Private Key To My Life

I am not a person who seeks compliments. Although I don't think so, if I could say I have a signature scent, it would be Gucci guilty absolute, which I consider a masterpiece. Yesterday I put on the key to my life and went to a mall near my house. At one point when I was inside a large store with my wife, a loud woman's voice was heard saying "Oh my god this perfume smells so good! who wears it?" I didn't realize he meant me but my wife told me. The unknown lady apologized for my indiscretion and asked to smell the perfume up close. When she smelled it she made a loud noise as if she had reached an orgasm. Everyone stopped and they were looking at us. I was so embarrassed while my wife was laughing. Beast mode performance, room filler. But not recommended for shy people. Edit: Today at work the same "problems". Almost all my colleagues ask what perfume is this and so far they have brought me 3 post it to note down the name of the perfume. Again we had an appeal to God (Oh my god, what a nice scent!) from one of my colleagues. Indeed this perfume has Tygar, BDC and CDNIM in it but so far I can't see the association with D&G K. But that doesn't mean it smells like one and the other. The best part is that it has the depth of all three scents together. All of this should be seen by all those who sell their perfumes at unimaginably high prices. If I could make one tweak to this perfume, I would tone down the florals and up the citrus a bit more.

For me, the best one from the Private Key line as I mostly like fresh scents. This is a great one for spring and summer with great longevity and decent projection. I mostly smell citruses and florals, with musk and some super light woods in late drydown. The pepper notes are not as strong as at the time I bought it almost 2 years ago. I never tried Tygar, so not sure if it's close or not. It's not that similar to BDC except for being a blue scent too. I like this one more for daytime wear.

Salohcin yes, you are correct, I feel like this is what the Cdim limited edition should have been. It has an intense burst of freshness to the scent, if the pineapple was at the top I would have said this should have been LE, either way I kinda like this more than limited edition. Sillage pretty good, and on skin get about 4 to 6 hrs but on clothes it lasts a few days. 10/10.

If you love Club De Nuit Intense Man, in whatever concentration. But like me you find they all pretty much smell the same. Then this is right up your alley! It's got that same vibe but smells completely different. I love it! More floral than Cdnim, and a slightly different citrus vibe. Definitely buying a backup as I will burn through this first bottle! Super blind buy win!!!

Smells great doest radiate across a room but definitely not a skin scent ... someone's mom is willing to do something sketch when she smells this.. fruity well balanced not too sweet.

Great frag! Love the Citrus woodiness going in there. But very similar to CLUB DE NUIT ICONIC so had to give one away Scent : 7.5/10 Projection : 6/10 Longevity : 8/10

I bought this entire line last summer when it first came out, and I wasn’t impressed with any of it. I did keep them because I like the presentation, and have been revisiting these recently. When I first got this, I got a huge blast of sour fruit and I thought it was very overpowering, and not something I wanted to smell like. Now, coming back to it, the opening is still quite a punch, but under the 13 different citruses there’s a well done combo of pink/black pepper that gives it a spicy zing. As this calms, the flowers and musks come forward and I really feel like this is where it shines. I get rose, I get I get jasmine, I still get pink pepper, I get some woods; I get a lot of things that I like together, and I appreciate this much more than I first did. It’s so much more than its zesty, Tygar-esque opening, and I’m glad I came back to this. It will be in my summer rotation this year, for sure. Longevity is solid, especially for a citrus freshie. Easily getting 8 hours on skin, I would assume this will shine on in the heat. For $40, I think this is a steal!

I haven't smelled Tygar so can't comment on how close it is, but this is a familiar scent. The opening is HEAVY on the pepper, bright with the Citrus, and the dry down is noticeably Bleu de Chanel. If any of you are familiar with Burberry The Beat for men, smells like that mixed with BdC. I'd go as far to say it's redundant to own if you own either of those two (or clones like Blue Iconic from Armaf) Longevity and sillage are actually solid on this. Easy 5 hours+ preformance. Overall 8.5/10

This is a weird one. To me, it's surprisingly weak and has minimal sillage. I don't even get the mid notes it becomes so faint on my skin. What I get is a high quality citrusy-peppery opening with hints of ginger. Interestingly some of my colleagues also find it weak whereas others claim smelling it from offices apart... I don't know what to think. Batch: 2024/04

Its Confusing , after 5 wears i still don't know what the f*ck this smells like , its smells different after every sniff and i can barely smell it even after spraying and its nothing like turathi blue .

