Platinum

This scent most closely represents Bleu de Chanel Parfum, not Bleu de Chanel or Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum. Platinum has a slight pineapple accord in amongst the bright fresh top notes that’s in common with Bleu de Chanel Parfum, of which overall certainly captures something of the feel of BDC Parfum, especially as it dries down. It’s almost ironic for the fact that Platinum was released well before BDC Parfum so it makes you wonder who’s copying who. I guess just an unintentional coincidence but there you have it. I think the greatest letdown for some however is the fact that Armaf completely misrepresent the notes for Platinum on their website of which the notes shown here on this page are a reflection of that too. The top in Platinum is very bright, none of which is represented here. You’d be better to look at BDC Parfum top and mid to get a better sense of how Platinum’s top to mid behaves. The rest of the notes shown here don’t really reflect the scent as a whole either, very misleading. Platinum does transform quite quickly from that bright top into a warmer mid and base and my call would be sandalwood somewhere in the mix with some very soft spices (maybe a super light nutmeg?), again presenting something of the character of a Bleu de Chanel styled scent. If you enjoy Bleu de Chanel Parfum, you really have to try this to decide if it’s going to be a good fit or not. But that is definitely the scent that most closely represents Platinum and not Lacoste L.12.12 imo - as some have suggested below which I have a decant of the Lacoste too, so feel qualified to say that. Also, I have a sample decant of Platinum from around 2015, one full bottle from 2016 and another 2022 full bottle, all from different sources around the planet and there is no difference between any of them - so all the assumption below about using this scent as an outlet for end of line Armafs is complete rubbish, ignore it.

I'd say quality is certainly as good to my nose as Tom Ford and Creed. Longevity is better than most Creed's and as good as Tom Ford's. Packaging is really top notch, but you can tell on one of my sprayers it kind of shoots rather than sprays, but the bottle is as good as anything I've seen. To my nose Platinum is a bright cedar type frag. That's what I smell. It's bright though, so that's where maybe there's a L'homme vibe someone is getting, but it's more like a really brighter type Guerlain L'homme Boise type scent, with something sweeter than that one.......better quality than the Guerlain as well.............like l'homme meets Guerlain L'homme Boise. After more wearing, I get an Aventus type development. It's not smelling like Aventus, but there is a sweetness to woods development that does in fact remind me of how that scent develops on my skin........the pineapple rich first 30 min - 1hr to nice birch sweet duration, except this is something else sweet to cedar with sweet. I get a vibe of similarity to Aventus, but with different notes, if that makes any sense. I will say that cedar isn't smoke though and some don't like that much woods. I can see if you don't enjoy that type note, this might not be for you. As much as I laud that initial sweetness, it really lays low into the cedar for most of the duration of the scent, like the pineapple fades into a sweet birch, this goes sweet cedar.

This is my fourth Armaf fragrance and I have yet to find one I don't like. I view Le Parfait and Tres Nuit as very similar to one another with subtle differences. CDNIM shared some of their green nature late into the dry down, so I was afraid all of their machinations would share this. Well, Niche Platinum dispelled that notion. The bottle is extremely classy looking. Heavy glass, faded to silver at the bottom. Quality. Upon opening, I could see the spicy, citrus and cedar vibe of BdC. Cedar bomb? Cedar bomb. Not entirely similar though. This one is more clean, without the incense and vetiver (a couple others as well). If BdC was stripped of all dirtiness, this seems like the likely outcome. I am a bit surprised to see no citrus of any flavor listed, there is definitely some there mixed with the cedar and amber. Fairly linear but not a bad thing. Smells classy and significantly more expensive than what I bought it for. I really like it. Longevity and sillage are quite good. Beware, though, this one is anosmia inducing. Everyone is still smelling you. I'd say perfect for spring and summer but this is sig worthy all year. Non-age specific and I think you could use this in nearly any situation. Very versatile. The only problem I have with this one (the same I had at the time of writing my CDNIM review) is that it's nearly impossible to find. Come on Armaf! I want to wear this one every day!

