Bergamote Soleil

Wow! I almost dismissed this one!!! At first you smell it and you think you have smelled it before (a similar experience I have with Roja parfums). This one is a high end take on a traditional summer cologne but, oh boy, if I did not get a sample to take with me home I would never experience it and wouldn't have bought it eventually. Beautiful, delicate, exquisite and well blended summer cologne, with true unisex profile. Top quality ingredients in line with Creeds, Roja and Frapin. It starts citrusy (bergamot and bitter sweet orange) but immediately midnotes move in creating a similar accord with florals (lavender and jasmine) while moving to the base where oakmoss and very contemporary light vetiver continue the top notes harmony. Amazing blend, I am speechless how something so simple can be taken to the next level. A few things to know about this one. It is a summer scent (it needs the heat). You can wear it as signature office scent but it will be more subtle, closer to personal scent (perfect for office). It is not original as a scent, the blend and composition is. It is very light but lasts good 8 hours on me with good projection (in hot summer conditions). Jérôme Epinette is a genius!!! Take your time with this one, fight your instinct to dismiss it as just another summer citrus freshy!!!

Atelier Cologne's citrus fragrances are always my favorite. And this time, Bergamot Soleil won my heart again. There are too many perfumes named "xxx soleil", but only few of them can make me feel the sunshine in the aroma.What should a "sunny" fragrance be like?At least in my view, it should be fresh and clear, without any dark side, and it should have the ability to bring us delight.Therefore...only(again, this is just my personal opinion)...only the citrus fruit have this power.Because the scent needs to be juicy enough, so it could immediately catch your attention. Well let's talk about this fragrance——even though it was named "Bergamot", I agree with many reviewers here that the bitter orange scent has actually overwhelmed the bergamot.Unfortunately I am a super bitter orange lover, so it's pretty hard for me to be...completely objective.But I still have to say that...the bitter orange here is not really a "distracter" but a special way to make the whole scent more limpid. That's what "soleil" should be...like in a warm autumn day the sunlight flows through the leaves and falls in a creek...then shines like hundreds of topaz...pure beauty.

A citrus lovers dream. I like this although for the price, I have other bitter orange/bergamot based fragrances that offer a more complex scent. Not to say that's bad because this is definitely a quality frag. It sprays on almost like an oil. It will outlast all of those other said fragrances but worth the price tag? Probably not. I would be interested in testing their other offerings and will. I just so happened to catch a bargain on a travel sized bottle of this one. So, the scent. It's really not so different from Cartier's Declaration L'Eau (a fraction of the cost). Zesty, tangy bergamot and other citrus with an herbal feel to it. I get hints of the other notes in the drydown and a bit of a soapy citrus smell. However, it's still mostly citrus throughout. It will certainly outlast Declaration L'Eau but not Bvlgari's Aqua Amara (not so similar but same wheelhouse). I got about 6-7 hours out of it which was somewhat of a disappointment with it being a straight parfum and the sillage is quite good for a few hours. Overall, I enjoy it but I would not pay MSRP blindly.

Bergamote Soleil is one of the best Bergamot fragrances for my money. I have mentioned this before, nobody does citrus notes better than Atelier Cologne and this is one of my favourites from their line. First spray notes that hit you are a really bitter orange peel and Bergamot. Bam. Citrus lovers dream. The Bergamot stays to be joined by a kinda spicy heart with ambrette, lavender and vetiver. I know it says vetiver is a basenote but I really get it pretty soon into the fragrance.The dry down is oakmoss and the white musk that is common to most of the Atelier Citrus frags. To sum up, main notes are Bergamot, bitter orange and a spicy combo of Vetiver and ambrette. projection is acceptable arms length for the first couple of hours before settling down and longevity is average to goodish, 6-7 hours on me with 4 sprays. This is one of those frags which to a lay person will just smell citrusy but to a more educated nose, will show wonderful facets of a beautiful bergamot and vetiver with spicy flourishes. Understated class. I love it. 9/10

The bergamot here is not so thick and strong. The orange comes through clearly giving it a lighter fresh scent. Lavender is faint and well blended which is a good thing. I get the amber and all the other notes round out the base in a perfect balance to the citrus top notes. This is very good for humid summer weather. It feels like you're straight out of the shower. I love orange-type notes for their sweet, clean, fresh scent. This is a lovely take on that. It's not the most long lasting which is a downside because this is a more pricey fragrance. I think if you need to reapply several times a day, you want the price to be lower. Otherwise, this is gorgeous, uplifting, sunshine in a bottle.

