Philtre Ceylan

It about time I reviewed this amazing fragrance. I really enjoy Atelier scents overall, and this is one of my favorites. Atelier is known for doing realistic citrus scents, and while this is part of their Oriental Collection, it does contain some citrus. Black tea is joined by cumin, spearmint, and lesser notes of citrus, cardamom, and papyrus. PC begins with a spicy tea tempered by the spearmint. That alone is intoxicating to me, but after about 1.5 hours the spearmint has subsided along with most of the citrus, and a green note emerges to play with the tea and cumin. I haven't really smelled anything like it before. It does have hints of parts of other scents I enjoy, like déclaration and Bvlgari PHE, but this is much more harmonious than any of those, and is very well blended I get great longevity (10+ hours) with decent sillage. It turns to a skin scent after 2-3 hours on me. It is unisex, but it definitely leans more masculine than feminine (cumin and tea mix). Definitely something I believe every fragrance lover should try. It may not be your cup of tea (pun intended), but you will have a deeper appreciation of the world of fragrances if you do try it.

This is fresh and spicy. I think this is totally unisex. It's light and bright and green but muted if that makes any sense - it's a quiet, calm, introverted yet cheerful fragrance. I really smell the tea. I'm a long time lover of tea scents and I've never smelled one I like more than this one. My first fragrance that I wore for years was Elizabeth Arden Green Tea. If you generally love all tea scents like me this is a must smell. It has great longevity 8+ hours but stays pretty close to the skin. My main problem is I want to spray it over and over again all day when I'm wearing - so addictive. This is a great year round (though I fell like it would shine in spring and fall/autumn) scent for the office. I also think it works for any casual occasion. Edit: Yeah, this is my all time favorite tea scent, at least for now. Ps. Several of the comments I've received from other women IRL were about this being peppery. It doesn't bother me and my brain goes straight for the tea notes, I guess. Seems to be noticeable (decent sillage) and relatively inoffensive (comments have all been that I smell good). Safe for the office.

مثل تمام عطرها که آب و هوا در انتقال حس و حال عطر بسیار موثره؛در مورد این عطر هم کاملا صادق هست و توی فصول متفاوت،احساست گوناگون ای رو منتقل می‌کنه توی هوای گرم این عطر فضای خَفه و دَم کرده می‌گیره اما بهار بهترین فصل برای این شاهکاره فیلترسِیلان با شروع ای پرصلابت از روایح سبز و ادویه ای تازه آغاز میشه و بوی زیره‌ی سبز و تازه رو عمیقا میشه حس کرد زیره ابدا حس عرق کرده یا دم کرده نداره و هم نشینی اون با چای،ظرافت بیشتری هم بهش میده حس ای که چای توی این عطر داره به شدت گیرا و جذابه.بوی نسیم خنک ای که از روی دشت گذشته باشه و صورت رو نوازش کنه دو عنصر اصلی این عطر به نظرم چای و زیره است اما از تاثیر گذاری سایر نُت ها در به کمال رسوندن این رایحه نمیشه گذشت و رد پای سایر عناصر لیست شده رو با دقت و استشمام عمیق میشه پیدا کرد خصوصا هـِـل بسیار دوست داشتنی و ارزشمند ****************** scent:9/10 longevity:8/10 sillage:7.5/10 purchase value:7.5/10 ******** overall:8/10

I have nothing to say but love wearing this perfume. It is really a tea perfume through and through.... And unlike its predecessor, Oolang Infini, this one really stays all day... Meaning silage and longevity are stellar. The tea used here is ceylon tea, and maybe there's a hint of assam tea as a result of the mixture with other ingredients. Initially i wanted to buy Oolang, but when I knew it wouldn't last long, so I came across Philtre Ceylan, and everything that I wish to be present in a tea based perfume can be found in this juice. Yes the price is higher than Atelier Cologne regular release, but for me it's all worth it. If you're a tea fan, this one you just have to have.

213 This is the strongest scent from Atelier in my experience. It’s still weak-moderate. It starts with minty citrus notes, then a light sweetness comes in with a black tea note and sweet spices(cardamom). There is also a slight green pepperiness at opening through mid stages and this lasts the longest in addition to the sweet spiced lemony black tea. The very end leaves you with a scent that I would describe as a mellow earthy, a touch menthol patchouli. But I am guessing that’s the remnant of the black-green tea and wood notes. Also, I don’t get any cumin and I am cumin sensitive and hate it. 9/10 good unique, love it, Like cold sweet spiced black tea with lemon and sugar.

