Musc Impérial

I think the reason this is my favorite Atelier Cologne and in my top 5, is because I love great fig fragrances like Philosykos, but this is so much more. This would be my favorite fig fragrance, and I have tried most of them. MI has so many aspects that are enjoyable, all in one. I like it for myself, and it's an attractive fragrance, plenty of compliments. I think the greatest fragrances have contrasts, light and dark, fresh and warm. Musc Imperial has a slightly bitter green fig with a smooth ambrette/ leather accord, very aromatic, balanced with a fresh and fruity bergamot, black current. I could tell how my girlfriend reacted to this new fragrance that she thought it was an attractive fragrance; I think because of the leathery ambrette musc accord, and the crisp exotic fruity accord. Musc Imperial is my solid signature fragrance now, better than Aventus! For chilly Fall and Winter it won't be my signature, but still enjoy it occasionally in colder weather. How many people would use Aventus as their signature fragrance if it was 1/3 the price? I thought my review isn't going to talk about Aventus, but I'm going to talk about Aventus. What makes it like Aventus ? It is the black current and musk. The musk or ambrette (musk mallow) is a plant extract that smells musky with a metallic tone. I think Aventus may use ambrette for their musk note. Aventus and Musc Imperial have a distinct metallic tone that makes these two fragrances similar, and the black current, fig accord is mimicking a fruity pinapple. It took me a while, but I am picking up on the fig note. After ambrette musc, it is the second most dominant note, and it is a very good quality fig note. The fig is well rounded, bitter green leaf, fig tree, and fruity fig. After using this for a week as my new signature frag, I thought I will spray Aventus on my other hand and compare. Wow! I will not be getting Aventus any more. Musc Imperial has more punch and pizzaz. The sillage is stronger. The fruit accord in MI has a slight bitter green quality from the fig I guess, which I like, but some will not. This is more mature and complex than Aventus, the quality of notes is equal, and longevity is at least as good if not better. I think the 30 and under crowd will still prefer Aventus. The more I use this, the more it is becoming it's own fragrance. It is more green than Aventus, I am getting some leather making an accord with the musk, and a bit of lavender softness. PS, just remembered this allso smells like Hermes Un Jardin Mediterranee. MI is more natural with better quality notes than Hermes. Rating: 10/10 God bless. John 3:16

I thought it was a very good launch of Atelier Cologne, which already had a few a bit bland, as it somehow. It is a perfume that opens with citrus and bergamot and is quickly mixed with a fruity tone, which gives blackcurrant and especially the fig, which I think is the keynote of the fragrance and endures throughout life the same. In drying a very soft leather note subtle and sometimes hard to detect appears. All on a soft background woody and musky. Especially at the start and at some later time (even less) in which the leather is perceived, it reminds a little to Creed Aventus, being more rounded Atelier and less sharp edges, as less shrill, but this makes it perhaps something less flashy, more understated and quiet. No smoking Aventus aspect, I personally do not like too much and generally think it is better achieved than Creed (yes, you read it correctly) and with better price... This Musc Imperial, is a perfume to apply with joy, many sprays, the style so typical of the brand, type "Eau de Cologne", but with a 15% concentration (equivalent, more or less, an Eau de parfum). Longevity is very good, and can be detected in the skin more than 8 hours later, although the sillage, after passing a very good 2-3 hours is rather short and more close to the skin. Maybe a bit expensive (195 €), well, it's really expensive, perhaps too much for what it is, though it comes in the form of 200ml, with 30ml gift in a steamer trip another fragrance to choose, with the housing customizable leather. I see very versatile, perhaps better for hot weather, summer, etc .. and for all types of use, such as office and even party. Versatile enough and totally unisex. Come on, like almost everything of this brand, I see it as an appropriate and very distinctive fragrance, but above all, designed for a regular wear, daily use, office, etc ... In my opinion, it could well be the perfume "signature" for many people and I'm totally agree with @bet85 Excellent !!!