This is a gorgeous fragrance. Originally bought my sister the Chance Eau Fraiche but her chemistry made it smell way too masculine. We returned it and she tried on some Atelier fragrances and she loved several. She ended up narrowing it down to this one. This is the essence of my sister. Her personality and look fits with the fragrance and is just a beautiful aura around her. She is athletic, blonde, outgoing and funny. She loves citrus and the citrus blooms beautifully on her without smelling too masculine. It gives her a trail of sillage for the first couple hours as well! Long lasting.

This is so fresh and lovely! I love bergamot note in colognes so I was looking for an affordable bergamot focused fragrance. This one does it for me. I like Atelier's fresh fragrances so far. I admit I'm still a novice on my fragrance journey. There'are some bitter orange notes along with a delightful crisp and fresh, tart bergamot. I would give it a good 4.75/5 even though it doesn't last more than 4-5 hours. I just carry an atomizer with me if I want to reapply. It's a small cost to experience the fresh outburst this fragrance is!

A sparkling fresh citrus aromatic that is so realistic that it takes my breath away.Bright and cheerful, this is one that will lift your spirits on a humid summer's day The citrus is tart at first but mellows as it enters the floral heart stage of the development. The dry down is earthy and warm. Silage is moderate, longevity surprisingly good; I applied yesterday at 4:00 PM and at 8:00 AM I could still smell the basenotes on my skin. I highly recommend this as a worthy addition to your warm weather stable of scents.

My favorite of the Atelier citrus scents. This one packs the perfect citrus punch. It smells and feels like sunshine. The combination of bergamot, cardamon, and ambers give such warmth. The Jasmine and lavender aren't present until the dry down and is pleasant. The lavender doesn't smell medicinal as it can at times. I like this scent very much for myself, but I'm going have my husband try it out because I think it would be fabulous on a man as well.

I have found my summer 2021 signature scent!! This is everything you want in a summer scent, without the coconut/tanning lotion vibe. Complex citrus, with a delicious creamy drydown The only downside is that you have to reapply every 2-3 hours if you want to get noticed, because this beauty transforms into a skin scent pretty fast (but ohhhhhhh what a skin scent!!).

My absolute favorite citrus scent ever. Strong bitter bergamot, kind of green pepper ish, with an herbal backing. One of the most truly unisex scents I think I've ever smelled, and my favorite daily wear. It's peppy enough for the day but bitter and interesting enough for the night. I think it smells better the more you sweat!

Pretty bergamot (quite radiant one as well). It has zesty and fruity aspects and well as slight powdery clean vibes from jasmine. Nice (slightly bitter) freshness from herbs and spices (lavander and cardamom). In general it’s a very decent bergamot: juicy, fresh and multidimensional. Follow me on IG: scent.guide

Short and sweet, the best bergamot I've ever smelled. Doesn't possess great longevity but when it is with you, you're the zestiest bit of summer citrus scent around. Buy the big bottle that comes with a purse size atomizer so it can carried along for touch ups to stay deliciously fresh & cool all day long.

My first ever Atelier Cologne! And what can I say? Certainly a fresh, beautiful and very clean scent. Starts with a bergamot BLAST with a hint of blood orange, then a very nice and clean scent cardamom, jasmine, vetiver and a slight hint of oakmoss stays with you for a long time I love it so much!

Smells like sunshine and woods to me. Beautiful bergamot top note which on me does get pretty good longevity for a citrus note, then it shifts to a nice soft woodsy vibe with the vetiver, oakmoss, lavender and spices. So good and one of my absolute faves from this house.

Smells like a more refined and complex mancera lemon line. price-wise, it’s more worth to buy than lemon line, but really, nothing that special or extraordinary. just a good, safe fragrance with an okay performance.