What a beautiful fragrance. I love this combination of notes. The spearmint gives off a nice freshness and also adds a deeper spiciness with the cumin to give the green tea a wonderful backbone. This fragrance is pretty linear throughout its duration, but, I have no issues with that. The entirety of this fragrance is stunning. What I love the most about this is that it last 8 plus hours and projects for 3. This is also completely unisex. Tea is universally loved and I can see all heaps of people rocking this bad boy and loving it. I wish Tea was utilized more often. Makes for some very simple fragrances but the many varieties of tea notes smell absolutely gorgeous to me.

Oh My Sweatea! My first time with this perfume was an exciting experience, impossible to detach my wrist from my nose ; it opens with the scents of strong black tea infused with citrus and spearmint. What happens next is surprising and interesting: a competition between great tea notes and cumin; it's as if the cologne were breathing on your skin, one exhale smells of tea, the next of cumin...back and forth...on and on. And cumin and tea are a great combo. As a lover of cumin and animalic notes this fresh creation is my summer favorit with Déclaration. Big love

I can't believe this perfume has been discontinued. I loved this perfume so much that I used three 100ml bottles. I still cherish and use the last remaining 30ml bottle I barely managed to get after learning it had been discontinued. A beautiful fragrance that suits both men and women. Regardless of gender, many people have asked me what kind of perfume I use. I'm sad that I can't get it again. Written by a big fan in Korea.

این عطر یکی دیگر از عطرهای برند مورد علاقه من یعنی اتلیر کلون می باشد . قبلا با عطرهای جاسمین آنجلیک و برگاموت سولیل به اندازه کافی نظرم به این برند نیش با کیفیت عوض شد و ذهنیت خیلی خوبی برای عطرهای تولیدی این برند آمریکایی در من به وجود آمد اولین تستی که از لاین کالکشن شرقی داشتم، این فلتر سیلان میباشد . عطری که بر پایه دو عنصر غالب، از ابتدا تا انتها برایتان داستان سرایی خواهد کرد . چای و زیره سبز زمانی که فلتر سیلان را بر روی پوست خود اسپری میکنید، به راحتی رایحه چای خشک به همراه رایحه نیمه شادابی از ترنج را حس خواهید کرد که به سرعت توسط رایحه تند و اسپایسی زیره سبز احاطه میشود. منتها بوی زیره، قوی تر از چای به نظر میرسد که حتی رایحه مرکباتی عطر را هم تا اندازه زیادی خفه میکند. با اینکه تند است اما آن تندی نیست که سردرد آور باشد و یا نتوانید به راحتی تنفس کنید . تندی این عطر تصفیه شده با تمی خاکی می باشد . معمولا روایح اسپایسی یا ادویه ای تند و تیزی خاصی دارند که دماغ را اصلاحا قلقلک میدهد . اما در این کلون وضعیت کاملا متفاوت است . شما میتوانید عمیقا نفس بکشید بدون اینکه رایحه تند زیره سبز برایتان اذیت کننده باشد . اگر از عطاری دانه های درشت زیره سبز را خرید کنید و مقداری مشخصی هم چای سیاه خشک را با دانه هایش ترکیب نمایید، فکر میکنم تا حد مطلوبی با رایحه نسبی این ادکلن آشنا شوید. در هر حال این آکورد، بوی جالب و خاصی دارد که مشابه آن در کمتر عطری وجود داشته است . هر چه از عمر این عطر اتلیر کاسته می شود، حالتی معتدل تر و رو به گرما به خود میگیرد و رایحه زیره سبز حکمرانی بیشتری را بر سایر نت های عطر خواهد داشت . رایحه عطر حس رسمی تری به خود خواهد گرفت . کمی تند تر و کمی چوبی تر خواهد شد . گرم تر و بیشتر مناسب استفاده در شب خواهد شد در این عطر به وجود چای سبز و چای سیاه اشاره شده است . اما بنده فقط بوی واضحی از چای خشک سیاه را حس کردم . این نوع رایحه برای ایرانیان بسیار آشناست چون چای در فرهنگ کشور عزیزمان جا افتاده است . رویال عطر سایتی برای عطربازان ایرانی