Musc Imperial is a fascinating freshie, and the name doesn't give much of an idea of just how musky it is, because it isn't that musky on my skin. Certainly musk is in the mix but it's more in the background for me. My experience of it is a mix of Creed's Aventus and Virgin Island Water, the fruitiness of blackcurrant and the sweetness of fig almost coming off as a pineapple and coconut mix. I'm pleased by the fig in that respect, as it's usually not my preferred type of sweetness, but it works very well here. Lavender is a listed note and could certainly be part of the mix, keeping it clean, but I don't get much of it. The base of cedar and musk is a safe cushion for the fragrance to dry down to, though on my skin, Musc Imperial doesn't evolve all that much. It remains the harmonious blend of citrus, blackcurrant, fig, and musk. This is certainly more of a warm-weather fragrance and is not such a strong performer that I'd use it in the winter, but it's very pleasant for casual wearing year-round, performance notwithstanding. It's more on par with the freshies than the stronger fragrances like Oud Saphir or Rose Anonyme. Musc Imperial seems to have temporarily disappeared from the market, and that's perhaps because it's in the exclusives line and Atelier Cologne itself only has the 30ml size in stock. Through YouTube I learned the pricing is $85 for 30ml, $150 for 100ml, and $225 for 200ml, so it's in the range slightly above most of the Atelier freshies. I'd certainly recommend checking this out as a potential alternative to Aventus, not because it smells truly like Aventus but because it's similar enough that some are bound to like it more than Aventus. 8 out of 10

The perfumer may have been trying to make a fragrance similar to Aventus, for sales and marketing reasons. But he made his own unique interpretation of Aventus here, so it's, it's own fragrance. What I don't like about clones, when they try to be, as exact a copy as they can; They cheapen your experience of the good stuff. Like Cool Water was so close to Creed, Green Irish Tweed, but with far inferior notes and performance. When I wore Green Irish, it reminded me of the cheap cool Water, and it lessened my appreciation for Green Irish Tweed. You don't get that with Musc Imperial. It's not trying to be an exact copy. So you may like it more than Aventus, as I do for casual wear. It is fresher, and has fig, as a main note. It is a great fragrance on it's own. I love Aventus also. It is still fresh enough for Summer, yet it's a bit darker and classier, than Musc Imperial. This did not strike me as sweet the first year I used it, now I do notice it's quite sweet, but it's there to soften the vegetal Musc I think. So as I don't like sweet frags, this feels fine.

I may be in the minority, but I actually enjoy this more than Aventus. Maybe it's because I'm a woman and this fragrance is has more traditionally feminine and unisex notes compared to the masculine Aventus. This is like Aventus with the zingy pineapple toned down, as well as little to no birch and ambergris. Instead, Musc Impérial feels smoother, not sharp, but rounded and gently buffed down with the milky fig and soft leather. It's also greener smelling than Aventus, probably due to the sage and fig leaf notes. This does indeed have the same structure and feel as Aventus, but with different notes. Aventus opens up much more zesty, bright, and fruity, whereas Musc Impérial does have a bergamot tanginess but it is muted by some creamy fig. This basically smells like a mixture of Aventus and Philosykos by Diptyque, two contrasting fragrances that happen to be among my favorites.

This used to be my favorite Atelier Cologne, I still have a lot of respect for it as one of their best compositions. I also didn't get the musc so much the first year, I knew it was a vegital musc, ambrette. Now my nose has changed, or its picking up notes more accurately. This is a Musk Bomb to me now. I like naturals most, like many Diptyque fragrances. But this has this overwhelming anamalic musk, and Im not so into that. As far as musks go, its not like a vintage Caron Le 3rd Man, raunchy musk. It is nicely blended into an accord with the clary sage, fig and cedar, and some bergamot. It is a fresh musk, and its like Aventus, but it doesn't feel like its trying to be a clone. Musk, like the name, is the dominant note, and makes it unique from Aventus. It's a fresher Aventus also.

