What the Fluff

Waited for the latest batch per BF, blind buy but wanted the 50 ml. By the time I was checking out at less than 1 minute after it became available to purchase, it was sold out, but the 30 ml was available, so tried for that -nope. Ended up getting what was available and snagged the 15 ml. It arrived within the time frame, and got it a few days ago. I haven’t tried Deliza di Marshmallow which is what I saw as the most compared one and still wanna try it, but have to say I’m really loving WTF! I like to spray my perfumes generously but didn’t go overboard, two on the wrist and one on my elbow. It’s got beast longevity, as that was over 9+ hours ago and it still smells delicious! I know some people are either yay or nay to burnt sugar/burnt marshmallow frags, but I am one that likes that burnt/smoky vibe. It’s subtle but I like that burnt crystallized sweetness as it adds a layer of depth; without it being some overly sweet nauseating sugar bomb. There’s something calming and comforting about this fragrance that sends me in pure vanilla heaven. As I’ve been on my vanilla kick, it’s worth mentioning how much of a great deal this is compared to others that are double or triple the cost. It smells like a stronger, sweeter, less musky Tiholta, with better silage for a bargain of the price. WTF is closer to Sucre Noir IMO, which I recently discovered and love, but its longevity falls short in contrast to WTF & is more wallet friendly. The sprayer is also great and out of the many recent perfume purchases I made, this one is tops. I can only imagine how yummy this will smell when I give it a proper spray on both arms and neck. And like SN and some of the others, it’s not cloying where it would be unwearable in the warmer months. Definitely blind buy safe and FB worthy for vanilla lovers of all ages. 10/10 all the way!

I’ve tried multiple different sweet marshmallow perfumes and I think so far wtf is top 1. Now I have not tried Delizia di Marshmallow but I’ve tried very close dupes such as Sugar baby by Scentual Fragrances where mostly all reviewers say it was better than Delizia. Sugar baby is great for the price, so sweet and pure. Overall a wonderful scent. I’ve tried Kayali yum boujee marshmallow, which UGH...Every time I smell it on someone, I know what it is and It makes me want to puke but it sucks because I used to like it and then I got pregnant while wearing it and I was so deathly sick during that time which for me, that exact scent profile brings back harsh memories so It’s a personal problem. Moving on, I’ve tried Marshmallow Crush by Parfums by Chérie. More of a spun sugar crystal vanilla cotton candy (no berries) marshmallow. So it has a sharpness to it and I think it’s the cotton candy. Smells wonderful however when I spray it, I end up coughing a lot and you can only get a big size so it can be a little $$. Overall rank: WTF is #1. Sugar Baby is #2. Marshmallow Crush is #3 WTF is smooth, so girly and sugary. Reminds me of sugar cubes and or a fresh open bag of sweet marshmallows. It’s pretty realistic and it doesn’t come off as sickly at all. You did good Aspiring Aromas 🩵 I’m actually really impressed. Keep growing!

What The Fluff is the sugary, dusty, creamy marshmallow perfume of my dreams!! I had high expectations and high hopes, and I am NOT disappointed. (She smells a little lighter than I expected, more smooth, less thick and sticky, but that's probably for the best because if she was any sweeter I fear she would give me headaches) When I first opened the box, I was hit with immediate nostalgia. Whatever residue was on the packaging smelled *exactly* like walking by the waffle-cone-ice-cream-shop at Disney World. If you now the smell, you know - it's that rich, gooey, warm vanilla, creamy sweetness that makes you want a sweet treat immediately. The perfume itself doesn't smell like that on skin, but the same ambiance is there. The same vibes, if you will. It's SO YUMMY. The wear experience for this one is very unique, because when I sniff directly where I sprayed it on my skin, I actually don't smell it very much. Just a faint, pleasant sugary sweetness. But with the way it projects, I keep catching whiffs of myself throughout the day as I'm moving around, and I keep thinking "ooh I smell great!". So she's definitely THERE, but she doesn't sit close to the skin like perfumes/perfume oils that I'm used to.

This is my most worn perfume because I wear it nearly every day as I layer it with EVERYTHING!!! This is pure non-airy marshmallow. Delizia is the airy one. This is like marshmallow cream. Today I have it layered with Nina Ricci Rose Exstase which is just perfection!! Some of my favorite layering combos with this are: Mon Guerlain Intense, Delina Ex, Valaya, Kalotinis Creme Brulee, Snif Gentle Reminder, Sorce English Major, Majouri Imperial Vanilla...I could go on and on. It's just perfection. And it only gets better as it ages. I hope she never stops making this because I will always have this in my collection. It's simple and it's perfect! Edit: also, for me, this has amazing performance and I'd be the first one to complain if it didn't. I feel like so many frags are lacking in that department and I know I'm constantly saying so many different fragrances are weak. Not this one. I'm not sponsored nor do I even know the owner of this brand other than being a member in a few of the same FB groups. So what I'm saying is my honest opinion. Delizia and Marshmallow Crush are also wonderful but neither perform like WTF.

