Al Andaleeb

This is a fascinating fragrance that shifts significantly from start to finish. At first spray, a burst of bright, sun-drenched citrus fills the air — juicy and golden, like sunlight caught in a glass. It evokes a vivid image: citrus fruits shimmering under a blue sky, bathed in gold. Soon after, a floral jasmine note joins in, radiant and graceful. The opening mirrors the colors of the bottle — sky blue, white, and a touch of gold — perfectly. How delightfully fresh and universally likable, I thought. It felt like a fairy twirling in the sky. And yet — this fairy, Andaleeb, seems to know me better than I know myself. She seems aware that I, in truth, am not so fond of “universally likable light scents.” After her airy dance above the clouds, she gazes at me and begins her descent. With her landing, moss begins to spread beneath her feet — earthy notes of vetiver, patchouli, and sandalwood rise gently like damp soil after rain. There is a shift from a citrus-drenched sprite of the skies to a grounded spirit of the earth, calm and serene. Of course, most fragrances follow the typical top-middle-base evolution, but Andaleeb seems to leap quickly and decisively from her bright top and floral middle to her earthy base. It’s not subtle — it’s a clear transformation. To be honest, I purchased this scent as a "safe choice" — something appropriate for public settings, even if it went against my personal taste. And so, the cheerful opening came as expected. But what surprised me — in a good way — was the base. Even in its later phase, the scent doesn't become overpowering. It remains within the realm of “safe” — probably. Barely. And for someone like me — who needs a “safe scent” but doesn’t want one — Andaleeb fulfills both duties gracefully. It checks all the boxes without betraying my sensibilities.

I bought it because of the review here said it is similar to Scandal and i was looking for the dupe of it. I am not sure about the similarity. Bottle is pretty. I have many fragrances from Lattafa, Ard Al Zaafaran, Al-Haramain, Rasasi, Armaf, Afnan, Asdaaf, Al-Rehab, El-Nabeel. I love them because they are affordable, no nonsense, i want my parfum to project and to stay (preferably even after i shower😅). In term of Scent, sillage and longevity, this is way more Western parfum than Mid.East. Scent : is sweet, fruity, flowery. One of Mid.East with NO Aoud, which is safe blind buy for those who don't like aoud. It's good for layering if you need to boost up a sweet flowery fragrance. Sillage : very close to the skin. Doesn't project, doesn't leave a trail& doesn't float around like some others Mid.East. Longevity : a totaly dissapointment for me, within 30min after spray, i need to put my nose on my skin to smell it. I'll let it macerate for few weeks/month, and i'll come back with the edit.

What a nice surprise! This is a great entry-level fragrance for those looking to explore more middle eastern scents. I didn't pick up on the orange notes but the rose and bergamot really intertwine with the base notes to create something really beautiful and unique! I can see this being a signature scent for cool to warm weather, but I'm not sure if it would go sour in hot weather, I did not have the chance to try it on during the summer. There's something about this fragrance that is so comforting and sweet. I immediately thought of "new mom and baby". I haven't smelled Scandal, but I think this would satisfy a wide range of tastes willing to have a slight adventure. Of course, you get the bonus of a gorgeous bottle to put on display! 7/10 thumbs up, -3 thumbs for lack of versatility, depth, and possibly inaccurate note pyramid.

The patchouli is very weak but the Vetiver is blowing the doors off. I love the smell of vetiver and patchouli, but they are not the same. Vetiver has the smell of freshly dried hay, lots of it, stuffed into a barn in August in Texas. What a delicious note that seems to be confusing people greatly. Once you learn to distinquish Vetiver from Patchouli you find so many lovely fragrances that you suddenly enjoy due to your new found scent recognition. That plastic doll head scent that some notice is infact, vetiver. This scent is not for children, it is grown up, gritty and brave. All the while wearing her Chanel ballet slippers and pearls. I do believe the confusion on the scent profile is a result of social media hyping this to teens.

I find this perfume to be really beautiful! I'm really happy that it doesn't have any Apple in the opening notes, and to me the dry down reminds me of marshmallows, sweet but not exactly candy. It's definitely feminine but not too young. Surprisingly I cannot identify any particular floral because everything seems so well blended. If I spray it in the morning I will smell it until the evening, especially in this cold weather. Just spray it under your shirt and over your shirt and you're good to go! The smell will be there the next day~

I had held back on purchasing this fragrance because of the Scandal reference. Don't get me wrong, I love JPG Scandal, I own the original and 2 flankers. I just didn't want to duplicate anything in my collection.. Anyway, rest assured, THIS DOES NOT SMELL LIKE SCANDAL or any of the flankers. It's a beautiful, feminine, floral with a warm sweetness and a tiny hint of fruitiness. It can be worn all season and by any age group. A happy scent. It is also very affordable and the presentation is quite lovely.