I'm quite a big fan of this fragrance. It is reminiscent of Aventus, but not a straight up clone. Think of Musc Imperial as a lighter, perhaps more unisex version of Aventus. Gone is the birch, and instead green notes and fig take center stage. If you've never smelled Aventus, this is essentially a light and fruity musk fragrance. Fig, black currant, and musk are the main stars in this composition. The fig is not an earthy fig, but more of a bright, green fig note. This is wonderfully clean, and a perfect signature fragrance for the summer. If you like fruity, bright scents but want something that isn't dominated by citrus notes, this is a very good option. Certainly a compliment getter in the summer, if that's your thing.

This is a little masculine and sharp in the opening, but quickly settles into a juicy, fruity musk. I had my husband smell it, and he said "That's GOOD!". I asked if he wanted some because it's unisex, and he said it was better for me...which means he's attracted to it. I think this is subtly sexy on it's own, but could easily be one to layer with other freshies. I get whiffs of myself when I move around, and it not too much, but it's a little pheromone-y and can be strong on the skin (but doesn't project like a beast) until around the 3 hour mark, when it softens significantly and melds into your skin becoming a hugging scent. I really do get some currant, and adore it. The combo with fig is very sensual and *adult*.

OMG the number of compliments I've received when I've worn this fragrance. A compliment EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. For me, this is not as much musk as it is fig and cedarwood. Two of my favourite notes, and the reason I adore Philosykos by Diptyque. Musc Imperial and Philosykos are however not that similar, as both have their own moods; MI is more fruity thanks to the blackcurrant, while Philosykos more green and dry thanks to the fig leaf and coconut. MI is what I want to smell like, Philosykos is what I want my home to smell like. Only thing to complain about is that I easily get olfactory fatigue from this and can't smell it on myself after multiple hours while others still can.

To me, the best of the Colognes in their discovery set. Very fruity, sexy and semi-clean musky, the similarities to Aventus is there for sure, but the fig note which is very lovely, takes it in another direction and makes it feel gourmand'ish. longevity and sillage is very good relative to other Atalier colognes, but probably moderate overall, and certainly not to the level of Aventus. Atalier colognes to me are not overly complex and this one is neither, there tend to be 1-2 notes after the opening which is the star of each scent. They seem very natural and appetiting though so it feels like high quality products.

Love it! I smell the Aventus resemblance but this truly stands on its own. Is this discontinued? If so I'm going to hunt down a back up bottle. Leans masculine but still very unisex. Soft, light, smooth and masterfully blended. Definitely not a beast mode perfume but does last a good while 6hrs and sits close to the skin. The balance is just right! This puts a smile on my face when applied ☺️ Ladies love it too, good summer intimate perfume. Office friendly just smooth sailing stuff. 10/10 - For what is if you want beast mode or mass protection look elsewhere.

An invigorating black currant and sage fresh scent. And unlike so many others fresh scents, the citrus is in the background rather than the forefront making it somewhat unique especially mixed with the creamy fig. YES -- it has an Aventus vibe, but it's much brighter and accessible. I prefer this for summer because it lacks the smoky birchy vibe. This may be my favorite scent ever. The one con? Longevity may be the poorest of any fragrance I've used in some time. Any tips for making this last longer or project more are certainly appreciated.

Yes, its ACs version of Aventus. I prefer a few alternatives to Aventus - especially Nishane Hacivat which has more dimension and performance with variations. This, however is a great almost direct replacement - amazingly the fig, musk and cedar giving the base a much better long term finish and more detail than the overly boring OG. The opening lasts much longer here the currant and bergamot doing a better job with the opening in terms of its length. More linear, longer lasting and cheaper. Im bored of Aventus because it was too simple

This was probably the first cologne I fell in love with. My boyfriend got me an Atelier tester set when we first started dating and I was obsessed with this one. Ended up buying him a bottle for Valentine’s Day I liked it so much. He has 25+ colognes and this one still makes me happiest. Best described as aromatic leather and cedar. Makes me think of walking through a forest on a cool moonlight night. Very masculine but still subtle.

