Cedrat Enivrant

Cedrat actually refers to a citrus fruit called Citron rather than Cedar wood as is sometimes assumed. I have not smelled or eaten a Citron Fruit But for all practical purposes to my nose, Citron smells pretty much like Bergamot. Atelier Cologne does Citrus notes better than anybody for my money and Cedrat Envirant is another gem if you are a citrus lover. First hit is all lemony Bergamot and actually smells like one. It has a very nice, green aroma, like the peel of any sweet lime or even our Indian Moosambi. This Green Bergamot note is joined by a herbal accord formed by the basil and juniper and the mint gives it all a bit of bracing freshness. This part of the fragrance lasts quite a while and wearing it on a warm day or most of the year in our Indian climate is pure joy. Just smells very clean and fresh. I dont really get any Tonka bean or elemi listed here. Instead just the bright, slightly sweetish white musk accord that I think Atelier uses in most of their Citrus frags as a fixative base to give them better longevity. Here, it's mixed with some mild vetiver. If you have smelled a few of their creations, you'll know what I mean. I like it so no issues for me. Cedrat Envirant and Orange Sanguine have some overlap so unless you love Citrus frags like me, you might find having both redundant so if budget is limited, I would suggest to go with Orange Sanguine if you like an Orange note better or Cedrat Envirant if you prefer a Bergamot/Grapefruit type note . Otherwise just get both as I love both in my collection. I tend to go with mostly Orange Sanguine for casual wear and Cedrat Envirant for slightly more formal settings but either works. Projection is good for the first few hours without being crazy. Definitely office friendly, it's the kind of clean smelling frag women seem to like. Unless somebody is allergic to lime juice or something, cant see this offending anybody ever. Quite the opposite in fact. Longevity is around the 6-7 hour mark like most of the Atelier Citrus frags on me although people seem to be able to sniff them on me long after I think the frags have gone so do not be quick to assume that longevity is average. All said and done, I love this thing and will always have it in my rotation. Suits our hot, Indian weather beautifully and seriously thinking of investing in the 200 ml bottle. 9/10

I really like all of Atelier's stuff that I've tried (I have a tin container full of 8 different 0.14 oz bottles) in addition to 2 0.14 oz bottles of the Cedre Atlas (equaling 3 in total of it). Cedre Atlas, Bergamote Soleil, and THIS are all amazing to me. It was love at first sniff for all three, which I cannot say the same for the rest I've smelled, but still like them. This doesn't seem too masculine to me at all. It feels like it really could go either way, and if it works with your chemistry, why not? I hate using the word perfect, but I feel like this and Bergamote Soleil together on my skin smell *almost* perfect. I love bergamot, so that could be a reason since it is prominent in both. On a side note, I'm really interested in finding a scent that smells EXACTLY like Earl Grey Tea. I wouldn't mind some lavender and vanilla either ;). I am a huge fan of London Fogs and would just love to smell like one, haha. In Cedrat Envirant, I get way more lime when I spray on me at first than the citron, but it's definitely up there. It makes me think of walking through a citrus grove (lemons, limes, heck, even grapefruit!) with a huge sunhat on and giant bug-eyed glasses...flowy white sundress. I can't wait to wear this in the heat of summer. It's bright and happy, earthy and citrusy, not really cool nor warm, and has a kind of deepness to it that can't always be detected in citrus scents. Maybe it comes from the vetiver, which I love in fragrances. I don't know, I just love it. I have to say that I really love Atelier in general. Something about their overall scent vibe and the simplicity of their presentation is something I'm very drawn to. I am a very outdoorsy person, so perhaps I'm drawn to the very naturalistic notes. I don't find any of their scents to be synthetic-smelling (well, the ones I've tried!).

