Therefore, it is interesting for me to follow the products of different brands that have introduced Neroli as the main feature of the perfume. But so far the closest scent to the scent of neroli, in my opinion, is related to Grand Neroli. I suggest those who are interested in Neroli scent to try this Eau de cologne. Maybe in terms of projection and longevity, it is not as well as perfume and extrait perfumes, but considering the name of Eau de Cologne, I think it has a reasonable durability. Neroli is one of those notes I can never get enough of, and Atelier Cologne must be one of my favourite perfume houses, especially for summery citrus fragrances, so it's no surprise that Grand Neroli is straight up my alley. It starts off with a blast of sunny, bright citrus, natural and unsweetened, nicely bitter from the bergamot and petitgrain. Perfectly unisex and very refreshing! In the end it evolves into a lovely realistic neroli, again not at all sweet, but a little nutty like a real blossom, which is enhanced by the galbanum note. The transition between these two phases is lovely as well, as both aspects of the fragrance go together very well and the bitter/green elements in each phase tie it together wonderfully. There's only one problem, and it's a common one for this brand and probably this type of light, transparent summer colognes in general: it's really very short-lived. The entire evolution takes about an hour, and after that it becomes a skin scent that requires close attention to be noticed at all. Which can be a good thing in certain situations, but be prepared to reapply if you want to enjoy this one throughout the day.

I have been searching for a fragrance like this for ages, and finally here it is! This is honestly the gem in the Atelier line if you ask me. A perfect old-fashioned style cologne composition. Though I do not believe it contains labdanum, this is what I would characterize as a perfect old style chypre. Top notes are citrus and neroli, but not overwhelmingly so-- there's a soft quality to the opening that is lovely. The middle note is resinous and slightly medicinal, definitely the galbanum, all floated on top of a lovely coumarinic base of mild vanilla, not in the least bit gourmand but just soft enough. The combination is perfect. To me this is quite similar to Cologne by Etat Libre D'Orange, another old fashioned composition. I like this one better though, as there's some kind of sulphurous note in the Etat composition that doesn't agree with me. The only thing I will give low marks for is longevity and sillage. Oh how I wish they would do an intense formulation or an EDP, because this could be about twice as strong.

Most excellent. I sometimes have trouble with orange blossom (too sweet in some fragrances...), but am always on the lookout for an excellent neroli. This is a true neroli, nice and smooth. It lasts a good 5 hours and is complemented well by lime. Attracted plenty of complements, too! I also have Pacifica Nerola Orange Blossom and would say that it's quite similar to Grand Neroli, except the Pacifica version is a little more woody/twiggy. I must also say that this is a very calming fragrance, appropriate for any time, season, or occasion.

I have no idea what the current quality of Atelier Cologne perfumes is, but I have had a sample of Grand Neroli for years and today, when the sun and a higher temperature have come, I decided to use it again... Just wanted to say that this is one of the best neroli perfumes I've ever smelled: not at all synthetic, with great deepness and exquisite facets that take it away from a solinote perfume, long-lasting without being invasive... in short, simply delightful and absolutely recommended!

On paper I definitely get the comparison to ELDO Cologne. Also reminds me of Guerlain Cologne du Parfumer and Creed Neroli Sauvage which is more of a citrus cologne style. On skin I don't really get much neroli, but the fresh lemon really stands out and I would also compare it to Eau de Rochas Homme. Almost lemon candy. Maybe a more fitting name would be Grand Limon.. Incredible scent in the classic cologne style. I just hope it lasts longer than ten minutes...

If you love neroli, welcome to paradise. Grand Neroli is the creamiest, freshest, richest, most well-executed neroli out there. The only thing that could even match this, MAYBE, is Neroli Sauvage by Creed. There's a few notes here and there in this one, but for the most part it's all neroli, all the time. And it lasts quite a while, like the other Atelier scents. An amazing tribute to the central note of Eau de Cologne.

To me, Grand Neroli is a sweet, green, lemony scent that strongly reminds me of Fruity Pebbles cereal. It is the definition of a clean, green, sunshiney citrus fragrance. I consider it to be slightly more feminine than masculine, but it still fits as a unisex fragrance. Grand Neroli is not the most original or unique of Atelier Cologne's offerings, but it is very likeable and easy to wear.

