The opening reminds me of something like Santal 33 but more like Christian Louboutin’s Loubiluna and Moncler only brighter. It then drys down to a Encre Noir. Great suff! Received many compliments from women (some from complete strangers.) -That never happens to me... Too bad it’s no longer available in the states.

Well made woody spicy perfume Not too heavy and not too sweet and smoky citrus hold it not too heavy smell but longevity and sillage is too short..

This is quite similar to TF's new Ebene Flume. (Compared of both drydown) Yeah, they both have papyrus and Guaiac wood. But the TF's one is a litte bit long-lasting than this. Very similar on my nose. Unisex leans masculine. Will love to smell this on men.

It opens with two facets. One is a fruity, herbal-woody vibe that reminds me of the hallmark scent of L'Homme de Coeur by Divine (2002). The other is a resin-fruity-woody note akin to Encens Jinhae (2016), but tuned down quite a bit. In the drydown, it resembles Encre Noire with a touch of a smoky-herbal vibe (or a light interpretation of Encre Noire Extreme, tuned down ISO-E Super to be specific). It's like someone, standing in front of you, trying to layer Encre Noire with Gucci Pour Homme (2003)—or its successors Bentley for Men Absolute (2014) or even Ébène Fumé by Tom Ford (2021), which filter out the oriental vibe. Rating: 7.0/10 I also found that its drydown closely resembles La Pausa (EDP version) by Chanel, but without the floral vibe. Both seem to use ambrette—not officially listed though—to introduce a creamy, powdery note that smooths the dry woody base.

I like its red wine scent. but not sure if it is a good scent to put on your body if you accept that, it will be ok. and its kinda overpriced

@hwc12300, I agree with you 100%. Fragrance prices are truly ridiculous these days. But ... you know the saying: if they package it nice, market it right, (some) people will happily pay through the nose. Or words to that effect.

Almost 80% similar to Encre noir. But the price of this thing really scared me. Do these brands think our money is blown by the wind?