Cédrat Enivrant is the second Atelier Cologne that I've tested properly, after Orange Sanguine, and they have a lot in common. They're both citrus-centric, they both smell very natural and even realistic without being in the least boring, they're both perfectly unisex, and they're both big hits with me. This scent reminds me a bit of Eau d'Hadrien, at least the general concept is the same: sparkling citrus with a herbal feeling. But this is much stronger: for one thing it lasts a lot longer, and for another the aromatic part is stronger in this one as well, without going overboard and giving a medicinal air to the fragrance. I can smell the juniper but it's not too prominent on me; I don't get the gin & tonic vibe at all. The aromatic notes do come out more as time goes by, but the citrus remains firmly in the foreground; it's just perfectly balanced. I agree with museumgal below me: this fragrance is uplifting, bracing and altogether perfect for waking up. In fact I had a hard time getting out of bed this morning, what with vacation time being really over and the mornings becoming darker again and all, but when I put this on my mood instantly lifted. And it's been up ever since, because now, a couple of hours later, I'm still regularly catching wafts of this intoxicating smell (it really is perfectly named!). That's impressive for any citrus cologne, especially since I only used 2 sprays (one in my neck, one on my wrists). So I guess I found a new summer love, just in the nick of time. I'm glad we got this extra week of almost summery weather in the middle of september where I live, so I got the chance to use my sample in optimal conditions; I think I'm going to have to buy a bottle of this for next summer. I'm looking forward to it!

Atelier Colognes produce the best citrus fragrances in the business, and this one is no exception. It starts off with possibly the most photorealistic lime in a fragrance I've ever smelled. I detect really strong and realistic cedrat and lime, blended perfectly so they are 50/50 in concentration. It smells as if I doused myself in real cedrat and lime juice - in fact I can even smell the rinds. This does not smell like house cleaner or lime/lemon candy or 7Up at all. I was looking for a long-lasting and realistic lime cologne, and this is it. The cedrat and lime notes last surprisingly long for 3-4 hours with the lime dissipating before the cedrat does. There is mint as well in the opening. After 4 hours, I smell the mint, basil and juniper berries - though a trace of citron is still there, persisting. The entire fragrance was based on an alcoholic drink called French 75 made of gin (hence the juniper berries note) and tonic water with cedrat and lime, champagne, and sugar (although this fragrance isn't that sweet at all). Basenotes smell of 'cool green tree sap' in my mind. Sillage is moderate but leaning on the strong side as I get wafts of it repeatedly (even after the 4 hour mark), while longevity is fantastic for a citrus cologne, running at more than 10 hours for me. The fragrance leans masculine but I could see it being unisex. Overall an amazing fragrance, especially due to its natural lime and cedrat notes but also its very good longevity. The bottle though not the most experimental of designs is made from hand-blown French glass and features a leather cap. You can test out all the Atelier Colognes - including their ones for grapefruit, orange, bergamot and so on (all done in a hyperrealistic way) at Sephora or Nordstrom. 5/5

Frederick (Freddy) Harrington lifts the weighted crystal champagne flute to his lips to savour his favourite cocktail, the French 52; fresh lemon juice and sugar with a generous double measure of Plymouth gin, all topped up with Bollinger. He hesitates as inspiration strikes. He grabs a sprig of mint (for the mojito that one of his companions is drinking), crushes the leaves in his bronzed fist and inhales deeply as the broken plant drops into his glass. It is turning out to be the best ever birthday picnic and the day is still so very young. At twenty-one he has already lived a charmed life. A wealthy loving family, a good education and some fine friends are all things that he knows are privileges and blessings. An invigorating breeze blows across the river lifting the pages of books and brims of hats and has several women gasping to save their rising dresses from revealing a little too much thigh. This brief moment of gentle mayhem causes an abrupt chorus of laughter all along the river bank before everything settles back into stillness and calm. The Oxford and Cambridge boat race is about to begin. Freddy raises his face to the sun and his mouth gives birth to the deepest smile to ever grace his beautiful face. His eyes close too late to capture a solitary tear. It makes its escape, runs down his cheek and hangs from his chin where it catches the summer sun. Eternity and the entire universe is held within that glistening teardrop. Gratitude consumes him. This perfect moment, so bittersweet with the heartfelt wish that everyone in the world could know such happiness.

