Space Age

As an owner of this perfume, I agree with the note breakdown given here. Space Age has a somewhat complex, and sophisticated scent profile. Based on what the scent profile is, I decided to buy it, and later, a back up bottle. You wouldn't think that it would be a nuclear scent with the notes seen here, but believe me it is. To me, it's powdery, fruity, and floral with a background of vanilla. It is also soapy clean, yet soft. Is it possible for a scent to have powdery qualities to it, yet be so juicy, brought on by the fruity notes? Yes it is with Space Age. This perfume is labeled as Unisex. This is a good neutral scent that doesn't really lean in either direction, so it can be rocked by both MEN and WOMEN. It is also versatile, and can be used in most situations. The longevity is off the charts. I use three squirts of this. Two in the shirt, one on the back of the neck. I can still smell it on me the day after application. No reapplication is needed in my experience. This definitely gives outstanding bang for the buck here. In my book, this was another blind buy that was definitely well worth it.

I am fortunate enough to have this fragrance fairly sooner after it was released. It was a blind buy after watching a review on Perfume Emotions channel on YouTube. It has turned out to be the best blind buy I have ever had.This absolutely is out of the space fragrance. I agree that it is more feminine, but it is awesome not awful. It has great performance. I don't get vanilla or Tonka in it, however it definitely has floral fruity notes.I have kept this as my treasure. Males who like floral fruity fragrances must try this.For females it is highly recommended.

I was skeptical on getting this one because I couldn’t really find any reviews. But man this is good i got get the hate on this one. if you’re not sure about it. just get it

As much as I like this fragrance, I have absolutely no idea why it has been called "space age". It has about as much to do with space as I do with slaying gypsies. EDIT: I now understand that it is a dupe of "Space Race"... Nevertheless, Space Age is pleasant. To me, it smells like someone has spliced Bakarat Rouge and Black XS. It is very sweet, with bright fruit tones excitedly jumping off your neck like an enthused assailant, that is trying to stamp their marks all over you. It will fill your nostrils with it's upbeat vibe, but I feel it goes a little bit too far and becomes annoying, like a toddler having a turbopaddy, because you've said no to it's request for ice cream. Not many smooth tones in this. Instead, Space Age tries to kill you with immense sweetness, much like zero sugar Pepsi that you've mistakenly bought, thinking you were getting the proper one. I would also say that Space Age is better suited to a female, as it is in no way masculine. But it does get a little ride out on my skin from time to time. Fairly cheap too, which works in it's favour. 5/10. Dupes do not get high votes with me. It is also purely average.

I agree with that person 🔻🔻🔻 including their description except that I get more tonka & vanilla trying to take the spotlight with the fruity pear & orange hiding behind the curtain until intermission when a savory patchouli🕺starts flirting with a mature rose accord💃 on a musky stage. 👏👏👏 Otherwise yeah, it does smell like a mix of BR540 & Black XS! It is a powerful perfume but Armaf designed this bottle with an atomizer that sprays a small, appropriate amount making it difficult to accidentally overdo. I wish more companies would do this! I despise the ones who release like 5ml in each pump. 😣 What a waste. With this gorgeous bottle design, a conservative atomizer pump and unique formulation, this blind buy was worth the $30 I spent. I'm glad to have it in my collection and will wear it probably a lot this fall. 🍁 Lasts much longer on dry skin (wait until it blooms to top with unscented lotion) and on natural fabrics like cotton, cashmere and wool. 7/10 Great design all around, strangely nice perfume.

I bought this to scratch an itch as I had heard it was similar to a Byredo Ltd edition which I had no chance of getting hold of. I havent managed to get my nose of the og but was reliably informed this was close. It’s a fruity musky sweet smelling scent with an overload of sweet juicy citrus I don’t really get florals from it. I can see me reaching for this as a summer scent but I’m also glad that I got the dupe rather than the very expensive OG

Not what I expected but enjoyable. I was interested in this because I used to love black xs (men’s) from years ago - and a few people said it was similar. Not as I recall it for sure. To me it’s like a slightly more masculine less screechy valaya / mystique bouquet with a touch more fruitiness . ( it needed to sit a week) I wear this to the gym. It’s less fruity than I expected - more musky with a hint of fruits.

Nose Note #116 It's a vague mix of fruits that's in every way "meh" Sweet, may suit any occasion, both genders, but it's just so in the middle and so mediocre. Doesn't develop much, doesn't excite, doesn't turn you off. Gives you little feelings

got it as blind buy as there was no reviews anywhere due to this being a new release at the time. AWFUL. i do not wish my worst enemy to smell like this. 1. 100% female scent 2. its so disgusting i cant even describe 3. awful 4. so sweet it will make you puke 5. avoid

The reviewer below me sums it up perfectly. BUT there might be something more to this. My gf thinks it’s more masculine than feminine. And I’m not sure what to think. It has this fruitiness that feels very powerful and almost a bit sickening. But it’s kind of light and playful at the same time. Underneath, there is this bubblegum-ish scent that makes it sweet and a bit deeper. And you can at times smell a bit flowers with that funky undertone some flowers may have. It’s fruity, it’s sweet, and heavy. But at the same time, it’s light, airy and clean. It smells a bit like something you could smell in a hair salon. I’m not sure who it’s for. I also get this medical vibe of 540. I think it would suit a woman better than a man, but at the same time, I think you can get a lot of compliments as a man with this. And just as I think this, I also think that this is so inoffensive and bland that it could be any cheap celebrity fragrance. It’s good. It’s really good. I’m just not sure who it’s really good for. What kind of personality that would wear this.

After reading and making comparisons, I finally blind bought this full bottle. Very disappointed. Most said this is like Byredo Space Rage, which is similar to Byredo Pulp. I want to get the latter, but it's out of my range. What I get is Maison Al Hambra Narcotic Flower plus Gucci Rush, which I already have. No ripe fruits whatsoever. Unless this is how Byredo Pulp smells like - I haven't really smelled it. Anyway, what a let-down. It even performs poorly, but it probably needs maturation? At this point, I don't really care because I already have a dupe of Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique. Which now I have two.

Space Age smells like Pez Dispenser candies. Powdery and sweet with a tinge of vanilla. The first time I sprayed Space Age, it reminded me of Zara's "Go Fruity." Maybe it'll mature, it probably won't. I don't find it cloying or overwhelming... just flat and run of the mill. Oddly, the nozzle smells like BR540... but I don't get that at all upon spraying.