I'm almost tempted to FB but not sure. This is, as the last reviewer said, very easy to wear and most likely inoffensive--though that is not a plus in my opinion necessarily. It has a sweet green grass and mint feel with a very low level of cardamom in the background, tea at the fore along with iris. I do not really detect the wood, and while this opens in the usual Atelier fashion with citrus, it's far less citrusy than their other offerings, a welcome change because after a while so many of these start to blur together in my mind. This would be lovely for summer and spring, and while it's not sexy, it is comforting, almost gourmand in some way. Before I looked at the notes, I considered what I thought was most predominant: to me it was tea and...melon. I smell cantaloupe and honeydew. So that might be the ozonic quality I'm picking up. So if you like "green" notes without the bitter herbal quality, but rather a softer, sweeter, more melon/cucumberish nature--this might do it for you. While I don't find it sophisticated, it is pleasant and "lifting." While all these are unisex as perfume has been and should be--this "seems" more "girlish"--as in young lady. I'm not young, but this would be fine for a hot day running errands. I don't think I would be as enamored of it on a man, but if you can rock melons and tea, go for it.

This is certainly a beast in terms of longevity on me, but does wear a bit closer to skin. Not a faint scent by any means though. However, it looks like its discontinued? Update: Whilst it's very cumin-heavy (love when I'm alone, not so confident to go out as its quite a sweaty note), I've figured its amazing for layering other fresh herbals on top of it, it softens and warms up my Terre de Bois from Miller Harris, and adds to the longevity considerably. Curious to try with some other fresh and cooler tea-scents. I've a 200 ml bottle, so if you want a sample or decant and you're in the EU, get in touch.

One of the best tea scents I've tried. I love tea for two and this has a strong black tea like that does but instead of the toasted smokiness that has, this one goes for a more zingy bergamot route which takes it into a (slight) earl grey tea realm. Mint wasn't a big note on my skin, mainly the straight black tea so I don't get much overlap with MM Russian Tea like others seem to get in the "reminds me of" section. I personally get great longevity also, not as long as something like Gold Leather but a decent 6 hours of it being noticeable which is in line with Tea for Two.

Beautiful. Fresh green tea and mint opening, with fresh florals (no rose in the pyramid, are we sure of that?). Shortly after, the black tea takes over. Then the tea note becomes more subtle, and to my nose the drydown is at the crossroad of Tobacco Nuit and Emeraude Agar of the same house (less woody). Performance is average to good. Totally unisex. Highly recommended. Warmer Spring/Fall days and Summer evenings, women 20+, men 25+

Cooling black tea with a minty aroma and a healthy dose of cumin that brings a dirty and interesting kick. Smelling up close, the cumin is dominating the blend for a good couple of hours and it can be too much for me, but from the distance the smell is nicer, the adding of cumin works well with the minty black tea. 7/10

I like it. It’s clean, dry, fresh, and I do get the green tea notes. The cumin didn’t come through to me at all, it was a long lasting tea and citrus. I think this is definitely a summer scent to me, and while I enjoy it I think it’s not one of which I’m going to rush to purchase a full bottle.

VERY realistic cup of black tea: freshly brewed Ceylon, no milk or sugar. Astounding how spot-on Atelier got this! It's not the most interesting fragrance - one note, really - but if you're looking for nothing but black tea then you'll be pleased.

Bracing but refreshing green tea/citrus/mint combo right off the bat, which I loved. After a few minutes the cumin and woods take over, which I did not love.

WOW. I thought I was going to absolutely love love love this based on the notes and how nearly all Ateliers I have enjoyed and own many. In addition, most of my highly loved scents all have tea notes. This on my skin just doesn't seem to translate. That being said, for an Atelier, this one lasts for such a long time. I could smell it all day even though I only sprayed it once on my arm. I do think it is also perhaps more masculine on me (even though most of my collection includes a lot of unisex scents). Now that Atelier Cologne are no longer available in North America - or will be unavailable shortly - I am glad I at least got to try it. And I am SUPER open to selling if you are curious -> I have a 30ml with box missing just one spray. :)

This is an objectively beautiful and unique fragrance. However, the fragrance on my skin smells like I’m masking sweaty body odor with a black tea-based fragrance. The initial spray, the cardamom is strong, the cumin is there too and becomes stronger as it dries down. The two spice notes are heavy and dominate over other notes. The tea notes are there, they lean more to black tea, there’s a slight smokiness tomorrow. Overall, I wanted to love this fragrance, but it isn’t for me due to the resemblance to body odor from the cumin and cardamom.

