Tres Altin

WOW ! If you love gardenia, this is the perfect perfume for you. Starts out strong with a full blown heady gardenia blended equally with sultry semi-sweet bitter oranges. The other notes come into play, dancing lightly around the gardenia that takes center stage. NO POWDER in this one at all. Instead a deep soft honey mixed with sweet amber add to the base and patchouli is there, but minimal. Gorgeous, deeply sexy perfume that lasts at least 6 hours on skin. If you wear this to work, wait about a half hour after spraying for it to settle into skin. After that, it's inoffensive, safe, and you will detect a soft sultry cloud around you all day long, noticeable by anyone leaning close to you. Leaves a gentle "come hither" trail for at least 5 hours. After work, respray and go out to dinner or dancing. Very modern, very sexy full bodied perfume Beautiful !

Bottle: Not everyone will agree, but I love these leather bound Armaf bottles. They feel portable. This one bears a tasteful shiny gold leather. (Just kidding! Gold leather = tacky. But who cares, I am not wearing the bottle.) Name: Tres Altin is a chimera name including French and Turkish (altin is a noun that means gold in Turkish). Very Gold. Adverb followed by a noun, Typical Armaf name, like a phrase run back and forth through an online tanslator. It is what it is. Their attempts at French just slay me...Tres Jour, Le Femme, funny stuff. Scent: Wow, wow, beautiful bitter orange and neroli opening that transitions into a sweet gardenia. All packaging and branding quirks are forgiven. I have not tried the Kors Gold Rose edition, but if I see it I definitely will. Strength: Opening is bright and clear; dry down is quieter. Day scent, office friendly. This scent is very wearable. I like to layer it with a frankincense and myrrh lotion from a natural foods store. The fragrances blend very well. Price: You're kidding.

Smells like Daisy by Marc Jacobs. A generic kind of white floral with the gardenia and orange in the back giving it a slight sweet fruitiness, if you like scents like Daisy or Miss Dior then you'll LOVE this! Not a bad blind buy for 24 bucks! It smells really pretty but kind of boring, I'll try it again when the weather gets warmer. -The dry down is more like Miss Dior, patchouli and sweet oranges

This is a wonderful rich dupe of Kors Gold Rose edition. Its a honeyed fruity gardenia/tuberose, golden in feel.. Bitter Orange and LOV keep this from cloying. The rose note stands out so think of this as a honeyed floral. A great buy for the price. Sillage is moderate.
