but.. It wouldn't be Poison. It's no secret Armaf is a clone house but honestly I can't figure out which one they are aiming at here. And it's labeled unisex but leans feminine to me.

Poison dupe at a fraction of the price but not my cup of tea ..i had to write this review so members know what they are getting since i blind bought it and Im not a poison's fan .. Tuberose is prominent but it is sweet and dark not at all green !

Can anyone compare this to Vert Malachite? The notes look similar to me.