To me this is mood-boosting and energising like many of the Atelier colognes, I love it. Grand Neroli starts green and fresh with a sweetish lemon citrus and is quite woody also. After a few minutes, neroli/orange blossom becomes more prominent and lingers for a while together with the softest musk and vanilla. It doesn't project too much but that's fine. It's lovely.

Very similar to Neroli Portofino, 4711, and other Neroli themed colognes. Very bright, natural, refreshing neroli with some added depth that doesn't take away from it's refreshing personality. Love it...but is it different enough if you have the other Neroli frags? Scent: 8 / Sillage: 6.5 / Longevity: 6.5

This neroli is very good. This is fresh citrus and green notes which I love. If you like those notes a 30 Mill bottle is definitely worth the 70 bucks. Plus the company was helpful and shipping was fast. This fragrance is great for summer and spring.

If you like fresh, clean and green neroli scents - try Mugler Cologne. It's unisex, as well as being far less expensive. Currently, you can get a 300 ml bottle of Mugler Cologne for $89 or less. ** Update, 1.5 years later ** I was going through some samples, fished out Grand Neroli, tried a dab on my skin and thought "wow! this is some good stuff". After a couple more dab tests, I knew I had to have a bottle. I'm a huge fan of Neroli and own both Neroli Portofino and Mugler Cologne as well. Yes, they're all Neroli based but each has their own tilt on the ingredient. Mugler Cologne is more fresh and green, like out-of-the-shower clean, Neroli Portofino is more fresh and laundry clean, like Spray-N-Wash and Grand Neroli is fresh as well, just far more citrusy than the other two. When you first spray Grand Neroli, there is a very light and sugary lemon. The lemon starts to fade very quickly into a pleasing, fresh, light orange blossom. While the lemon still plays faintly in the background, the fresh orange stays to the forefront. If I were to pick out another note in the background, I'd say there is a VERY, VERY light powdery scent and maybe that adds to the fresh and clean vibe. I don't smell vanilla or anything aromatic. Overall, the fragrance is dominated by a light pleasing orange. If you're going to buy any of the three, there are two things that you'll have to consider: Neroli type and budget. As I've indicated above, do you want fresh and green, fresh and clean or fresh and citrus? From there, consider the price points: Neroli Portofino is the most expensive, followed by Grand Neroli and then Mugler cologne. When it comes to projection and longevity, Grand Neroli is far stronger than I thought it was. At times I thought I could barely smell it, however, it was almost overwhelming to those around me. Mugler and Neroli Portofino are about equal, being moderate in both categories. I consider Grand Neroli, Neroli Portofino and Mugler Cologne all to be 10/10 in a rating scale as both a Neroli fragrance and overall among all fragrance genres.

Grand Néroli is what Atelier Cologne does best - a radiantly fresh citrus scent made with high quality ingredients. It is soft and well-rounded instead of being sharp, and has better performance than almost any other citrus-dominant scent from this line. It also evokes memories for me of Italian holidays from childhood. GN opens with bright, juicy lemon with darker bergamot keeping it from being too harsh. But it is all about the neroli - creamy, floral, orangey goodness. It reminds me of Serge Lutens Fleurs d'Oranger, but is cleaner and less indolic while retaining the richness. The neroli-citrus accord is bolstered to perfection with lush green notes. Woody petitgrain and some hazy galbanum give the effect of freshly-cut grass in the background. As it dries down, a clean musk note blurs the edges nicely, adding a slight animalic edge that gives GN some interest at this stage. Some restrained vanilla adds smooth sweetness, prolonging the scent on my skin. The vanilla is an inspired addition here. Sillage and longevity are moderate - much better than most other Atelier Cologne scents I've tried. Feminine-leaning in my opinion due to the florals and soft sweetness, this is a great day scent for warm weather. Good quality and well-composed, but not as creative nor acutely beautiful as some of the more fleeting Atelier Cologne scents. Still, an excellent green-neroli scent with decent performance. The Amalfi coast in a bottle. 4/5.