A Day 1 L-O-V-E! When sprayed, it starts off sweet. The dry down has a richness that must be the sandalwood and vetiver. I spray my fragrances on my moisturized pulse points and I find it long lasting even after I "can't smell myself". It's not "beast mode" but still packs a punch. The price is easy on the pockets for the fragrance lover. Al Andaleeb Asdaaf is "Back Up Bottle" worthy.

It may not smell exactly like Scandal but daaayyyyummmm, I be smelling Hella good and for long time. It's an easy wearable delicious fruity yummy fragrance leaning feminine for sure. And the person who stated that it smells like vomit in a bottle, may need to start selling her bile then, cuz this does Not smell foul at all.

The Opening is Simultaneously Sweet and Woodsy but you can smell the overpowering vetiver when it Drys down,Apologies to Scandal Lovers but i pick this over that.Will definitely repurchase over and over again. Great for the office but it fades off after about 2-3 hours.

This is one of my favorite perfumes I have and I've recently started into collecting perfumes/colognes. I love the scent, it reminds me of walking through a forest with the scent of delicate florals mixed in. This lasts on me for several hours. I highly recommend this.

Thank Goodness it has nothing to do with Scandal! This is beautiful and feminine and pleasant scent. The bottle is a piece of art. The price is ridiculous for the quality. Winter scent, strong, so be careful with dosing.

Blind bought as a holiday gift for a sister and she just went bonkers for it and reported to be in a heavenly scent bubble today. I still haven't smelled it, didn't have time to visit yet.

I allowed this to macerate...and wow! This is beautiful and a compliment magnet. Long lasting and soft but with decent sillage. Super affordable as well... 10/10

If you like vintage classic mature floral perfumes, this is for you. It reminds me of Jean Patou, Boucheron Fleurs, Risala's Surur, Histoire d'amour by Aubusson, and the older 80s yellow floral perfumes. If you like gourmand, girly, fruity, sweet perfumes, light, clean or fresh perfumes, or perhaps are under 40-45, or hate classic vintage perfumes, this is NOT for you imo, steer away. This is woody, deep, uncompromising yellow floral with some citrus. A hint of vanilla maybe caramel after an hour/an hour or 2. I love that it's blended well. It gives me italian nonna on a sunday after church with a glass of wine, giving out hugs and she is sort of suffocating you with all her love and her perfume, thats sprayed on a little too much. It's a chique and comforting. I love the nostaligic vibes it gives me. Yes it's a tad artificial but i dont it mind so much. I saw somebody comparing to Yara moi, but there is nothing in this that compares to Yara moi, Yara moi has no depth imo and is superficial white floral with screechy wood. This has depth, this has body. It is beast mode, will def last 8 hours, and the projection is very strong, this perfume will enter the room long before the person does... Im 43 and i love this. It matches where i am in life. I love the uncompromising bold mature feminity it gives. The joie de vivre, the zero f*cks left to give, and on the other hand it's intimate and homely as well. Pls do not blind buy, unless you love classic very mature vintage perfumes...a solid 8 or 8.5 out of ten from me.

This does NOT smell like scandal, I get no honey just sweet plastic, unripe oranges, a strange lipstick note and that’s it... I know to let it sit for a few months and come back, but I have her sister (andaleeb flora) and that’s a banger... sweet honey with nice citrus and flowers. It projects right out the box, so I purchased the O.G. to add to my collection and boy was I disappointed. I’ll update in a few months to see it it changes but right now I gotta give this a 5.5/10. Update 1/5/25 Soooooo I’m done with the fragrance, and with age it did get better. It’s giving fruity woody and citrusy, I liked it at the end, the longevity is insane about 8 hours but the scent itself is nothing special, I used it because who is wasting anything in this economy but i won’t be repurchasing. New rating 6.5/10

Yes this does remind me of Scandal but it's not exact. And they are definitely leaving out at least one sweet note on the listed notes above. Anywho, I really like this fragrance! It's sweet but not overly sweet with that vetiver, it really rounds the while fragrance without being too masculine. Saying that, I do think men could wear this if they are into sweeter scents. I'll have to play with it more to go further into the scent trail & bubble. I'll for sure be recommending