Every single time I wear this, I get compliments. People LOVE this. I love this. This is a STRONG straight up marshmallow/vanilla BOMB and I will always have a bottle of this in my collection so to the creator, PLEASE don't ever stop making this. And I'm thrilled that it's now available in 100 ML. I've blown through two 50 MLs and now I have a 100 ML. I use this every single day in some way, shape or form. Perfect to layer with and boy do I layer everything with this! It's perfect right out of the mailbox and it gets even better than perfect as it sits. It turns that lovely golden color fast. It's not oily like a lot of indies and I believe that's because the creator is using aromachemicals as opposed to fragrance oils. This went viral for a reason. It knocked Delizia off its throne. Delizia is still amazing but it's performance has always been lacking for me. And WTF is more creamy vanilla marshmallow as opposed to Delizia's airiness. Now we just need to get the 3rd contender on Fragrantica. Marshmallow Crush. ITKTYK. If I had to rank the 3 of them, it would be #1- WTF, #2-Marshmallow Crush and #3-Delizia.

I’m late to the party on this as I’m in the UK, but LORD am I glad I’ve arrived😭😍 she’s the most beautiful airy vanilla marshmallow- a lot of people are describing as straight marshmallow but I would definitely say the vanilla and marshmallow are equally balanced for me. In a market where people are trying to do too much, there’s something so gorgeous and well done about the simplicity of WTF, and there’s a reason it’s fast becoming a cult classic! It’s not particularly powdery as fragrantica says and it’s not at all spiced or smoky like a lot of marshmallow notes, it’s light (in texture, not in strength), fluffy, whipped, creamy, sweet, sugary heaven! I only got a 30ml bottle but I’m too scared to use it as much as I want to because I don’t ever want to be without it again, so I’ll be getting a 100ml bottle ASAP (plus it’s such good value for money omg)🥹🍦

Just preordered a 50ml (blind buy 🤞) and i cannot WAIT to try this and compare it to Queen Delizia 👑 and my other straight 'mallows'! I will be comparing it to Delizia, Sugar Baby (Scentual Fragrances), Marshmallow moon (Etsy), Marshmallow crush (Perfumes by Cherie) and Mallow Kiss (Wilson & Son)- [my current reigning top marshmallows], will definitely update when she arrives! Ok, I get it. This is THAT GIRL. I love marshmallow, don't love most vanillas. My favorite marshmallows to date have been Ellis Brooklyn Marshmallows and Dedcool Mochi Milk. I really didn't believe anything could beat those. I was DEAD WRONG. This smells like an actual bag of marshmallows or like sticking your face in a box of lucky charms. lol. I will say I DO get the comparisons to Choco Musk. It has that same sweet powdery base, remove the cocoa puff and add marshmallow but this doesn't have a blast of gasoline when you spray it like Choco Musk lol. I could see how that comparison could turn someone off because of the price, but What the Fluff is extremely reasonably priced being that the quality is clearly MUCH better than CM. This will definitely be a staple in my collection.

Smells just like opening a new bag of marshmallows but also some vanilla and marshmallow dessert in the mix. Sweet, fluffy, delicious, but not cloying at all. This stuff is strong! The perfume oil content is high. When I spray it on my skin I stay shiny like applying a dry body oil almost lol. I’ve choked myself out many times while spraying it. I do not recommend spraying this directly onto clothes because the oils will stain the clothes (speaking from experience). Now I spray on my skin, let it absorb, then get dressed. I have layered this with so many other perfumes because it’s such a good layering base for many many scent profiles, but it’s also great on its own if your goal to smell just like marshmallow dessert. So glad this exists.

Upon first receiving it it smells like plastic with a very faint vanilla. The juice in my bottle is pretty clear right now, and I saw that the seller and many buyers say to wait a while for the juice to darken to get a better scent. I wish I could just use it now. Will update. UPDATE: It’s been about a month now and yes, the juice has darkened a bit and I now really enjoy this perfume. It’s a really nice vanilla marshmallow that lasts FOREVER. For reference, I’ve been spraying it on my wrists at around 8 am before I head to work, and by 5 pm I can still smell it on me when I’m driving home. I still get the teeniest hint of plastic when I first spray it but that doesn’t last long. Will repurchase!

