Cafe Fiesta

I received a sample of this a few months back from someone I purchased a bottle from. And I’m finally testing it today. My first initial thought when I first sprayed it was “whooooa! This is a good start!” That sweet and juicy pineapple in the opening is so nice. It’s airy and juicy. And somehow the perfumer has paired pineapple extremely well with a coffee note. It doesn’t seem like this combo would work together but I swear... in this fragrance, It’s like these two notes were made for each other. And the more it dries down and warms up in my skin.. it gets even better. I haven’t been blown away by a tropical fragrance like this in quite some time! I’m already obsessed with this scent. I will absolutely be purchasing a full bottle. It’s completely unisex imo. If you get a chance, get your nose on this one! That coffee note really makes it unique compared to many other tropical frags.

Wow, "thick and veiny" couldn't be a bigger hater... Don't take his so called review seriously. Cafe Fiesta is a gorgeous fragrance. Pineapple, coffee, vanilla and a hint of rose. If that sounds intriguing you'll almost certainly love it. I'm not even a coffee drinker, but the smell is incredible. I've tried about 3 of his other fragrances. This is my favorite.

This is positivity in a bottle. The notes may look disparate but blend beautifully in my opinion. It reminds me of my California youth, trips to the beach and the local coffee house. It also packs a punch and lasts all day. A small house destined for great things.

Unique scent as with most thus house, longevity amd performance are well above average. If you enjoy niche perfumery this is a must try

Aromas de Salazar Café Fiesta is a very interesting blend featuring pineapple, coffee, rose, vanilla, and woods, a bit sweet/spicy/fresh with coffee, but not coffee-dominant, a little similar to Café Oud (and the discontinued Café Oud Intense) in that respect, but a fiesta indeed. Its mix of florals, citruses, and sweets conjures a bit of an dessert/fruit tray at a party, with coffee and flowers in the background. It creates a relaxed, familiar, inviting environment. I’d say it’s mostly a gourmand while not being fully one, either. Quite unique, high-performing, and pleasant, while being provocative in some ways, also. Café Fiesta is among the more modestly priced fragrances in the catalogue, at $100 for 50ml, very reasonable given its strong and unique qualities. 7 out of 10

Opens pineapple but not the hairspray sort, thankfully. Can also smell lots of airy/fizzy hedione, which is not ideal from my perspective. A hint of coffee, but definitely not a prominent note. Experience has conditioned me to expect hairspray when I see pineapple as a note, but thankfully that is not the case here. Overall a nice enough scent, but very much not to my taste.

This is a weird one for me. The coffee smells really nice, but the pineapple is clashing against it the whole time without blending. It’s really strange and I don’t really like it. Appreciate the effort though. DO NOT BLIND BUY.

This "concoction" is absolute trash. I had the unlucky "pleasure" of trying this, and it is a complete mess, not wearable at all, and completely horrible. I wish i could say that the use of pineapple and coffee was something unique and therefore something people should try, but its not something anyone should try. There is a reason why nobody else makes a pineapple coffee fragrance. This literally smells like a cats litter box. How this guy thinks to himself "u know what, this smells good, let me package this up to sell it" is beyond me. On top of that, this guy has literally no training whatsoever and literally just throws stuff together having no knowledge of notes or research done. No training to see what may be hazardous for you to put on your skin. No knowledge of the many additives and fixatives used to stabilize a perfume or what levels those should be done at. he literally "creates" a fragrance in less than a week or two and then pushes it out to everyone in the fragcomm groups, with no testing being done and no R&D. No time to allow the perfume to macerate and mature and develop to see what it truly does. I have tried MANY of his "creations" and they ALL are sour trash and i would personally advise to not put any of them on your skin. He has made MANY "live" videos of him making "perfumes", essentially him just mixing a bunch of stuff on a whim, going on record stating "i have no idea what i am doing...." Not a single one of these "Aromas de Salazar" are wearable, and you should really save your hard earned money and just hit up the fragrance shelf at your local Ross or Marshalls... you will do much better there. They all smell sour or putrid, or like cat piss, or a litter box.... or quite simply will have you saying "omggg... wtf is thatttttt ::puke face::" How he was able to get his "brand" on this website, as a "bedroom perfumer playing mad scientist" is beyond me. I have nothing against someone starting out and deciding that creating perfumes is what they want to do for a living and to make something of it... everyone starts somewhere. But he has got to go back to the drawing board and actually do some research and see what is what, every aspect of perfumery. Take Aaron Terence Hughes for example... he actually started out doing the same thing, building his own brand from scratch, starting from a dream to create perfumes. He learned, he developed, he studied... and only got his stuff on this website not too long ago either. Salazar starts mixing fragrance oils less than a year ago, having no knowledge of anything he is doing... not knowing what is safe, legal, or compliant, pours his concoctions in a decant bottle, slaps a label on it, and now he is listed on fragrantica for the world to see, and think this is something GOOD and that they need to try?!?!?! People will be in a rude awakening unfortunately.

I received this fragrance in 2022. I’m not the one who really gives many reviews. When it comes to small niche houses I must do it for this one. I really respect what Michael has done with perfecting his craft when it comes to fragrances. Cafe fiesta is something out of this world when it comes to pineapple fragrances. Many will think how on earth could pineapple with notes of coffee be that good? Well honestly I don’t know how it was done but it was done beautifully! You get this sweet thick syrupy pineapple, not off putting at all, but def a strong prominent pineapple! Then it soothes out into this robust coffee note, again not overpowering, but just blended beautifully! Def gives you summer vibes and you will stand out far more than the next guy wearing aventus! 10/10!

Cafe Fiesto opens very fruity and juicy. It's sweety fruity. The mixture of pineapple and mandarin adds extra sweetness to the top note. And it really gives me a tropical vibe. The pineapple in this fragrance is very dominant and is the main component in the structure of the fragrance. After a few minutes of the juicy fruity top note, the woody and gourmand notes appear. The rose note is very minimal and in the background. Unlike the previous comment, I always enjoy the creativity in notes, and always look for such unusual notes and accords. But the notes in this fragrance are not well-blended together in my opinion. 7/10

My word, this Salazar sure has zero skill with building top notes. This opens with this this shriek of pineapple aromachems (Pharaone? Amyl Allyl Glycolate? Cyclogalbanate?) that soon smells like epoxy resin and glue. Then there's a coffee muscling its way into the mix? Why on Earth does this fella think that pineapple and coffee would go well together? Think of a mixologist. Have you ever heard of a Pineapple Espresso Martini? How about Starbucks—no Pina Colata Latte has ever existed. There's a reason for that. This is all too unfortunate.

Ahhhh cafe fiesta...another banger from the brand using the dominant notes coffee and pineapple..yyess i said it, sounds difficult to believe right!!??? but its a good mix..you get freshness and bold espresso in the base...