Yum! Thanks to my good friend no-fi, I'm testing some more Ateliers now. This is fig juicy, fresh, musky and herbal all at the same time on my skin, light and well rounded. What a contradiction but still so endearing and so wearable! I have no idea what Aventus smells like so can't draw any comparisons there but this works really well with my skin, it's sweet and sexy as hell yet a little restrained by the musk and I love it.

First blast of sweet bergamot and tickley warm lavender sage. Dries to a fruity sweet leather that's faintly woody at the end. Love at first sniff! Unisex and best for all weather days and nights, though a touch more suitable for cooler weather. Probably the first frag I've tried that is truly wholly universal: all people, all occasions, all weather. 6+ hours later: Moderately strong woodsy warmth remains

Bergamot and black currant in the opening sadly relates this to Aventus. Guys, it is a phenomenal combo, it doesnt mean everyone is trying to copy. This is actually super nice. Dry, leathery musk with woody and I guess a fruity facet from some fig? Main notes to me in the drydown are leather, musk mallow, figs, and cedar. Super nice, one of the nicest non-citrus frags of the house.

Another winner from my Advent calendar. Unisex, and so sexy either way. The sweet fig is done well, giving way to a slightly spicy, slightly musky dry down. A beautiful meld of aromatics that has just a hint of warm leather, that is very drawing of attention. Atelier may have some of my all time favorites after sampling from this calendar. What a great investment.

Musc Impérial is a fresh beauty with a sense of confidence and intrigue! It opens up with a similarity to Creed Aventus, but then evolves into a green fig and woody Mediterranean vibe that gives it its own character. Very nice fresh scent! I’m glad to have it in my collection and will be wearing it in the spring and summer for sure!

Nice mixture of fresh fruity notes. I love it’s top notes, specially black currant and bergamot. After a while scent of fig, gives a delicate and fresh feeling. I love this perfume and it is my signature perfume. It has an acceptable longevity and sillage. It is recommended for use in spring and summer. Enjoy it:)

To me this a juicier, more tropical, less dry / smokey, and less mature but more casual and lighter Aventus ish scent. I’ve actually been enjoying this more lately as well. It’s just easy wearing, a bit refreshing, and happy. Overspray a little to the mid chest, toss on a shirt, and head out into the heat.

Similar to Aventus and actually I slightly prefer the way this one develops, it is less smokey/intimidating and more fresh/unisex. Intoxicating on the skin. It's like smelling it for the first time every time, I always have to ask what he's wearing when he smells this good and it's always Musc Imperial.

Ive had this for about 5 years.... gone through at least 3 200ml bottles..... this is majestic! for ALL who have said its synthetic etc.... AHAHAHA,,,, its literally . 89% natural origin ingredients. think Aventus had a baby with VIW... that's the gist of it with the drydown mainly Aventus etc

This is just stunning. I sweetness of this juice is incredible, I get lots of pineapple and fig, with slight tanginess from the lavender. It's mostly sweet musky fragrance. Very unisex for sure.

A nice composition, but save yourself the money ($140 for 100 mL) and buy a cheaper Jérôme Epinette fragrance with the same DNA: Zara's Vibrant Leather Oud or Vibrant Leather ($30 for 120mL)!

This is a really beautiful woody fresh scent. Definitely unisex.I love this layered with Oolang Infini Atelier Cologne; it softens it in a way that makes it more feminine.

A nice warm woodsy smell, with fruit to mellow it. It's unisex, with a slight lean towards masculine -- the fruit keeps it sweet but not too sweet.

