GRAND CUVÉE

I’m completely in love! Vacation Grand Cuvée is officially my signature scent. The moment I spray it, I’m transported to a luxury resort after a perfect day at the beach. It’s giving a clean girl aesthetic, sexy, expensive and effortless. I feel like the it girl when I put it on; fresh, glowing, and unforgettable. The scent reminds me of the vibes I get when wearing Jo Malone Beach Blossom and Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche, but Grand Cuvée feels more refined and elevated. My husband can’t stop complimenting me when I wear it. He’s obsessed with it too. 🤭 I usually wear it solo, but it layers well with Jo Malone Beach Blossom, Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche, and Montblanc Signature. Honestly, I want to hoard bottles since it’s limited edition. I just pray they release a body wash, lotion, sunscreen, candle... even a laundry detergent. It’s that good to me. Longevity: Moderate (4–6 hours on skin) & All day on clothes. Sillage: Soft, intimate, but noticeable Best for: Spring/Summer, beach clubs, resort getaways, everyday luxury. However, I do believe this can be worn all year round.

Love this is and confused why the general consensus so far is that this leans feminine. To me, it reads very androgynous, but a touch on the masculine side. Granted, I’m a man who’s very into amber scents so I’m definitely biased. I have the perfume mist (body spray) and the EDT, no difference in scent to me. The only change I notice over time is it definitely turns more clean-musk/skin scented. I layer most fragrances over unscented lotion,JHAG Not a Perfume-Superdose, and occasionally the musk body spray from BBW, and maybe that’s what is truly sticking around (Superdose for SURE sticks around) but I do feel like I get that lotion-y body care smell from this, especially when it’s on my clothes too. Woke up this morning and still smelled it on me, and it’s a very pleasant lingering scent.

I love this scent; it's a little hard to describe, but I'll try: musky, warm, nutty. Reminiscent of sandalwood. The vanilla is not gourmand. There is not a noticeable grape smell at all; hints of fruitiness but more like a subtle raspberry. Reminds me more of a hair product than body oil, but I don't own the Vacation Chardonnay Oil, so perhaps that's why. If you like the smell of argan oil hair products, you'll probably like this. I thought it would be my least favorite of the Vacation bunch, but I ended up liking it he most! They're all good, nice trio of different scents. They layer well. PS. This note pyramid is missing "sunwashed sails" as part of the composition; there IS a slight hint of a fabric smell!

First Impression: She's a beautifully warm, sweet, and slightly spicy fragrance—perfect for spring, summer, and dare I say fall. She opens with this sparkling champagne note that adds a touch of aldehydic brightness. There's a soft gourmand feel from vanilla bean, balanced by a juicy, sweet peach (not at all musty). There's this cozy blend of powdery musk and resinous amber giving her a skin-like warmth, while subtle cognac and woody undertones add richness and depth. She's comforting, and effortlessly pretty. Very impressed by this fragrance. She's not a beast, pretty moderate on my skin, but I also didn't go ham first wear, lol. Just simply fragrance, no scented lotions.

Funny, I don't really like the original "Vacation" scent by this brand, nor do I like "After Sun" either; however, I am in love with GRAND CUVÉE Arquiste and I don't know why! It's unique to me, and hard to describe. I get the champagne note, and slight peach smell, but neither of those notes are any that I am drawn to, so that's different... I really love the first initial smell, right out of the bottle -- it's addicting! I am reaching for this daily (June 2025)! I did purchase it on sale buy one get one 50% off (Ulta), which I am glad about because I do think it is pricey. Obviously not to pricey for me to buy two bottles of it! LOL! I do love it!

This one is so hard to describe! I don't have anything in my collection like it, really. Being an 80's baby, for me, it's kind of the smell of my older sisters in another room getting ready for a party in the summer. They've been out tanning that day, just applied an amber-y perfume, and have sprayed their hair within an inch of its life. I know this sounds like a loud perfume, but it's truly not - it's a whisper and it smells so good to me. I get the amber and the champagne which is sort of effervescent and a kind of skin smell. So hard to pin down, but it's very pretty. Probably not a safe blind buy but I've worn it every day since I got it.