my love for neroli started when i first smelt neroli portofino and since then i have been open to trying any neroli based scent so trying this one was a given but unfortunately this one like some of the other natural smelling Ateliers stuffer from projection & longevity issues which sucks because if it wasn't for that this one would be a keeper atelier - grand neroli opens with a o so natural blast of neroli bergamont & lemon followed by some musk & oak moss which i assume is what gives it a almost dark and dirty undertone (which is nice) id say this is one of the finer smelling neroli scents on the market today it can definitely hold its own against Creed - Neroli Sauvage & Tom Ford - Neroli Portofino based on smell alone but like stated before it fails only when comparing to the projection and longevity of these two powerhouse scents if your into neroli as much as i am give this one a go on to the next ps anyone who is familiar with creed - original vetiver should definitely try this as i find it to be very similar (at its opening) but just with a softer tone

A pleasant neroli-dominant fragrance with a few other elements mixed in, Atelier Cologne Grand Neroli is another nice warm-weather-friendly entry from the house. The other relevant notes are the citrus mix in the opening (I get more bergamot than lemon) and vanilla/musk in the dry down. Grand Neroli is still a safe neroli, not a smack-you-in-the-face neroli like the Tom Fords, but its sweeter dry down does slightly distinguish it from some of the others. Like the other Ateliers, performance is is not bad, but not very good, either---modest projection and longevity. Not among the most unique or daring neroli fragrances, Grand Neroli is nonetheless another pleasant option from Atelier Cologne that could be used in a variety of situations but would surely shine most in the summer, perhaps outdoors. A pleasant scent but with the performance issues, it's another Atelier that one needs to like a lot in order to spring for, at the usual pricing, but Grand Neroli seems to be much cheaper on BeautySpin and FragranceX: under $80 for 100ml. 7 out of 10

A typical classic neroli cologne with added citrus notes. Grand Neroli works best when it's hot and not just slightly warm - in high temperatures (30°+) it's super refreshing and the soft, gentle, only slightly sweetened base of vanilla and musk gets a chance to shine through the neroli and citrus. In milder weather it smells more like those refreshment towels you often get in Turkish restaurants, so not unpleasant, but nothing you'd want a full bottle of. This goes on with a blast and strong projection, but becomes a skin scent within an hour. I'd say neroli colognes are unisex in general, but this leans slightly feminine as it's more on the floral side. The bitter accents of galbanum and oakmoss are hidden well. Grand Neroli is quite pretty in the heat, but nothing I need in my collection. Maybe it is more exciting for connoisseurs of the "cologne a la 4711" genre, which I am not.

Paper and skin-tested a number of neroli fragrance (including Neroli Portofino) and eventually chose to add this to my collection. The neroli I get from this fragrance is so fresh, bright and rich but never overly dominant. There are always a hint of floral scent at the back to balance the citrus. There is also some sort of sweetness in the dry down which gives this fragrance a lil bit of layer, a lil bit more fun to put on. Compared to the TF Neroli Portofino, the Grand Neroli might lack a bit of power, in terms of both projection and lasting power. However, I prefer the smell of the Grand Neroli more. Given the price differential between the two fragrances, I'd rather get the scent that I like the smell more and either apply more or re-apply during the day.

Nothing real exciting here. It's nice and I like it... is there such a thing as a neroli soliflor? If so, this is an example of one. I don't smell anything here other than citrus (but it's a good citrus!) and an undefined "green" note. No, it doesn't last long on my skin. I didn't expect it to. It's good for an hour or so, which is pretty standard for colognes and citrus-based scents. It does not smell like Spray and Wash, which is what the sharper and more pungent Tom Ford Neroli Portofino is for me, so this neroli is a success! Would I buy a bottle? No. I'd opt instead for Eau Sauvage, which is a more refined and longer lasting citrus scent. Or Terre d'Hermes Eau Tres Fraiche, which has the same vibe and decent longevity.

This is a very likable and easy-to-wear neroli cologne with a really nice silage and decant staying power. In "Grand Neroli" I also get loads of lemon, in this creation lemon appears bitter and sugary at the same time which I find very interesting, it's like lemon peels covered in sugar, it also helps to enhance the lemon sourness. Petitgrain is also very prominent making the opening rather green, but of course it all evolves around freshly sweet neroli. I find "Grand Neroli" to be suitable for both sexes and for everyday use, not exclusively a summer fragrance, but very close to it. Very non-offensive. Perfect blind buy for citrus and classic cologne lovers.