I bought this sample on a whim since I loved how balanced and delicate Bois Blonds was. It sat in the bottom of my drawer for way too long, on account of my nose not liking it in the tube. What a shame! If Bois Blonds was a great spring scent, then Cedrat Enivrant is a smooth summer breeze. I'm sad to be finding this so close to the end of August, as it would have been one of my go-to summer scents. I have fallen for Atelier Cologne hard - every scent is beautifully crafted and super wearable. They are neither too harsh for work wear nor for play, making them great for day-long use or reapplication. Cedrat Enivrant is a sharp and smart citrus scent that has good longevity but doesn't scream at those around you when you walk by. I love every step of the way this scent unfolds - it's gently sweet upon application, and slowly loudens up to its sparkly bergamot - hanging on for 6 + hours. Finally, the mellow down into the tonka gets so comfortable and clean smelling. I had to keep catching a whiff of this while it was on my skin. I'm definitely not averse to adventure—I'll excitedly spritz any avant-garde scents—but this is a very confident, easy, and safe scent to balance out the weird stuff in my collection. If only we knew when AC will be coming back to the US!

I love this scent, but then I am a big citrus fan. I have only very recently within the last month come around to trying anything from this house, Cedrat Envirant was my first and I loved it instantly. So much so that within the space of two weeks I purchased three other fragrances from Atelier Cologne (Mistral Patchouli, Trefle Pur and Rose Anonyme). I think Cedrat Envirant is my favourite so far; possibly because it is my first discovery from Atelier but also because it really does remind me of my most loved cocktail, the French 75. I am looking forward to lazy summer afternoons and warm evenings by the sea with friends whilst wearing Cedrat Envirant; I have had very positive comments from people on the one occasion that I wore it two weeks ago. Perhaps it's because they thought I'd just cleaned the bathroom (some people have commented that the citrus has associations for them with cleaning products) but I'd like to think it's because I smelt sociable and sophisticated. The aesthetic of Atelier Cologne very much pleases me, with the minimalist bottle and block-coloured labels and I am at a loss as to why I have left it so long to fall in love. Maybe it is because I intuited that my wallet would get a lot of action... I already have Oolang Infini on order.

From my personal experience, this is a really beautiful fresh, sparkling, almost photorealistic citrus fragrance with vibrant lime and green herbal notes that stand out straight away. What surprised me the most is how the lime actually stays there even into the drydown, which you don’t often get with this kind of fresh scent. It feels totally unisex and honestly works just as well on both men and women. Performance is another big surprise I easily get around 7–8 hours of longevity, even in +30 heat, which is very impressive for something this airy and citrus-heavy. Projection is actually above average for the first 1.5–2 hours, and the sillage is also really good for a freshie. My wife sprayed it once about 5-6 times, and even an hour later when I walked into the hallway, I could still smell it lingering in the air. It also stays fresh the whole way through, especially when I compare it to some Italian freshies from Xerjoff and Sospiro, which tend to get noticeably heavier once the citrus top notes fade. For me, it’s worth every penny and something I’d happily keep reaching for in the summer heat.

Fresh, Bright, clean. that Authentic realistic Lemon/Citron scent is undeniable, to my noes it doesn't smell like a cleaning product. of course i can see where somebody would draw a connection. The classic scent of Lemon Pledge creeping death in the back of all our heads as we reminisce the last time we fell down those slippery wooden staircases, catching wiffs of lemon along the way. but i think that plagues ALL lemon scents. everyone seems to be... * Sniff sniff "smells fresh, like Lemons" *Neurons firing off "AHA PLEDGE - GET AWAY FROM ME" Edit 25/03/2019 Just wanted to add in just how beautiful this fragrance is. the rich realistic citrus's the Mint and herbals it blends together so well. It was Fairly warm the other day so i Broke this bad boy out. over applied a bit to get it radiating. and wow did i get some solid great compliments.