Quite nice, a deeper citrus with a twist. Office safe, spring and summer. Nothing spectaculair, but nice, fresh and different. It was a gift, would rebuy if the price was more reasonable.

So natural, fresh and sparkling! Almost like its alive.when you wear this you get super happy and you will smell so fresh and clean. One of the best citruses ever made in my opinion.

My new favorite Atelier. So very much like cedrat enivrant but with less masculine base. Opens with crisp sharp citrus peel, a far better bergamot than I have sampled in a while.

I love bergamot. This is an unpretentious just-about-soliflore. Decent sillage. Fresh, green, citrusy. Unisex. If you usually find citrus too sweet, give this one a try.

This is good, but Orange Sanguine Atelier Cologne I like more!

I have this in a 5ml decant tester. Bergamot is one of my favorite notes, and I have tried several bergamot fragrances from Atelier Cologne. I think this is Atelier's best bergamot fragrance, although it is a little more femme than my usual. It’s bright and clear and so much fun. Bergamot Soleil is the smell of turquoise: not the stone, but the color. It’s the blonde, freckled girl in the Spring/Summer Abercrombie catalogue, flirtatious and fleeting as a summer romance. This is a very preppy scent, a little on the feminine side. I am a queer woman with a complicated gender identity and this suits me better on my femme days, it is a little dysphoric when I am feeling more butch. However, I imagine the right Vineyard Vines-and-boatshoes masculine type could wear this; it's just not for me on my butch days. This opens with a big blast of bitter citrus. There is also something “sparkly” to my nose, something effervescent like the bubbles in champagne or sunlight glinting off the surface of the ocean, though I cannot place it. It definitely does not smell like aldehydes, either--this is warmer, lacking iciness, as though the champagne has been sitting out in the sun for awhile. The bergamot actually seems to be a supporting player to the bitter orange at first, though it does become more prominent over the next 30 minutes or so. At this point, I get more of the jasmine and the white amber, but they stay pleasantly in the background through the heart of this fragrance, letting the two citrus fruits take the spotlight. This was a bit surprising as my chemistry tends to “pull out” and exaggerate florals and jasmine is such a LOUD flower, but this a very polite jasmine all the way through. After about 1-2 hours, the sour citrus scent recedes, but it never fades completely. The jasmine/amber combination that takes over is rather common, but this is much lighter and brighter than the usual heady/sweet interpretation. I guess this the white amber, which seems more powdery than I’m used to, as well as the fresh, green vetiver anchoring the scent. This is a very fresh and grassy vetiver, very well complemented by the herbal lavender. I do not get the oakmoss or the cardamom as distinct notes; they seem to “round out” the fragrance by keeping the citrus and vetiver combination from getting too sharp. The result is a very fresh citrus that never veers into “Pledge” or “Lysol” territory. This is a pretty brief fragrance, Iasting only about 4 hours on my skin. Sillage is very low, perhaps 4-6 inches. It is a good daytime fragrance, and most will probably like this as a summer scent. Since citrus-heavy scents tend to “curdle” my natural scent in warmer weather (I smell like BO even after a shower), this is a scent for cooler weather for me. I’d like to try it once more during the rainy season in early spring, as I feel the jasmine will get a little more prominent and perhaps develop enough to go a bit skanky without getting raunchy in the humidity. If that’s the case, I may purchase it as a travel spray: although altogether excellent, it’s certainly not a must-have scent for me, a bit too femme for my everyday.

