Oolang Infini

Off the top this is a breath of fresh air. A definite tea note, but i would almost say earl grey rather than oolong, due to the bergamot that accompanies it. Its very light, and almost plays a little hide & seek game, where its light & barely there, and then smokey, woodsey, and very substantial for a spell. a few minuites in it reminds me a little of annick goutal encens flamboyant, and then it mellows and the refreshing tea & smooth "grey" woods return. The leather is dry, and almost makes me think of pearly grey suede. Oolang infini gives a feel of a somehow cool, but cozy and contemplative scent, that plays in waves, and unfolds gently from fresh and light, to smoky and complex in the drydown, like the conclusion of a good book. And indeed, i smell the leather binding, and the evocation of a memory here... Cold winter sunlight through the window, and the scents of leather & good tea, a blanket and a fire, when ocassionally i catch a rouge whiff of cold, fresh air that brings juniper, & smoke. A lovely fragrance, i believe it would be great on a man, although it worked better for me than my husband. It does come & go quickly, which gives it a casual feel, but i too would love to see how it would do in a higher concentration. Beautiful fragrance.

Oolang infini is currently the only 200ml Atelier Cologne I own and which I regularly wear. It is probably one of the most intimately calming experiences I have come across, while still feeling refreshing and energising. I am surprised no one has pointed out the fact that this is essentially a musk fragrance with fresh top notes, Atelier even lists it on its French website as part of the 'musk collection'. Indeed it also acts like a musk heavy fragrance, binding to the skin nicely but not really projecting much. So the opening is very fresh and feels really invigorating to spray on, bergamot with a touch of a green floral twist. However it doesn’t stay tart or green, but rather settles to a very nice tea accord, not really oolong, more like oxidised slightly gunpowder-like luxury black tea you may find at a hotel breakfast buffet. I also get some slight fougere like undertones in the dry down reminiscent of something like Acca Kappa White Moss. To my nose it is pure harmony, the type of scent I never regret spraying on on any occasion, early in the morning but also before bedtime. Fantastic!

I really want to love this, but you have to lay ot on thick to get any kind of projection or longevity. I tend to think most of the complaints on this site about those aspects are way overblown, but not in this case. It's not the worst, but I still consider it a negative. I definitely enjoy the scent itself though. I think what I like most about this is the leather note; it gives it a bit of a smoothed out backbone. It has a great all-around leathery, slightly sweet, tea mixture that is pleasant with a hint of intrigue. This also bears a strong resemblance to Commodity Moss black but with a leather foundation instead of oak moss... so much so, that I could never justify owning full bottles of both. I don't even know which I prefer but Moss came first, so that ship has sailed. The oak moss in Moss makes it just a bit sharper and bifurcated as opposed to this one which is a bit rounder and more unified. Hard to find in stores, but well worth taking a flier on a decant on the Bay. FBs are reasonably priced there too, and at online discounters. Me: 6 foot,205, brown hair & beard.

i never drank oolong tea so i don't know what to expect from Oolang Infini. but wow it turned out that i really like this scent. a completely fresh spicy scent, perfect unisex fragrance. not really sure which note makes this one have spicy aroma, the tobacco blossom perhaps? in my imagination tobacco blossom will make this one smells like cigarette, but i was wrong, it didn't smell like cigarette at all. i wear this to the office, on a date night, to the cinema, at the gym, Oolang Infini really fits every occasion. i saw someone said Oolang Infini reminds him/her with L'eau Par Kenzo. I guess they both of them are not too similar, L'eau Par Kenzo is more has the skin scent than Oolang Infini. Sometimes L'eau Par Kenzo smells even more like human sweat but in slightly good way. Hope you know what i mean.. unfortunately sillage and longevity are poor. I have to wear this quite much so i can smell the scent on my nose, just to immediately dissapear. very sad, but i still really like this one

