Ameer Al Arab Imperium

For under 20 dollars this is an absolute no brainer. Blind buy safe if you like Y EDT. Take note, this is a clone of Y EDT 2022, not Y EDP. With that in mind, I love this. I prefer the freshness and brighter take of the EDT over the EDP, however, I have not had the best longevity with the EDT. This is where this comes in. If you don't wanna spend money on the EDT or go through your bottle very quickly, then this is a must buy. Honestly, I like this better than I like Y EDT. This has a much brighter and more zesty ginger top note, but is noticeably of that Y DNA. It's wonderful, in my opinion. Was great on the first sprays, although I'm sure it will probably improve slightly after a bit of maceration. But I don't have a single complaint so far. Lasts about as long as the OG on my skin, smells great on clothes. For the price, you're gonna smell great, and if you have any complaints about longevity or performance, don't be afraid to reapply or overspray a bit with the price point. You won't be wasting your money. I think this may have a weak atomizer as well, so overspraying may be a must. After spraying quite a bit in the first week, I've put pretty much no dent in the bottle at all, which leads me to believe the volume per spray is rather weak on this. So once again, do not be afraid to overspray or reapply this. You won't be wasting money.

I got this yesterday for 13$, initial spray where all lattafa fail cause they need time to mature, this one exceeds beyond expectations, fresh, sweet fruits mainly apple with lavender coming thru sitting on a pillowy, soft musk and cashmere. There’s a green note up close that reminds me of invictus aqua but this whole DNA is clearly YSL Y and it’s done so well for the price. YSL Y leans a bit sweeter tho. In the air this smells so insanely good and appealing, first spray on the hand going to bed, couldn’t smell anything but this, wish the longevity was as good as the projection. I usually don’t get compliments by strangers for scents but this pretty cashier instantly complimented and asked what I was wearing. Scent- 8/10 Longevity - 7/10 Projection - 9/10 Scent to value - 10/10 Overall - 8.5/10

The notes say YSL Y, but my nose says Invictus Aqua 2016... "Imperium" and a pale blue bottle... and nobody has made that comparison yet?! Either way, you know you can't lose with either one, so that's a compliment! Anyway, this is it's own scent, and it's really good, but I'm absolutely reminded of Invictus Aqua 2016 and Montblanc Legend Spirit, but this has a different texture than either of them. This one has a warm cotton-y texture to it, versus the rigid or coarse texture of Legend Spirit and the fizzy texture of Invictus Aqua 2016. Very similar to both of them though. I would not agree that this smells like Fakhar or YSL Y.

#26 Review of My Fragrances Collection I just bought it this month, its a cheap fresh, clean, citrus fragrance. Just like YSL Y Edt. The citrus on the opening is nice and the apple notes is really good. I like it becase the musk its not strong so its really fresh citrus clean fragrance but with moderate longevity and projection. I got it preloved at market place for Rp144.000 or its just like 9 Dollar with 90% juice. Its really worth the price. Scent: 8.5/10 Longevity: 6/10 Projection: 6/10 Price Value: 9/10

This is a wonderful rendition of the EDT of YSL Y. Not sure why that would need to be duped since the EDT of YSL Y isn’t to costly on discounters. Nevertheless it’s a great rendition. Longevity is decent and will get the job done for every day wear or for casual wear. It’s a dumb reach. Btw for the person who mentioned L’Homme Ultime it’s not close to it at all. There is a Rasasi one that is and that’s called It’s Essential.

If you like designer perfumes like ysl y you will love this one. This just smells like a 150$ fragrance, its great. Longevitiy is good, sillage is just ok. If you want to smell like ysl y for only 20$ this is your best bet. IMO this is better than lattafa fakhar because its much more natural and non syntethic. PLEASE GATEKEEP!!!

Worth the $15 on Amazon, smells like 99% of the YSL Y EDT. Just got my bottle a couple days ago, gonna let it maturate for a bit. Good gym scent or hot summer day

I feel like this a hidden gem, such a great cheapie. Amazing freshy that’s isn’t overpowering so you can overspray. Definitely a 10/10

Asdaaf Ameer Al Arab Imperium is a surprisingly good cheapy. Nothing wow, but it does a pretty solid job. It opens fresh, aromatic and slightly spicy, with bergamot, ginger and sage giving it a clean, energetic start. Then apple and geranium make it a bit smoother and more modern, while musk, amber and sandalwood (as expected) add a soft, warm base. To me, it smells like a clean white shirt with a fresh spicy cloud around it: simple, pleasant and very easy to wear. This is a great fragrance for the office, school or daily chores during the day. What really impressed me is the packaging. The bottle looks excellent and feels velvety in the hand, except for the very cheap plastic cap, although it is strongly attached. Performance is solid. I would recommend overspraying it a little, and for around 4–5 hours I can definitely smell it on myself. It is also a great safe gift because it is generally appealing, so I would call it a safe blind buy too.