Tried a sample of Philtre Ceylan by Atelier Cologne after reading reviews that say this one has better longevity - sadly, not on me (same as with all the other Atelier scents I've tried - gone in a matter of minutes). I didn't experience any 'tea notes'...just a bit 'grassy yet clean scent ' for a few minutes... then all gone. Will not purchase this or any of the others by Atelier line - waste of money!

All the times I have tried this scent, I was amazed how cold and beautiful the tea note is. I have used up a multiple of samples and samples "in life" in store many times, until I received a bottle of it in a swap and I just cannot stand the newly discovered cumin note. All I notice is only cumin, cumin, cimun, I cannot wear it anymore. The scent is also discontinued now...

I had to try this, because this has Ceylon on the name!!! The sample isn't a spray, it was the dab type. On wrists, inside of elbows, and neck, rubbed some on my hands and then touched my hair so my hair can share the scent. Initial expressions- a very fresh, not so sweet, wonderfully spicy tea scent. The fresh citrus is from the bergamot, the tea is obvious from the Ceylon black tea, and the spice I suppose from the cumin. I smell more bergamot than tea, but that's fine. It's strong, but not projecting much, perhaps because the sample is not a spray. Project out about 3 feet at most. 5min- The scent is still going strong and there is a cloud of citrusy tea around me, when I carefully smell my wrists I can clearly pick out the spice, which is likely the cumin. I had my mother smell this, and she said the smell reminds her exactly of this fruit we have called "Jambola" which in English translation is called Pomelo, I think. It's similar to a giant grapefruit. 30min- Still feeling wonderfully fresh with the bergamot and the fresh black tea. The scent is linear, but it's great nonetheless. The cumin pops in here and there. 1hr- Scent is still obviously there but had died down slightly. Mostly smells of the bergamot with the tea background. 3hrs- Can't smell scent on skin anymore, but can smell on hair and clothes where scent touched. The scent is very linear which is fine, as it smells beautiful. Reapplied for the fresh citrus, tea, spicy smell again. 5hrs- Can still smell since I reapplied at the 3 hour mark. Mostly smell in hair and my blouse. My skin eats this fragrance so smell faintly on skin where it was reapplied. 8hrs- The reapplied skin areas can be detected faintly with the citrus more pronounced. Hair smells of the scent but for the most part the scent has disappeared (even the re-sprayed areas) Smell: 8/10 Sillage: 4/10 Longevity: 4/10 (Scent lasts at most for 4 hours) Conclusion: This is a beautiful, slightly spicy citrus/tea scent. It's unique, especially the first hour or so when you can detect the cumin in the background. The cumin on this fragrance is less like curry (kind of like Jungle Elephant by Kenzo) and more clean. However, performance is poor, especially for this price point. I would buy it, but there are many other similar scents for a fraction of the cost with much better performance. This is also pretty unisex and can be worn by both men and women. 7/15/2019 Update: Actually, I think I may buy it since it has Ceylon in its name. I feel like I should smell like this in the heat when I attend an outdoor wedding.