Brisk fresh air. This feels and smells like you are on top of a moutain or hill in Yosemite or sequoia national park and a light cold gust of wind blows through your area. I live in Socal where temperatures can reach 110°F so I love summer scents like this. It feeling like you aren't wearing anything while still smelling nice. People that say they get poor performance must have extremely dry skin because this easily last 8+ on me without having to put my nose right up to it. I can see why people would call this generic, but let's face it. The majority of people don't wear fragrance and the ones that do will go designer, so this already stands out from those. I travel to Europe, Asia, and the Middle East a lot for work and since I started collecting in 2012 I've only smelled about 30 people that wore a Niche fragrance. Mostly in the middle east since they wear them heavy. So unless your whole town, city, or workplace wears niche you will smell unique

Very sad to see my favorite house leaving the States. Personally, this is the best-smelling scent I have ever tried. Performance is not the strongest, but it's still enough for me to repurchase again and again. Oolang Infini opens with a burst of sparkling bergamot, startling in its clarity, coupled with a hint of sweet, floral neroli. Almost immediately after, a beautiful tea note emerges and remains for the majority of its lifetime. Though the name suggests oolong, it registers as earl grey to me, perhaps due to the citrus accompanying it. The scent tends to last two to three hours with a modest sillage before fading into a skin scent. As it starts to fade, hints of smoky guaiac wood and leather, along with the faintest bit of vetiver, form a musky, warm, comforting cocoon that lingers for a bit longer. I'd say this is almost perfectly unisex, with an incredible versatility for daily wear, casual, office, formal, you name it.

Very clean and fresh! The oolong tea on the top paired with the tropical woods at the base gives an exotic/oriental vibe to this fragrance. The middle citrus and floral notes tie everything together nicely, and the fragrance dries down in a more linear fashion than I would expect from a fresh fragrance. Reminds me of a freshly cleaned yacht sailing the Caribbean. The company advertises it as a winter fragrance for the inspired writer (which I don’t get at all, lol) I would classify this as a “soapy” fragrance which turns some ppl off, but I think it’s a perfect fragrance for a healthcare worker as it comes across as clean and not too offensive. It’s genuinely middle of the road unisex and can be worn by anyone. This fragrance does leave a mild oily residue so I would spray with caution on or around clothing.

My favorite Atelier scent and one of my favorite tea scents. Like drinking an iced earl grey tea with a fresh slice of lemon squeezed into it, while looking out into a misty jasmine garden and realizing that if you don't appreciate these moments of life one by one then they will slip by you through the years. As it dries, it becomes a white musk with some light smoky wood like a room you burned incense in and walked away from for a while. It sits close to the skin and has a calming effect, there's nothing loud or overt to it. I never spray more than 2 to 3 sprays for all of my perfumes (and only once for strong ones), but I can spray up to 4 times with this one without it being overwhelming. It lasts around 5 hours on me and does become fainter with time, but I enjoy that in this fragrance. This is unisex.

this is extremely fresh, clean smelling scent with a little mystery in it. nothing about this is typical. when you first spray this it smells like you have just left a high quality spa after pampering yourself for an hour. Initially i was not impressed but satisfied by the quality. it is after a few hours a kept getting this nice clean smell and didn't know where it was coming from till i smelt my shirt and was surprised to find out its this scent. it develops to smell amazing in a clean way not an attention getter but when it does get the attention it will a big one. this can work year round best in spring/summer. lasting power is an easy 8-10 hours give or take. it isn't a huge projecting scent but lingers on the skin for hours. anyone coming an arms length will smell it on you.

I am not a fan of any of the other scents produced by this house (and I've sampled them all.) But this one, I like! The moment I opened the sample, I was intrigued -- so very different from all the other CA fragrances. I went through 3 sample vials before ordering the large size. This is my go-to fragrance for work, as it is unobtrusive and smells clean without any cloying, sugary notes. I love the way my clothes smell at the end of the day: a lingering ghostly scent that is delish! I detect strong notes of neroli, green and black teas, and bergamot on first application. This fades fairly quickly into leathery-dry tea with soft powdery notes, and finally to clean skin with a hint of summer wood. It's simple, but not simple. Hmm.