I love marshmallow scents and have wanted this for a long time. I'm so glad I finally was able to snag a bottle because I adore it. It smells like an ooey gooey marshmallow with some vanilla. Very linear but I love it. I can layer it with so many scents. I adore it on it's own and it's fun to layer. So happy I was able to finally smell this i have DDM and the difference is definitely one smells like dry marshmallow in the opening and WTF smells more gooey. I love them both but think in time this will be even better. As is I'm extremely happy and i see now why they sell out so fast. It really is that good.

Such a simple, yet AMAZING perfume!!! There’s a reason this stuff is constantly selling out- it is THAT GOOD. Honestly, I can’t even explain why I love it; it’s fairly linear insofar as a scent. It’s straight forward sweet, fluffiness. That’s it! But, it’s just so pleasant- and after sitting for a spell, it gets even better! It’s great for layering, too- pretty much anything! But especially any scent you’d like to add a sweet touch to (I love it with Tom Ford Vanille Fatale and Kayali Royale Sugared Patchouli). Or, with fruity scents, like Escada or Juicy for a good mix! This is just a GREAT JUICE!!!

perfect marshmallow!! pretty similar to Delizia but sweeter, toastier, more gooey, better longevity, and MUCH better sillage. the sillage on this one is wild; i get whiffs of it alllll day but it’s never overwhelming. doesn’t trigger my migraine or irritate an existing one. i love layering it with just about anything, especially something super smoky & woody, but it is easily overpowered by other scents. definitely worth the money! it’s annoying to source but if you can get it, it’s sooo worth it. maybe my favorite fragrance ever

When I first got my bottle back in January I wasn't a fan. No longevity or projection— smelt faintly of vanilla and chemicals. Fast forward to now, I LOVE her. Sweet, gooey vanilla marshmallows (plastic note is still detectable on first spray but fades quickly). I walked into church today and a lady sitting in the very back row came up to me after service to tell me that she can smell vanilla cupcakes every time i walk in. I'm a bit anosmic to the scent now but I'm glad other people can appreciate it.🩷

This is that warm, yum gourmand smell I want to smell like but few master. Its that simple combination you want if you want to smell like marshmallow (and vanilla) with just the right amount of depth that it stands on its own. It’s warm sweet and yummy, that ooey gooey marshmallow and warm vanilla (the Tihota type vanilla) and a bit of the Vanille outremer, st barts, vaniglia type vanilla. It is so warm, yum, cozy and delicious.. Worth all of the hype, will be getting a bigger bottle of this.

I’m so glad Fragrantica finally added this scent to their database! I have both this and Delizia and while they are similar, this is a bit sweeter and doesn’t have that sharp sting to the nose like Delizia. Unfortunately, I’ve gone anosmic to Delizia after one use, but this one doesn’t seem to be burning my olfactory system to the ground. Love it! So excited to be wearing it when the cooler weather finally gets here.

This is the marshmallow of my dreams. It does not have a Smokey note; it’s pure sweet, fluffy goodness. It’s bold without being overpowering. I bought my first bottle in March and since then I have purchased 5 more. While I think it’s fantastic right out the box, over time the intensity strengthens so I like to keep some bottles cooking so I can always have one ready to go. Btw, I’m going thru a 50ml every 6 weeks.

What The Fluff is the best marshmallow out in the fragrance space. With the wave of marshmallow fragrances, What The Fluff is on a league of its own. This fragrance layers beautifully with so many other fragrances. The longevity and projection is well above average. I use this fragrance daily, have multiple back ups and keep a travel in my purse. Just truly a marshmallow or gourmand lover’s dream. I’m obsessed!

One of the best marshmallow fragrances i've ever experienced. I cannot imagine not having this in my fragrance collection forever. I consider it the "hot sauce" of my fragrance collection - it can go with anything & ALWAYS makes it better. Aspiring Aromas deserves all their flowers & some, considering they are an new indie brand that isn't even a year old yet, I can't wait to see what the future holds for them!

I absolutely LOVE this! I got a slightly dark bottle and it is beautiful. Definitely smells like sugary sweet marshmallows, but also when I smelled it, I was instantly reminded of the Thrifty Cotton Candy ice cream haha. The way that it tastes and smells is what WTF smells like to me. I am in love! It also lasts a long time on the skin as well. Very much worth it.

WTF is that girl! I would say it’s less powdery and more ooey gooey than Delizia. Much like Delizia, once it starts to turn color, it becomes a beast! I sprayed this on my jacket at the beginning of the week and am still getting compliments despite not reapplying AND wearing other perfumes under the jacket. You need it. In fact, you need multiple bottles.

This is honestly one of the best fragrances I have ever smelled, as soon as I smelled it i laughed my heart out of how realistic it smells, just like opening a pure fluffy bag of marshmallows. The only bad part of how long I waited for it to arrive since I don't live in the US. However, this is worth every penny and patience!