Philtre Ceylan is a part of Atelier Cologne's Collection Orient which also includes Mimosa Indigo, Poivre Electrique, Tobacco Nuit and Encens Jinhae. Philtre Ceylan comes across as one of the most authentic renditions of black tea one has encountered in a while. It begins with an ethereal cardamom laced citrus that immediately transforms into an accord of black Ceylon tea. This is different from other black teas including Darjeeling, Assam and other flavoured black teas such as Earl Grey. The aroma is robust, slightly smoky, slightly sweet, dewy, and closer to that of brewed tea than dried tea leaves. The cardamom and a hint of cumin support this tea accord; however, spices are kept to an absolute minimum so that the tea is the focus, and the composition never veers into masala tea territory. This phase is long lasting and linear, till eventually the tea and spice notes diminish a bit as an enveloping, semi-sweet guaiac wood joins the other elements to add a nuance, and to form the final dry down of tea and woods. Philtre Ceylan possesses good longevity on skin of about eight hours, and is discernible throughout before fading away towards the end. However, the sillage is also soft to moderate, though perceptible, and forms a soft cloud around the wearer. Philtre Ceylan is easily the standout among Atelier Cologne's Collection Orient, and a general highlight in its catalogue. While it is somewhat pricy for what it is, it also fills a gap given the relative dearth of quality fragrances focussing on black tea. Anyone missing Coeur de Vetiver Sacre's brilliant interpretation of tea will be advised to consider Philtre Ceylan. However, personally one finds Coeur de Vetiver Sacre to be best reserved for summers, while Philtre Ceylan is an attractive proposition for an autumnal scent. 3.5/5 (positive)

This is the green scent I have been looking for. I could never quite commit to Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche or Un Jardin Sur Le Nil Hermes. Conceptually they were what I wanted but there was something about them that didn't feel quite right. When I first opened the vial of Philtre Ceylon, I was immediately transported to a yacht somewhere in the Mediterranean (think white linen shirts and Panama hats). The ingredients are so well paired that it was difficult to distinguish what the top notes were but when I went to make a cup of tea, I realised that the scent lingering in my nose was a light and sophisticated menthol, which made me think of Laura Mvula's 'Green Garden'. The reason I like this green fragrance as compared to Hermes' or Chanel's offerings is the tea, which gives the fragrance depth, warmth, and a degree of smoothness, which is lacking in other green fragrances where the citrus and wood scents can combine to give a freshly cut grass smell. In my opinion, the tea and bergamot provide a human dimension which is lacking from the other 'green' scents I have tried. I am biased, of course, because I relish the smell of real Assam and Ceylon teas as there is something sexy, mysterious and old-worldly about them. If you like green tea, that's there too and is distinguishable in its own right. I'm not sure how they do it. I had been struggling to find a clear winner out of Atelier's range of quality fragrances but I think this may be it.

Have to agree with other reviewers describing it as a realistic cup of tea. It's Ceylon tea indeed, perhaps brewed with milk (there is no milkiness in it, but the tea smell is not as sharp as the tea brewed with just water). (Atelier Cologne claims it's both black and green tea, but all I smell is black Ceylon tea, and I am certainly not complaining about that). Interestingly, I smell spice (cardamom, cumin) and incense, but the perfume still smells like a plain cup of tea to me -- the kind one would get in Eastern Europe, without any hints of spice. A very slight floral note (iris) serves to accentuate the tea's character, not to overpower it. It works for me in temperatures under 18C (65F) or so. After that, it loses its exquisite edge and simply starts smelling sweet, although not cloying. Average silage and longevity. A true luxury perfume, and priced correspondingly, alas. If you have access to an Atelier Cologne boutique, they are usually very generous with their samples. It reminds me of Precious Oud by Van Cleef & Arpels -- bergamot is a top note, it's warm, it's comforting, and it has a tea aspect to it. Highly recommended if you are a tea lover -- or if you love unusual interpretations of oriental perfumes.

I wore this perfume from a sample and tried repeatedly to figure out the “dirty” scent in it. It wasn’t dirty like the earth it was dirty like animalistic musk. My friend commented on my perfume three times in an hour which finally prompted me to look up the notes. I am a bit embarrassed to admit I could not figure out what the cumin scent was in this fragrance. I literally make a menu for an entire month, shop once a month, and eat as clean as possible. At least four days a month are dedicated to Mexican cuisine or Tex-Mex. Put simply, I use cumin often. But the cumin with the mint: wow. They offset and magnify each other so well. I would have never joined the two but this is holy matrimony. I do not smell the tea. Maybe I am just missing it or mistaking it for part of the cleanness I get with the mint. Once dried down I could smell bergamot although it is definitely just an accompanist and not the main act. Listen, do me a favor and wear this all day. People will talk it’s that good. It’s that unique. It makes you wanna do bad things and then organize your basement. It is such a conundrum but in the best possible way.

