Tuberose Vanilla

I absolutely love this. I have many tuberose perfumes, and have tried even more, but every time I spray my bottle, I just inhale so deeply and feel like it’s a bit of Heaven this side of earth. This tuberose is bold, yes, but it feels like a softer gentler tuberose than a lot that is out there. It’s not shrieking or ‘high pitched’ to me. It’s not like the tuberose of the 80’s. (as Seinfeld says, “Not that there’s anything WRONG with that”) haha It’s very creamy to me. More creamy than Love Tuberose! I’ve been wearing a lot of my sample of Love Tuberose because I always think I want a bottle, but can never bring myself to buy it. I don’t think I get all the notes and the loveliness that other people get. THIS is what I thought Love Tuberose would be. I don’t specifically smell the sandalwood, but maybe that’s what is making it creamy. And I can’t specifically smell cedar, but the cedar and sandalwood feel like they contribute to the base notes and make it last. It’s got great sillage and longevity on me. I can still smell it on me the next morning. Or if I put it on early in the morning, I can smell it till very late that night. I mostly get tuberose, vanilla and gardenia. If you love those flowers, please try this! I am sensitive to oud and I get absolutely none here. Not even a hint of it. You know what there’s also none of? None of those annoying aromachemicals that obliterate all the other notes and/or make you feel like an ice pick went up your nose. I bought my samples from Scent Split and then ended up buying my bottle from there too. P.S. Also, this tuberose doesn’t remind me of any other tuberose I’ve bought or tried. And it doesn’t feel green to me at all. Nothing like Angelique Noire or similiar.

How times and preferences change, right? I've recently reignited an interest in large, strong, powerful, white floral fragrances. The "white flower" note has never been a favorite of mine. However, I recently wish to re-explore tuberose (among other) floral-forward fragrances. After blowing through a bottle of Amouage "Love Tuberose," I sought to locate a more affordable tuberose perfume I can liberally wear in lieu of Love Tuberose. I have literally sampled well over one dozen tuberose-centric fragrances to find an affordable perfume that resonates with me the way Love Tuberose does. Silverquick gives a perfect summary review of this fragrance!! I purchased a large decant of Arte Olfatto "Tuberose Vanille" after reading much positive press about the fragrance. So, this is a lovely, easy-to-wear, light & sweet tuberose for the masses...a gentler, younger, thinner and sweeter tuberose certainly than the tuberose in Carnal Flower, Fracas, etc, etc, etc. And IMHO, Tuberose Vanille is a "truer" and more sincere tribute to the tuberose plant versus Givency L'Interdit, Gucci Bloom and the other mass marketed tuberose fragrances. So, Tuberose Vanille is not as creamy as I hoped but a very lovely, feminine, floral, tuberose-focused fragrance. I would say Tuberose Vanille is a very "clean" tuberose fragrance; however it is never crisp. The perfume's opening is discernible white florals with tuberose at its core. Ethereal, ephemeral, dream-like in its development, the perfume quickly morphs into a gentle, pleasing, slightly green, woody-floral tuberose fragrance with a wee-bit of vanilla at its base. I wish the fragrance was a bit thicker and denser, only because that is my preference. Despite not having denseness, the fragrance is really lovely, it is. I find the fragrance is youthful & girly...I can see this actually appealing to women between the ages of 20-30 yrs of age. Not sure Tuberose Vanille is worth the current eBay asking price (shipped from Italy) but overall, Tuberose Vanille is a truly pleasant fragrance.

Very pretty. Sweet opening. I get vanilla with a rising sweet tuberose that softens within an hour and other white florals leaning into gardenia become more clear. Green touches and soft woody aspects back up the fluffy sweetness. Overall has a gauzy cool effect. Very feminine and likeable. Smells like a soft fuzzy pink colour.

Don't listen to the previous commentator, there is NO oud here at all. It is a sweet, bold TUBEROSE scent, that's it. With gardenia added. But how on earth could it be described as "woody"? Sandalwood & cedar are just common base ingredients for the majority of fragrances out there. LOL

Idk what to say about this fragrance ?? I say it is very strong in the beginning and it’s smells very woody with hints of oud. I detect the vanilla in the dry down but tuberose is not powerful. I can say it’s both feminine and masculine. It is mostly for fall and winter.

This is extremely strong and screechy in the opening. Very green, almost like a camphor plastic and woody aroma chemicals combo. Makes me sick and gives me a headache. It takes like 10 minutes for that to die down. Then it becomes a typical tuberose with vanilla and sandalwood. But even that comes off screechy. This is screechier than Estee Lauder Beautiful and that is saying something. I'm getting hairspray vibes here. To strong for me.

It's nice. Very Green, I like it but it's not for me. 😔