I adore this. Oolong is a tea that's between green and black--it's only slightly fermented. So the fragrance is between the sharp of green tea and the smoky tannins of black tea. It's delicate and sweetly fresh; it curls into your nostrils with a subtle and uplifting scent; a feel of potential rather than raw energy. The neroli emerges upon first application, to my nose anyway, but it's not overpowering. So it's like the scent brought by a gentle breeze rather than the heavy fragrance of a bower. The drydown has a silky, slightly animalic smell, like a horse's velvety nose. This is one of the few I will definitely buy. It's mysterious, suggestive, but very earthy rather than ethereal.

When I heard tea, I was thinking crisp and green. On me, this comes across as oh so soft and creamy. It's more like earl grey, with perhaps some milk in it. I am so so in love with this scent right now. It's soothing and calm and delicious and pleasing. On my skin, it doesn't seem to have a lot of depth, but does get dryer in the drydown, losing some creaminess. It just smells good. also, I find it to be a skin scent on me, which is fine. Preferable, actually. I got about 6 hours out of it before it all but disappeared, which I think is pretty good. I will definitely be saving up for a bottle of this elixir. It is maddeningly wonderful.

Neroli, bergamot and tea to open. I agree with Yourfoxiness in that this smells rather like Earl Grey. But nothing smoky in this composition, as with the drydown I get a little smooth soapiness. I don't really get any leather, although there is something in Oolang Infini that makes it feel soft and supple--almost plush. Ferny, steamy, velvety woods if you will, with cool crisp shadows in a humid rainforest; a refreshing mist of water from a nearby waterfall; and a petal or two adding just a drop of sweetness. Hmm... the opalescence of this fragrance is really growing on me. Warmly meditative, comforting and renewing.

I saw somewhere that this is a dupe for Le Labo Gaiac 10. I strongly disagree. I have G10 and it’s smoky and masculine compared to Oolang Infini. Oolang Infini is way better. It gave justice to the guaiac wood note. Bergamot and tea took my attention but dry down won me over. This smells clean and fresh. I got a comment that it smells sweet but it doesn’t smell like that to me. It performs well on hot and humid weather. Lasts around 6hours on my skin. Projection is around arms length only. Sometimes, more. I spray this liberally whenever I use it and it’s not headache inducing. I get compliments on this, too.

185 I love it, it’s earl gray tea. I’m a big earl gray tea drinker, enough said. Demeter had a great version in the 90s, but now their fragrance recipes have changed and all have a bad dry down, like sour oil. As good as this one is, I won’t repurchase it because it’s so weak. I over-sprayed on my cotton top, my hair, my skin-GONE in less than an hour. It’s not healthy to have to spray that much alcohol on your body in order to get anything out of a scent. Please make a strong version of this! 0/10 terribly weak 10/10 perfect replication of earl gray tea

i absolutely love this scent. the first spray definitely comes out more citrus than anything but within a minute, it dries down to this heavenly smoky oolong scent. Over time, the woodiness of it really shines through. I do have to say though, that this perfume is definitely more a 'feel good' perfume for personal use. the sillage is very weak and for someone to smell it they would have to be hugging you. nevertheless, it's a very unique unisex scent that i would definitely gift! Side note: this perfume reminds me of montblanc's starwalker

I love this smell! It's an incredible tea smell, with a hint of astringency that doesn't make it sour. It's fresh and neutral, not overly floral or sweet. Citrus smells sometimes react oddly with my body chemistry, but I never had that issue with this perfume. My only issue is that it's very weak -- an hour after applying it and I can't smell it on my skin anymore. I was willing to overlook that and buy a bottle, but they're discontinued now. :(

i think this is the best cologne from this house. very tender and enjoyable, though the scent isn't strong. it becomes close to skin after 2-3 hours, but you can still feel its presence for some time. i found the jasmine the most obvious smell, so if you enjoy jasmine, it would be great. for the scent of tea, it would be disappointing. but overall i love this cologne, it's very good for spring/summer and office/commuting setting.

One of my favorite fragrances. I received it as a sample with purchase from an online fragrance retailer. Generally, I am not a fan of vetiver but in this it works blending with the bergamot, leather and neroli to create a really light,airy and fresh scent. It is, to me, the scent equivalent of windchimes on a sunny day. I was also pleased to see this perfume house will be appearing at Esxence in Milan this March/ April.