I must affirm that Cédrat Enivrant, while subtly reminiscent of champagne in my perception, owes this association more to its effervescent opening than a direct olfactory resemblance. The composition exudes a tangy, green essence that practically radiates with refreshing streams of coolness. Undoubtedly, it's a fragrance tailor-made for the summer, appealing to both the youthful and the discerning connoisseur. What's intriguing is that, during conducted tests, Cédrat Enivrant unfolded a slightly different olfactory profile on each occasion. This is a definite plus, as I appreciate fragrances that evolve on the skin, constantly morphing and captivating the wearer with their ever-changing nature. This olfactory creation stands as yet another formidable gem within Atelier Cologne's distinguished portfolio. My rating: Highly recommended! (7/7)

This is a delightful scent which starts with the a pop of citrus (lemon and lime are noticeable), mellows slightly such that you can detect some mint along with the citrus, then stays as such for a few hours before you must reapply. Unless you spray it heavily you won't have much sillage so it's appropriate for all sorts of situations. It's wonderful for the summer in such a clean and zesty way. As with all of the Atelier Cologne scents it smells like actual extracts of the notes, not some fake muddled concoction. As a result, Atelier Cologne fragrances have never given me any fragrance-induced headaches or seemed cheap. They give the feel of a very high quality fragrance for a reasonable (if not inexpensive) price. J'adore!

In North of India during the months of May and June, temperature hovers around 35- 40 Celsius. Those summers are extremely dry and not humid at all. Most of the citrus fragrances won't work then but this one does its job pretty well. 5-6 sprays last for at least 6-7 hours on me. First 2 hours it projects well and then sits close to skin. It is on the bitter side with a woody touch towards the end. It does not smell like a floor cleaner at all to me. I am happy with my purchase, will buy again . It also comes in 30 ml travel pouch which you can carry along with you in case you wish to re-apply. If money is not a constraint , you can always Nio otherwise I strongly recommend it.

Wow! Usually I am too stuck in gourmie land to notice a fragrance such as this but I am really impressed! It's citrusy and bright while still having some depth with a masculine edge. I like that this fragrance is very crisp and manages to dodge that nauseating calone note that many unisex/masculine scents have that sticks in my throat. It reminds me a little bit of dior homme sport 2012 which I am also fond of but this is even better because it smells more natural. It's very pleasant. I think it would make a great gift for a guy or a woman who doesn't care about smelling super feminine. I would like it for myself and I'm giving the rest of the sample for my boyfriend to try.

This cologne is LOVELY! I like it as much as I like Flowerbomb, which is a huge compliment. To me, it smelled deliciously like grapefruit at first, but sweeter, which I guess was the citron. It was remarkably fresh and airy, and clean-smelling. After a little while, the citron/grapefruit gave way to a lavender-y, clean-sheets/cotton, summer-breeze kind of scent, followed by some underlying hints of basil and mint. It lasted allllll day long, and I kept intermittently noticing it on myself every few hours. My colleagues told me they noticed it on me from a few feet away (and loved it!) so the sillage is pretty good and not overwhelming. A favorite and I hope to buy it soon!

What I like about this fragrance is the purity of the scent and the positive effects it brings on your mood; its clarifying, purifying, and eases tension. The tartness of citron and the herbal astringency of basil and mint give a clean, invigorating freshness reminiscent of South East oriental spa. The base of tonka, vetiver and lemony elemi insence are supporting backbone that rounds up and extends the scent to a metallic, sweet, rosy dry down. The scent to me lasts all day with a good 4 sprays. If I feel undecided on what to wear, this will never go wrong.It brings back the summer memories of turquoise seas, white sand, and mojito.

