Bay Citrus

A nice aromatic summertime eau de toilette, with a lot of class, far away from crowd's fragrances (diesel, PR invictus, and all that kind of perfumes...). Subtle, soft, dedicated to gentlemen. Une eau de bon goût.

A mellow, sweet and smooth fragrance. Unique, as far as I can tell. I can detect a honey note in there. No problems with longevity or silage. Very, very nice scent. 8/10

Recently tried this and unfortunately was in a hurry to leave the shop. Went back after sniffing my hand every two minutes for the rest of that day and was sold out. I'm now left regretting that I did not buy this for the great price I saw it at. There's a lesson to be learnt here, I'm sure. :) To describe my intoxicating addictive hand sniffing experience with this, would go pretty much as follows. First comes the citrus which is well balanced, it's slightly punchy not overly sharp but rather sweet, notes of lavender and mint seem to keep the citrus in check. It lasts quite a long time but as it dries down the notes of patchouli, nutmeg and vetiver become more evident creating this very much intoxicating adictive scent that is really hard to describe further. This is surprisingly a very good scent, not something I would of expected from such a small and relatively unknown perfumery. I have not tried Arran Aromatics other offerings but if they are anything like this then one is really in for a treat. This is on top of my wish list and I strongly urge anyone to try it.

Bay Citrus is one of my favourite fragrances,can usually be bought quite inexpensively from dept.stores in the toiletries section. The initail top notes are a blast of citrus which warms to a subtle woody base.You can really detect the spicy nutmeg notes which are similar to Cacharel L'Homme. Bay Citrus is very long lasting with good sillage & projection. All Arran Aromatics fragrances are mostly unisex,but Bay Citrus seems more masculine. For a softer slightly sweeter citrus fragrance,try Citrus Shores,also by Arran Aromatics.Which has top notes of mandarin & neroli. There are also a full range of body products,the shower gel is especially good.

It opens with a exotic spicy light and airy fresh burst of citrus, Patchouli and bay leaf. Longevity is about three hours and it stays quite close to you. One that would be good for the Spring and Summer for that out of the shower freshness. It smells lovely but is let down by it's longevity and subtle nature.