After a very long time spent living under clouds, I have begun to feel the sun come out in my life. So, of course, I am inclined to wear happy scents and Bergamote Soleil is about as upbeat, happy and fun as scents get. The titular bergamot is strongly present from the get go and here it smells incredibly bright and lifelike. There are other citrus notes at work beneath the bergamot, but they are impossible for me to identify. Like all happiness, the bright cherry aspects of this fragrance fade to fast. The longevity here is really brevity, by 90 minutes in, the fragrance has become a trace skin scent. On its way to the end of its never more than moderate projection, the bright hesperdic notes fade and mossy, green and slightly musky (ambrette?) smells appear. But why over analyze such a fun scent or fret if it takes reapplication to get a full work day from Bergamote Soleil. I think one of the reasons I feel better about life these days is I have decided to spend less time analyzing and over-thinking things because doing so tends to cause me to become distrustful of good things, overly cynical and possessed by the feeling that happiness will turn bitter. Sure, like anything in life, you can focus on the bitter elements in this scent, because they are here, in the citrus rinds, the green elements and even in the hints of dark vetiver that lurk in the base notes of this fragrance. But why dwell on the fact that the party will eventually end when it has just started? This scent is a happy, sunny day in a bottle and as such, it deserves to be embraced at face value, enjoyed while it lasts, and celebrated for what it is. Recommended for bright sunny warm days when you feel happy and want to smell that way too.

I usually love at least the openings of Atelier Cologne's citrus focused scents, so I couldn't wait to try their take on bergamot. And I do like it, and stand by my impression that this house's mission is to make a great interpretation of every citrus fruit on the planet, and that they're nailing it - and with Bergamote Soleil, bergamot can be struck from the list as well. That being said, this one didn't wow me as most of the others have. But I suspect that's just because of my personal taste, rather than any flaw in this fragrance: bergamot is a note I probably prefer in combination with others, or in the background of a scent, rather than as the main star as it is here. For me, it just lacks that sparkle, that little hint of sweetness that's where the magic happens with most citrus notes. So this one ends up being just nice to my nose, and not much more. On top of that, there's the familiar development that I've come to expect from this house: the citrus fades very quickly, and what's left is that typical aromatic, masculine-leaning base that I don't mind, but don't particularly enjoy either. I usually take this as part of the deal for those wonderful joyful citrus openings. But for this one, where even the opening is "just nice" to my nose, I think I'll leave it at sampling.

The opening is a bodied sour like a sherbet lemon. The ambrette really rounds it out. Something a little spicy (probably cardamom) on the underside which gives it the aura of an essential oil blend they'd use in a spa. Intimate sillage; you aren't detecting this unless your nose is directly on it. The woodiness introduces itself after a couple of minutes without becoming the main attraction. For the first couple hours this is ok, for the next couple hours it's GOOD. If there's anything left after 5 hours its almost entirely the base notes with a touch of sweetness from the jasmine. Still a reasonable lifespan for a citrus; I'd be reapplying after 4 hours. Apply this is the morning before an active summer day. So fresh, energetic, and optimistic. Very bright and refreshing. A great pick-me-up. This is unisex with a masculine lean throughout. Atelier is the brand and Bergamote Soleil is the fragrance for ride-or-die citrus enthusiasts. The heart/base a bit woodier, earthier and masculine for my personal preference, but I'd be so attracted to this on someone else. Men in their 20s PLEASE grab this before ADP Colonia Assoluta this summer. It's a very similar DNA to Pomelo Paradis and Orange Sanguine, but they keep recycling it for a reason.

Bergamote Soleil is another good citrus from Atelier. It opens with a blast of bergamot, bitter orange and lavender. Ten minutes later it's joined by oakmoss, jasmine and a hint of vetiver. Around 30 minutes in the cardamom emerges along with a gentle amber. One hour in and you have a bergamot-bitter orange dominant perfume that projects moderately. Two hours in and the musk emerges but the dominant theme remains the citrus - lavender axis along with a green note. Four hours in and the musk has become the dominant note. Four and a half hours in and the perfume is fading - now a citrus - musk axis along with the green note. It's pretty much gone after five and a half hours. Six hours in and you're left with what feels like clean skin but no perfume. It feels very much like a daytime only scent and one for the warmer weather although I could see it cheering you up on a cool autumn day. Feels very unisex or gender neutral to me and I can't really think of any particular associations or images with it. I like it. It's nicely blended. I'm not sure about repurchasing at the retail price but perhaps if I found a stray bottle going at a more reasonable price I'd go for it. I just feel that for the money it should last a little longer.