Bergamot and spicy black tea—a little tannic and sweet, zesty but not as citrusy as many Atelier Colognes. But my absolute favorite part of this is the cumin, which I find to be the central character of this fragrance. As someone who toasts a lot of cumin seeds, there is a pitch-perfect note of that here—not human musk as it can often be perceived, but soft warm spice. That beautiful moment alone makes me feel like this would be perfect for fall, a touch more femme than masc in my opinion, but still unisex. There are some very admirable qualities to this fragrance, but there's a persistent fruitiness that I can't quite figure out from the listed notes, but I'm guessing it's the papyrus—it presents as a sort of scratchy, annoying, brash red berry. It's very present to start, drying down a little nicer but never disappearing entirely. It's because of that I can't decide of I like this or merely tolerate it. In any case, I feel like all the components are there for this to be a fragrance I love, but unfortunately it doesn't quite get there. (6/10)

Longevity - 8/10(8+hours) Silage/Projection - 7,5/10(moderate to heavy projection and silage for the first 2-3 hours) Weather - For more or less any time of year.Best in spring and summer.I personally wouldn't wear this on a really cold winter days. Versatility - 9/10 Age - 24+ Compliments - 8/10 Scent - 9,5/10 Main notes according to me - black tea,cumin,bergamot,papyrus,mint. The drydown is a bit woody,dry and smokey and I get some tea,spices,papyrus and guaiac wood. Emotions -transcendent,spiritual,natural,unique. Occasion -For more or less any ocasion. در ابتدا حسی شبیه به ادویه پلویی یا آبگوشتی داره. البته نه اینکه حس بدی باشه. در مرحله ی تاپ نت تنها این حس القا میشه. در نت میانی ؛ ترنج و زیره وجود داره که در واقع این دو در هم ادغام شدند. کمی هم که از عمر عطر در مرحله ی میانی میگذره؛ بوی چای سیاه خشک که با ترنج و زیره مخلوط شده به مشام میاد. البته اگه بخواهم نسبتهایی رو از این ترکیبات در نت میانی عطر ذکر کنم؛ باید بگم که زیره 60 در صد؛ برگاموت 10 در صد و حدود 30 در صد هم چای سیاه خشک قابل ذکر هست ---------------------------------- At the first, You can only detect spicy notes, without any other notes. In the middle notes, I could detect bergamot and cumin. They are mixed together so good. I live in a country that people drink black tea so much. So I am very familiar with black tea scenes, At the middle notes, dried black tea, bergamot and cumin is detectable. If I want to say perception of these notes in middle notes, I should say: Cumin 60% Bergamot 10% Cardamon 5% Dried black tea about 25%

My third try in Atelier Cologne's Collection Orient, Philtre Ceylan is purported to embody tea in a realistic sense, though I'm not a tea drinker. What I do get is an unusually similar vibe to Atelier Cologne Vetiver Fatal and Byredo Bal D'Afrique, perhaps just in the mix of the ingredients, as I don't see much actual similarity among their note breakdowns. The tea is certainly there but it's not like the tea of Creed Silver Mountain Water, for example, wherein the tea seems to assist in the freshness. In Philtre Ceylan, the tea is spicier and more provocative. Beyond the tea, there's a mix of citrus, mint, iris (it is, after all, slightly powdery), and a semi-sweet woody base of guaiac. Performance is okay, but like Poivre Electrique, leaves something to be desired relative to Tobacco Nuit, especially give the pricing of $250 for 100ml and $325 for 200ml. Surely not one I'd buy but I can see why some others would love it 6 out of 10

This whole line from Atelier Cologne makes me so tempted. Because all the fragrances are Easy To Wear, Not Overpowering, Natural Smelling, Very Associative, Very Emotional! What can I say about this particular one Philtre Ceylan? I can smell tea, with sugar and lemon, very fresh, just brewed, uplifting caffeine portion that energises, a doze of positivity and chill! It's extremely inoffensive, light and pleasant. Any season would work well for it! Very naturalistic, very unique, sweet and a little bit citrusy! I love the smell of papyrus, they have it in Santal Carmin as well. It gives the fragrance that dry creamy woody deepness which is very light at the same time. Very wearable for a casual spree.