One of my favourite scents, tea and citrus and leather, with very intimate projection, which works well for me. The only issue I have with it is that it doesn't seem to last very long, two to three hours tops and then it weakens significantly and sort of disappears. For its pricepoint, I would like it to have a bit longer wear time. Still, it is the first perfume I got on purpose for myself, based on loving the scent.

I think this is a very sexy kind of masculine, but yet not. Tea yes, but along with the citrus, vetiver, and guaiac wood,this is another winner for me from house Atelier. The composition feels very green and woody with the presents of soft leather running throughout, not masculine either. Could last longer, by the end of the day I smell mostly vetiver, my skin hold it well.

LOVE this, it has become my everyday scent. On me, it is a perfect mix of citrus (particularly bergamot) and woods. The tea is strong initially, but then the vetiver really emerges after drydown. My boyfriend loves it on me too, it is definitely a lighter cologne, you have to be pretty close to smell it. But that being said, it lasts all day. Sophisticated and yet fresh.

This fragrance is very light woody tea scent. It is very linear, but very lovely and fresh. I think it's a bit mineral musky clean too. It's more for men than women, I think. Unfortunately, it's way too light as it is a cologne, and it has very weak staying power. I would love to have one but I need it in, at least, eau de toilette or a higher concentration.

Fresh air, gauze-y, Sunday morning, dried tea leaves with soaked in citrus. That is what Oolong Infini smells like. It is my favourite Atelier Cologne! I have a giant 200mL bottle. Makes the perfect easy reach warm weather fragrance but can also do double duty as a linen spray! It is impossible not to like this scent. Totally work appropriate, non-offensive.

Wow this is very nice. The tea in this isn't a run of the mill green tea note, but rather a black tea. The bergamot gives this an Earl Grey vibe, but it is slightly smoky as oolong tea would be. Somehow this is still a very clean and delicate scent. I really love that it is at once smoky and clean an interesting combo I have never experienced!

This is a tea fragrance that doesn't leave you smelling like a tea bag! It has depth. That being said, anyone looking for a strong, projecting fragrance should keep looking. It stays closer to the body. My description: a barely-woodsy tea that has a smoothness to it and is definately wearable by a man.

I love tea scents and Atelier Cologne. I think it's one of the more deeper tea scents that I tried. A lot of the tea scents feature citruses but although this does have bergamot in its notes, but it's not as strong as the tea and doesn't overpower the whole deeper herbal notes as tea perfumes do.

This is just a relaxing perfum. It's calm and gentle sophiticated scent. it is not going to blow anyone away. but rather people will remember the smell if they come close to u. projection is average and lasting power is 6-8 hours on skin.

Fabulous! Earl gray tea, with tons of bergamot and a little bit of smokiness. It's quite linear, but it delivers on its promises - it does smell like a good quality tea. Keeping really close to the skin, I'll be using it in the summer.

This is a nice, fresh and clean scent. Similar to Bvlgari Homme. Love the mix of fresh bergamot,neroli the green tea and the woodsy of the vetiver & guaiac wood. overall well blend for a nice warm weather unisex scent.

This is beautiful from start to finish. Bright and warm. Slightly spicy with some creaminess and smoke. I really, really like this! Two huge thumbs up.

Such a chic green tea scent! 1h later - boring musc! Complete disappointment considering the price

This is a very pretty, subtle perfume though it is lasting too. Its personality feels quite similar to Armani Prive Pierre de Lune - soft, white, delicate yet fresh with a hint of green. To compare the two, I'd say Oolang is more contemporary and less complex and powdery - younger in feel I think. It's good quality though, because despite the lightness of its mood, it's still lasting well after a few hours. Having said that, I instinctively prefer Pierre de Lune's complexity. Oolang Infini smells more simple and predictable in dry down, though that's what makes it feel contemporary I think. Maybe it's just me, but I get a slightly standard white musk drydown from Oolang Infini. If I didn't know leather and vetiver where there I'd not notice them I don't think, but in the way that leather gives Kelly Caleche EDT a stronger backbone this works similarly, though Kelly Caleche is entirely different with its bracing grapefruit. To me the dry down of Oolang Infini isn't so classy or as astringent. Then again, that delicate, almost ethereal prettiness of tea, light musk and delicate florals does indeed bring a Japanese spring to mind, so it depends what you're looking for. I can see a younger, elegant woman really suting this perfume - perhaps a teacher with understated gentle prettiness, no bling to blight the natural mood! For this idea of an elegant summer floral/leather feminine cologne idea, there are many options, it depends on the tone you're seeking. For example there's Bottega Venetta's Knot - or Jour d'Hermes, though thsoe are more serious and classy cut-crystal-edged than this perfume. So though this isn't quite for me, I do admire it.