One of my mother's favorite fragrances. I recently bought a bottle for her birthday and decided to spritz some on my wrists. I'm impressed with the realism, it's exactly what the rind of a particularly sour citrus would smell like, even down to the pepperiness of the rind. It starts off green and bitter- then incredibly bright and tart. At this stage the scent leans masculine, but it develops a slight floral sweetness that turns it more unisex. The acidity calms down too, especially when the lavender kicks in and adds a relaxing quality to the scent. The citrus is still there, but nowhere near as sour as the initial spray. EDIT: wore this to sleep and caught whiffs of it as I was sleeping. The skin scent lasts all morning. Loved the skin scent: its a soapy clean soft citrus, with floral herby undertones, and a tiny bit sweet. If you are looking for a sweeter juicier citrus, I would highly reccomend Atelier Cologne's Orange Sanguine. Bergamote Soleil is much more tart and herby. Also with Orange Sanguine, I would not reccomend wearing Bergamote Soleil on days you know you will be sweaty, the sourness of this fragrance will emphasize the tanginess of your sweat.

To me this one opens with a very nice, fresh bergamot. Very vibrant. Then, after a few minutes it becomes a tad powdery which is something I wasn't expecting and I didn't quite enjoy. I can also smell a bit of the lavander. However as the hours go by, the bergamot fades along with the kinda sorta powdery smell, and the biter oranges take the stage along with a small hint of lavander. The orange is tart, quite juicy, sweet but not overwealming. I get a bit of the "soapy" smell on clothes but not really on skin. I really like this one, although it needs more testing. So far the sillage has been good for at least the first 4 hours and then starts getting closer to the skin. Still I get wifs of it every so often. Longevity is good for me, but all the Atelier perfumes I have tried seem to be long lasting on my skin. Been there for 8 hours and still going. As a side note, this one reminds more of Orange Sanguine than to Cedrat Enivrant. The opening does remind me to Cedrat, but it a way less "masculine" form. However the heart and drydown are closer to Orange Sanguine, but also on a less "masculine" form.

Sniffing from the cap, I found Bergamote Soleil very similar to Cédrat Enivrant and I was very confused. But once sprayed on skin and compared side by side, these two have indeed a few differences. Bergamote Soleil opens with a herbal, slightly aromatic citrus peel smell. It's gently sweet and devoid of the pith's bitterness, which smells very much like the edible kumquat rind. In comparison, Cédrat Enivrant suddenly feels more soapy, and more herbal, bitter and tart. With time, Bergamote Soleil also turns a bit sweeter, brighter, and maintains an overall warmth, matching perfectly with "Soleil", while Cédrat Enivrant feels cooler, more zesty and invigorating. The sillage is moderate to close, and the longevity on me is around 6 to 7 hours on a hot sunny day. Although overall, Bergamote Soleil and Cédrat Enivrant are both relatively realistic tart citrus fragrances, they do exhibit slightly different mood and characteristics, with Bergamote Soleil being more sunny, sweeter and less soapy. I'd recommend it, especially if you happen to find Cédrat Enivrant a bit too masculine.

Only thing holding me back from a “love” is the 5 hour longevity for its price...making it a below average value. Bergamot at its best!!! Pure citrus goodness. The Orange gives it even more freshness, but only compliments, not taking away from the bergamot. As it dries down, their is a hint of lavender to add to the bergamot. Four hours later, I get a hint of oak moss to add depth. For me though, bergamot stays for the duration...and is complimented by the orange, lavender and oak moss. Superb...absolutely superb! Longevity is 4/5 hours...below average. Projection is average. For spring/summer days only doesn’t make this that versatile. Certainly unisex. IMHO, this is the best bergamot fragrance I have tried...while it lasts. It’s hard for me to spend $100 for a fragrance that doesn’t last a full work day. I do recommend getting a sample to experience a great pure take on Bergamot.

