Paris Chéri

I don't see many people talking about this fragrance but this is honestly one of my favorite vanillas! I first got a sample of this and thought it's nice but meehh, it's okay. When my mom smelled it on me, she fell in love so I ended up giving it to her. After a while, I couldn't stop thinking about it; it had this unforgettable scent that kept coming back to me, so I finally asked my mom if I could revisit the sample and I couldn't just let it go. ended up buying 3 bottles no joke! to me, it's unisex and quite addictive. I would actually recommend this to people who don't even like gourmands. This isn't your typical sugar-laced gourmand. It smells like a pastry dusted in icing sugar. you can definitely get slight hints of cardamom, the iris is powdery, airy, and a little aloof. then comes the coffee and cacao, not syrupy or dense, but dry and sophisticated. Think of chocolate way more of like dusty cocoa over a steamed milk foam, or the faint bitterness of a dark chocolate shavings.

Purchased blindly and initially tested it on the paper, thought it was a mess, didnt think of it and it was flitting from the paper. But than I tested on the skin and thats where the miracle happens, gorgeous floral powdery vanilla opened up with some fruitiness and it stayed on my skin for over 6 hours. Lesson is you have to spray it on your skin to get the full effect, I know its common sense to do so but some fragrances are more complicated with the skin chemistry than others. This is very elegant fragrance. If you Enjoy Dama Bianca Xerjoff it sort of leans that direction for me, not the scent it self, Im not saying the scent is similar, but the fragrance direction being floral fruity vanilla. They are completely different. If you like one you might like the other.

This is a beautifull flowery gourmand type of frag. Dont get scared guys, this is totally unisex. It gives you that sweet chocolate almost pastery feel to it. And then the Orris comes in along with the heliotrope and lily to give you that extra spark so it dosent feel to heavy. Imagine youre sitting in your garden with freshly baked cocoa crossaints meanwhile youre getting wiffs of sweet flowers from the wind For Gourmand lovers: 10/10 Would recommend to sample it first

Paris Chérie is pure comfort in a bottle. On my skin it's powdery, fluffy, and incredibly smooth, with a creamy softness that reminds me of a freshly bathed baby. The scent feels airy yet luxurious, wrapping me in a cloud of clean, velvety sweetness. Simple, elegant, and absolutely blissful. Love from the first sniff!

Love it, simply love it. Paris Cheri captures Parisian mood perfectly. Imagine taking a petit-dejeuner in the city of love. Vanilla, cocoa, coffee in the early morning. The powdery orris is not that strong on me, which I prefer. Lovely scent with great sillage and good performance. Again, I love it!

This scent is absolutely amazing. I just can’t spray it enough.

This is a pleasant, chic, and effortless scent. However, not quite what I was expecting. I was expecting something a bit more gourmand but, on me, the orris root and cardamom overpower the other notes. It is a very powdery scent, though definitely on the sweet side. I am not usually the biggest fan of orris root and iris, but I surprisingly like this perfume. There is no doubt about vanilla being present in this. I get fleeting whiffs of cacao at times, but you have to pay attention not to miss them. The other listed notes are very hard to detect for me.

Paris Cheri is a Parisian coffee shop in a bottle. I can smell vanilla, cocoa, coffee with spices. Gourmand but not too bold with a moderate sillage and longevity. It is a creamy, warm and sweet fragrance. Perfect for a brunch / week-end. A cosy fragrance. Unisex. 8/10

This is an effervescent vanilla. Paris Cherie bubbles to life and is easily worn in hot weather. I think this is more champagne and macarons, I don't get a strong cafe or bakery smell. This is magic fairy dust ✨️ .

If chocolate croissants were flowers they’d smell like this. A powdery, floral vanilla, becoming more chocolatey as it dries down, but never going full gourmand courtesy of the heliotrope and orris

I get a lot of Vanille Orchidee by Van Cleef & Arpels resemblance. Powdered, dusty, dry chocolate and vanilla accord.

Van Cleef & Arpels's Vanille Orchidee is accurate. Powdery, dusty vanilla chocolate scent. I can pick up a little lily of the valley but it's not a green scent. A cold weather scent since it's a powder bomb. You can achieve the same scent with Vanilla Orchidee for less. Hard pass, I dislike this one.

very vanillic, but has an underlying note of powdered sugar covered playdough. not for me

Reviewing a tester after half a year of maceration (which really made it a chefs kiss). I would describe it as a non-chalant gourmand. Imagine poweder cocoa on a cardamom bun dumped in a soft milky coffee. Not that it would have lactonic note, not at all, but the coffee is just soft and mellow. It literally melted to my skin...oh my. The vanilla is dominant but not sharp, I can imagine that even them who don't particularly like vanilla would be very okay with this smooth sweet vanilla note. It's soft-feminine, elegant, as said - non-chalant in the Paris way. It doesn't scream, it is just here seducing you to sniff more and more. I can imagine this as a signature type of scent. The heliotrope is also quite clear to notice - first time I tried it I didn't like that but after the maceration it hot softer and more rounded, blended more with the vanilla, and now I like the note of it. It's really beautiful. But again...give it little time to rest to really got the smoothness. Projection is really good, not a beast (which with this frag is a good thing), I wouldn't spray much, maybe 2-3 sprays. Longevity is around 7 hours for me now. As I mentioned, it blended to my skin, for sure better on skin than clothes. Year-around frag, but can't see it in a heat (it's still a sweet vanilla).

I got a sample of this and have to say, I'm glad I didn't blinde bought it. Not becouse it's not good! It's just not sweet enough for me. And basicaly not special enough to me. (Or atleast on me!) It's a super option for those who like light not too sweet gourmand type fragrances! Soft, elegant, little powdery and I can say it's comforting. But if you check my taste and consider yourself as a special gourmand lover, than it's not for you. But if you finde my taste too sweet, but you still love lighter sweet fragrances than maybe it's for you!

Beautiful gourmand floral scent. Rich vanilla, and for some reason i really feel there is a pear note in here. I love this note, and am picking up on a not too dominant but nonetheless present pear. Must be the fruity and candied elements. Nice and complex, to me it's also a little xerjoff lira. But more floral and a bit more complex with the resins. To me this smells like macarons! It is not explicite gourmand I mostly get a lot of musk mallow with some heliotrope and box of macarons. It slightly reminds me of Dama Bianca, but that one was more floral and nostalgic. It is also more smooth and fluffy than Vanille Orchidee which I did not like because chocolate in it was too earthy.

Incredibly nauseating. Like gummy candies covered in powder. Or being at the mall too long and your stomach hurts and everything is an artificial color and the light is wrong. I can't imagine choosing to smell like this.

Was expecting something much more gourmand based on the reviews. Its just not sweet enough for me. Im not getting a pastry at all. It actually smells a bit aromatic to me. Nice, but not memorable in my opinion.

I agree with two reviews below. I get baby and I get powdery orris. It reminds me of a profumum roma scent Meringa. It's pretty but not something I'd wear on a daily basis. Very sweet (very) and powdery.

despite its killer pyramid it sounds and opens on the skin very delicately, very feminine and refined. I want to smell my wrist, a very pleasant perfume.

Lovely, delicious sweet baby product (not just powder). Persistent, high quality skin scent. Well balanced, small masterpiece.

I get a prominent cardamon note in the opening. The coffee cacao Iris come and play a nice part. All over w pleasant scent.

I bought this because of the “it reminds me” section.....it does not smell like santal de Paris.
