Jasmin Gyokuro

Pillowy, bright, greenish white florals. There is a delicate herbal dryness on the opening. Then it develps into a sweeter white flower bloom. I find that the tuberose is a little more prominent than the jasmine. It never becomes overly sweet, it's perfectly balanced by the clean greener notes in the base. It is along the lines of Elie Saab Le Parfum, except without the sticky-sweet honey. A beautiful light summer scent. The longevity is pretty short on my skin, unfortunately.

I would like to put this into my veins from now until September. Or at the very least bathe in it. An extraordinarily good perfume in its genre. Well worth the long wait to receive it from France.

This is a nice Jasmine-based Soliflore with an understated dignity - very classy with a whispered sensuality. The other flowers sustain the jasmine which is accompanied by a subtil green hue.

Such a beauty! Cant believe not spoken about more. Very well blended white floral mix where each flowers shines trough in the best way but at the same time is so well blended its hard to separete them (if that makes any sence..). Right away I got a beautiful soliflore jasmine with tea note. The bergamot come trough ever slightly and ads just a bit zinginess without taking over. The white floral mix is so beatiful together. Perfect mix of jasmine tuberose tiare and mimosa where the tiare and jasmine slighty takes over if you look for them. The musk and vetiver are there in the background and ads a balanced base. That base is well grounded without taking over the flower scent. I dont know if its the angelica or the vetiver but something ads a small amount of spiciness that is just perfect. Gives the scent a bit of a push to stand out from other white florals. Maybe a tiny bit powdery probably due to the mimosa but not enough to call this a powdery perfume at all. For me this is a must have. Its feminine without being girly. Its sofisticated and high qulity and long lasting. Elegant and confident. Its not a typical white floral bomb that could induce a headaches or remind you of the 80's.. Its more modernized but in the best way. Its not overly sweet like many more modern jasmine perfumes. This is addictive and beautiful and my 2 ml tester is almost gone. Im ordering a full bottle. You do have to love white florals to like this but its special enough and different different enough than other typical white floral perfumes. Higly recommend it and very happy I got to try this wonderful scent. Makes me happy and confident and wanting to smell my wrist all day.

Ah Jasmine Gyokuro, you're a sultry little temptress cloaked in a deceivingly modest smock dress. This is a very clever piece of olfactory art, layered and complex yet shining with simplicity. If I were to be invited to the mad hatter's tea party, this is what I would wear. This is how to pull off being deeply inappropriate under cover of a convincing display of innocence. A sheen of oleaginous white floral floating on the surface of a cup of spiked green tea. An offered bite of crisp pear from a deceitful hand. A cool slap after an invited advance. It is coy and flirtatious and very very naughty indeed. I've worn this fragrance in a number of circumstances and it's never let me down. People will clutch you as you hug them goodbye. They will lean toward you, like a flower raised in the shade seeks sunlight. If you don't want to cause your familiars to gnash their teeth in confusion: skip it. I do want that, so I shan't. I have a number of fragrances that I call my "whorefumes" and Jasmine Gyokuro is the sheer, diaphanous, subtle knife among them. I'm sure it would be wise to advise a light hand when spraying so I will instead caution you to go absolutely mad overspraying and cause as much chaos as possible. Life is short babycakes, be a problem.

Nice green jasmine. Reminds me of a jasmine tea but still a bit too floral and heavy for my liking. After a while it transforms into heady tiare flower and gives me a bit of headache. Follow me on ig: scent.guide