Vibrant tart citrus zest with sweet minty facets over woody soapy musks Quite simplistic but beautiful, what i get here is a very bubbly and zingy top note, half green mint half blistering lime and lemon peel, which wonderfully transition into a smooth soapy base, similar to the bases of most Atelier Cologne citruses, soapy and lotion-like like Clementine California, but greener; woody like Orange Sanguine but leaner. Overall very refreshing, energizing, zingy, a bit boring after the first 2-3 hours when the citrus has entirely dissipated, but surprisingly tenacious on my skin.

Most realistic citrus so I’ve own so far. Smells like freshly squeezed lime. A bit too realistic to some but I LOVE that scent for that reason : the fresh effect truly shines under very hot temperatures, though it turns a bit vanillic (read sweet) in the background... it adds some caracter to the scent. Even the performance is more than decent for a citrus : sure, don’t expect nuclear projection, but it lingers on the skin for a good 5-6 Hours which is a plus for a citrus scent, though is literally a skin scent most of that duration. 8/10

Strange revisiting reviews here. Thankfully More appropriate here than other AT reviews for Pacific Lime et al. I like the Champagne and CK one (or should it be CK Be) analogy. Super sharp tangy and fleshy citron and citrus sweetened and darkened a tad by basil. Tonka and vetiver giving it a blended body of substance perfectly. Very strong, linear and phenomenal longevity that is hard to get in this category. Probably the best Cedrat presentation in a gourmand freshie bar Prin Lomross’ Strangers Perfumerie Yuzu Soda.

This is one of my favorite citrus colognes. It has a very zesty opening, citron has a slightly more sour scent than lemon, at least to my nose. The addition of lime and bergamot gives an enormous burst of citrus. As it begins to settle, mint and basil add some refreshing greenness, I get just a bit of the juniper. The drydown is mainly vetiver on me. I love Atelier fragrances, but most of them have very little longevity. This one is an exception, I get a solid 7 hours from it, an added plus!

When I first opened it, it's not exactly my favorite. Then I leave it in the box for a month or so. After that, first spray feels like sitting among the kaffir lime plants in my mother's backyard, cutting some leaves to be used for cooking. My nose is not very good at noticing scents, so I'm not sure about mint or basil etc. But that kaffir lime skin and leaves? Heavenly. Unfortunately, like other AC citrus I have, the scent disappeared within 3 hours or so.

The initial scent is of a tangy tangerine, very pleasant, and very fresh. After wearing the scent for a few hours I became wonderfully and happily aware that the scent has a nice, soft, sweet, lemony, spicy, flowery texture to it as well. It’s a scent I’d be happy to wear on a regular basis, as it smells so fresh and so fruity. It made me feel new and optimistic today as I left a delicious trail of gorgeousness wherever I walked.

Cedrat Enivrant is a burst of fresh summery lemon and lime. From the moment I put it on I knew I was going to love it. The dry down is a bit of citric, minty, juniper with some vetiver. I keep smelling my shirt from time to time. I can also detect it on my skin and that is unusual with me. Perfect for the spring and summer months. Like all the other Atelier Colognes I own, this one has great staying power, 7-8 hours on me. 10/10

Im a little bit disappointed with my current 200ml bottle of CE. It lacks the depth of the 100ml I bought in 2015, which has a sweet intoxicating body and lasts longer. I feel like the newer one I bought has no base notes/ missing tonka bean sweetness. Does anyone experience batch variations? Was there a reformulation of this? The top notes are the same tho. Maybe my newer purchase has to age/macerate?

Very well made citrus scent with a lot of astringent and refreshing lime. Very longlasting for this kind of fragrance (more than 4-5 hours)) with moderate-good sillage. If you like citrus and natural scents this is a must try. This is less sweet than L'Humaniste (but in the same way) and better than Creed Royal Water (I don't like Creed fragances at all). scent: 7.5/10 lasting: 8/10 sillage: 6/10

This is citrusy goodness in a bottle! Perfect for those hot and wind-still summer days when you need a refreshment, but no pool is in sight. The lime note is beautifully and realistically done, and the star from the opening to mid-drydown. Once dried down, Cedrat Envirant reminds me of a cologne that a sophisticated man would wear, thanks to a lovely and smooth vetiver note.

