Voyage

The projection and longevity on this is in beast mode territory. I sprayed this on a hoodie and the only way to get it to stop projecting was to wash the hoodie a week later. I would describe the scent profile as spicy and powdery up front, with some sweet undertones. The powderiness if very prominent. This smells fantastic when it has a lot of air to move around in, but if you get close to the source it can give you a very stuffy nose sort of feeling.

Even though the notes of Voyage and Emblem are very similar, the formulation is very different. Emblem is more harsh and Sage forward. Voyage is more Lavender and Citrus, almost like a spicy Cool Water scent. In my opinion, Voyage is 100% better than Emblem.

This review is for Armaf Voyage Intense. I'm posting it here because there's no entry for the Intense version on Fragrantica. Upscale scent for a very cheap price. Honestly, Armaf and Lalique deliver the goods when it comes to price/quality. The pepper reminds me of Santos de Cartier. For sure a night-time event scent. Also the drydown is somewhat similar to Santos, minus the coconut, making it a bit more sharp and woody but brighter at the same time. The Jasmine note really pops in here but the added Ginger gives it an interesting spicy twist. The Laurel gives an herbaceous feel that shows up after the 1 hour mark more prominently. Although i wouldn't call this a straight up complex fragrance, i cannot call this "linear" either as it shows some interesting transformations throughout its duration. As far as performance goes, it's a 12 hour scent easily. Loud too, so don't overspray this, it can get heavy even though it reads as a smoother/softer scent.

I was not sure just after i blind bought it but it is seriously amazing ! It is moderately sweet very well blended scent. It is hard to describe single notes because it is so blended. Very universal, day and night scent (day preferably). It is very inoffensive, blindbuy worthy. Sillage is good for first hour then it gets pretty soft to turn into skin scent in 2-3 hours. On the other hand, longevity is amazing (all day on me, 2 days on clothes). It has nothing to do with Dior Homme, i would put it somewhere between Invictus/Hawas vibe (without aquatics, herbal instead) and Montblanc Legend Intense. Not very spicy, probably a little more masculine floral with touch of spices. I recommend a lot ! Sillage: 6/10 Longivitity: 8/10 Scent: 9/10 Overall: 8/10

Old batches were beast mode, after 2020 these are watered down very badly, now it lasts like 4-5 hours. Pleasent versatile scent. 7.0/10

RATING AS A DUPE: The same issues I have with Born in Roma are amplified here. The initial spray is nauseating with sandalwood and sharp wood notes. The spiciness doesn't go away until hours later and it never eases up. If you like the woodiness and intensity of Born in Roma you'll love this. Overall the dry down isn't rewarding and it feels one dimensional. On its own, it's a great fragrance for the price. I think I paid around $25 which is a steal.

For 15€ this should take place in anyone’s rotation,super easy to wear and super enjoyable.

Armaf Voyage Brown EDP is nearly identical to Armaf Futura La Homme Intense, with the addition of Iris added to the top notes in Voyage Brown. Both Voyage Brown and Futura La Homme Intense are clones of Montblanc Emblem. The listed notes from Sterling Parfums -Armaf's website are as follows, Top Notes: Grapefruit, Sage, Cardamom, Iris Middle Notes: Violet Leaves, Cinnamon, Lavender Base Notes: Woody Notes, Tonka Beans Here is Montblanc Emblem, as follows: Top Notes: Grapefruit, Clary Sage, Cardamom Middle Notes: Violet Leaves, Cinnamon Base Notes: Woody Notes, Tonka Beans Based on my experience, Voyage Brown is suited for fall, winter, and (maybe) spring and summer. I sprayed this four times on my neck (two each on my left and right), and I have received a good performance from 8-12 hours, and sillage lasts about 6-7 hours for more than an arm's length. I can see myself wearing this EDP in a casual, office, date-night, but definitely not in sports/gym settings. Both day and night are suitable with this fragrance. Personally, Voyage Brown is a good buy, but you can opt for Futura La Homme Intense which is slightly cheaper if you're ordering it from the U.S. Nicely done by Armaf. Edit: Armaf Voyage Brown should fall under the Aromatic Spicy group, which the group has already included Futura La Homme Intense and Montblanc Emblem.

So this one starts off kinda sharp, but smooth at the same time, like it’s trying to make a good first impression. You get a bit of grapefruit up front, but it’s not that sour, in your face citrus. Then there’s some iris and cardamom that give it this soft, slightly spicy vibe, and a little sage to keep things grounded. After a few minutes, it starts to warm up. The cinnamon and lavender kick in, and the violet leaf keeps it smelling clean and fresh. It’s got this modern, slightly classy thing going on, like you’re the guy who can pull off business casual without looking like you’re going to a job interview. The dry down’s where it really shines, tonka bean and woods make it smooth and a little creamy. It just smells... put together. Chill but polished. You can wear it to work, out to dinner, whatever. It’s that “I care about how I smell, but I’m not trying too hard” kind of fragrance.

One of my favorites and among my top 3 easiest to wear out of my entire collection of 45 bottles. Can easily wear it in any season or any time of day. Projection is decent and it lasts about 8 hours before it begins to fade into a very light coffee and amber smell to me even though the notes aren't listed.

I've purched it in 2016. sometimes it burn the nose if I use it in heat and humid. But if there is a good wind coming all the day long, then it works good. Long lasting and good projection performance also there.