This was an instant love for me. I can’t wait until my full bottle arrives! This is a deliciously fluffy, gooey, creamy authentic smelling marshmallow. Absolutely nothing even remotely similar to Choco Musk. This is absolutely divine! Out of my whole collection, this and Marshmallow Crush will be constant repurchases.

What the Fluff is in a league all its own, this is not a dupe of Delizia Di Marshmallow...it’s pure fluffy marshmallow straight out the bag gooey goodness! One of my most used perfumes in my collection, I have gone through a 100ml and I’m nearing the end of my 50ml and it’s been about 5 months lol she is EVERYTHING. Sweet, fluffy, comforting, marshmallowy goodness. I will always be a WTF girly. I have like 15 back ups no lie.

Got this in the mail a couple weeks ago (I know indies and ME perfumes need to sit) but I’m very happy with it already. I have many marshmallows, I really got on that train and this is a top contender. I like La Ree marshmallow clouds better though. Their old formulation.

The best marshmallow fragrance I have tried and my very favorite perfume. This is gooey, creamy marshmallow with a touch of vanilla. Everywhere I go I get compliments with this one and every single person I have suggested this to, or have given samples to, loves it also.

This is a scent that I adore. I wear it alone and layer it with other sweet scents. Very beautiful marshmallow scent that lasts a longer time. I get whiffs of it when I spray it on my skin and it also lingers on my clothes. I will always keep bottles of this sent.

This is what everyone says it is. Delicious, ooey gooey marshmallow. This review is based on first wear as it only just arrived. It has a strong alchol blast on initial spray but that leaves as it dries down. I wish I had bought the 100ml instead of the 50ml!!

I like this better than delizia, delizia is more of a smoky marshmallow while WTF is more of a sweet fluffy marshmallow fragrance. Longevity is pretty decent. It’s a very comforting smell and I love wearing it to bed.

I don't even enjoy many gourmands, but I rock with this. It's a fun and gorgeous vanilla. There's a slight amber/balsamic accord in the background that keeps this from being straight on sugar, which I also appreciate.

Everyone’s already said it, but it’s a true ooey gooey sweet marshmallow vanilla cream. Nothing else - no floral, smoky or fruity notes. Love!! Very similar to delizia di marshmallow but without the smoke

This is the most beautiful marshmallow fragrance I have found. It lasts all day on me. I get compliments compliments on it Everytime I wear it. It’s also perfect for layering.

Tihota but with warm, gooey marshmallow. Truly gorgeous. So glad I purchased a backup before the price was raised.

This is nice, but... this smells a LOT like Outremer’s Vanille after drying down, down to the slightest orange note that at first translates like a faint rubber on my skin. I have a spray of What the Fluff on one wrist and Vanille on the other, and if you didn’t tell me which one was which, I would’ve said they’re the same. It’s a basic sweet vanilla after dry down, with a lot of smokiness on me. But Outremer Vanille is around $40 for 100ml, this is more than double the price at the time of review, $85 for 100ml. I will say the atomizer on WTF distributes more perfume per spray, so it gives me the appearance of being stronger. However, Outremer lasts just as long if I spray more, since their atomizer sprays less and has less range. I wanted to love her after all the hype but I wonder if the commenter before me is onto something that this could just be a pre-made oil diluted with perfumer’s alcohol. I feel kinda duped with the constant hype tbh. Again, nice. But always-sold-out-within-minutes nice? Everyone-needs-4-bottles-of-backups nice? I don’t get it. Also, it is worth mentioning that indie house CJ Scents had a What The Fluff before Aspiring Aromas came out with this to my knowledge. Not sure if that’s a coincidence, but CJ Scents’ WTF seems to be overlooked and I feel bad for Candice. Update: this smells better the next day after on spraying clothes. The first burst is kind of harsh, very smokey and semi synthetic, and my skin exacerbates that. Beautiful the day after, remnants of marshmallow dust and vanilla. Comments from passersbys on something around smelling like baked goods.

I have had this since October and my opinion of it has changed. I must admit I bought into the hype. But when it arrived, I did enjoy how it smelled (especially layered with Jo Malone Ginger Biscuit), even though it had a sharp alcoholic/medicinal opening. A few weeks after, however, the smell changed dramatically. It became much weaker. I gave up on it and stopped using it for a long time. Now the juice has darkened and it smells much stronger, but it still has an unpleasant alcohol/medicinal opening. Once that dries, it smells exactly like marshmallows and I do love that smell. I like to spray it on a paper towel and keep it in my closet so I get whiffs of deliciousness when I walk past.