A very fresh juicy orange when you spray it, then bergamot comes in with it's flowery green smell with a touch of rose. It dries down to something very soft natural smell. (I do get the dried hay smell from an other comment... it's exactly that). Vetiver comes in and lingers to let the patchouli come in. It's really beautiful... A nice every day perfume. Love it ! And dear L... no it does not smell like cat piss... I have a cat... her piss does not smell this good xD

The jasmine in this fragrance is strong. Its opening is very citrusy and floral, and it doesn’t take long for the jasmine to take centre stage. Then the jasmine eventually mellows out as it is complimented by the sandalwood and patchouli in the dry down. This is a very sweet and feminine fragrance. Not to mention, the bottle is super unique and eye catching. I would consider this a safe blind buy for those who like their white florals.

This is a BEAAAAAUTIFUL scent! It is very underrated but it’s honestly one of the best arab perfumes out there! It’s soft, clean but also powerful in a classy way. It stays on the skin for hours and hours and the price is SO good. I would say that it is a very safe blind-buy.

The more is maccerated, the bether it is. First I don't like it....but now...its really uniqe, for me is not sweet and not JPG at all. Silage and longevity are great.

if you enjoy LVEB or scandal, this is in the same genre (sweet fruity patchouli) but not a straight up clone.

This is a very feminine and beautiful sweet orange-white floral, heavy on jasmine and sharp mandarin/ patchouli in the opening, and rose and sandalwood in the dry down. It has strong projection and great silage but it is not long-lasting. For the few days I have worn and tested this, I have gotten no more than 3 hours of wear on skin and 5 hours on clothing before it can no longer be smelt, which leads me to suspect that the fragrance has either been watered down, or I need to allow my bottle to macerate for a few weeks and retest. I will revise my comments next month after it has sat in the dark for a wee bit.

I've been told that this perfume has polarizing views, even as far as describing like cat piss! But I still bough it because of its gorgeous bottle and price (15USD). At first sniff, it opens as something citrusy and then it dries down to an earthy, moss-like scent which I deduce is coming from the vetiver and patchouli. The first few times using it wasn't really bad but overtime, even after macerating it for a few months, I started to understand why some people don't like it. However, I don't plan to discard it so I just layer it with my other citrus fragrances.

This does not smell like Scandal. I love Scandal but I’m not sold on this one. This smells like an old lady perfume, ESPECIALLY the dry down. Somebody said it smells like marshmallows....?!??!! Idk what kind of marshmallow would smell like this but I would never eat a marshmallow that smelled like this lol. I know everyone picks up on different things but ain’t no way! lol I’ll let this sit for a while and come back to it, but I don’t have high hopes.

All I can smell is honey and melon. Gave it away, the green melon note was nauseating for me. Smells like honeyed white flowers with a drizzle of melon syrup on other people. Nice 2-3 ft projection. Bottle is ta die for, it hurt me to give away such a flacon.

I bought this perfume blind based on the rave reviews. I love fruity, citrus, and floral scents and expected to enjoy this. On me, this reads very sour, but not in a citrusy way. The dry down leans more towards a vintage-like scent, like something you'd smell on a senior citizen. I'm not quite sure if the batch I received is bad, but it's not horribly offensive. It's just not really for me. My husband also thinks it's only OK, that it's a clean scent, but also reminds him of his grandmother. I will let this sit for a while and come back to it to see if maybe it just needs a little time, but I will probably be giving this away otherwise. It is a little headache-inducing for me. -- 1 Week Update: I sprayed this a few times to ensure I got out of any of the stale fragrance in the spritzer and then let the bottle macerate for a week. The sourness has reduced significantly and the scent is now much more tolerable but I still get a little headache. I'm finally getting some of the warmth and a bit of the sweetness. The church granny vibe is still dominant in my mind which I'm assuming is the vetiver. It's still not something I'd be excited to grab, but I plan to reinspect this perfume weekly to see for any other changes. -- Last update: Despite my bottle growing sweeter with time, there is something in this that I am just not a fan of. I've tried my best to enjoy it, I truly have. I hope the next person can give this the love it deserves!

