Pineapple Sunset

The pineapple opening is not on the fresh side, it is more like grilled pineapple, Followed by combination of floral abosutes; white flower, yellow flower and rose. You can smell the quality of the ingredients. Pinapple sunset leans toward vintage side. Fairly unisex and strong performance.

Blast of pineapple and ozone (maybe even fennel) to open. Quickly sweetens and warms with its resins, amber and tobacco, but still stays quite fruity and floral for the first few hours. After about 4ish hours the individual notes blend together into a bright, floral, and sweet amber, not at all syrupy however. That bright opening makes me think of the green flash of a sunset, the last bright moment of the sun before it falls behind the horizon. After that flash, the sky remains warmly colorful for a while longer before it turns from dusk to night. Much like how this perfume seems to have three stages, the bright opening, the fruity-colorful middle, then it settles into a nice warm summer’s night. Of what I’ve tried from this house, I’d find this to be the most conventional I’ve tried so far. Which is not a negative, by any means. However I rarely wear conventional or designer fragrances so my perceptions may be skewed. Certainly worth getting your nose on. Sunset Pineapple has a sibling perfume in Sunrise Pineapple, I enjoy both quite a bit. Where Sunrise leans into the freshness of pineapple, Sunset leans into the juicy richness of pineapple. Would love to get bottles of these eventually.
