Mon Santal

Astrophil & Stella’s Mon Santal is the realization of everything I wanted from Affinessence Santal Basmati. Its rice top note is remarkably savory and aromatic, perfectly setting the stage for a composition that balances spicy woodiness with a smooth, lactonic finish. It’s an incredibly sexy, well-crafted fragrance that stands out as a unique entry in the gourmand category. While it’s a beautiful unisex scent, keep in mind it’s not beast mode—it offers a moderate sillage and a projection time of about 3 to 4 hours (but it sticks to your clothing and skin all day long). Definitely full-bottle worthy for those who appreciate this profile. Absolutely DECADENT!

Absolutely love this one ! It's a sandalwood that's gourmand, in a savory way. Think midway between powdery and creamy sandalwood with a splash of Jeux de Peau. It's among my top two wish list dream fragrances. Located in Canada. Why is this not being sold anywhere 🙁? If you see it somewhere, please reach out.

Un profumo con un evoluzione meravigliosa. Io percepisco subito la nota di riso, successivamente il paolo santo e l incenso prendono le redini, non passa molto e arriva lui, questo sandalo meraviglioso che scalda. Ideale in tutte le stagioni, in estate lo preferisco di sera.

Smells like creamy sandalwood and sweet cookie batter. Very delicious smelling woody, lactonic gourmand perfume.

I honestly envy those who can detect other notes besides caramelized vanilla in this. It gave me a headache.

The copycat of Lovereaction from Ramon Monegal. This brand copy every niche perfume brand. Is that hard to create something by their own? After owning Paris Cherie, I’m really dissapointed with them. No art, no ideas, nothing. Stop producing dupes. Period!

This is a really nice, unique yet wearable sandalwood fragrance. It smells really nice but not sure if I’d buy a full bottle because it’s a bit too savory for me. Not sure if that’s just because of the current climate I’m in, it’s very humid and hot this time of year so the savory nutty nature doesn’t feel right to me for this climate, it’s too much for me but I’m going to retry my sample in the cooler months to see if I feel different. I will say regardless if I end up liking it in the cold or not, it is blended super well and I would recommend it to someone who not only enjoys sandalwood, but enjoys savory and nutty like scents as well. Good performance. Unisex.

Give me hints of Basilica by the brand Milano Fragranze and from the distance Atlas Fever. However, here the scent is much more polished and lighter — not as robust or dense. I’d say it’s a better, softer, and personally more interesting interpretation of a perfumes built around the same theme as Basilicia And Atlas from the aforementioned brand. Solid one!

This fragrance will remind you of many things only because it is complex and evolves throughout its wear. Initially it smells of warm rice, then it projects a deep smoky tea fragrance. Afterwards, the last notes are smooth and sweet.

I think this is supposed to be a “niche” dupe of certain javanol perfumes, like Santal Basmati. I rather like this, but it’s very similar to Sora Dora’s Red, along with DefineMe’s Nearly Noon.