Another one that like Musc Inperiale is more "masculine" and "fougere-like" to my nose, but much lighter. A woman could wear this as well and I think more easily than Musc. It is reminiscent of Guerlain's Allegoria series, lightly and refreshingly herbal. The scent reflects the notes--the only one I don't detect as much is the jasmine, although it does have a jasmine tea like quality as well. It's green, crunchy, fresh, slightly bitter from the neroli (almost a burning bitterness). I like it and think it would be great for a blazing hot summer day (which is not the case here) though I wonder how well it would hold up. The bitterness too leaves a bit of an ache or harshness in the back of my throat, so smells good, but a bit abrasive there. Not FB worthy for me, but if one is looking for a GREEN, fresh and clean note without smelling like laundry detergent and also office approprate, low-key cologne, this may be an option if you don't have something similar. There is absolutely no sex appeal in this nor mystery, just pleasant spring--summer fresh notes very much in keeping with other Ateliers that feature citrus though this is more bitter and "pettigrain-like." The leather is present and adds a touch of elegance--so wear with your crisp white shirts, your jeans--or your flowery dress!

I loved the other three Ateliers I've tried so far, and I love tea as a perfume note (although mostly in theory so far), so I was very much looking forward to trying this one. Unfortunately Oolang Infini isn't quite for me: it's both a bit too light and a bit too masculine for my tastes. The opening is mostly citrus, but with a hard, almost plasticky edge to it. When the citrus disappears after a short while, a rather stiff tea fragrance emerges, with a backbone of vetiver and other masculine-leaning notes like leather and dry woods. There's really no sweetness at all in this fragrance, neither in the opening citrus notes nor in the main tea phase. That's not a bad thing, it makes the tea rather natural and realistic in its dry bitterness, for instance, but I do like mine with a little sugar. After only half an hour or so, Oolang Infini turns into a subtle skin scent, I kind of forget that I'm wearing it until my wrist happens to be near my nose for some reason. That's not a bad thing in itself either, there are definitely times when you have enough other things on your mind that this kind of light, subtle scent is just what the doctor ordered. For now though, I'm looking for something a bit stronger, more unisex or feminine, and maybe a little sweeter as well.

Oolang Infini - I like it, it's not a super unique citrus when first sprayed, but as a long time goes on it smells more unique. It's a well-blended unisex (ever so slightly leaning male) fragrance. The postcard that comes with it does not match the scent...the pic looks like it's be smoky and boozy, but it's more citrus. I wish it had more tea and bergamot. Daytime spring summer. The scent is citrus and fresh spicy, the tea, leather, and tobacco notes are VERY faint. I'm not sure what time of year it's be good for, it could be for day or nighttime. It's not quite as bright and fresh as some other Atelier perfumes, but a slightly 'dirty, kind of hay-like' citrus (in a good way), which is why I think it'd be good for the nighttime too. I like it, but I wouldn't buy it and wouldn't keep if gifted, just BC there are so many other citrus scents I like, especially from Atelier Cologne. Sits close to skin. It smells more spicy and less citrusy as it fades last a while maybe over 24 hours, which I'm surprised by. I like it better when it's faded, but the silage is low. I thought it smelt a bit familiar and I realized it smells like auntie Dino's Vaseline handcream mixed with tobacco and white musk.