This was hailed as one of the best fresh fragrances from the brand And I have to agree The citruses here are overwhelming So fresh and very easy to wear The freshness is so real it makes it a treat to wear Longevity is average , projection after the first hour is weak If power in a fragrance is not an issue for you and you like fresh scents give it a go

I just purchased this 3 hours ago, it smells like creamy lime with a touch of mint ice. I love this scent, it is a clear and crisp departure from my normal heavy patchouli bombs. There is an effervescence to this scent, it is like a sparkling creamy lime soda. Atelier Colognes can do no wrong in my book and this scent was a must have for me.

This is one of my most favorite fragrances from AC. I have had the 200ml bottle for over a year and it's nearly done. Unlike the Pomelo Paradis, which has ZERO longevity, on me, this fragrance lasts a very long time. I just makes me happy.

cedrat is a citrus fruit not cedar. there is no ceder in this scent whatsoever. it does not contain ceder guys nor can i smell it either. one of my fav from AC for a pure parfum it is what it says lasts all day subtle projection lingers

This is a refreshing citrus scent, all citron, lime, and bergamot on my skin. It lasts a long time on me, and is a refreshing pick me up. It smells like citrus soda, and is very nice for summer.

It reminds me of a fragrance of back when I was in my teens ,The best time in my life , Friends, events and my child hood friend , I love it and bought a 200 ml , Cheers.

i layer this one with Nio and its freaking awesome.. such a pleasant , long lasting scent.. I got many compliments too.. amazing stuff...

Cedrat Enivtant has basically the same bone structure to Eau de Rochas Homme . Well, a noticable yet minor difference can be easily found, that is Atelier modernizes the base of EdRH by replacing the heavy gloomy oakmoss with a delicate bright minty and fruity note, besides the brasil accord gets amplified in Cedrat Enivrant a little, which makes it more of a younger variant of EdRH. It would not surprise me if there was a duo set to be provided, EdRH for father and Cedrat Enivrant for son. After a while, it comes with a déjà vu about some generic green twist that commonly shared among Burberry Weekend Man, Acqua di Parma Mirto di Panarea, Diptyque L'Ombre Dans L'Eau and even Calvin Klein One. I am not saying anything bad on this drydown... However, @no-fi 's words unforgettably forgettable nailed it. It's (neo)classic and pleasant, but more likely to be redundent provided that EdRH is not discontinued yet. Furthermore if you please, I shall say, no more than 50 US dollars for 100ml would be its reasonable price really. Rating: 5.5/10

A few years ago, when Atelier Cologne first launched at Sephora in the US, I ordered (from their site) a whole bunch of samples for my husband to try. Out of all of them, he picked Cedrat Enivrant, and I think that was a very good choice. It is fresh and inoffensive, long lasting, with a good amount of throw that doesn't overwhelm like some men's cologne. He is not a "beast mode" kind of guy. There's a suaveness to the base especially that doesn't go sweet or feminine IMHO, and the top citruses stay fresh and inviting for a very long time. I would say that this is a good everyday kind of scent, and one of the best of the AC line, of which I have smelled many and loved few. Figuer Ardent is his actual favorite from the house, and the one that he'll wear with the least prodding from me, but he does enjoy Cedrat Enivrant as well. The bottle is lovely, even if it is boring, and it feels very "rich person minimalist" luxurious. The juice is expensive, but I do think that it's a good investment since this isn't your basic men's cologne.

