Voyage Brown

Fragrance notes from Armaf’s website: Top Note: Grapefruit, Sage, Cardamom, Iris Middle Note: Violet Leaves, Cinnamon, Lavender Base Note: Woody Notes, Tonka Beans Ran out of this fragrance a bit over a year ago. I loved it. It was a great fall/ winter fragrance. Preformance on my skin was amazing, it projected well and lasted for 6+ hours. For 20 bucks it’s hard to say no to this. I’m definitely going to pick up another bottle.

From a newbies point of view, I find this scent to be good. Very simplistic, very basic, non offensive and perfect for every day every occasion in my most humble opinion. This scent is basic and affordable. I think it's unfair to compare this bottle and scent to the more expensive ones. It is what it is and in this price range you simply can't demand too much. It's fresh in the opening and as it dries down it's just there, sitting in the background givin off this very mellow round scent of " winter spices". This scent is harmless and comfortable unless you choose to smash the bottle against your head or overspray 20 and more times of course, as with any other perfumes. I got it real cheap , it was on sale and was recommended for fall/autumn and winter. I'm glad I bought it. It definitely reminds me of other perfumes but I wouldn't be able to tell you which. Probably similar to some of the axe products but much more refined and elegant. Excellent choice for a newbie or as a gift to some one you like .....or even dislike maybe .

#788 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I know I've smelled this before from when I focused on reviewing under $30 scents. Put's me in mind of Reyane Tradition's "Insurrection II Wild", Armaf "Radical Brown", even a touch of Mugler "Pure Havane" minus the honey. Could this be a Mont Blanc "Emblem" clone as others have suggested? Can't say. So far I've only owned "Emblem Intense" and this ain't that. It's very likeable, solid performer, but I would probably not wear this in the car pool or the office. And to me it very much comes off as "mature", so whether it's a date scent I think would be very age dependent.

This is like medicine on steroids it smells like alot of synthetic odors i do not recommend. Smell-2/10 Performance-10/10 Versatility-1/10 Overall Rating-1.5/10

Armaf Voyage Brown EDP is nearly identical to Armaf Futura La Homme Intense, with the addition of Iris added to the top notes in Voyage Brown. Both Voyage Brown and Futura La Homme Intense are clones of Montblanc Emblem. I sprayed this four times on my neck (two each on my left and right), and I have received a good performance from 8-12 hours, and sillage lasts about 6-7 hours for more than an arm's length. I can see myself wearing this EDP in a casual, office, date-night, but definitely not in sports/gym settings. Both day and night are suitable with this fragrance. Personally, Voyage Brown is a good buy, but you can opt for Futura La Homme Intense which is slightly cheaper if you're ordering it from the U.S. Nicely done by Armaf. Edit: Armaf Voyage Brown should fall under the Aromatic Spicy group, which the group has already included Futura La Homme Intense and Montblanc Emblem.
