Mellow Yellow

What a lovely surprise! Not something I would have picked out for myself on initial read. However, it truly embodies the "mellow yellow" mood. For me, this fragrance is more of a "feeling", not just a composition of ingredients. Everything is round, happy, warm, glowy, and chill... Bob Ross style. Will definitely purchase a full size.

Again a new experience from a new brand for me Bought a partial since I feel like the price of the brand overall is overpriced While it smells spectacular but it is mellow just like the name suggests But the yellow part wasn’t clear for me probably it was the color of the juice To my nose it was unique which I look for in any new brand that I try out And just as I thought the price to result ratio is not fair at all The mellowness was a little excessive which is weak in other words and it died out when the sun is shining on you I liked it and I’m happy with my partial it is enough for me About the notes the smell is a little synthetic not that it’s a bad thing but don’t expect to smell fruits and florals like other natural smelling fragrances

Mellow Yellow is a versatile, year-round fragrance that effortlessly blends citruses, orange blossom, and cloves. While citrus-based perfumes with a twist are not uncommon, Astrophil & Stella have managed to craft a fresh scent that maintains depth and complexity. What stands out the most is its longevity—unlike many fresh fragrances that fade quickly, Mellow Yellow retains its brightness for an extended period. However, while well-executed, it doesn’t necessarily bring something groundbreaking to the table. Rating: 3/5

Starts with a blast of citrus (Cecile Zarokian signature!), lemon, and something sweet like banana. The lemon is joined by cardamom becoming a little gourmand. As the fragrance dries down a woody, quite dark, base with spicy cloves appears. The lemon mellows down and the sillage is not huge. The development from loud to subtle reminds me of Rubikona by the same perfumer. Although it is sweet I see this as more of a guy's scent. Lasts forever on the skin and ends up a like lemony detergent.

Quite lovely start that falls flat into cleaning products category. Would reapply for the opening though, it's juicy and delicious. I feel this entire line has been rushed somehow. It could have been so much more coming from C. Zarokian after all. Not bad nut not good either, just ok. Still 2nd best from this brand.