Indian spiced tea! The smell of another part of the world - the notes weave a journey to the exotic by accenting aromatic tea with cumin and papyrus. Opens with a very noticeable cumin and bergamot on my skin - a delicious limey spiced scent with black tea and papyrus. There's a dry feeling b/c of the spices, but the bergamot and tea balance it, making it feel like a sunny day in an outdoor market. Reminds me of the "Orient", as Atelier's collection is named. I get images of seeing huge elephants laden with precious tea destined for foreign ports, cargos weighted with embroidered silks, and tangy citrus piled high. Kind of reminds me of the the film, Viceroy's House. Makes me want to visit India!

When you were a kid did you ever leave your crayons in the car and they melted? Or maybe you did the crayon shavings on the wax paper "stained glass windows". For some reason, that is what I smell or that is the memory I associate with this perfume. While I love cumin, I think my "meh" with this fragrance is cumin should not be in a perfume or at least not such a dominant note. I feel like I have just made tacos and then washed it down with minty iced tea. I would love this a lot more if the cumin wasn't so crisp as the rest of the composite is quite lovely. I would say it is but a mere 6/10 for me. Atelier has better by far.

دوستان عزیز توضیحات کافی رو دادن و دیگه چیزی باقی نمی مونه که بنده عرض کنم فقط خیلی خلاصه بگم که یک بوی شیک و نافذ با پخش بو و ماندگاری واقعا بالا در این عطر هست و از اون بوهایی هست که خودتون که می زنید از بوی اون خیلی لذت می برید.بویی تازه و طبیعی که یاد نوعی چای میوفتید شاید چای هایی که در ایران هست بیشتر معطر شده و غیر طبیعی باشن و نمیشه گفت این عطر دقیقا بوی چای خشک رو میده اما با اولین بو کردن به یاد چای میوفتید اونم یک بوی تازه و خوش آیند.توصیه می کنم حتما اون رو ببویید چون حیفه .

hmm weird, this smells exactly like Dolce&Gabbana's Velvet Vetiver on me, even tho the notes aren't the same and they both smell like good quality Morrocan tea blend This has more projection and last a bit longer, But I feel like Velvet Vetiver notes blends together more easily and the projecton and longevity are still decent even tho its less, Philtre Ceylan feels more like different notes separately at the same time if this makes any sense

One of the best of perfumes of REAL ceylon tea. it is green,woody and aromatic,after that will be fresh.better for all time,best scent in unisex. بویی بسیار زیبا که تداعی بودن در فروشگاه چای سیلان اونم نه از نوع ایرانی بلکه از نوع اروپایی میکنه. توصیه می کنم حتما این عطر رو بو کنید...هم مناسب تابستان و هم مناسب زمستان هست...بوی مست کننده ی چای اون شما رو به سمت خریدش روانه میکنه ماندگاری این عطر و پخش بوی اون در مقایسه با دیگر اعضای این برند بالاتر هست.

just tried this. Top notes are strong cardamom, lime, cumin, and mint. Definitely reminds me of an Indian restaurant . Very interesting. I could see someone confusing the cumin scent for BO though. Nevertheless, a unique, quality scent. If this wasn't so expensive, I'd maybe consider getting a small bottle.

Sweet Hugs It was a first warm spring Sunday this year. We went out to play and have fun with kids. My younger 3-year daughter gave me tons of kisses and hugs and chick-to-chick cuddling. It was so sweet, warm, sunny and joyable mixture of scents with the addition of Philtre Ceylan.

I have been searching for the perfect earl grey/Black tea tea scent and finally found it's holy grail, Philtre Ceylan. This is as close you can get to that familiar scent, as you sniff it directly from the tea box, looove it.

The cumin is prominent from initial spray throughout its lifespan & is utilized in an intoxicating way...just like Declaration Parfum...only this lasts way longer! I highly recommend if you like a fresh cumin & tea combo.

This smells like a minted lamb kofta or falafel. The tea is the only saving grace in this fragrance as it helps the mint to keep it smelling fresh.

If the cumin was way toned down this would of been ok but that sweaty cumin takes over and it's a complete scrubber. No thanks.

Bad performance for high price! Save you're cash and buy a perfume concentration for that price, not this weak cologne!

This is not a typical tea fragrance. It is way too sweet. super sweet. and spicy cumin with smoky papyrus.

We love this release ... one of our favorites...