I got this bottle for the price of a takeaway meal and planned to use it as a home fragrance. On first use, it was fresh with a soft musky undertone. It had good (3 - 4hrs) but not great performance in humid, summer conditions. I put it away to see if it will improve with time. Also, I see a lot of votes comparing it with several fragrances but my research online and a check on the notes suggest that it is actually inspired by YSL L'Homme Ultime. I will update the review when I start using it. Edit: Fresh uncomplicated fragrance with citrus, spices and musk. Tops out at 4hrs of longevity with good projection for the 1st hour. Doesn't smell expensive but will do the job for a gym session or running errands.

Are you really suggesting that fragrances from Middle Eastern houses like Ahmed Al Maghribi, Arabiyat Prestige, French Avenue, Orientica etc. (and there is a very long list to be made) "don't last"? Even the brand Lattafa that you are shitting on has many fragrances that perform exceptionally well, Lattafa Emeer for instance. Is there also non-performing crap coming from the Middle East? Yeah of course! Not different from Western brands in that regard.

A very nice and easy to wear summer fragrance that smells much better than the 16 Euros I paid for it. With decent performance. The scent profile is nothing special, but it's crowd pleasing and unpretentious for sure. Perfect for the gym or when running errands on a nice, sunny day when you just want to smell good. Not because it is better or higher quality, but it's the kind of cheap fragrance that gives you more compliments than certain fragrances that are 5 or even 10 times as expensive.

I actually really liked this fragrance! Y EDT is one of my favorite perfumes OAT, and this is pretty close to it. I would say it's a mixture of both the EDT and EDP. You get the apple from the EDP but with the airy aldehydic and stronger aromatic character from the EDT. Dries down to an aromatic musky scent, reminiscent of fabric softener. For this price point I have no complains for it.

its just smells like clean lavender and citrus to be honest. This was part of a 130 dollar lattafa haul and this is not bad but there is no warm spice to it at all. it just smells like lavender and citrus thats it. no development. its very clean fresh and uplifting. don't expect it to be spectacular. not the most masculine scent but its a clean scent.

This is very close to Y. It last on cloths 8+ hrs, i wish this would project more and last long..

It smells really good, but on my skin lasts only 2 hours or so.

If you can get it for under 15$ i guess its a nice perfume for gym or quick errands or just do a quick refresh after a gym session or something if you gotta go somewhere. The scent is pretty good, the opening is nice and really reminds me of the Y edt dna, but this perfume doesnt last and I had it for a couple of months already, nothing improved. After a couple of minutes when it settles it has a more musky detergent type of scent, less of that great sweet sparkly apple opening. expect it to perform for an hour or two and thats it, and this is based on a 15 spray wearing experience, any less than 10 feels pointless with this perfume

Very meh. At the start, you get this bergamot blast. Just pure citrus. It's not bad, but just linear and it dries down to a bergamot dry down with a slight musk. Again, not bad but just generic. However where it fails is the longevity and sillage. It's actually very disappointing. Skin scent all throughout and it lasts about an hour if not less. This sucks because it's really not a bad scent, just awful performance. You can get it for $10-$15 but even at that price, there are better options.

Apple, ginger (most pronounced), bergmont and sage with additional note that comes off spicy herbal, No idea what that is. Compared to others on this line this might be the least favorite encounter. Average sillage and longitivity.

It reminds me of YSL Y EDT... "JUST REMINDS ME", that is it! This has the same issue as Armaf Odyssey, a Citrus bomb! I don't smell any apple, sage or anything, just citrusy smell, like you are smelling orange juice , and not in a fresh, clean way, it has something thick, heavy, not pure -which is very common in the so-called clones from Middle Eastern houses. That being said, it is expected from a 15$ "perfume". What I can't understand is people claiming it is fresh and very similar to YSL Y EDT! Sure, it has little similarities, it just "reminds you of" YSL Y, but no way it is very close or identical. Maybe good for begginers, or for those who have never tried the real YSL Y. Overall: 5/10 (For the nice packaging and bottle -same as Armaf Odyssey-).

I thought here we have good reviews, Y YSL DNA, which I like, added musk, which I love, so I should like it. But no. This one is harsh, synthetic, and irritates my nose and throat. One more stupid blind buy. Good thing it is cheap.

1st of all, it doesn't smell like YSL Y, more like Invictus or some plain Lemon frags. When initially sprayed, felt like a strong frag but really gone after an hour like most middle Eastern garbage. Only Armaf lasts, the rest including Lattafa don't but the f'ing youtubers tell otherwise & they often mention "for what you paid, you shouldn't complain". We wouldn't if only u were honest you lying piece of shit...

@HakkenJantje totally agree with you, while this fragrance doesn't last very long some others like lattafa Qaa'ed smells amazing even after a day. lattafa is a cheap brand and you get what you pay for but there are some hidden gems people don't know.

I smelled this in my local arab store. When I sprayed it everyone around me purchased a bottle, all women! It's a very fresh scent which we all agreed was unisex. Its perfect for summer and spring. I may buy my teenage son a bottle as well.

A banger for the price. One of the best smelling ysl y edt clones. I get 7 + hours longevity straight out the box. Definitely blind buy worthy.