This scent off the hop is really clean and almost soapy, appealing opening, then the dry down is like a cozy and sweet incense, which may be the argan, but I absolutely adore it. There is a sparkling peach upbeat feel to this scent. I get a refined yachtsman vibe in the opening and just wish the longevity was a tad better. But I will empty this bottle and then replace it, I love him and I want to rest my face in the crook of his Lacoste shirt covered torso even if the knotted sweater sleeves slung casually over his shoulders is tickling me from flapping in the boat wind.

Vanilla with musky cashmere and amber. A very wearable vanilla that's not too sweet and doesn't smell edible. If you remember the various "cashmere" scents from Bath and Body Works (snowflakes and cashmere etc) this fragrance has similar notes. It's warm and cozy with a hint of freshness. I reach for it constantly, as it's well suited for any occasion - office, weekend, day, or night. I stop noticing the scent after a while, but it lasts very well for an EDT. I had someone compliment this fragrance at least 10 hours after I sprayed it!

This was a true Ratatouille style transport back in time for me- straight to the 80’s when I was little and my fashionista young grandma tooled around in a Volvo with leather seats. Was it her perfume? Hand cream? Hairspray plus leather plus carefree gum? I don’t know, but whatever it is, this is magic for me. And I feel like stocking up just in case it’s ever discontinued. I love it and it’s absolutely pitch perfect 80s good times for this elder millennial.

I am a gourmand girl but I wanted a night time smoky summer perfume. This perfume smells like a boozy night on the beach by a bonfire and going on a night out on a yacht. There’s a light sweetness added by the peach to take the edge off a little. Overall it’s a smoky, spicy, boozy vanilla with a subtle sweet and fresh twist. It’s a beachy and warm scent that makes me feel like I smell expensive! I totally recommend it.

I think this is what Moroccanoil was trying to be with their perfume. I went to smell the Moroccanoil fragrance and it fell flat, stumbled upon this at Ulta last month, was not even on socials yet and it surprised me, I don’t really get champagne specifically, but get the direction it was going. Again, smells like delicious argan!

True to its imagining, it’s akin to the type of products a resort would carry. Has that “I’m not wearing anything, I just got out of the shower” type vibe. As you greet your date on the hotel’s rooftop restaurant, hair still damp. I bought the body spray on sale online, sprayed it and immediately ran back to buy the EDT.

One of my top 5 favorite scents I own. I have two bottles of it. I cannot get enough. It is warm and ambery, yet light for summer, and it wears beautifully throughout the day. This is not a fragrance for a chick with a sugar daddy who has a yacht....this smells like a baddie who is the president of the whole yacht club.

This smells like I’m in the middle of shampooing my hair aboard a yacht at sea. I can practically smell the lather and foamy bubbles in my hair when I wear this. It is a great value, one of the best I’ve encountered, even at full price—although I think it is not too hard to find it at a small discount.

Might I say the best Vacation perfume yet! Smells like a classier, more layered version of the Moroccan oil shampoo and feels like a luxurious glam hotel on the coast. Not too sweet, not too sultry, very warm, and has great elements of both feminine and masculine. Def recommend!!

Started out with the body mist, ended up buying the perfume. This is such a lovely deep, luxurious yet skin like scent. I definitely get the argan and the amber but there’s some type of creaminess and I get a hint of floral. This is something I’ll wear all year round.

I really like this. Definitely smells like Moroccan oil, but with more nuance. I'm surprised by how long lasting it is and it projects fairly well. I think it's a very nice option for a sensual daytime summer scent. Smells like a lazy hot summer day at the yacht club.