Overall nice, but I must be hyper-sensitive to white florals because I smell jasmine for a long time in this one. The opening bergamot is bright, juicy and realistic but unfortunately this burns off fairly quick (though a very light citric feel remains throughout). There's also a bit of spiciness noted in the 1st hour, I'm guessing from the combination of ambrette, musk and cardamom. From about the 1st-3rd hours, jasmine and lavender start to become quite noticeable to me. The drydown on my skin has a bright soapy (almost detergent) vibe and reminds me a bit of Prada's Infusion d'Homme: white floral with a touch of vetiver, but this is not as powdery. It all died down and became a hovering skin scent after say 4-5 hours, yet it was easy to sense if I got my nose close for a long while (mileage will vary on skin type and application). Rating: 6/10 (nice but nothing new)

From the reviews, I was hoping for a great summer scent. While I think it's not bad, and the longevity is much better than I expected, the overall scent doesn't do anything for me. It reminds me of a citrus Ricola cough drop, citrus potpourri, or a citrus tea. I was looking for more of a punch, but got a whimper. I was pretty much only getting the bitter citrus and lavender, not bad, just not amazing. It projected for about 1-2 hours, I like the opening. The dry down - which happens within 1-2 hours - is cough dropish. On my clothes, I got much better performance, on my skin I could still smell remnants of it the next day. Unfortunately, that was pretty much how it smelled after 4 hours. I'd give it a 4.5 out of 10 for me. I know there are probably some who think it is amazing and will carry the bottle to respray all day long, I just don't see myself doing that.

This sharp, tart cologne opens with a dry, natural-smelling bergamot with lavender undertones. Instead of being a simple, fresh citrus cologne, this scent embraces the dull dissonance of bergamot as a note. In place of brightness, it is aromatic and somehow dark, almost smoky, and masculine-leaning. There is no sweetness, thanks to the astringent bergamot and bitter orange that provide the citrus accords. The opening makes for a pretty good reference bergamot, complemented by the musky ambrette and lavender notes. Longevity and sillage is moderate. This subtle, tastefully-done cologne uses natural, high-quality ingredients. It dries down to a slightly musky amber, with a beautiful, earthy oakmoss note. The tartness remains. High quality unisex cologne. Excellent example of a fougère done well. Bergamot without the soleil. 4/5.

Nose Note #574 I feel very happy for people that can afford a cologne like this for $185 and I hope they feel leisurely about overspraying this, because this being a super natural smelling and 100% summer scent is what it is - it has a lifespan of a mosquito (which is an exaggeration). This is a very biting citrus forward scent. The bergamot is soured by the bitter orange considerably. The scent is also slightly bitter. And it also has very subtle sweetness. It's a gourmand in a way that the citruses are very realistic. Unfortunately, I can't see myself wearing this. This is just not something I enjoy. I think this will entertain the female audience much more. 7/10, eau de cologne for riche de poche

I recently received seven Atelier fragrance samples. I'm not very familiar with the brand and am excited to try these and share my thoughts. Bergamote Soleil is a bright, sunny, and refreshing fragrance. Aromatic bergamot takes center stage with a little spicy cardamom and a mix of damp and dry woods. Very nice! I finished testing my Atelier samples. My favorites were Santal Carmin, Café Tuberosa, and Musc Imperial in that order. Atelier fragrances are interesting, unique and well-crafted. There are many more fragrances in the Atelier catalog and I plan to try some more!

Sharp and bright, bitter yet sweet! This is a strong, fresh citrus. All of Atelier's citrus fragrances are incredible, but this one really stands out for how bright it is. The longevity is short, but the sillage is strong while it's there. Normally, I notice it fading within an hour. This is a summer fragrance for sure, but not a beachy one. It's more "forest on a dry, sunny day." This was great to sample for a week. Ultimately, I won't be buying it (it wasn't the perfect match for me among the lineup)... But I'm sure I'll be craving it on sunny days!

Bergamote Soleil has one of the best citrus openings I've ever experienced. But I'm envious of anyone who gets even an hour out of this scent, and this is my main issue with most of the Atelier line: the dismal performance. After 20 minutes this becomes a skin scent, and after another 15 minutes the base notes completely disappear. I don't care that much about longevity, but I need a minimum of an hour, and especially when paying full retail price. Love that opening though, so much so that I went through my 30ml bottle in just a few weeks.

i don't know who named it bergamote. it's completely bitter orange in best way. all atelier perfumes have best quality but like all of this family have lack of last and sillage.so saaaaaad.just for home use because nobody notice that you wore perfume.8/10 اولا من نمی دونم کی اسمه این عطرو گذاشته ترنج. این عطر نارنجه خالصه از نوع کیفیت فوق العاده. اما متاسفانه مثل تمامه عطرهای خانواده آتلیه از کمبود ماندگاری و نشر بو رنج می برد. کلا عطرهای آتلیه فقط به درد استفاده در خانه می خوره چون اصلا کسی متوجه نخواهد شد که شما عطر زدید.