First off I believe this perfume is a well done citrus based scent which is perfect for the warmer days. I especially love the yuzu and bergamot notes which helps balances lime and mint. Furthermore as the fragrance dries down, I get the juniper berries which gives it a citrusy woody sensation. Although, I love the scent, the perfume is not without its flaws. This perfume is the epitome of bittersweet, as in for my experiences with it not the fragrance itself. The scent is actually very well done and doesn't have the synthetic vibe which most citrus based fragrances have. However, the main issue I have with the perfume is the performance on my skin. It struggles to last one hour on my skin and its basically a skin scent throughout the duration its on my skin. Thus, I wouldn't recommend this fragrance unless if you absolutely love the scent or are prepared to regularly apply it throughout the day.

I doubt anyone could actively dislike Cedrat Envirant. As with the closely-related Orange Sanguine from their line, Atelier probably deserve an award for producing something so close to the real eponymous fruit of the fragrance's name as it makes no discernible difference. It's fresh, natural, zesty and perfect for summer lounging by the pool or at the beach. So very nice, but it doesn't quite make it on to my theoretical 'to buy' shortlist if only because, as odd as it sounds, it's too realistic - as in "it's fragrance disguised as a cocktail!" However much I like drinking one, I'm less sure about smelling like one. (Interestingly, I get less of this vibe with Orange Sanguine, my preference of the two, and more so in the drydown.) If you're not bothered by that kind of thing, however, Cedrat Envirant is a no-brainer. I'd invest in the available soap variant, too. Highly recommended.

Cedrat Enivrant Atelier Cologne - Very fresh, bright and real smelling. An amazing mix of bergamot, lemon and lime when first sprayed, very real smelling. Theres that classic soapy note undertone. Would be amazing for daytime in hotter months. More so on the masculine side. I think the woodsy undertone makes it more masculine, but there isn't a distributive woodsy note. I probably wouldn't wear it as a perfume BC it's a bit too fresh and masculine for me, but omg this would be great for body wash, candles, cleaning products etc. It fits very well into the companies product line. I don't think I would buy it, but I might keep a bottle of gifted and use it as room spray. Arms length+Dries down to a typical soapy note. The super fresh bright citrus lasts about 1 hour. Would be good for most ages. It doesn't last very long (less than 6-8 hours) so its way overpriced

I'm not very familiar with citron, thus, what Atelier Cologne Cédrat Enivrant evokes to me is an invigorating concoction of lime and lemon. It's like how my hands smell after slicing into a lime and squeezing the juice: their juicy, zesty, even slgihtly salty pulp, their slightly bitter pith and their aromatic rind are all beautifully and realistically rendered. I can't really distinguish other notes, and Cédrat Enivrant stays linear on me. However, it's nowhere being boring, as lime and lemon here feel so realistic that their own olfactory complexity is successfully recurred. The sillage is soft and the longevity is around 6 hours. Cédrat Enivrant is arguably a very simple citrus fragrance, but such a realistic and natural olfactive representation of lime is not so easy to come by. I'd definitely recommend it as a very natural and versatile lime fragrance.

Atelier Cologne's Cedrat Enivrant is the first of the brand I've tested on skin and it's very pleasant, a fresh combination of citrus (lime, lemon, bergamot) and a soft, woody, musky dry down. A more sophisticated "margarita" vibe than Tommy Bahama Set Sail St Barts, Cedrat Enivrant is dominated by lime on the citrus side, and, as the name suggests, soft cedar on the woody side. The product is an agreeable citrus fragrance that performs decently well, and is a more subtle, refined option than Set Sail St Barts, particularly in that it isn't too sweet. It's always difficult to justify the cost of a cologne type of summer smell when the performance isn't great, considering the $120-for-100ml cost, but this is a nice, subtle, refined example of that smell. A clean, refreshing scent, though. One to try that could be great for both men and women. 7 out of 10