This is what I expected of the Moroccanoil perfume. Amber and argan are the stars here. Warm, aromatic and clean. Love her

Review incoming <3: Wow, this fragrance is so interesting. the smell itself makes me feel as if I’ve been bathed in the sun, there’s still some salt on my skin from the ocean and my curls are in perfect form as they tend to post-salt water swim. This smells like feeling the slightest sunburn on your shoulders but not minding it, because you had a really good beach day today. This smells like a beach day with family and coming home, showering and having a nice family meal on the balcony- a fond childhood memory of mine :). This opens up bright with the champagne with a hint of vanilla swirling around in it, but the vanilla disappears briefly for that cork to really shine through. I wouldn’t say I get peach right now upon the initial minutes of spraying this on my skin. I can detect trace amounts of vanilla if I really search for it, I take it back- she hasn’t left us (yet?). The argan is peaking through, and I can understand why this reminds people of the new Moroccan Oil perfume- but don’t think this is a dupe of any sort. Maybe if you took MO to the beach and you added the sea breeze and some sand to it. The notes are missing sunkissed sails (or linen? I can’t remember) in the middle and while it sounds confusing, yeah... it’s there. It’s like you’re smelling the texture of the threads woven together. God I don’t think that makes sense but I sure hope it does. Wear testing her right now. I wish she projected a TAD more but what can you expect with an EDT :’).

The most masculine of the Vacation scents, but I don't personally agree with the "cologne-y" comments. Everyone's nose is different, though, and the woody-cognac combination is probably reminiscent of a lot of standard men's fragrances so if those notes lean heavily masculine to you, be warned. All this being said--I have pretty "girly" taste in fragrance and I still really like this. I always layer it with a sweeter lotion to amplify the peach/vanilla notes and I find that on me it doesn't smell like a traditional cologne at all. I find it, dare I say, sexy? Makes me feel like I'm going to a nice, but not too fancy, beach/yacht club party. Maybe that's just the marketing infecting my brain, though. One last note--I don't think this smells much like their Chardonnay oil at all. The connection is there, but it is way vaguer than the connection between their classic sunscreen scent and their Vacation perfume scent. Gives the illusion of class in a way I find charmingly campy. Maybe I'm just a Vacation die-hard. The odds of you getting a deal on this at Ulta are pretty good--you might as well!

The vanilla is a revelation – airy, not cloying, and authentically reminiscent of the raw vanilla bean, avoiding any hint of artificial sweetness. It's clear a master perfumer lent their expertise to this lineup.

Wore this everyday of summer 2025 so it just reminds me of post-grad, pre-employment days— waking up early to go on a walk, eating loads of fruit, and going with my sister to my best friend's grandma's pool every other day. I bought this while I was reading Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit by Jeanette Winterson (also my favorite read of the entire year) so I associate the two very heavily, despite there not being a citrus presence in the perfume. Overall the scent is so summery, reminds me of August in a motel at Ventura beach. I don't think there's a sunscreen note in this but because I mostly wore it in combination with sunscreen it always manifests in my perception of it. Also, I bought the body spray for only twenty bucks at Ulta (with a gift card) + got the EDP as a gift so that is a plus.

This is so beautiful and elegant. I don’t really get the fruity or champagne notes. It’s warm, elegant, skin-like, and has a cosmetic powdery note, like Coty airspun powder. This reminds me a lot of Golden Hour by Poesie and both remind me of the smells of my mom getting ready to go out in the evening when I was a child. This is the standout of Vacation’s perfumes for me. While I really admire the way all of their fragrances capture a memory/a place/a moment, the others are too tropical, too specific and on the nose, for my tastes. This one is gorgeous and I think has mass appeal and transcends the summer/vacation DNA of the brand while still fitting in perfectly. I think it would be just as beautiful on a winter evening as it would be on a summer day.

Got this for 1/2 off on the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty sale. I had smelled it instore a few months back and remember liking it more than the Vacation scent (couldn't get past the plastic note). This smells like a luxury spa. First spray was a little masculine, but it smoothes out to a soft argan-shea smell. I agree with previous reviewers who compare it to Moroccainoil.

