Tobacco Jam 50

This is easily the best fragrance in the entire lineup. At a price point of around $50–$65 in the U.S., the value is exceptional for what you’re getting. Its much more wearable version of Amouage Purpose 50. It opens with a subtle resinous touch that smooths out the composition and removes much of the harshness that some people experience with P50. As it develops, the dry down settles into a clean, slightly sweet, soapy frankincense accord that feels both refined and comforting. I’ve also experimented with layering it with Stephane Humbert Lucas God of Fire, and the result is fantastic. The combination creates a scent that people consistently describe as clean, unique, and very noticeable in a good way. The compliments have been nonstop. In fact, within just two weeks, I went through almost a quarter of the bottle, which almost never happens for me. What makes it even more surprising is that I often wear it to the gym, and it still manages to pull compliments in that setting. Overall, this fragrance is incredibly addictive and surprisingly versatile. I would absolutely consider purchasing a backup bottle and letting it macerate for the coming year.

I finally got my hands on Assaf Tobacco Jam 50, and the first thing that hit me was how close it feels to Amouage Purpose 50. The opening is easily 85–90% similar, that same spicy, resinous burst with tobacco, pink pepper and a touch of bergamot. It’s bold right away, smoky and warm, like walking through incense-filled air with dry woods burning somewhere in the background. As it settles, the heart brings in papyrus, sandalwood, and a muted rose, more like a dry and dusty type of rose, almost antique in character. After about an hour, the scent moves into a base of akigalawood, saffron, suede, and vanilla, and this is where it gets very close to the drydown of Purpose 50. Performance is decent, around 6 hours on my skin. Purpose 50, on the other hand, is a beast and has that regal, larger-than-life presence; on clothing, it can linger for weeks. I paid $75 (including shipping) and honestly it should have been closer to $50. Still, I’m happy with the purchase. The scent profile fits right in with the woody, resinous, saffron-heavy fragrances that are popular right now, and it scratches that Purpose 50-style itch without the luxury price.

It’s a nice scent, never tried purpose 50 so I can’t tell if it’s a clone or not! I just got it today and it gave me a solid 8 hours on the skin, sillage is on the weaker side tho, moderate or maybe less than moderate, but it’s a fact due to the very high 50% oil concentration. Mine is a new batch tho, 12/2025, so I will give it a chance to sit and macerate and come back with an update if anything changes. Edit: this is amazing, I love it, beautiful, elegant, cozy, niche scent. When I use it I can’t stop sniffing it on me. Performance is amazing too. It’s been macerating for 24 days now and I couldn’t resist myself using it today and I am glad I did, projection is much better now. Will keep updating if something changes.

Guy below talking about synthetic mess lol I own maybe 250 fragrances, Middle Eastern, niche and designer Tobacco Jam 50 is in my top 5 favourites It’s so well done, smells like juicy citrusy and ambery frankincense. So refreshing and uplifting. Truly an all year round fragrance, it’s refreshing in the summer and warm in the winter (especially when layered in the winter) Scent : 9/10 (stand out and unique DNA) Longevity : 9/10 (will smell it on clothes for weeks) Projection : 8/10 (really strong but not a beast mode room filler because it’s just not that kind of scent profile) Some would say a more wearable and mass appealing Purpose 50 Only problem is the bottle isn’t big enough and not enough juice

It’s been a long time that i dropped a reaction here, And believe that’s the only review you need to know, unfortunately the scent it’s not safe for blind buy, About the similarity for purpose 50 bro it’s pver 97%, the only difference here that tobacco jam opens with a harsh and hard tobacco with resins note, not a synthetic note it’s just too powerful, after a 30 minute the magic starts it’s just purpose one to one, About the performance u dont need to ask a lot it’s just a beaaaaaaastmode,longevity and projection bomb