Opens very fresh with soapy neroli being backed up by a nice sharp and bright lemon flavor, mainly the peal. After 30 minutes, the lemon dissipates and the neroli blends with the galbanum and musk and at this stage the fragrance is beginning to stay close to the skin. I find the musk to be dominant after about two hours, making it not worthy of the "Grand neroli" name. By this time is only noticeable up close and will stay that way until it dies. It stayed on my skin for a merely 5 hours. While the first hour is pretty good, it loses my interest after that and there are definitely better neroli scents out there. Scent: 7/10 Longevity: 5/10 Projection: 3/10

I just received seven Atelier fragrance samples. I'm not very familiar with this brand and am excited to try these and share my thoughts. First up is Grand Neroli. Grand Neroli is a bright and green citrus fragrance with lots of neroli, of course, along with lemon and bergamot. I get the Fruity Pebbles vibe that others have talked about, but I like that. I wish I could smell more of the oakmoss because that is a note I usually enjoy. There is some soft vanilla in the dry down. Overall, it's a nice, fresh fragrance, but it doesn't last very long at all.

TF - Neroli Portofino can fuck off in comparison. So crisp, so green, so refreshing. Don't wear this when it's warm, wear this when it's hot, 26 and up. Not a totally pure, photorealistic neroli scent, like you would expect from Atelier but everything that's added compliments and blends well; a bitter bergamot, Italian lemon, petitgrain + oakmoss in the base and an amber that works to soften everything up a touch. Lasts for a good amount of time, approx 4 hours before completely gone but considering the fact that this is an EDC, it's okay.

I get quite a lot of sugary lemon along with green neroli and bitter petitgrain in the opening of Atelier Cologne Grand Néroli. The neroli and lemon then gradually diminish while the scent evolves into a creamy, slightly salty musk, and actually quite warm compared to the fresh opening. The sillage is soft and longevity is around 6 hours. I find the contrast of the sensual drydown and the fresh opening of Grand Néroli quite interesting. If you happen to look for a citrus cologne with a slight twist, you may want to give Grand Néroli a try.

This is an extremely well balanced Neroli fragrance. I love neroli but find that many perfumers wield it with abandon and the end result can be a little harsh on the nose. Atelier balance it out beautifully with citruses and the barest touch of amber and vanilla, which lets the neroli shine, but does not over power it. I tend to be a bit heavy handed with application, but the result is that I always get compliments so the sillage is good. I get a good 5 to 6 hours of bright neroli/citrus on my skin.

Super bright, fresh, and very wearable. I’ve never been to Italy but I imagine this is what the Amalfi Coast smells like! This is very unisex, I like it on myself and would like it on a man as well. It has terrible longevity, even for a “cologne intense” — on my skin it fades within 2 hours. I bought it on sale at Saks Off 5th and that makes it easier to deal with needing to respray often. I think this will be an easy go-to for the warm season but I don’t think I would repurchase it.

With a name like 'Grand Neroli' I was expecting a 'mother of all neroli fragrances in the universe!' But what we have here is a delicate neroli, refined and less harsh and green. I have to say this is a beautiful composition. You can find many fragrances with a stronger neroli note. But I don't think you can find too many with such a precious scent. So far sillage seems to be soft and longevity on the weaker side(I didn't spray too much so maybe I'm wrong).

A decidedly masculine neroli. The green chypre aspects of this fragrance really balance the flagrantly floral neroli note. Instantly uplifting, with an initial neroli-bergamot blast, the fragrance dries down to a heavier petit grain, oakmoss, galbanum base. Oh how I wish I could wear it, but the base feels a bit too masculine on my skin. My fiance, on the other hand, is more than happy to wear this new-found gem and I love to smell him in it!!!

The neroli note in here is gorgeous, reminding me of the essential oil. Right after spraying, Grand Neroli smells like a typical Eau de Cologne, just a bit stronger and slightly sweet. This zesty and fresh opening of the fragrance is my favorite stage. Around half an hour after spraying, I mostly get sweet, musky wafts. At this point, the fragrance has lost its initial citrusy magic and the neroli is also not that grand anymore...

Neroli is one of my favorite notes. I really like it here in Grand Neroli because I find it soft and fresh with a hint of sweetness from the yummy vanilla. Interestingly the dry-down in Grand Neroli smells very much like the dry-down of the very affordable Avon Herve Leger Femme, minus the woody notes that HL has. GN is probably my 2nd favorite Atelier right next to Orange Sanguine.