I do like this but I cannot seem to distinguish a single note from this. My review will mostly be about what the fragrance evokes, than what it smells like. I do get summer vibes and even hot days in the Fall vibes. It's sort of masculine leaning and I really enjoy that. This gives booze on a hot summer night.

to me, this smells like fancy hotel shampoo, and although i haven’t smelled them next to each other yet, it smells just like the moroccan oil fragrance. i think the 2 would pair well together. it smells light and warm and cozy.

At first it smelled like lysol but after a few minutes it smells very familiar. If you like Kayali Musk, you will like this, it's pretty similar. I enjoy both however if you have one you probably don't need the other.

it really does smell like moroccan oil scent (the products), but less sweet and more soapy for me. It smells like someone bathed with a bar soap but in a good way, nothing screechy. It's very pleasant.

Absolutely loved it at first, now the dry down smells like paint water to me. maybe need to wait until summer to wear again.

I smelled this at Ulta yesterday and it's really nice. The other two vacation fragrances really don't move me at all but there's something about this that's warm, inviting, and truly unisex. I pick up on all of the boozy notes but it doesn't feel too heavy at all, nor do I smell grapes. Now Istanbul by Unique'e Luxury does give Smuckers in hot weather 😆 but the fruitiness in Grand Cuvée is not overwhelming. Plus it's currently 20% off on the Vacation site right now! My friend sprayed this one, and I couldn’t get enough at first, I loved it so much I immediately bought a bottle. But once I wore it myself, I ended up returning it because it made me smell like a rich Miami grandma. I get notes of vanilla, champagne, argan, and cedar. It’s luxurious, but ultimately just not for me.

FINALLY they uploaded Grand Cuvee!! I wanted to love this since I love all the other Vacation perfumes but there is an awful musty, sour note in here - I think it's the champagne cork :( I really don't think it's my skin either as it smells that way on paper too. For some reason this perfume invokes images of an old musty boat that's been beat to hell. It's not a great mental image. If that musty sour note wasn't in there, I wouldn't mind it as beyond that it just smells like a typical amber vanilla with an argan twist. Even without the champagne cork note though, I don't know that I'd repurchase this. It's really nothing to write home about and is missing a lot of the gimmicky charm that Vacation and After Sun have. I will use it up but definitely get your nose on this before buying. I regret the blind buy! Longevity and sileage are about what you'd expect from an EDT. Weak to moderate. Overall, I'd give it a 4/10

I'm in the minority here, but this is a huge nope for me. Starts off smelling identical to my husband's Dove sport deodorant, then has a baby powder-like dry down. Those are two things I personally don't want to smell like, but it's certainly a fresh, clean and nostalgic scent.

Wow, this is much prettier better version of the Morrocanoil hair oil perfume than the morrocanoil brand itself. I didn’t like Moroccan oil perfume at all. It was complete messy fail. But Grand Cuvée smells so smooth and exactly like the scent I remember from the moroccanoil body butter. Shame on morrocanoil for not being able to that from the beginning creating their perfume. It’s smooth, powdery, pretty. I get Musk, Amber, some Powdery Vanilla, smooth Argan oil note. Some people call it cologne like I don’t know if I agree with that, and would be okay with this fragrance on a guy, I feel like this is leaning more feminine powdery scent. Also I wouldn’t call it clean either. The Amber argan oil and vanilla with some musk makes it quite dense to call it clean. I also get slight resemblance with Dior New Look 1947 ( older yellow floral version ) minus yellow florals. I also see the comparison to Kayali Musk 12 but I find Grand Cuvée slightly stronger in the scent. But it’s definitely worth a try if you have been on a hunt for Musk 12. Prada Kiss is also along the similar fragrances.

