The Pride of Armaf For Women

This is really nice! I won’t lie though, when I smelled it (before spraying it), I thought I just bought another Yara perfume. After spraying it and wearing it (this is a pretty beastly performer in terms of projection and longevity), it definitely does share some similarities with Yara BUT they’re not the same. This is deeper and sexy and bit more grown up, while Yara is more flirty, airy and playful with some depth to it (on me, Yara smells exactly like Burberry Her Elixir and I love it). Okay so people wanna know if it’s a dupe for Good Girl; that’s probably why you’re reading this. I just had to share the similarities I noticed between it and Yara. I think this definitely has the Good Girl DNA, but it’s a little deeper. And Armaf projects wayyyy more. Armaf is like an amplified version of Good Girl. I happen to have both but you definitely don’t need both. I’d say Armaf is the winner it my book. It gives you more of everything that Good Girl has and builds on it further. The more I’ve let them settle (I am doing a side by side—or wrist by wrist?— comparison as I write this) the less I can tell the difference between them. Like I said, the only true difference I detect is that Armaf just has louder projection and carries it’s spicier notes into the dry down, whereas Good Girl becomes much quieter and softer. Not to keep repeating myself, but this is what a lot of folks wish Good Girl was I think. It’s beautiful! Definitely recommend if you’re seeking this out as a dupe for Good Girl!

I don't smell any resemblance to Hypnotic Poison. At all. Smells 85-90% like CH Good Girl mixed with something. Maybe a light version? Definitely sisters. When comparing, GG smells more floral to me in general and the sillage is arm's length for 2 hrs before settling to a skin scent. Total lasts around 5-6 hrs. They are both sweet floral orientals scents that I love. PoA: the cocoa/tonka mixed with orange blossom/jasmine really stands out to me on the dry down. I can smell the cocoa consistently which I really enjoy. Relaxing and comforting. No one could differentiate the 2 smells from my arm after an hour which is awesome. Also lasts 5-6 hrs, but is a skin scent after an hour. I'm very happy with PoA and don't think I'll be buying a $100 GG perfume for a similar experience.

I haven't had a sample of Good Girl, just a whiff in the store, so I'm not sure if they are similar but for about $25, I got a very warm, comforting fragrance that's sweet yet potent. I'm very happy with my Pride of Armaf blind buy in this case. At first sniff of the bottle, it reminds me a little of Nature Millenaire by Yves Rocher that was discontinued, but I still have a little bit of - they are not the same, but similar in a minor way. After the start of white florals, I get a cacao/tonka/almond drydown. Not strong on the coffee note for me. Pride of Armaf came in a nice box and I appreciate the display. I get about 8 hours out of it and it usually lingers on clothing for the next day. For me, this performs well in cooler temps but is good for any time of the day.

Love at first wear! The first 10-15 minutes it smells very synthetic on me—but ohhh, what comes after is absolute heaven!! I’m not experienced enough yet to pick out specific notes, though I’m positive that I didn’t get the first hint of coffee unfortunately. It is sweet, but not overly so in my opinion. This is an absolute BEAST on longevity for me. It easily lasted over 12 hours. Sillage was ok: enormous for the first 3 hours; strong for another 2; moderate for another 2. It became a skin scent around the 7 hour mark, which is pretty good when you consider the price point. Overall—I won the blind buy gamble.

A definite love; CH Good Girl with the cacao powder note amped up very high and made a touch sweeter with a more dominant marzipan-like almond. Very delicious and warmly inviting, lasts for 12 hrs at least on skin, and days on clothes. Perfect for cold weather, and a very affordable addition to a collection.

Hypnotic Poison and CH Good Girl... That type. Pretty good. If you love those two. You'll like this. Since, it's a good smelling juice, pretty good quality & inexpensive. A modern looking sleek bottle. I'm thinking it'll make a good gift-giver for the upcoming holidays.

It's smells really good. In the beginning there's a lot of amber which dries down significantly. Then there's a vanilla patchouli scent with a light touch of cocoa. Very lovely.