#1145 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I have the Armaf Niche "Black Onyx" (similar to Clive Christian "X") , "Oud" (similar to Serge Lutens "Ambre Sultan"), "Sapphire" (similar to Paco Rabanne "Invictus") and "White Diamond" (similar to Lacoste "L.12.12."). This and the Black Onyx would be my top picks thanks to the myrrh notes. White Diamond I like least. Not a fan of Lacoste or anything they've created. Their stuff always smells like something you'd use to treat a cold sore (which reminds me to donate the White Diamond to the men's shelter). Comes off like CK Euphoria to my nose. If you made this a tad spicier and added an Iris note it would come off very close to Amouage "Interlude Black Iris", which is an all-time favorite for me. In any case, this scent is very nice, with acceptable longevity and projection (makes it to lunch and beyond on the skin, but mostly as myrrh). Car pool, elevator and small office safe. Appropriate for a dinner date. Inexpensive. I love it. Even though they are designated as women's fragrances I will eventually acquire the other "Niche scents" for a girlfriend: "Peridot", "Pink Coral", "Red Ruby", "Purple Amethyst" and "Gold."

This is a sexy modern scent. This reminds me a little of YSL Eau Sauvage Parfum with that huge blast of myrrh.. This one is a bit sweeter with zero green earthy vetiver. This has no green in it, instead it's got a silky smooth cedar wood mixed with spice and sweet, resinous, warm amber. Fiarly thick and heavy for the evenings, although you could go light on the sprays for day time. Excellent date scent, excellent projection and longevity. Overall this is a super super good scent from Armaf. Also the opening smells like a candy for a while, and then the Amber, Myrrh and Labdanum dry down with a little patchouli shine through. It's not something I'd recommend to a teenager, but it's good for a sophisticated 22 year old and up kinda gent. Can be used casual for bar, or dressed up.. very versatile.. just not a freshie by any means. Also I should just mention, this screams MODERN.. this is not an old man scent.

This is my father's signature scent. He's been wearing for almost 6 years and it's definitely less potent than it used to be. I mean, really watered down. I gave him his first bottle and it used to be a beast but his last 2 bottles were considerable weaker than before. One day he said to me "Could it be a fake bottle? because it doesn't last or project as it used to". So, the last time I bought Platinum for my father was in 2022 and I don't think I'll buy it again. Sadly, I can't find something closer to Platinum. None of the "It reminds me of" are even remotely similar.

Beautiful rendition of a signature worthy scent that can be worn on any occasion primarily suited for spring and summer. Professional presentation with extremely higher end packaging. To my nose smells very similar to a cross of Bleu de Chanel and YSL L'Homme with a decent longevity and sillage. Don't pass on this beauty which is definitely a high end ARMAF offering!

Sweet ambery spicy freshness. Huge performance. Smells absolutely different then the notes would imply. Resembles sweeter version of Azure Lime by Tom Ford.

This is one of the best Armaf has in its line,it smells like a fruity smoother dior sauvage,its a 10 out of 10 for me with amazing longevity.

I blind buy it, smells really good and very unique.

@doniking, I've try some of this cheap fragrances and they smell much better than some of the expensive ones! I bought a bottle called Energetic by Al Halal wich is owned by Al Haramain and it smell amazing, similar to Dior Allure sport, but to my nose even better and lasts 8+ hours on my skin and over 24 hours on clothes, it costs £9 for 100ml EDP (shocking). Most of the time we pay for the name (not always). Keep smelling good :)

@doniking, yes it is. This is good for most occasions! The opening is a little spicy (nice spicy), but within a few minutes it softens up and becomes even better. If this had a Armani or Dior logo it would cost no less than £70-80 because it smells so good! This is a well made fragrance for less than £15 for 90ml eau de parfume. If you thinking of buying it, do buy it, you won't be disappointed especially at £15 for EDP

Freshies, Clean, and Spicy. Smells like Al-Rehab Sultan with long lasting performance and strong sillage, if you're an Indonesian then this scent will reminded you with some old mosque-goer man wearing some fragrance to hide his analgesic cream called balsem lang. But it's not all that bad, maybe there'll be someone may it a girls or just another boys will complimenting you.

Its an OK scent. Nothing spectacular and it definately does smell like Bleu De Chanel in the middle but it turns into a skin rather quickly on my skin. I think its safe for the office but I probably wont be reaching for it much based on my arsonal of work frags. Its good for a sunny saturday running errands.

I think it really reminds me of bleu de chanel. But there is 10% smell in it that causes me a headache while there isn't in BDC. My gf also noticed this headache inducing note. It's to sweet for office. I will be afraid to spray more than 2 sprays.