Tart and slightly bitter orange peel on my skin, incisive and green, this cuts through murky senses and is mood enhancing in the way that essential orange oil is. There's a pleasant rounding out which happens ten or so minutes after application, the amber, musk and vanilla very, very quietly soften the edges but essentially this is a neroli soliflore cologne, great for summer.

Refreshing, beautiful cologne style with a hint of Neroli. Smells so natural and lovely. Too bad it's gone before you can even ask someone: Do I smell good? Seriously, diluted to the max, even more so than Pomelo Paradis. That one had a terrible silage and lasting power too, despite being very nice. It's sad. Considering it's far from cheap, not a recommended blind buy.

I love the opening of this, it's very fresh and citrusy, with a greenness to the neroli, but as it begins to dry down I like it less. Amber and vanilla are not scents that I wear well. However, I felt that my neroli collection would not be complete without it, and I'll wear it occasion. For anyone who doesn't have a problem with those notes it's a good quality neroli.

A fresh, cooling scent that supports the central note of neroli with citrus and bitter green notes. I don't detect the vanilla, but it must be contributing to the creaminess I get from this. I can't say how it compares to similar offerings because I don't have a lot of experience with this scent profile, but I enjoy it and think that the elements are well-balanced.

Fresh and invigorating opening, I get more of the green bergamot and bitter petitgrain. The sweet flowery neroli follows, but it's not dominating the blend, who continues to stay more fresh than flowery. It dries to a typical Atelier's musky base. Great sparkling opening with mediocre heart and base. Scent: 7.5/10 Longevity: 5/10 Projection: 3/10

To me this is a nice, fresh, inoffensive perfume. It does not remind me in any way of Tom Ford Neroli. To my nose it is like Christian Dior Dune. I can imagine this being very refreshing on a warm summer's day. If you like a fresh lemony scent this is for you.It is not really my thing I much prefer the richness of Tom Ford Neroli.

This is very beautiful! Woody, "deep green", neroli fragrance. I get quite a bit of lemon and bergamot here as well. I would say it is not plain neroli smell. It is smell of a whole blooming orange tree - blossom, leaves and tree bark. Must try for neroli lovers! Very well done!

Light airy floral citrus. Has an almost candied lemon quality, the green and resinous notes help to create a more sophisticated profile. Great for any citrusy green lovers. Great for the office/daily wear in the warmer seasons. Reminds me of shampoo from Lush UK

I love the Neroli in this scent. It's citrus notes are non offensive and pleasantly cheerful. The other notes are subtle, being hard to determine what exactly the ingredient is. It does have a fair amount of a green scent, making it very fresh.

It smells pretty much exactly like the wet napkins they give you on airplanes. Fresh, green, breezy and light. A wonderful summer/hot month fragrance. 7/10

Started out with a bang... pure orange peel! An hour later, all I could smell was musky vanilla & an hour after that, it was gone *sigh*

Similar to Neroli Portofino, but more citrusy and radiant. I like it honestly.

First blast of sweet sweet neroli and lemon with a faintly darker and bitter herbaceous twist at the end. That might be the oak moss. On my skin, the dank bitter note starts to overtake the citrus in the dry down and I do not like it. I prefer MMM's Under the Lemon Tree as that one is bright and zingy with no dark notes. Unisex and best for warm weather days. 6+ hours later: A fresh scent is there but I'm not willing to wait out the bitter oak moss.

This starts nice, bright, and sharply fresh, but it turns just very bitter and conventional on me. Nothing to hold my interest and I couldn't make it past 30 minutes before scrubbing it off. Considering all the love for this scent, I feel I must be missing something. I'll have to give it another test when I have more patience.

Expensive 4711 Maurer & wirtz, nothing more. Its a shame.

