I don’t miss Tom Ford’s oud wood anymore!

Good value, mass appealing for an Oud scent.

Some of the other Armafs I own were disappointing pre-maceration so I will wait 6 months and give this one a chance. I've been looking for an alternative to TFOW and this comes somewhat close, albeit for the first 8 mins, after which the top notes devolve into an unrecognizable floral / powdery ambro-mess. Noteworthy, there is no "oud" here. Only a saffron + cardamom combo which emulates TFOW. I don't expect beastly silage or longevity after this macerates. But if the top notes last 20 precious more minutes I'll call the endeavor a success. Can't complain too much considering its 1/20th the price of the OG motherf*cker. There is not a chance in hell this is a safe blind buy. Do try before you buy.

Lemon and saffron. Great quality, but I also smell something similar to benzoin. Honestly, it reminds me of a 70yrs old grandmother :/

Had a blind buy. Scent is too strong. And too synthetic. Needs improvement.

It smells like a cab driver in NYC in August at the end of an all day 12 hour shift four days straight. BO funk and ass. I was excited to try this one and it smells disgusting. Don’t bother with this just save your money for Carved Oud from Thameem

Good fragrance. Certainly uniq compared to other light woodier office scents, and I like it. Very long lasting too. I sprayed my arm once 12 hours ago, fell asleep, and still got a good whiff of it just now. NOT TF Oud wood. Same kind of vibe though. still a relatively light fake smelling oud, but definitely not the same as oud wood, which is a soft westernized fake oud that almost doesn't smell like oud at all. This one is much closer to the real oud I usually smell in middle eastern fragrances. Not animalic or stinky, but noticeably oudier than most Woody westernized scents. Reviewer below must be sensitive to a particular note of these oud and fake oud scents. I don't find it stinky at all. It is definitely more middle eastern than most designer scents, but not so much so that consumers here wouldn't like it.

I'm not sure there is an oud note in this at all. Mostly I just smell a strong amber woody type of smell, from the ambroxan/ambrocenide combo they used. I was hoping some of the other notes listed might come through a bit more but it's mostly that synthetic ambergris type of smell. Interesting but not super wearable