Blind bought this, it Opens up with a blast of Myrtus then it dry down to Oud. It's warm and gentle and kinda feminine for my taste. It's a long lasting and has good sillage. Overall it's nice fragrance but I wouldn't buy it again.

A beasty cheapie. I actually blind bought this and love it. Somehow it reminded me of Dolce & Gabana, one of the light blue series but on steroids.

I have both BDC and BDC Parfum and this Platinum smells NOTHING like them. Some reviews can be rather misleading. This fragrance is fresh, spicy and sweet. It’s nice on its own but nothing like BDC range. Performance is average. Nothing spectacular and it’s office safe. Update after using a few times: Agree with Oudian below regarding the performance. The projection and sillage is basically ZERO. Smells nice but no performance, what's the point then? Don't waste your money on this unless you want to constantly sniff your skin!

I wanted to get this fragrance because the reviews I read here made it sound like this fragrance would be the best of all worlds when it comes to all-around scents like Bleu De Chanel and YSL L'homme. Unfortunately, I feel this is not enough like YSL L'homme or Bleu De Chanel to even mention it as a direct comparison. This scent is like a subtle, spiced hard candy smell - it does start with a blast of cedar but after 5-10min, that candy smell takes over and remains the rest of the way. It's not a sickly sweet candy smell - it is SUBTLE or more nuanced, in a way. My comparisons are Boss Bottled Intense & Lacoste Yellow (+ maybe 1 aspect of Bleu De Chanel). This is not a direct clone of anything - even then, to me, the smell is not interesting enough to buy a full bottle without sampling. Catch my full review on my YT channel: The Scentrovert.

Being a big fan of the Armaf line and having successful blindbuys on CDNIM, Legasi & Craze, I must say this one disappointed me a lot. One of the weakest performers ever, non- existent projection and mild sillage with poor longevity. The scent isn't that great either, very generic, one-dimensional citrus frag. Avoid this one!! (Not sure how it gathered such good reviews in the first place)

This is my first review and I had to create my account to review this perfume. 1) Longivity : I was skeptical about trying this super cheap brand Armaf. Usually fragrances don't last much on me. But I was shocked literally! This is insanely long lasting over my skin and clothes. For a benchmark, it lasts 3 times of what John Varvatos Artisan Pure would lasts on me. I'm blown away. And mind you, I'm using it in Indian hot weather! On Clothes it was projecting even after 10 hrs. 2) Smell : Fresh yet little spicy but in a decent way (I'm not an expert on notes). Trust me, it smells niche. Reminds me of having a cup of herbal ice tea on the top of a hill. (but in a very good way). Cheap fragrances usually open with a blast of alcohol and smell synthetic but trust me, this one smells so natural. You can wear it to office and it'll make you smell like how a well groomed gentleman should smell. I think it's a very versatile perfume except for clubbing. It's one of those perfumes which u can wear before meeting your girlfriend's dad for the first time and all year round. It's a safe fragrance like Nautica voyage but destroys it in longivity, performance and smell. 3) Cost : It will cost you 1/4th of brands like Versace and 1/6th of Dior. If you are looking to buy it, just go for it. Even if you don't like my recommendation, you have nothing to lose. And after getting thoroughly impressed with this first one from Armaf, I've ordered 5 more (including Club de unit intense). Fingers Crossed! Thanks for reading. I'm not sure why this one isn't more popular?!?!?! This is a GREAT scent. Unlike most Armaf products, I don't think this one was inspired by another popular product already on the market. If it was, I'd have to say it kind of reminds me of a mix of Bleu de Chanel and YSL L'Homme, but it's certainly not a copy of either. Maybe even a hint of Sauvage in there. It's sweet, but not overly so. A touch of spice, cedar, and amber. Like any scent, it's a little tough to verbalize, but I can tell you this is some good smelling juice! The scent was definitely intended for men, but I can almost picture some women that like a slightly more masculine scent actually wearing it too. That's not to say it smells feminine, it doesn't, it just doesn't scream super masculine either. One thing it's not is harsh, it's smooth from the onset and becomes very smooth after it lays down. Someone else mentioned that it's modern, and not an old man scent... I would agree with those comments. I would also agree with the comments suggesting that it can be worn almost anytime and for almost any event. At the time of this writing, Platinum goes for about $29 on Armaf's site. At this price it's a fantastic deal and completely worthy of a blind buy. The container/box is very nice and the juice smells so much more expensive than it actually is. Buy this one! Love a good performing cheapie. Based off some of the reviews on here and on Youtube, I picked up a bottle of this for around $28. I'm not sure if I got a bad bottle or something, but this doesn't smell very much like any of the accords listed here. It smells very lime/cedar heavy. Although the bottle itself looks and feels great, it is very poorly constructed. The plastic part connecting the atomizer to the glass isn't glued together very well, so it leaks constantly. When I initially received the bottle about half of it had leaked out while it was in transit. I had the same issue where the plastic part would disconnect with another fragrance I purchased in this line (Black Onyx), but luckily that one didn't leak. I've heard of other people having this problem as well. Sadly this has probably the absolute worst performance out of all the fragrances in my collection. I can spray it 15x on skin and it's literally gone within minutes. At first I thought I was going anosmic to it instantly, but that's not the case because at no point after I apply do I ever even catch subtle wafts of it. And I don't think that anyone can smell it off me either. Perhaps because of the faulty atomizer air got into the bottle and tainted the fragrance, which is causing the poor performance. I'm not sure honestly, but I won't be picking up another bottle to find out.