The opening is sparkling fresh with bergamot having the central stage. After the first hour, when the bergamot loses its power, the dry down phase is the usual Atelier base that I know from many more of their offerings. It's a nice summer scent, but it doesn't stand out in any way. My reference bergamot perfume is Le Labo's Bergamote 22 which wows me when I put it on, at least in the first hour. Bergamote Soleil doesn't really move me. Scent: 7.5/10 Longevity: /10 Projection: 4/10

I’ve realized I have a very few fresh summery fragrances in my collection and would like to add this one to it, but I can’t justify the price. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful juicy citrusy scent. It brings me back to my childhood in USSR when mom “scored” a bottle of Eau Jeune, something you couldn’t just walk in the store and buy any time you want... Bright, sunny, happy. Maybe the hell with the money? Have to really think about this one...

My second favorite from the Atelier line, the first being Grand Neroli. This one is lovely, a sharp, sophisticated citrus blend that is really refreshing, without any hint of dish soap. There's a bit of lavender in there, just enough. This is an excellent fragrance when you need something refreshing, light, inoffensive, and sophisticated. The quality is apparent-- there are a lot of citrus fragrances and this is better than most.

First blast of a bergamot bomb that gets sharper as it dries down. Very fresh and clean, bright and not super sweet. Not quite getting any florals or warm amber yet as the bergamot is still the strongest note, even 2 hours later. It's performing and projecting well for a citrus as that family doesn't last long on my skin. Unisex and great for a hot summer day. 6+ hours later: Still faintly there.

I really like this scent. Zesty, complex citrus. Not sweet, not bitter. The only thing is that it does not last. On my skin, it lasts maybe 30 mins or 1 hour. I tried it on my clothes hoping it would stay for at least a few hours. After 1 hour I could hardly smell it. I really love the smell, but am hesitant to spend so much money on a bottle of it since sillage and longevity are so low.

The bergamot opening is gorgeous, and the fragrance retains a hint of this citrus throughout the wear. In the drydown it's more herbal and dry, and maybe just a touch soapy. I haven't tried many fragrances that are focused around the bergamot note, but I think this is a good one. It sits close to the skin, but has pretty decent lasting power.

My kind of citrus. Bergamot Soleil is sharp, austere, zesty and bitter. The moss makes this one feel dark, and smoky. The vetiver adds a suedish element to the composition and the lavender smoothens things out beautifully. Ambrette adds a musky touch that makes it work for all seasons. Just lovely to wear.

A bit astringent and masculine when first sprayed. But after a few minutes, it becomes a lovely, uplifting, and sunny bergamot. Unfortunately, it starts disappearing quickly with little to no sillage and becomes a soapy skin scent. Alas, a nice, lightly citrus soap, but still soap, and barely noticeable.

Fresh, natural bergamot...but not as refreshing and bright as other citrus freshies I enjoy like the ADP Blue lines or other Ateliers. I enjoy it, but I don't love it as much as the truly refreshing citrus freshies. Scent: 7.5 / Sillage: 7 / Longevity: 6.5

Accidentally discovered this brand and this fragrance, smells like a glass of fresh made iced tea with Bergamote! Crisp and uplifting, perfect for summer. Will test again for its longevity and sillage before I purchase it.

This is a beautiful scent. It smells just like juicy oranges. The non orange notes are subtle to me and I smell just a hint of spicyness. The overall vibe is summery, happy and bright.

I LOVE the open and it feels nostalgic, but it dries down to something more masculine and less fresh. It's beautiful, but it doesn't last on my skin (or my clothes). Boo.