I have ordered it as a Black Friday promotion, which is happening right now 😁 I like it, but do not love it. I was expecting a dominant musk fragrance, but it is not happening here. As you read about it at the Atelier Cologne website, they describe it as sexy. Well, this is officially not a sexy musk. But it is very-very interesting. At first, I get citruses (of course), then musk and a very strong vetiver-patchouli note. Luckily I like either vetiver, either patch, but you cannot see them in the listed notes. Then, after some time has passed (1 hour), it has developed in a very interesting way - like the notes fell apart and you can distinguish them. You definitely feel the herbs (sage & bitter lavender), the leather (which is quite hard and masculine, not a soft feminine suede) and the last one I get are probably ambrette seeds, which give a touch of sweetness. Now that I smelled the blotter again, I can pick up the shy fig peeping through. As it evolves and evaporates, it becomes better and better. I definitely wanted this perfume as I find it appropriate for layering.... As Atelier Cologne was intended to be - for creating your own personal scent. This is a solid, good base, unisex, but in some nuances leaning to masculine. If you are like me, a woman who likes masculine fragrances, you will probably like this scent, too. And I do not get any similarities with Creed Aventus, like the gentlemen below wrote. None. (I have got both. Creed for him is darker citrus, like mandarine/orange, more fruits, less leather, and zero herbs. Whereas Musc is zesty bright lemon with fair portion of the leather 🤷♀️) Update: on the next day the fruits came out, the herbs calmed down and the whole composition is sexy now. Fruity leathery musk. Very pretty 👏😘

Starts off with a super strong cedar note. The opening reminds me of Alkemia’s Enigma, which is just straight up Iso E Super, and I guess that translates as to straight up cedar on my skin/with my chemistry...interesting. Once the cedar calms down a bit (~30 minutes or so), a very interesting musk comes out. It’s not quite “clean”, but it’s not staunchly animalic, either. Cedar/musk, I can dig it. Alongside the cedar/musk accord appears a fougere accord of lavender, sage and suede (not heavy enough to be a true “leather”, in my opinion). During this stage, it swings across to the right of unisex, leaning much more towards straight up “male”. Much as I dislike to admit it, I think this would smell far better on my man and his chemistry than it does on me... About three hours in is when I start to detect the fig & currant. This might be the most tolerable fig I have come across in perfumery yet. Of the two, I detect just a smidge more fig than I do currant. The introduction of the fruit accord makes me change my mind yet again, and now I think it’s back towards “more male”. Longevity extends to the far side of moderate, lasting right about 5-6 hours on my skin. I used up a decanted sample I had the other day for my initial wearing, and then tried it again today from Alteier’s official Perfume Stories sample set. Pleased to report that there was very little variation from one sample to the next. Price point is reasonable enough at ~$140 / 100 mL, but I don’t feel enamored with it enough to add it to my “To Buy” list.

Music Imperial, Atelier Cologne - I like the scent, a bit generic, but good. If you like D&G Light Blue give this a try. It's not a dupe, but it's in the same family. It's unisex but I think it means much more masculine. You can def smell the citrus and soapiness, a bit spicy, leather, and wood. I can maybe smell the musk mellow too, Ariana Grandes God Is A Woman perfume has a strong musk-mellow note. I don't detect any sweetness from black current or fig.It smells basically identical to Old Spice deodorant that my dad used to wear, which smells like a nice fresh hot shower, but it is a generic smell you could get for much cheaper and with better silage and longevity. The silage is close to the skin. For spring/summer daytime. It's about 6 hours later and there is mostly a musk mallow and lavender (note my favorite species of lavender) notes left behind. Honestly, I don't really like it at this point, only BC I think I got sick of AG's GIAW and Cloud. I like those 2 perfumes, loved them when I first smelled them, but I find they cloying after a while. I usually like Atelier Colognes, they're nice to try some natural fresh scents and most are citrus-based. If I was gifted a sample set of their perfumes I would keep it for some nice uplighting scents that are different, but I wouldn't buy a full bottle of their perfume due to the cost, silage, and longevity weaknesses. The company reminds me of Comport de Sud and Aqua De Parma.

