Calar del Sole

Finally I had the chance to try this one. It has some similarities with BR 540 but in the top notes lemon, and in the heart notes cakey vanilla is amped up, so it has also clear similarities with Casamorati Lira. I can safely tell that it’s a perfect mix of Lira, Trajan and BR 540 and I think I prefer this to all of them. Extremely mass appealing, well blended and smooth perfume. I’m surprised to see those YouTubers are not hyping it and even Fragrantica’s comment section is almost empty. Longevity and sillage are great, I think on par with BR 540 edp and Trajan. If you like Lira, Trajan, BR 540, I urge you to try this one! My score: 8.5/10

Oh wow, I love it! Smells very cozy & comforting. To me this is a mix of Lira and BR540, it has the airy quality of BR that envelopes you like a cloud. I feel like this is the perfect winter holiday scent. I imagine myself walking through the christmas market drinking hot wine, enveloped by this cozy deliciousness. 10/10.

I absolutely love it, its comforting and smells expensive. I personally dont see the resemblance to BR, but its been a while since i smelled it. 9.5/10

Calar Del Sole was launched in 2021 and, as its name implies, portrays the concept of the sunset seen along the Amalfi Coast. Its fragrance is citrusy-amber and carries notes of lemon and bergamot, followed by amber, jasmine, and orange blossom, on a creamy base of vanilla, musk, and cashmere wood. On the skin, Calar Del Sole balances freshness and comfort in a very unique way. This combination of notes offers a pleasant sensory experience while awakening a sense of vitality and warmth. As soon as sprayed, it has an effect that triggers the taste buds and explodes on the tongue, reinforcing the sour side of citrus fruits. Some olfactory memories arise and I remember the result that Allure Homme Édition Blanche used to bring me, however, after hours on the skin, when its fragrance had already evolved. But while the initial phase of Calar Del Sole appeals to men, the other stages of drying come to conquer women. I could list countless facets of jasmine and amber notes, but the key ingredient in this creation is, without a doubt, the vanilla. We have, then, a sweet and creamy vanilla, which makes me question the Italian interpretation of the golden sky that invades the coast in the last gasps of the sun. Maybe because I'm from a very hot coastal city, like Rio de Janeiro, my idea of sunset doesn't contain gourmand notes. And with regard to performance, Calar Del Sole brings a fragrance that can even become invasive – even though it exudes creaminess –, such potency and sweetness. Don't be fooled by the refreshing opening which is highly persuasive, by the way! In my opinion, Calar Del Sole tends to be much more successful with the female audience, because it has an easier side to be explored by women, considering what already exists on the market. In my case, I must admit that the fragrance pleases me, but it only works when worn on colder weather days, like winter ones. It's like a dessert tasting that starts with a lemon pie, moves on to a panna cotta, and ends with a traditional vanilla Italian gelato.

This is like a very citrus take on Baccarat Rouge 540. Cute but not up my alley.