It's true that citrus colognes just aren't my favorite—but I've been trying to appreciate them, to find things to love. But I just can't with this one. There's an aggressive soapiness to the background of this that is just too close to any forgettable men's fragrance. Sure, there's a punch of lime and citron, but I don't find that to be particularly novel, and that is where this perfume begins and ends for me. I've applied a few times, hoping I'd experience some change where I get to an herbaceous middle with mint and basil (two of my faves in fresh colognes!), but it never comes. Perfumes that are reviewed on this site as being “inoffensive” are often the ones I find the MOST offensive. I'm offended by the boredom of this. For clean citrus lovers—sure, go for it. But I'd be surprised if you didn't already have something very similar.... (5/10)

Citron is a note I find very energizing and uplifting. Clean and go-get-it. This was a scent I particularly wanted to try. And it is indeed sharp acid citron right at the start, quite nice. It dries down a bit deeper, and I can spot, from the notes (but would not get there on my own) the lime, mint and juniper right at the back. It fades quite fast unexpectedly. There is a weird note about 30-60 minutes after application which I find dissonant. When people talk of "soapy" smell they usually mean it smells like perfumed soap, lily of the valley, or some floral like scent like fine milled soap. I used to think soap note meant that sharp alkaline note of unscented Marseille or other plain laundry or cleaning bar soap. There is a soap like note here but with that laundry-unscented soap meaning, something sharp and unfloral.

One of the most refreshing scents I've ever smelled. I'm not very familiar with the citron fruit, but the scent is somewhere between a lemon and a bergamot in my opinion. So, tart and juicy and not very sweet. Like in all Atelier fragrances, the citrus notes smell natural and not like some household product. But what really makes this scent so fresh is the addition of mint. It feels almost cooling on the skin, which is neat in the summer. The base is a bit too aromatic and herbal for my taste, as it is the case with many Ateliers. I noticed that it overpowers the fresh notes in cooler weather. Then Cédrat Enivrant unfortunately smells like the stale peppermint tea I drank on school trips in the 90s. This needs some heat to make it sparkle and shine, it really makes a huge difference.

great stuff right here this has everything one would want from a citrusy scent wish list its fresh sweet smooth and bitter but as good as it smell on paper it just doesn't come across the same on my skin projection is minimal and longevity is average at best if it wasn't for the fact that this reminds me a bit of Bond No 9 - Coney Island (which i love) i wouldn't like this at all as a scent but as a room spray i think this would be amazing as it brings back memories of being in south american one cant knock Atelier for its quality but like most houses projection seems to be a issue with summer scent and mainly for that reason it wont be a buy for me on to the next

For what Atelier scents cost I can see why some folks might be put off by this particular product; it is a simple one, a little too simple for the price range of Atelier fragrances. You could put yuzu in front of me and tell me it's citron and I'd believe you, I'm not familiar with these two. So I'm guessing that the main note I'm getting is citron, it surely does not seem to be mint, vetiver or juniper berries. I think I've smelled White Citrus at Bath & Body Works before. That too I can see as comparable to this scent......another reason to pass on this. It's just too simple and it also, to me, just comes a littlle too close to passing as feminine.

Opening is citrus and basil heavy. I can’t recognize the type of citrus, so it must be that citron note, which I’ve not spelled before. It’s tangy, sour, and sweet. The mint is light but shows up a little. I would say that it’s a general green citrus vibe at this stage. The basil can be a touch too strong if you smell it up close, but the sillage is a nice, fresh, and clean aroma. Dry down is an interesting citrusy green vibe. Kind of sweet and hard to describe. It’s pretty good. I can't tell if I like it or not. Might need to try this more to really form an opinion on it.

At first I didn't like this, and thought "Just another summer freshy," and it certainly is, but then the mint kicked in after the citron, extending the citrus and transforming it from a linear scent. It is quite bracing, almost severe initially. I'm impressed by the true Citron note that goes on and on and on. This skews masculine due to the vetiver (which I associate with stereotypical masculine scents), but I might pick up a bottle for myself this summer. I find the silage and longevity moderate, actually the latter moderate-long.