Musc Impérial is a lovely, light woody fig scent that reminds me a little of Matière Première Parisian Musc, but is lighter and more summer-appropriate. Perfectly unisex, it is well-blended and nicely balanced - a discreet yet good quality everyday scent. MI opens with a non-sweet fruity accord on an aromatic, herbal background. It feels more masculine at this stage, especially as the lavender note emerges, but the soft, powdery fig note adds a slightly sweet feminine edge as it emerges, quickly becoming the dominant note. Soft, suede-like leather complements it beautifully. As it dries down, it becomes musky and woody. The ambrette seeds are delicious, adding a warm, floral nuance to the musk, while the cedar grounds this scent. Sillage and longevity are reasonably moderate. Understated, yet nicely put together with high-quality ingredients, MI is a great springtime scent. I am partial to fig in perfumery, and it is put to excellent use here. One of my favourites from Atelier Cologne. 3.5/5.

I really do like this. I wouldn't wear it as a woman, but I would LOVE smelling this on a man. It gives me a classic scent of musky, male cologne, but with a little extra something that I would be really appreciative of. There's a pepper here, and a type of citrus. I don't necessarily smell a lot of fruits in it. There's a bit of a sweetness, too. The lavender definitely comes through on the drydown, and the combination is REALLY nice. However, for a young man? I don't know. This gives me dad vibes a little bit. I know if I wore it, my boyfriend would tell me I smelled like his Greek uncles. I think younger men can get away with something a little 'more' than this -- more sweet, more citrusy, more peppery, just... a little extra something that would make me remember what they smelled like. This will make you smell nice, but it isn't anything too memorable.

Smells like if you took Aventus and added some fig to it. It also amps up Aventus blackcurrant note to make it a much juicier opening. On the dry down it is very similar to the heart of Aventus with a bit of the dry fig note but with some ambrette to give a touch of clean musk, it's really nice. As with most Ateliers unfortunately while the scent is great it has poor lasting power and drops to skin scent in a couple of hours, which seems to be Ateliers "thing". The cynic in me says this is by design to get you to use more, which is starting to make me a little less enthused with this house overall when other houses can pull off 12+ hours with some of their frags and Ateliers entire line seems to barely last 4 before needing to be reapplied. That said, Aventus itself isn't really known for its massive longevity I suppose.

When I first stayed this on a tester I was wowed. I really like musky scents. My everyday winter scent is Narciso Rodriguez for Her EDP Intnse Musc Collection. Which is, well, very musky lol. This doesn't really smell anything like that but you get my point. On paper at open, it's a very sunny and warm musk and fig. I decided to spray it on my skin, amd quickly it warmed into primarily lavender, cedar, and musk. Nice but too masculine on me. My husband liked it. This tends to happen to me when there is a good dose of cedar in a fragrance. Something about my skin just projects cedar like I've turned into a cedar tree lol. It lasted a long time on my skin. 8 hrs at least. Lota of people complain that Atlier scents don't last on then. Thankfully I haven't had that problem with them.

Tony nails the review here I think. I was a little gutted this was another Aventus type scent because Atelier have some really good offerings in the main. It's not a clone though and is slightly classier after quite a loud intro you do get an emerging blackcurrant & fig smell as apposed to the pineapple and hint of masculine tones (maybe clary sage?) in the opening. Again reaching the same conclusion as Tony this is a pretty pointless fragrance, it's good quality but doesn't have the balls of Aventus or even clones. I hate to nay say because loads of fragrances smell similar and that doesn't render them obsolete. However the Aventus trend does tend to be a popular one at the moment, I can forgive Royal vintage but sadly not these latecomers.

