What a unique hidden gem! This was an instant love for me and feels like the perfect floral gourmand. To my nose, it opens as creamy vanilla-almond milk with a soft dash of cinnamon. The rose and jasmine keep it from becoming a full-on lactonic gourmand, while the ambergris adds a touch of mystery and seriousness, balancing the sweetness out with precision. There is also something a little nostalgic about it, like a calming sweetness from childhood that I can’t quite place. Altogether, this blend creates a sweet, comforting, unapologetically feminine aromatic gourmand. I wish I could give a clear reference point, but part of what makes this so special is how unique it feels. I genuinely have not smelled anything quite like it. That said, this gives me what I wanted from Amouage Love Delight’s almondy-floral-gourmand promises, which ultimately fell short for me.

Soft slightly sweet spicy floral with aromatic touches. The scent opens with notes of coriander, cinnamon and almond and goes to heart of mostly rose and slight jasmine. It settles into a base of slight ambergris, synthetic musk, vanilla and tonka beans. A bit dessert like and too soft to leave a major impact but it makes for unobstrusive pleasant wear. Enjoy!

Not a blind-buy, it does not appeal to everyone. The quality/price ratio is good if you buy it for under €100. Keep in mind that all Arte Profumi can be sold for around €130 second-hand (new). It opens with a realistic coriander (ground, i.e. powdered) that slowly fades and then blends with ambergris and rose. The whole is immersed in an intense vanilla.

I thought it would be a violet scent due to the bottle (and the sales associate that said violet) but I smelled a very sweet, not really dessert-like rose, but something more natural yet still sweet. Pretty beautiful