I'm glad that I went out of my way to test Grand Neroli. Admittedly I'm more of an orange blossom fan, however I find myself gravitating towards neroli whenever I crave something more green, citrusy or bitter. Atelier's Grand Neroli is all three of those things, making it the perfect scent for a hot Summer day. This fragrance opens with a crisp and refreshing burst of citrus. You can tell straight away that this fragrance uses natural, quality ingredients. It doesn't have that chemical undertone that many mainstream citrus scents have. Many years ago I would play under the orange trees in my backyard, peeling back the rind and eating orange after orange. I remember that bitter, slightly green smell of the tree, and the shiny surface of the leaves. Grand Neroli captures that nostalgic, very personal moment for me. It's a beautiful memory. The citrus top notes are relatively short-lived, as Grand Neroli develops into a slightly masculine, green and woodsy chypre. It's still quite a fresh fragrance, however the oakmoss, musk and galbanum give Grand Neroli a deep, aromatic vibe. I was a little concerned when I saw vanilla and amber listed in the base notes, but thankfully they weren't all that noticeable. There is the tiniest hint of creamy vanilla, but the note is in no way sweet or overwhelming. As you would expect from a cologne, Grand Neroli's longevity is average. It acts as more of a refreshing spritzer, one that is not intended to last the whole day. My advice would be to decant some into a travel atomiser for when you're out of the house, and spritz away.

A few of the Atelier Cologne "concentrated colognes"--or whatever they are called--feature detectable neroli notes, so I gather that the creative team loves neroli. This particular entry, GRAND NEROLI, is obviously intended to be a virtual neroli soliflore--and it really is. I tried and tried to come up with some other note possibilities, but all I could detect was a greenish neroli. So maybe some green notes along with neroli? I thought. The official notes include galbanum and moss, so that's the green. But there's also birch, vanilla, white amber (not even sure what that is...), and an opening blitz of citrus: lemon, petit grain, neroli, and bergamot. To me, GRAND NEROLI smells like a fine neroli cologne, no more and no less. It's more refined than 4711, obviously, and less loud and penetrating than Tom Ford NEROLI PORTOFINO. So, yes, this is a good neroli cologne, but that's about it. I feel somehow that I am missing something when I see all of these rave ratings. I mean, folks: it's a neroli cologne, after all. How excited can I get?

such a pleasing fragrance, a beautiful fragrance, i used to have an orange blossom type fragrace an oldie called sanborns which this reminds me of ..don't know if many have smelled that very old fragrance, grand neroli is just gorgeous and refreshing , such a clean open air type fragrance, just feels like you just opened up the french doors on a wondeful breezy spring day. wow..love this one.would smell wonderful on a man or a woman. but i do get a masculine type of aura to it, so clean and refreshing, makes you feel very clean and well kept.. it was a purchase for me. thumbs up, very nice fragrance..a lot of compliments on just a pleasing clean fragrance made up of quality components that is for sure.. orange sanguine is also a very nice fragrance to look at, will sample some of their other products for sure now. earth pleasing..smells so natural of earthly elements..if angels wore fragrance..becoming one of my favorites..

I have tested Neroli Portofino several times and I own 4711. This fragrance is probably comparable to these 2. However, there is of course a big quality difference between 4711 and the other 2. This smells closer to TF than to 4711. A very good Neroli fragrance, almost about as good as Neroli Portofino and I consider that one to be the best Neroli fragrance. However, it doesn't last as long as Neroli Portofino, and Neroli Portofino is known for its weak longevity. So I see no reason to pick this over Neroli Portofino, except the price. I slightly like TF more though. It's not as sophisticated as TF. Fresh and floral, uplifting and I'd say it leans slightly towards the masculine side. If there wasn't Neroli Portofino, I'd give this a love. It's only a like. It's easy to wear, inoffensive and you can't go wrong with it during spring or summer.

I like this Neroli, and more to the point, it seems to like me. Many of the reviews have said it lacks longevity, yet it sticks to my skin like bewitching zesty, tantalizing attractor glue, full of bitter citrusy sparkles for a good hour, and rolling indecently around for hours afterwards in a soft, orange blossomy, feathery muskiness. There is a barely perceptible yet impossible to ignore reminiscence of walking through dew laden mossy woodland, like the remnants of a dream. Suddenly, the whole perfume disappears suddenly, as if a switch were flicked off. An overnight sensaton, a multifaceted golden jewel of a cologne, A polished amber full of bugs, fern and twinkle, a multi layered soliflore which still remains unquestionably Neroli, I find it irresitible. Thankyou Atelier, this is going to be another piggy-bank breaker.