It has NOTHING to do with any of the JPG Scandals !!! Idk how can people on yt confidently say sth like that only cause the bottles look similar, it just shows they have no idea what they're talking about! This is not sweet, it's not heavy, it's floral. I didn't like it so l returned it, after that l've got some samples of Marc Jacobs Perfect and Perfect Intense, this two are quite similar ,but when l tried P.lntenese it instantly reminded me of Al Andaleeb, to me they are 1/1 the same. Also Yara Moi it's kind of similar but l wouldn't call a dupe to Perfect or Perfect intense

I only smell Patchouli, Sandalwood and Vetiver no orange or whatever and iT give me Headache

This was love at first sniff for me! It comes off with a powerful sweet sharp citrus lemon note at first, and then dries down to a beautiful gourmand citrusy fruichouli. I'm also getting a soft vanilla in the dry down that's not listed in the notes here. The weather is cold right now where I'm at but I imagine this will be even better in the warm spring, hot summer weather. I've already discovered that it's lovely layered with lemon pound cake from bath & body works, Soft from Al rehab, or Lira from Xerjoff. I'm really loving playing up the gourmand aspect of this! When it gets warmer weather I will be able to experiment with fresher fruity aspects for layering. Don't sleep on this fragrance! It was only $20 on triple traders and the quality of the stunning heavy glass bottle and embellished metal cap are a 10 out of 10! It's exquisite and display worthy! Also this has zero zilch nada to do with scandal. People assume because of the similarities in the bottle. I have scandal and tried them side by side. They are not even remotely the same.

I like this alot. It's my go to petfume for work when I'm in the office. I have had it a good while and I think its benefitted for some time in a cool dark cupboard. It's citrussy and fresh in the opening and dries down to a musky, woody fragrance. I get a little floral and there's patchouli too which I like. It isn't a dupe for Scandal as other people have said but I do find it very similar to Chloe Nomade which I also have. Nomade is slightly richer I think probably due to the sandalwood giving a touch of creaminess. The performance is very good especially for the price. If you like Chloe Nomade, you will like this. It's extremely pleasant to my nose.

I found the true notes for andaleeb on perfume website: Top: orange, pear, bergamot Middle: white flowers, jasmine, rose Base: caramel, amber, musk and sandalwood The pear, caramel and amber added and absence of patchouli take this perfume in a gourmand direction... I ordered but haven't received it yet... I will know these notes are accurate if I don't detect patchouli! Will update soon : ) Update 1/9/24 : I received andaleeb today, NO patchouli detected. The opening is very unique floral, caramel and a earthy green vetiver... the dry down is resembling Labelle with some added citrus. It is rich and sweet with some earthy depth, so far a love for me!

I bought this based on you tube reviews raving about it. I hate it! I sooooooo wanted to love it. The sweetness is almost sickening to me. To me it smells like White Diamonds with a pound of sugar mixed in. If you can picture that. I don’t smell citrus. I do smell the woodyness though. It’s extremely powdery and I hate to say this but it definitely smells like a grandma perfume to me. And even my grandma didn’t wear anything like this. I’m gonna let it sit a while and cross my fingers but ...ehh. Definitely not a blind buy in my opinion. It gives me a faint headache and a slight nauseous feeling. 😢

This is for fruitchouli and gourmand lovers. If you love La nuit tresor, La vie est belle and even coco mademoiselle, you might love this. It opens up so juicy with the mandarin orange, very sweet and develops into this beautiful almost caramelly fruity woody patchouli. It’s amazing honestly. I saw some saying it’s a dupe for scandal, I have both but don’t find them similar. Keep in mind that it’s sweet but sparkly and well balanced.

I got it last year and wasn’t too impressed with it so it went in the back for a while. This winter after it had time to settle down it’s so much better. It changed and developed so much over time so definitely give it a second chance. Especially the longevity went from 2-3h to 12+ beast mode.

Very nice and almost soapy clean smelling fragrance! It starts off sweet almost fruity candy like but with a soapy twist. Dries down to clean and soapy The dry down kind of reminds me of elie saab girl of now forever. Very good sillage, the price is amazing for what you get!

I am surprised there is no moss in the notes list because it’s very mossy-earthy-herby. Moss and patchouli are all I could smell on me,no sweet no jasmin:( very similar to Leen by Alwataniah 90% same. Not blind buy safe if you dislike strong earthy vibes. Do not like it.

It's citrus, spicey and earthy. It's well blended and unique to me. I believe it can be easily unisex right in the middle. Not for me though but seems like it's strong. I didn't test it on skin though.

If there is a perfume I can consider to be my signature scent it will be this. This is long lasting and smells really nice on me.

Kinda resemble a rotten orange, a bitter orange, plasticky smell. Idk if I should let it macerate

The dry down reminds me a lot of Cartier La Panthere.