I Ike this scent well enough--but I would not buy mainly for one reason and that is it skews masculine. I actually wear a lot of heavier wood and "masculine" notes, but this just seems more like something a guy would wear, one that while it does not have all the notes of a fougere wears like one, so Ithink it would be great on some (certainly come ladies can pull this off too if you like the limey-fig notes). I love lavender, but mixed with the other notes, I'm not a fan. I cannot say whether it is like the Creed or Aventus. However, the quality of the notes is sound; it does not smell synthetic to me as some Ateliers do. Longevity and silage are decent, not great, not terrible. 5-7 hours longevity, but the last 2 are skin scent.

without any doubt one of the best in all atelier cologne.smells 70% like aventus. i have both and they are really similar but aventus is 2step better in all features(scent,quality,project,...).start with fresh fruity note and after while turn to woody notes.7/10 این عطر بدون شک یکی از بهترین های آتلیه کولون از همه حال است. بویش تا حدو بسیار زیادی شبیه کرید اونتوس هست. من جفت این عطرها رو دارم و بسیار خوب تفاوت ها و شباهت های آنها را می فهمم. عطر کرید از همه لحاظ دو پله بالاتر از این است . عطر ماسک ایمپریال با بوی میوه ای تازه شروع می شود و مثل کرید در ادامه به بوی چوبی ختم می شود. یه بوی همه پسند داره. ماندگاری خوب و پخش بو متوسط حدود 4 ساعت رو داره.

This is my first bottle of Atelier Cologne after trying the samples. I can't really make up the notes but it's a nice clean, fresh musk scent that's very versatile. To me, it can be clean, can be sexy, can be uplifting. When I compare it to Another 13, (since they are both musky scents). Musc Imperial definitely has more of other touches (like other reviews said, fruity maybe) than Another 13. But those touches are meshed in very well, it's not like you're smelling distinguish fruity scents/fruity musk. That's maybe why I like it so much. It's also very unisex, it will smell great on everyone.

I perceive the bergamot and fig notes to be at the forefront in the first few minutes after spraying. As the dry down continues, the cedar becomes more prominent and with that the fragrance goes into what many would consider a male territory. When wearing the fragrance on my clothes, I get the impression that it transferred from my boyfriend after hugging him. All in all, it is a lovely and very long-lasting scent for those warmer fall days with golden sunlight and blue skies.

To my nose, this is about 90% similar to Sel Santal from Clean Reserve, which is weird because it doesn’t have any sandalwood. It definitely leans musky instead of woody, and the fig is a little bit more prominent, but if you like Sel Santal, you’ll probably like this. Leans a bit masculine in my opinion, but I don’t mind. It’s a nice clean scent and I’d probably buy it if it didn’t cost so much.

I recently received seven Atelier fragrances. I am not very familiar with the brand an am excited to try these and share my thoughts. Musc Imperial is green and herbal but fruity and slightly sweet at the same time with a musky base. It leans masculine but that's ok with me. I like woody aromatics such as this. I would love to smell this on my boyfriend too. A winner in my book!

I bought this on sale for me based on reviews, and it left me with cedar only. I asked my husband if he liked how it smelt and if he'd wear it. It smells delightful on him -- fruity, fresh, and a bit of musk. I love him in it. We are in the dead of winter right now, I'll try it again in the summer and layering with others. He'll probably smell more amazing in it then too.

I have to confess that cologne is not my favorite and having a brand that has it on the name is a red flag but i was pleasantly suprised with this one. More aromatic than fruity to me and the musk with the wood under it just makes it unexpected. It’s bright and summery but not in a predictable way. On my skin it dries to a very austere scent almost with no sweetness.

I like it, but I don't love it. First of Atelier Cologne to me. I can't really pin point exactly what notes I am getting. Very clean and fresh. Interesting scent and can't really say exactly what other scent it reminds me most. There are some small bits and pieces that remind you of something else, but as total composition I can't refer to any other scent.

Lovely clean musk with a touch of fruits and citruses. It also has some slight sweet aspect as well as subtle earthiness at the background. And of course loads of aromatic freshness. It’s quite nice, but I feel a bit of imbalance here, because fig note has a bit of nail remover kinda scent here, which is somewhat disappointing. Follow me on IG: scent.guide
