This is a gorgeous summer day in a bottle, but it has enough warmth from the fig to be a decent wear in the Autumn. It’s been rebranded twice: first Velvet Isle and now Glen Rosa. When you first smell this, you get coconut, then the fig envelops you but not too much to be cloying. The green notes lift it so that you get a sweet (but not sickly sweet), sexy blend of honeyed coconut and figs basking in the summer sunshine. It’s my favourite perfume and it was our wedding scent as it was used throughout the hotel where we got married.

Agree with the othr reviews - fantstic value for the price. Yes, I get the coconut note too. Pretty! As it dries down a chocolate note appears - presumably it's vanilla in combination with the fig - and it becomes rather gourmand, but not heavy. I have this on and it's spring now but I'm atually thinking I may enjoy it more in the summer. There's something very fresh and mouthwatering here that I think would be refreshing in the hot weather.

For the price I think this is fantastic - especially if you like the 'gourmand' style fragrances. The packaging is also classy and the overall feel and smell to me seems expensive. It's not too sweet which i liked and had a hit of green but not sharp or grassy.

Nice and very comfortable scent, that is a very-very good price/quality perfume! It's a creamly fig scent with a "like a coconut with a little green note" feeling. Not a sharp green featured. Great for spring time.

I agree this is a light fresh gourmond. I get fig, I get coconut, I get fresh. Feels sweet, modern and light. I wear with Korres fig body milk. Yum.