I found and purchased this scent after many years of struggling with the Atelier brand. I love the scents (honestly almost all of them) but they don’t seem to show up for me. This is such a lovely light scent and it makes me happy so I bit the bullet. I am almost positive that it’s discontinued for the US so 🤷🏼♀️. It is light yet smoky, smooth with a crisp vetiver edge,and as I found out recently very nice to layer with a warm sweet floral (total accident BTW). I wish I picked up more smoke and more tea but they do come through for me. The tea is a sweet almost hay-like tea. I don’t get any neroli and that seems to be a standout note to me when included. I was complimented on this by one of my many perfume hating family members so that is a positive. Definitely a unisex option. Overall I think that I get what I want from Oolong Infini as a super wearable refreshing light day scent that has a little body. Oh and I agree with some of the reviews below re: if you are looking for a citrus dominant scent..look elsewhere.

I love a good tea note in perfume (thanks to my teenage obsession with Tommy Girl). Oolang Infini is a nice, straightforward example of a fresh tea scent. It is very light and intimate however - even more so than the rest of Atelier Cologne's scents. OI is fresh and pleasant and smells like it is made from natural, high-quality ingredients, but it is so intimate that I thought I had not sprayed it properly. It opens with a little bergamot, followed by a delicious, fresh tea leaf note. This is beautiful but very faint. The jasmine and neroli complement it nicely, adding a soft floral effect before the soft, woody drydown. Sillage is intimate and longevity is very weak. Despite being lovely and likeable, it is quite run-of-the-mill, offering nothing original. Perfectly unisex, this one is ideal for people who don't like perfume, but want a hint of freshness. Pleasant and utterly inoffensive, OI is a fleeting scent that is barely there from the initial spray. Far from infini. 2/5.

This is the first Atelier Cologne fragrance I'm trying in earnest, and I think it's a clever one. There's a way in which neroli always has seemed (to me) to have this slightly stinging, bitter, tobacco-like quality. Here, neroli opens the composition which quickly moves to the illusion of smoked black tea and tobacco flower. It's a composition that just makes sense, the notes moving into one another in a way that is effortless and clean but still just a little smoky and sensuous. But after that quick little song, it's on to a lingering and pretty generic dry-down. Some white flowers, a little wood, a little soft white musk. It's definitely unisex, and sort of hovers the line between genres—which makes it pretty malleable in terms of context and wearer, but also a little boring in the end. I don't see myself falling in love with this one, not least because it would be a very short engagement. But happy enough to have tried it via AC's fairly generous sample program.

I like this one. tea, vetiver, neroli, subtle woody notes. It's a really really nice clean citrus tea scent with a small touch of smokiness. I have tried to like tea scents in the past, and I just didn't. Most recently I sampled tribal black tea from Illuminum and although not horrible, I just wasn't impressed. Boredom is a good word for that perfume. Nice is a good word for Oolang Infini. If you want to have a few clean refreshing scents in your collection, this should be at least one of them. It's light and well made, but does have interesting depth to it for a cologne. It goes thru a few changes and strengths as well, which is nice. This would be a perfect office/work scent too. I really want to try other Atelier scents now. On luckyscent a 30ml is $60 and a 200ml is $165. in my opinion, 30ml is too little, and 200ml is too much. Why not a 100ml?? Still and all, I'm adding this to my want list. thumbs up

I wanted to try this specifically because it was based around tea; I love tea both to drink and as a note in perfume and I was fascinated the idea of an earthy oolong perfume. At first I thought this wouldn't fit the bill, because it starts out with a huge burst of citrus, but once the bergamot dies down the scent settles into a very impressive true dry tea smell with a hint of woodiness. It lasted a decent amount of time, too (somewhere around seven hours). Sadly, this doesn't project at all on my skin, so this is not one I would consider buying or wearing on a regular basis, but the composition of this is beautiful and they really captured the smooth richness of oolong tea.

Oolang Infini is a fresh yet woody-aromatic fragrance developped around the notes of Oolong Tea. Oh, forget those everywhere present green tea notes....(hand wash - common body lotions to laundry detergent), this has nothing to do with it. It is warm, cocooning, but still manages to keep you fresh (it's a cologne, by the way). The oolong tea note merges well with the leather and the bergamot in it. It is marketed as unisex but I see it more as a feminine, fresh summery water for its round and delicate drydown. Surprising staying power! (I read that the house spotlights cologne absolute, i.e. highly concentrated formulas - 12 to 20%, depending on the fragrance). A must try.