It literally smells like a more refined version of good girl but much better no matter what I have to do I've got to get my hands on this.

Warm fall wonderful perfume. Sweet and sexy. Very nice.

It's pretty! Super perfumey in its initial wearing, but dries down to a warm sweet jasmine, almond and coffee concoction. Definite good girl DNA, but I don't have that one in my collection as it never really wowed me enough for the price tag. There's something in the formula that pulls plasticky/rubbery on my skin but it's very far away, and so in the background that you can't pick up on it in the air which I suppose is what really matters. This also may not be an issue for everyone.

The Pride of Armaf is really lovely, pleasant, and uplifting. It leads with warm cocoa pod, creamy tonka, orange flower, and sweet almond. It’s a very versatile and enjoyable scent to wear. It is thought of as reminiscent of Good Girl. While it is in the same genre, I can easily tell it isn’t the same fragrance. I’m not sure you’d need both, though. The sillage and longevity are moderate on me. Very feminine. An outstanding value.

Just got it, it's currently floral heavy, which isn't my fave, but definitively has the gg dna. Will update as this macerates. I hope it's better performing than bint hooran. Update: it's macerated, smells very close to gg. Better performance than bint hooran, and better than qimmah from lattafa. This is the best clone.

Not sure if I like this or not. I think patchouli happens to come through a bit strong on my skin right from the start, along with the cocoa, florals and nut. For me it's kind of smothering if I spray a spot twice. I have learned that I have to spray very very little of this, otherwise it gets overwhelming. One spray per spot is enough. I don't like the slight herbal tinge from the patchouli I get from the very start, I find it weird note to be mixed with the cocoa and almond. Maybe it is just how this perfume happens to mix with my body chemistry. I ended up trying to smooth it out by layering a vanilla body spray over it. That seemed to make it somewhat tolerable. I'm not sure if it smells like Good Girl by Carolina Herrera, maybe just a little semblance to that perfume. In any case, I feel that this perfume has an elegance to it. I feel that it is a fragrance that is suitable for elegant/formal situations - definitely not casual (well, not for me). Maybe others feel differently. Someone mentioned that this has a bit of spiciness to it and is deep and has projection - I think that description they gave is very good take on this perfume. Unfortunately, I don't think this perfume works for my taste.

I would describe this as the introvert twin of CH GG. the opening is more subtle, some say synthetic but in my opinion it is less cloying than GG and more of a pleasant floral sweet scent. The opening doesn’t last long though. You can get the base notes within 15 minutes which is very similar to GG. good longevity and sillage. Base notes are less complicated than GG. you get the cocoa and tonka. I don’t get much patchouli personally but it’s definitely there. Base notes are sweet and warm but not sharp or overpowering. GG gives me a little bit of nausea in warm weather but this one doesn’t. Armaf pride is not as dominant or loud as her twin sister, but definitely they share the same DNA. Great value and the packaging is surprisingly well. I am truly impressed by Armaf and will definitely try more from this brand.

At first I really hated this. It was so synthetic and reeked of alcohol, almost like bug spray. Then, I gave it a second chance. The alcohol opening is still there, but the synthetic smell fades within 15 minutes and you are left with a beautiful warm and comforting scent. I really get the cacao with this one. I do think the dry down is similar to CH Good Girl and I think anybody who likes that will like this. It also lasts a long time. For the price, I can put up with the offensive alcohol opening.

This smells like CH good girl after it dries down. It’s warm, sweet, spicy but it’s not loud. GG is pretty loud and has floral notes for the first hour, while this one mellows out pretty quickly. If you like how GG wears on you after the dry down then this is almost identical, but just like GG this isn’t a safe blind buy. This wears about 7 hours on my skin, again same as GG on my skin. Given that this is more mellow, it might be safer to wear at more occasions.

Fragrantica, please add the white version of this perfume, it is a clone of BC540 and it is way better than any other.

The Pride of Armaf pour Femme WHITE is clone Baccarat Rouge, very very close and great performance!

I hope they will include the white flanker of this fragrance. I read it is a dupe for BR540 EDP.