@DaniloRod Yeah man, its sorta crazy how as soon as (Even these clones) get reformulated and watered down once the hype is gone. Out of my 100+ bottle collection, what is possibly my FAVORITE FRAGRANCE (clone or not) is Armaf's Milestone (Creed's Millesime Imperial clone). It seems like everytime I wear it, I get multiple compliments, and the scent just lingers on and on and ON, even hours after I'msure it'scompletely gone, someone will comment on how they like my fragrance! I've heard that the OG Millesime Imperial doesn't even perform nearly as well as Milestone does due to bad reformulations. What I did was just grab a back-up bottle of Milestone now so I could get ahead of any reforms bc It would be a real shame if in the future, I got stuck with newer, weaker bottles of Milestone especially since its so inexpensive these days. Anyhow, I wish you and your pops luck in scoring an older batch of Armaf's Niche Platinum. Be blessed!🙂

Love this juice. It’s not daring.. bold.. or one of a kind. It’s like if I took a bunch of frags I love and put them into one. The dry down is amazing to my nose. It’s december and it’s got longevity for sure. Projection is good as well. It’s simple but kind of classy. I could wear this any time of year.. any occasion. Sweet with spice on the opening but not spicey. It reminds me a lot of white Lacoste, but polished. Some say YSL L’homme and I can see what they mean. Overall a very safe bet. Not a dated scent.. it’s got youth from its sweetness and has a little fresh going on too. If someone gave it to me I’d think a.) they really like me.. b.) they already have it.. c.) are crazy to not keep it. Great juice.

You would not beleive, I had to write this - you say it smells like Lacoste blanc, I bought this package which mentioned Armaf Niche Platinum but inside the box it was Armaf Niche Diamond White bottle, which is indeed similar to Lascoste blanc. I do not know what is happening. Armaf has been known for doing this kind of stuff, like different names but same juice. In your case, this time they have poured different smelling juice from the same line in the bottle you have received or changed the bottle or the sticker on it. They must have excess of compounds to get rid off. Many more people need to bring this to light and YouTube reviewers reading this, kindly spread awareness.

The review are alway general and non specific which misleads readers. All reviews about this scent is great frag and similar to YSL bla bla but nobody has said the opening is good fresh citrusy spicy glassy and very similar to the poor performer Dunhill Icon Elite but the problem is the middle note and the base, it develops after one hour to oudy note although oud is not there and after two or three hours itbgets pure sandal wood scent which is very similar oud and gets super sickening to me. The scent sticks for 24 hours or more and really makes me sick. I will never buy this thing again and the bottle I have will donate it to someone who likes this type scent..

Tried it today in a shop n upon spraying it on my hand it reminded me of another frag but i couldnt pinpoint it n after i left the shop it came to my mind, L'homme by YSL is how it smells like.i went back to that store n bought myself one.ok now upon trying both side by side they r not the same but r in the same ballpark.it has much better projection n longevity than L'homme though.i love this one.

I get more tea and white musk from this, similar to Silver Mountain Water by Creed. I like it so far, pretty light projection but I didn’t put it on too heavily.

There is a resemblance with YSL L'Homme to my nose. The bottle and the juice are fantastic.

I just got this. It is not BDC. It may come around to YSL L' Homme. Time will tell.
