Angelique Arrogance

One can say that bottle and name are quite successeful. It's a soft, powdery and citrusy perfume, graceful and joyful, with an 'innocent' twist. It's the ultimate summer AND SEVERE WINTER scent. I mean just imagine yourself wearing an iris perfume and walking in the snow, carrying a bag full of grapefruits in your arms, or imagine yourself sitting in a small spaced kitchen having a vase with iris flowers and a bowl with grapefruits on the table. Grapefruit dominates the composition from beginning to end, so it's a scent for those who like grapefruit. But this grapefruit is dry and becomes softer and softer as the time goes by...the perfume lasts very long. It's natural and good quality perfume for sure. This grapefruit is very natural and not sickening, it's also not sour, it's musky. Some minutes after applying, other notes appear as well, iris with a musky background, then a very gentle walnut. From time to time I'm able to smell other elements too, the dry down is different from the middle and the inicial stage, it's not an linear perfume. It's very nice and unique in my wardrobe. I'd like to swap it for something closer to my style but I appreciate it a lot. IMHO, it's highly unlikely one to dislike this beautiful 'angelic' scent, but bear in mind that it's a perfume in which grapefruit guides the whole compo. ADD DEFINATELY it's a perfume for those who like Hermes, Un Jardin Sur Le Nil. This one is a more intense version of Un Jardin Sur Le Nil, EXACTLY the same interpretation of grapefruit! Un Jardin has a nicer, softer inicial phase, while Angelique's dry down is BY FAR nicer and more feminine.

Wow, citrusy-greenish-powdery, I just love it!!! Hard to find, unique and Italian! Long lasting power! Cheap!Suitable for sexy men, too! I think it won't be my first and last buy, I will continue to make friends with IT!

First of all, this fragrance could be unisex as I see it on a man, too. It opens with sweet fruity notes which are smothered up with the dryness of walnuts and bitter lemon peels, making it similar to some men's cologne. The base is woody aquatic on my skin. If you're into aquatic scents, try it. The fruity top notes, which are quite sweet, disappear very fast.

It opens with a very sharp and powdery scent. The heavy powder somehow reminds me of an old-school style perfume. It's not sweet at all, but rather a really sourish, powdery scent that is long-lasting. I blind bought it and tried it for a while, but I can't wear it. If someone is interested, I can share.