It's amazigly different an experience for me compared to the expectations - expectations based on the notes and other reviews here. First of all, sillage is quite decent on me, comparable to your average designer EDT. Longevity is not bad, too. The fragrance itself is much, much soapier and more cologney than expected. To my nose it's the soapiest AC perfume among the 12 I've tried so far. The tea note is there, but I have to strain my nose and mind to smell it. I recognise it only due to knowing it should be there. Otherwise I wouldn't have guessed. All in all a decent product, but nonetheless a very misleading one. Anyway, maybe it's just my nose and/or my skin.

Very refreshing, in an Iso-E-Super sort of way a la D&G's Light Blue. Perfect for summer or lovely and crisp against the backdrop of a very cold day. The opening is a bomb of bergamot, a little sweet and fresh on me, before the soapy jasmine, tea and citrus combination kicked in. The scent mostly settles into a woody vetiver in the base. I don't get any magical smoky oolang tea and sexy leather out of this one, which is what I was hoping for, but it is well-blended, light and clean. The fragrance seems as though it's very chemistry dependent, so I wouldn't recommend this one as a blind buy. Very soft sillage; lasts for about 3 hours.

A very pleasant, nice and "layed-back" black tea scent with a hint of neroli. Earl grey - vibe for sure thanks to the citrus. For me, this is very masculine/unisex version of Lancome Miracle. I am happy to own both and they are both fantastic. The color of the label fits perfectly with the scent character, something like a clowdy grey summer day when you seat in a cozy chair on the seaside and read a book, covering yourself with a light blanket from the sea breeze. my boyfriend did not like oolang from the first time, but gave it a try couple of times, and the scent has grown on him. Now he wants a bottle :) so give it a try!

Atelier Cologne Oolang Infini opens with smoky tea leaf. It then becomes more clear and herbal as if the water is poured into the cup. The drydown features a smooth and sweet woody base along with green tea. The sillage is very soft and the longevity is around 6 hours. Oolang Infini is a relatively pure green tea scent, and it doesn't have many twists. But what I appreciate the most is that it does not fall into the usual sweet fruity green tea category. If a pure and understated green tea fragrance is what you seek, Oolang Infini is worth a try.

This reminds me very much of Bal d'Afrique and Vetiver Tonka, although more the former than the latter. I think it's lighter and fresher than Bal d'Afrique, and definitely unisex. To my (inexperienced) nose, the citrus really comes though, lifting the vetiver, hence the lighter, fresher feel. I think "fresh spicy" is a pretty good description of this fragrance. Great longevity - I could still smell this on my skin when I awoke the following day! A really pleasing fragrance, and one that may well have earned a place in my wardrobe.

Love this scent, although I need to overspray and reapply to make it noticeable on my skin. Even then, it lays close and remains fairly subtle. Much like tea, it is both calming and energizing -- soothing and yet lively. The opening is a flash of brightness (very quick), followed by a natural smelling tea (not quite photorealistic oolong, but not the brightness of green or the acidity of black), finally drying down to a light, cozy, woody scent that retained hints of tea. A true unisex scent, there is nothing gendered about it.

Nice fresh tea and neroli fragrance, with a very nice impression of tobacco flower supported by woody notes in the base. On the same shelf with Bvlgari pour Homme, maybe a little step higher than Bvlgari's. While linearity is not a downside in itself, poor performance is: I unfortunately have to confirm that it is not more than a skin scent after 5min. Unisex, leaning a little bit masculine, but very wearable for anyone. Still, the retail price is not justified. Do not buy without a huge discount! Spring days, 25+.

I don't understand so much the enthusiasm for this house. they have all a bit of an antiseptic/chemical smelling quality and I blame it to the strong synthetics used. oolang infini is, for me at least, the scent of the line that I like most (actually only because of the tea and because it has at least a bit of complexity). I don't think it is only iso-e-super, although I sense a big amount of it. has also a kind of strongly radiating sweet/vanillic accord in the base...