Grand Cuvée is easily my favorite of the Vacation collection. It’s evokes the feeling of being on a wood deck of a yacht during golden hour, glass of wine in hand and sun warming your skin. I experience the listed notes but it is incredibly well-blended: a bit of fruit, a bit of booze, a bit of amber and vanilla. It’s my only fragrance with Argan note and I’m a huge fan. The Moroccan oil fragrance never quite worked for me but this one is great - t’s creamy and warm yet somehow perfect for summer (it’s a year-round pick) *full disclosure, the brand gifted this to me but I already had it in my Ulta cart to buy at the next sale. I don’t post reviews of fragrances I wouldn’t purchase.

i tested the body spray in store and was very impressed. it was like an ambery skin scent with something so obviously summery about it but hard to describe. i had my bf smell the tester and he said it smelled like sweat but in a good way. i totally agreed, like an oiled up sexy man or woman who had been laying in the sun. beautiful. i bought the edt thinking i was gonna get the same effect, unfortunately i dont like it as much. its more strong ill give it that but also more powdery. smells like shaving cream, also smells like the moroccan oil perfume which i didnt care for.

I first smelled this perfume on a trip to Vegas back in June and instantly fell in love. I was mesmerized by the scent and kept going back to sniff my wrist. It was an instant purchase at Ulta. The first night I wore it I was getting ready inside my hotel room wearing a fluffy robe, while listening to Paul Hardcastle. In that moment I felt like a grown, sexy woman (I am). It’s sexy, addicting, warm, and such a gem. I hope it’s not a limited edition item because I’m obsessed! I already bought a backup from a seller on Mercari for almost half the original price.

When I was little I would spray Pledge in the air when cleaning furniture and run under it so I could smell it in my hair later. This gives me the same vibe and nostalgia. Woody and clean with an almosy oily-richness. Slightly sweet, but not in a sticky gourmand way. I love love love it. I have a soft spot in my heart for this brand’s fragrances as I grew up in Y2K-era Miami and I feel nothing better captures all the kitsch and glamour, but this one is the best of the line by far.

I need to retry this because all I could smell was a very aromatic bug repellent, like an oil you would take with you while camping. When I read the notes I was shocked. Vanilla, where? Peach, where? Champagne even?!? Apparently this smells like Moroccanoil L’Originale, which I own and enjoy (terrible longevity though, which makes it hard to recommend at that price point). Like I said, I need to retry this one because if it indeed does smell like L’Originale I would consider it.

i don't know how else i can describe it other than that it smells like two lovers wearing bathrobes, drinking champagne in a luxurious hotel. they just got out of the shower and their skin is still warm, hair still damp. it's sexy, soft, lethargic. feels intimate and complex, but very wearable. the chardonnay note glimmers nicely above the depth from the cedarwood. i'm obsessed.

Smells like you just got back to your fancy hotel from the beach, washed your hair with the hotel toiletries, and you're putting on a crisp dress to go to dinner. Summery and warm without having a sunscreeny note- a rare find these days! Smells like body oil and toiletries and I love it.

Without looking at the notes I initially got an earthy, waxy, suede-like, toasted vanilla & tonka scent with sandalwood, dried potpourri, & baby powder musk now looking at the notes - i totally smell the Argan Moroccan oil Not bad, very cozy smelling, not sure how often I would wear this

I went on a "smelling spree" at ULTA the other day... and... GRAND CUVEE by VACATION is the "best" thing I smelled! For ME it is warm, a "little" sweet, quite sophisticated, and... like "MY SKIN BUT BETTER"! Just... "DIVINE." This review is for the MIST spray, not the EDT.

They finally added it to the database. The notes are off though - FYI. This is woody and somewhat sweet grape scent. Yes, it does smell like wine corks and sunny day. It’s a nice change from the regular Vacation line. It is different. Worth a sniff. I got a bottle.

Certified Morrocanoil scent lover. This does give off that. But I think the best smell that is the most accurate scent of the hair products is Le Male, then the Morrocanoil mist. This is has that strong niche musk that all niche musks have

Fantastic! Such a great summer scent! I am so in love with this one. Not your usual coconut but a bright sparkly vanilla peach champagne scent. I love this! The best Arquiste is one of my favorite houses all their offerings are phenomenal

This smells like argan oil for your hair, and I don’t hate it. It has that warmth that screams “summer”, something that is missing from the original Vacation and After Sun scents to me, which feel a lot more cold and herbal.