So, I've I have had PKTML for a year now. I got it based on a ""Influencer"" recommendation, and I will be honest. I never had a fragrance that behaves the way this one does. So, it starts off promising right of the first spray, and that's every single spray. Then immediately it turns completely flat. No true performance at all. Now that it's a little cheaper, I may get another bottle just to check to see if it's just my bottle. As of this post I can't confidently recommend it. If you just want to have that "Tygar, Bleu De" DNA just take something like Afnan Turathi Blue, and layer it with Armaf CDN Iconic. Same scent better performance.

I just tried all 5 kind of Private at the store. Private key to my Life opening is very, very similar to Cub de Nuit LE/Aventus DNA with a citrus scent that gives a pineapple-like feeling. After 30 minutes, when it dries down, it is exactly Bleu de Chanel, unmistakably. After 1 hours, more drydown the more Tygar/Turathi scent. In short, it is a combination of Cub de Nuit LE + (Bleu de Chanel + Tygar/Turathi). The longevity and projection of this Private series is needless to say, very good. If you can find it for around $40, it's also worth it ($50 i'll say NO). The bottle is heavy, smooth atomizer, and it has a magnetic cap.

I had high hopes for this after looking at the notes. The fruits last for about 30 seconds, then it just settles into a faint floral scent. Have to really sniff my arm as I don't get much projection at all. This is after letting it macerate for a good six months too. Disappointed.

Bought it last year and wasn’t in love it so I sat it on the shelf. Tried it out today and I still don’t like it. Citrusy smell that doesn’t pack a punch for me. 5/10.

I thoroughly enjoyed my journey with Armaf’s offering. It’s a vibrant, complex scent that kept me intrigued through its entire wear. In a few words: it’s freshly sparkly, then warmly sexy. TOP NOTES This is how you do a proper clone perfume and give even more to your customers. There are no cutbacks on ingredients and a proper high-end release for less than you would spend for dinner. On my skin, the initial spray emerges as a vibrant citrus-fruity blast. I immediately detect the scents of grapefruit and bergamot, which provide a lively, zesty freshness. Along with the fruitiness, there’s a dash of pink pepper spice that tickles the nostrils and adds a lively “zing” to the citrus. It is very sparkling and energetic, and even after these short couple of minutes, you know that you have found the best alternative to Bvglari’s Tygar. HEART NOTES About 20 minutes in, the fragrance softens into the heart. There are some florals here, but not as much as the note breakdown would suggest. I mainly detect some faint Lily of the Valley, gentle rose, and a pinch of magnolia. The rest of the heart is that pink pepper going strong and ambroxan slowly creeping in even before the base notes start to show up. BASE NOTES After about 2–3 hours, Armaf dries down to its base. To be honest, the only things I get here are the white musk and a heavy dose of quite pleasing ambroxan that creates an ultra-modern aroma. It is a simple but effective creation that is easy to describe and does its job better than expected each time I wear it. OVERALL Most likely, the only one I’ll keep from the whole line is the one I’ll use on hot summer days when I just want to smell great and not think too much about it. There are a few things I have to say about this one based on my first wears. This is what I expected the CDNIM limited edition to be. I get a lot of the CDMIN pineapple in the top but it's the smoothest version of that pineapple note . I also think that if I paid the retail asking price (thinking there would be matching higher quality materials) I would be mad. The quality here is better, but it's the blend that really stands out from prior Armaf releases (to my nose). To me it’s a CDNIM-LE elevated with BDC mashed up. I will say that is my favorite from the house and it's a great dumb reach. Its a 20% extrait but it is diffusive and had moderate projection and sillage and lasted 8 hours. Overall, I'm happy with the $60 I paid for this. It’s better than any designer releases I would have picked up in this range. I will wear it a few more times and update my review. I will confess that most clones have an unlying funk, sharp/harshness, or chemical smell to my nose that can be offputting. I have experienced this in the past with Armaf as well. I did not expereince in this release.
